Rue Gourmet nails it with exceptional service – the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like a VIP. Couple that with their outstanding food and coffee, and you've got a winning combination for a delightful experience. John

In my opinion the best cafe in Buckhurst Hill. Interior is lovely and the food is well presented and fresh. I hve had two or three lunches here and they have all been delicious. The coffee is very good too.

My son ordered a roast chicken sandwich brown bread and that is literally what turned up plonked on a plate no garnish or anything , I could have gone to Costa opposite for that , to be fair though when I mentioned it they did take. It away and add some salad , presentation is important

I always attend Sunday morning after church. Their friendly service is great and warm. Menu choice huge but I always have the same. Coffee and toast. Its my special chill time if the week. Free water and Sunday newspapers are a huge plus.

Great coffee friendly service. Lovely independent cafe alternative to the big chain across the road. Will be back soon to try the food

This cafe is fabulous! Such a gorgeous little French find in East London/ Essex. The coffee, crepes, smoked salmon, cakes - all so delicious. Been going here since the summer. Am not very grateful for the delicious takeaways. Yummy! My lockdown treat to myself and my family.

So thankful that Buckhurst Hill finally has an authentic French cafe, and we no longer have to suffer the awful coffee and service of the mediocre Costa Coffee which is somehow still in business. The coffee is fantastic, the food delicious and the mainly French staff are charming and friendly. You have to try their cheesecakes, little pastry tartlets and, of course, their lunchtime menu which includes a delicious soup daily.

Visited Rue Gourmet for the first time this afternoon & enjoyed delicious freshly made sandwiches & great tasting coffee ☕️ I had a very nice Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese & Mum had a very tasty Ham Sandwich, both on a lovely fresh granary bread. Very friendly, pleasant & prompt service and extremely well organised in relation to Covid matters too! Will be going back again soon!

Had a lovely evening at The Chambers. Food was excellent. Amazing flavours, totally different experience from your standard Indian restaurant with a nod to traditional style Indian food served in a modern way. Serving staff were attentive and friendly. Decor was modern and good atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.

We popped into 8 Rocks for breakfast after a Parkrun. We are pleased we did. The place was clean, staff clearing tables quickly after customers had left and were very friendly and attentive without being overbearing or making us feel rushed. The menu was expansive - we had eggs royale and a salt beef bagel - both of which were lovely. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

This place is so nice I'm a regular I'm always buying vindaloo and foul thought I would try the buffet and it didn't disappoint was amazing quality at a very good price the service was quick and every time I ran out of drinks or anything I didn't have to say they just looked at the table and said would you like more drinks so they knew straight away what I wanted amazing staff and management keep up the good work 100%Honest review .

Called here with a view to lunch to find it is now (end Aug) a smart looking Tandoori/Curry restaurant. We weren't looking for a curry lunch so did not stop.

Roza used to be our favourite Turkish. However it has gone downhill in recent times. Our last two orders have had missing items. We ordered the filo parcels for £6.50 I would expect more than three, it never come with the sweet chilli sauce. My chocolate brownie dessert was the smallest slither and came without ice cream. Again, for £6.50 I would expect much more. All the hot food and bread was stone cold. We didn’t receive a large pot of garlic sauce we paid extra for. We were told it would be around 40-50minutes, it turned up 20minutes later than that. All in all a very disappointing experience, cold food, long wait, over priced, missing multiple items, poor quality control or care.
