Rumi By Bukhara in Liverpool

Many times we been to rumi restaurant the previous place was nice and better. Services was good, food also good but we can't find more food options on menu don't know why...

Went on a Wednesday late afternoon after some shopping. The food was awesome and the service was excellent. We ordered Bhuna Ghosht, Tarka Daal and a Gourmet Burger. There were some other interesting dishes on the menu which we would try if we visited again. Only thing i will say was the food was Hot eventhough we had requested Medium. Just be mindful of this and request mild if you cant take the chilli. Its conveniently located to the multi-storey £5 a day Car Park and has Namaz/Wudhu facilities.

Absolutely terrible service! Booked a table last week on saturday for 7:30pm. We arrived at the restaurent got seated. It had been about 15 minutes an no one had come to get our order. I asked the guy working if we could place order. He had the worst attitude and customer service skills I have ever come across! He said we would have to wait as the kitchen was too busy apparently! I mean what kind of service is that! I have never been to a restaurent that have said the kitchens busy so we can’t place an order! They shouldnt take bookings if they can’t handle the pressure. Im not being funny but it wasnt even that busy in there. I do not recommend this place to anyone! Glad I walked out definatley do not deserve my money! Don’t bother going to this horrible place

Small and cosy place, great service and the food was excellent and perfectly priced. First time to have shank briani and its my new favorite now, their chicken karahi and cheese naan were also very tasty and the food smelled divine

Went in to get a takeaway and wasn't too impressed being told it's cash only. The food is nothing special considering it cost more than your run of the mill Indian. Probably just stay local next time.

Food is ok but pricey, but the service and cleanliness are appalling. Waited a long time to be served, the waiter didn’t speak English and the toilets in particular were disgusting. On balance probably best to avoid.

We had the 5 course Christmas menu and it was amazing! Our first time here, but won't be the last! Very friendly staff!

I love the purple decor! Food was good, great menu with some unusual choices. Generous portions, tasty food. Love the diner concept. Whilst it was all fab, I just felt it didn't have that wow factor, but definitely recommend.

The food was amazing, never had anything like this before. The taste was amazing, the crunchiness in some dishes were amazing also the spice was fantastic as well. The restaurant may be small, but it's worth going to.

Fui con mi novio. Ambos muy impresionados con la comida, el precio y la limpieza del lugar. El servicio debe mencionarse en particular, ya que el caballero (¿supongo que gerente?) Fue agradable. Tomó nuestro pedido completo sin anotarlo, solo le dijimos nuestro pedido una vez y no hubo errores. Nos escuchó, eso significa mucho para mí. He estado en lugares donde he tenido que dar mi pedido 4 veces antes, por lo que particularmente se destacó para mí.

Entré aquí con mis 2 hijos y un pariente. El chico parecía frustrado y nos dejó dando vueltas a pesar de que el restaurante estaba bastante vacío. Estaba mostrando una mala actitud hacia los clientes que pagaban. El gordo con anteojos necesita asistir a un curso y aprender algo sobre cómo comportarse con los clientes. Esperamos más de 10 minutos antes de caminar justo frente a este tipo y no hicimos ningún esfuerzo por detenernos. Realmente pobre considerando que siempre vinimos aquí a lo largo de los años.

Solía venir aquí regularmente con familiares y amigos y he gastado una cantidad razonable de dinero en el proceso a lo largo de los años. En los últimos tiempos, su actitud hacia los clientes se ha vuelto francamente grosera y parece que le están haciendo un favor al ofrecerle una mesa. Al tipo calvo con anteojos (lo siento, no sé su nombre) realmente le vendría bien una capacitación en servicio al cliente y aprender a ser un poco más hospitalario y cálido. La dirección y el personal de Kimos (al lado de ellos) son un contraste total.

We were in Liverpool and found this place to eat. Overpriced and the service was extremely poor. We were not served with any sauce ketchup ,mayo and water jug when they were on all other tables. Staff is super lazy and have no customer service . Very bad experience.

It was a long walk from Albert dock to rumi in search of finding authentic paki/Indian flavour and this is heaven ... I couldn’t resist myself to write will having it ...... must try guys .....

Disappointing visit! Poor customer service! We were asked to change table thrice whereas there was no reserved note on those tables. Portion sizes were quite disappointing and small. Even kids portion was very small! Lamb curry was quite smelly and disappointing taste. Overall not recommended

Visited this restaurant with 4 friends who are from India. They all gave the food a thumbs up. Good value too. Good portion sizes. Discount for students , NHS staff.

Una visita previa al partido y todo fue excepcional. Orden tomada rápidamente, servida rápidamente con una sonrisa y la comida era excelente y abundante, un gran agradecimiento por el arroz pilau. No podría haber pedido más y satisfecho de no haber tenido un titular. Punto de precio satisfactorio.

Worst ever service I ever had from a restaurant staff saying to the customers why didn’t you order bread well before time as we were busy and it would take time right in the middle of meal. Staff need training how to deal with customers.Food was ok not the best.

I don't eat indian food on a regular basis, however this was absolutely amazing. We opted for starters and a main each. When in liverpool I would definitely return. Great value for money.

Rumi foods actually good all the time. This time we ordered lamb biryani, and mixed grills they were really good delicious taste. Would recommend to all.

Poor service. Entered restaurant and waited 5 minutes for a table which has happened before whilst venue only has 2 small tables. On 2 occassions the Manager has been stood 5 feet away from me and left me standing with family to the point where I have had to ask “can I have a table please”. Staff always look miserable. Never look happy. They walk passed you knowing you’ve just entered and won’t greet you. I am a regular customer when I am in Liverpool because the food is of good quality. Very very poor service. I have been over charged before for orders that have not been even been ordered. I have had food come out to my table at all different times and not all together when asked. Management needs to focus on customer training as this let’s down the venue totally.

It’s my best Indian restaurant In Liverpool, serves all types of Indian dishes, and they have a good selection of ice creams and drinks.

We were out at Cheshire Oaks and decided to go out to eat in Liverpool as there was a lack of choice at Cheshire Oaks. We got recommended this restaurant and honestly have no regrets at all. The food was full of flavour, very reasonably priced and portion sizes were great. I ordered a Prawn Karachi with rotis and the amount of prawns was actually a shock as restaurants are usually incredibly stingy with sea food. 9/10 I would go again. The only issue I has was the rotis were too crispy and the seating area is a little small but other than that it was perfect.

Friendly waiter who also spoke fluent spanish (which helped with explaining some of the dishes) but the main reason to visit is the food. Spectacular and defent value for money.

Ate here last Sunday and wasn’t disappointed. The food was fantastic. You could taste all the individual spices. The meat was so well cooked on the bone then bone removed before serving it just fell to bits. The tarka dhall was really lovey with plenty of garlic. The hot madras was really flavoursome and I had a dish with cream and coconut but again was lovely and spicy. We absolutely loved the meal and the Mango lassi was to die for.

Fantastic, I can't believe that this is an Indian restaurant and make "Machboos" the way they did it. It is very delicious and make you feel at home. They are definitely very good at their food ( biryani and other Indian dishes).Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

Ordered chicken korma, chicken masala curries, rice and starters/sides and came to over £30...I have tasted better ready meals and it could have come straight out the packet. Worst Indian I have ever had!

Very very average . Visited with family and decided to try it as having visited Bukhara in Blackburn , thought give it a shot . Standard fare of kebab rolls mixed grill and biryani . Humus as a starter needed more effort instead of being just plonked in a dollop on a plate with a few shards of coriander. Kebab roll was very nice but the mixed grill and biryani was way too average . It's OK but nothing special .

The chutney’s were really tasty and the pop’s crispy which makes a change to some Indian takeaways. The chicken samosas however were not that great. The two curries we had were pretty tasteless too and had a runny soup like texture, on the upside there was plenty of meat in one of the curry dishes.

We visit Liverpool on a regular basis we allways come here for great food and service and it's good to see they still have regular staff who are friendly and welcome you here all the food we have tried has being very good l recommend this place it's small and very clean and they have great ice cream we will.be back .We are from Edinburgh THANKS

absolutely loved it! been here a few times, went a few days ago and it was very very busy! that was literally the only negative food was amazing, decent prices, great service and atmosphere they have homemade icecream!!

Yesterday we ordered take away food. We were completely satisfied with all the food. This time we ordered lamb biryani and chicken biryani and mixed grilled meats.I really enjoyed with my portion and chicken roll and lamb roll the taste was delicious would recommend to all.

We were lookiing for a place next to our hhotel for food we got thiis place reccommended and we ordered chicken pakora and two chicken bhuna's the were the best we have had outside the anarkali in glasgow, also staff were very kind and made you welcome

Such friendly staff, they were so welcoming and we could have sat in but were exhausted after trawling around Liverpool city centre just looking for a place to eat - we were thankful this is where we found that.

Really enjoyed our meal tonight, so much food and very tasty. Lots of variety on the menu and the waiter was great with advise. Will be back soon.

A friend recommended this restaurant recently and today we finally found time to try it out during a quick visit into Liverpool city centre.

The food here is amazing the best Indian in Liverpool. The food is tasty and authentic at a reasonable priced. Plenty of meat in the curry’s unlike most places where theres only a couple of meat pieces swimming in the sauce. Also plenty of vegetarian dishes to choose from. Delivery is just as good as eating in good potions and hot when it arrives.

Poppadom for the starter, the chutney and sauces were amazing! Especially the green spicy/minty one.

This is second time I visited this restaurant we oredred lamb role and chicken biryani prawn 65 and chicken 65 completely satisfied with all the foods would highly recommend

If you want true indian/pakistani food, this is the place to go! I really enjoyed the food, the place is great for families! Worth the price!

Went during lunchtime and was offered this new pre plated buffet called Rice and 3 Curries. I had the non veg option with a still water, bargain at 8.95. Well done Rumi...

I ordered a fish curry and got a batter curry, all heat no taste - especially of fish, sadly. I ended up with an amount of batter on the plate equaling that of rice left on the serving plate. The fish won the game of hide and seek, perhaps it escaped. I'm at a loss why anyone would want to put battered fish into a sauce anyway???? I advised them that the meal was awful as I paid, I was told I should have said something, no serious attempt to refund, and that I should return - I politely advised them that that wasn't going to happen.

I had just arrived in Liverpool last week and was looking for somewhere for lunch close to my hotel, on Mount PLeasant. Rumi's couldn't have been a better choice. I had the plate of 3 vegetarian curries and an excellent Mango Lassi - all for less than £8! The curries were well-spiced and nicely cooked and the service was pleasant and efficient. It's got quite a 'cafe' feel but having said that, it's quiet and comfortable.

It was Sanam in 1980's Mumtaz in the 1990's This Millenia and still going strong I have to say Bukhara (the chain of 3) is IT.

This restaurant/cafe has an awesome collection of gelato. The food is divine. I highly recommend the Chicken 65.

Ordered takeout through Deliveroo. We are vegetarian so ordered the vegetarian samosas...one out of three of which was meat! My girlfriend took one bite and was completely horrified, as this shouldn't be expected. Clearly this one slipped through the net, but it's a pretty poor mistake.

Rumi By Bukhara is upgrade Restaurant in Liverpool . It contains Indian food ,Arabic and Burgers . The lovely staff makes you feel confortable . My favoraite thing about it is the prayer room for muslimes . I sugest you to try Chiken Biryani . It is my best lunch meal .I hope you all to try it .

The service is so good also the prices are fair, i only tried vegetable biryani with Rita and I liked them so much.

The decor is a far cry from old school ‘curry houses’. It’s a more modern looking cafe vibe inside.

Rumis has been my number 1 restaurant for Indian food for ages now and it by far has some of the best authentic dishes in Liverpool. I especially love their selection of Vegetarian dishes. I would definitely recommend this place.

I am very regular customer.i order food from them almost every weekend. Bit this time when i ordered biryani it was not enough and uncooked rice less then half portion you can see in this photo i gsve atteched.and you what is more disappointing thing is its poor customer service,when i called them to complain the guy on the phone was not even apologetic no respect for regular customer he was arguing .i have attached photo of plate its small plate does it worh the price i have paid? Can you imagine its £15 ..

The Mixed Grill starter is incredible and could be a main meal in itself. Excellent value. Also the Chilman Biryani is a specialty of this restaurant and is an experience. It loogs like a pie, but is a biryani. Stays hot for a long time as well.

I ate here with some friends and the food was really good, I got to try a mix of curry’s, they forgot the chips we ordered at one point but we realised we didn’t even need them. Naan was really fresh. No disappointment

Le personnel est incroyablement sympathique et très ouvert. Le plat que j'avais commandé était beaucoup trop épicé, pourtant j,avais commander le moins épicé possible. Le serveur a ramener le plat en cuisine afin de le rendre moins épicé. Les prix sont très bien pour la quantité de nourriture

This restaurant looks like an ice cream parlour when you walk in, but don't be fooled: it serves very tasty sub-continental food and the prices are more than reasonable.

We visited Liverpool for a few days from London thinking we might not be able to get good quality halal food in Liverpool. We decided to try Rumi for the first night. We ordered samundari prawns and afghani tikka in starters and fish Karachi in main. Starters were brilliant but portions were small. Main was good as well.

The food was good and the waiters were very friendly. We were a group of more than 20 adults and 5 children. However, other menu dishes are more tasty and rich with spices in comparison with the whole lamb.

This place is a gem. Excellent food excellent service. Good variety of cuisines and desert. Defo need to visit whilst in liverpool. Might even meet some of the football stars.

Had three curries for main. Chicken Jalfrezi, Desi lamb on the bone and lamb bhuna with nan and rice. Then chocolate and oreo gelato and chocolate fudge cake. All excellent. The curries were hot and tasty and rice was soft. Dessert were delicious. Enjoy! Highly recommended.

We visited with friends on a Saturday night and were immediately welcomed, greeted & seated...it's always a pleasure to come here & this must be our 5th visit from Yorkshire. The starters came well presented and were so delicious we felt like repeating them. We had Chilli mushrooms, Tandoori prawns, Kachori chaat, chicken filet burger & steak wrap with Mezze & Thai mango salads..we had chilman lamb biryani & chicken laziz which where the meat was succulent and very tasty..perfectly presented Roti & Naan with Kunafe as desert to finish off...Rumi by Bukhara is a perfect place to neat those winter blues whether it's an evening out with friends or a business dinner or quite simply a quick brunch during shopping...a truly remarkable restaurant...

Good food and service. Visited a few times menues do change about quite alot and so do the prices and portion sizes.

Fourth visit on Saturday. Always amazing. Make sure you leave room for home made ice cream. No booze policy does not spoil visit. If you ask me it enhances it.

for an Indian rumi's food is the closest you will get to Indian food. The flavours and spices are authentic. Unlike many places in Liverpool the lamb is LAMB. I recommend you try the CHILLMAN BIRYANI.

Everything they serve is extremely delicious especially their biryanis 😍😍👌🏼I highly recommend trying the restaurant if you would like to eat perfect Indian food.

Rumi kindly supplied food for our event a couple of weeks ago. Staff were lovely, really approachable and dedicated to ensure everything was to a high quality. The food tasted amazing and we had great feedback for this from all that attended! We look forward to making a trip down again soon! Thank you

عثرنا على مطعم رومي بالصدفة بعد خروجنا من حفل تخرج الجامعه.... المطعم حلال و يقدم أطباق مختلفة من عدة مطابخ بالإضافة الى الجيلاتو... أطباق المطعم لذيذة رغم انها حارة جدا و مليئه بالبهارات ولكن يمكنكم مطالبتهم بتخفيفها وقت الطلب..ز توجد غرفة للصلاه في المطعم و يرتاده الكثير من الطلاب المسلمين الذين يقيمون في ليفربول خلال فترة الصيف
