The service from the waitress who was on was incredible she was so attentive. The food was amazing I had the Rudi's burger and it was brilliant. I would definitely be recommending this restaurant to friends and family 👍

When to Rudis for Sunday lunch. I had the only veggie option and didn’t like it. Beetroot and butternut squash wellington. The roasters were hard and the veg was dry. The staff were friendly and attentive though. I wouldn’t go there again.

Good service. Good food. Staff were nice and friendly. I had Battered fish and chips my mum had a margarita pizza. Food came out in good time. Plenty hot enough, my fish and chips was one of the better ones I have had in pubs / restaurants for a while.

Popped in before theatre. So after 6pm. Place was busy with other theatre goers. I ordered a ceasar salad, my friend had a noodle bowl also with chicken. I paid an extra £2 for chicken to add to salad. It arrived with a jug of warm ceasar dressing, blink and you will miss the parmesan, 5 small flat slithers of chicken, 4 slices of fried baguette ( too big to be a crouton) and a small amount of cos lettuce. I think the 1 chicken breast used, was probably used for 4 other meals that night. No flavour and the chicken wasnt the best. It was inedible. And to add insult, we were charged before we received and ate!! Service was good, food nil points.

This was my first time visiting Rudi's and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I was greeted warmly upon entry and had excellent service from all of the staff thoroughout the visit (as it is table service). The Mac and cheese burger I had was delicious and came with a very generous portion of chips and was excellent value for money. Whilst it doesn't have the widest menu, there was enough on there that I would return again if I'm ever back in Swindon.

Friendly welcome. Table service. Quick service. Great tasting coffee. Grand daughter had a lovely drinking chocolate with all the trimmings. Good prices. Very clean.

Had bottomless brunch today. The staff were absolutely brilliant. So on the ball as soon as a glass was empty. Really friendly and super helpful The place was nice and clean and funky The food was enjoyed by most but I had the ceaser salad which was vile. So many capers and the dressing overwhelmed all the salad leaves. The chicken was dry and the croutons were very average. The score is representative of the team not the meal I had

Popped in here with friends prior to the cinema, for food and drinks. First off, didn’t think it was my sort of place but I changed my mind as time went on. There was a great atmosphere and the service was excellent. Drinks were prompt and we couldn’t fault the food (burgers and pizza). All the staff were friendly and attentive. I would be happy to visit again and ideal pre-cinema due to location.

We booked the tiger bar for a private function. My wife's 50th. Fantastic. Rachel was very helpful throughout and they provided the best night ever. Big love yo Shawn and the other staff who helped make it a great night.

Great night and nice drinks let down by possibly the rudest waitress I’ve experienced. Was out with friends and the tall dark haired waitress couldn’t of been ruder, snarling, blatantly ignoring requests even walking away at one point. will not be returning for that fact alone

Drinks were great when out with friends only thing to let the place down was the waitress rude from the moment we got in there didn't want to serve us and actually shut the door in a member of the groups face when asked where our drink was her attitude was absolutely disgusting especially when we were all spending quite a lot of money shame as would never recommend rudis to friends and will not go there again There was a young lad who served us and he was absolutely amazing and couldn't of done more for us just a shame the waitress spoiled our evening

Honestly the rudest barmaid speaking to the waitresses like rubbish created the worst atmosphere and made us feel so uncomfortable. Drinks were lovely, but no chance we were staying or will return! Get rid Rudis!

Me and my partner first arrived to a warm welcome from the door staff and sat at a table straight away even though they were so busy (clearly shows how good of a place it is when it’s completely full inside!) We we’re explained how the table service worked and we were served in minutes. The staff were so friendly and down to earth when we were asking “what’s the blue cocktail over there??” We were treated so well, even when we sat outside at the end of the night under the heater one waiter came over and asked if we were “nice and warm” while delivering our drinks. Just little extra touches of customer service went so far. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The cocktails were incredibly nice and there’s a huge variety! Will be recommending here to everyone I know in Old town. Can’t wait to come back!

Had our work Christmas Party at Rudis and it was enjoyed by all. Great atmosphere and the waiters were very efficient and friendly. Food was good. Would recommend.

Well I must say the most unwelcoming bar I have been in for the last 10 years we came in escorted to a table we asked to go to to another table and he went hmmmmm ok, the bar staff have obviously had a death in the family as they are unremarkably miserable Get a grip Rude/ies Stay away

Service was very slow, sat for 10mins before anyone took our order and when it did arrive one of the drinks was completely wrong (we only ordered 2 drinks) If your going to offer table service I’d suggest doing it right or provide better training to the staff to ensure the customers aren’t left waiting and disappointed.

Poor food poor service 3 course Xmas meal , all courses were not good , cold tasteless and very small serving Service was slow

We recently had our 30th birthday at Rudis, with a brunch for 50 people and then hiring the Tiger Room upstairs. Rachel helped us the whole way through organising everything and was so accommodating. Tom and his team were amazing on the day, nothing was too much trouble and made sure we had a fantastic day / night. Thank you so much!

My friend and I went into Rudis quite late on Sunday evening My friend was unfortunately unwell while in thereThe staff member told me if I needed any tissue or cleaning products I would have to get them myself from the toilets I personally will never step foot in that place every again

We came for a hen party and had a private room upstairs. We did a cocktail making class which was well run and great fun. We then had a 3 course sit down meal. The food was exceptional and there was plenty of it. The service that we received at all times was brilliant and we were all made to feel like we were valued customers. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great evening. If ever I you are looking for a small venue for an intimate party I would definitely recommend Rudis.

Only critism that I have was there was no actual menu you had to look at it on your phone -- as a lady over 50 I found this very difficult and had to have help from the lovely waiter . Some of us older people struggle with seeing things on tiny screens and it spoilt the start of our lunch . However the food was good and the service excellent but please keep a few "real" menus for people who struggle!!!!

Went to Rudis with my girlfriend to watch sport and have food. Never had such a great welcome to a bar before. The staff were really friendly and the beer was great. Moreover, the food was delicious. What made the night was the manager who made the effort to ensure everybody was having a fab time and came around to ensure allNeeds were catered for. Can’t remember his name but he was a big guy - cuddly bear kind of man with ginger hair. I think he the staff called him big Sausage.

So hotel all food areas closed, what to do. Didn't really know the area so a wander around and found Rudi's glad we did. Outside of course because of the rules, but heaters over tables. Great waiters, food a bit basic, but much better than non, and great atmosphere. It was so good we eat there both days we were in the area. Glad you are there, and if I am back in the area when you are open inside as well I will be back.

We arrived at Rudis at 3o’clock for bottomless brunch having booked the table over a month ago. When we arrived the manager went to take us to a table downstairs however shortly changed his mind and said he was going to move us upstairs. We didn’t think anything of it however when we got upstairs there was only ourselves and one other table up there, no atmosphere and no waiters. Not what we was looking for. We kindly asked the manger if it was possible to go back downstairs as we had booked over a month ago and this wasn’t what we had booked. He told us he would see what he could do. 45 minutes passed and we hadn’t been given a menu or any drinks. We went downstairs and asked again to which the manager told us to go back upstairs and he would come up. When he came up he was so aggressive, shouting and being so rude. He told us there was no difference in being upstairs this wasn’t what we had booked and there were several tables of 6 empty downstairs. He was so rude to us we decided to not stay and went elsewhere. Really disappointed as been to Rudis plenty of times before however manager is rude and needs to learn to not let his emotions take over.

Unfortunately, our trip booked here to celebrate an engagement was ruined by the rude, aggressive manager. A shame as we had previously experienced many good evenings at Rudis and will now avoid at all cost.After sitting us on a table of 5, despite there being 6 of us (we explained our friend was running late), we asked to be moved to our original table. We had booked a month in advance. The manager said ‘he’d do his best’ but what he meant by that was he’d ignore us. When we hadn’t been served for 30mins, I proceeded to approach the manager to politely ask he come and see us at our table (respecting social distancing rules). He came up 15 minutes later and began getting extremely aggressive. He left twice, leaving other waiters to discuss the issue with us (both very polite, I feel sorry for them working under him). He then came back shouting at us telling us this was our table like it or get out. He said if we wanted to go on our original table we would have to pay extra. We were already buying their expensive bottomless brunch and staying on after for drinks. Needless to say, we left, not wanting to give our money to this man. As did the table next to us who confirmed the service was awful. On the way out I not only noticed a couple was sat on a table of 6 (wonder if they had to pay extra for the missing 4 people)? But after I asked him to calm down and stop shouting at me, the manager showed me his bookings and explained he had overbooked because ‘people keep cancelling’. I explained that we HAD turned up and had not cancelled, therefore putting us on a table which didn’t have enough chairs and not serving us for 45mins wasn’t acceptable in our books. We understand during Covid things are stressful, however as 5 girls we felt very intimidated by the rude, aggressive manager and instead of getting angry about people who haven’t turned up, he should focus on looking after those who have and are willing to spend a lot of money.Our friend arrived as we left and the 6 of us had a fantastic bottomless prosecco (for less money) at The royal oak.

The management team were very professional in taking our booking, which was made in advance. Staff worked hard and were very professional with good prompt drinks service.Whilst the food was served quickly it was not great. Not disappointing to require complaint, just bland and plain.We enjoyed the atmosphere and staff, nice for a drink but based on this visit not food.

Wow. Tonight I have experienced the most horrendous treatment from the owner/manager of this bar. It would appear from the last review that I am not alone.I have come here for many years and tonight came with 4 friends. The food order was wrong and one side missing and my dish completely wrong. I advised this wasn’t what I had ordered from and i picked at the wrong dish that wasn’t taken away whilst waiting for my actual dish. The remainder of the wrong dish was removed when they brought out the correct one.Given my friends side and my dish arriving once everyone else had finished eating I did request that these be removed from the bill, neither were touched. When the bill come the initial wrong dish was added to the bill so I requested this be removed as I hadn’t ordered it. The manager was so aggressive telling me I was “f*ing pathetic” quibbling over £7 when he was having to make staff redundant. He slammed a chair down and threw it back to the correct table. Had he approached with that reason in a nice way saying they couldn’t afford to lose money I probably would have paid it however I will not respond to aggressive behaviour. He was threatening and abusive each time he came to the table, refusing our money initially after we paid the waiter and brought it back to us and slammed it down on the table saying “pay your whole f*ing bill”. He threatened to call the police which I welcomed him to do. When we left he continued to be aggressive and confrontational and very intimidating. Throughout the evening he would get in my face and was breaching social distancing and followed me out of the door separating me from my friends. I questioned his aggressive manner he agreed he was and at a later point invited me to come and speak to his wife which I felt was very odd.My friends had to ask the security man to follow us out, he was excellent as were the young waiters who tried to not be involved. I feel for the staff who work under such an aggressive man and I will not be returning to this bar which is such a shame given that I have been going for the past 17 years.

It was mine and my friends first time going but couldn’t fault anything at Rudi’s bar! All the staff were so nice, in particular- Shawn the manager of the establishment. We were made to feel so welcome and enjoyed our chats with the staff! (Shawn, doylston & Ryan) The drinks were lovely and even though our order got a bit muddled up, Shawn gave us the drinks on the house. We will 100% be back again!

Born in Swindon but moved out of town a while ago, we were staying at the local Travelodge down the road. We passed here on our first night at it looked great it was a little late for us though so we decided to stop for drinks on Saturday. We were pleasantly greeted and seated quickly, drinks (cocktails) were spot on however we did have an issue with a couple of lads who were seated next to us, being loud and upsetting other guests. One table asked them to keep it down and it nearly ended up in a fight. We were so concerned by their behaviour that it was mentioned to door staff (and the boss on the way out). We paid our bill and left and to be honest it did ruin our night, I (as a female) felt very uneasy. We wish we could've stayed and had a better experience. Track and trace was done upon entry so hopefully these lads were dealt with appropriately.

My wife and I have been eating and drinking at Rudi's since we were in our late teens and have brought our own children here many times. We were looking forward to our meal but the experience was not enjoyable. Service was slow, the atmosphere was quite stressful, the staff were avoiding eye contact with customer's and the food was very disappointing. The lady who took our order for food was civil but unfriendly. When our food arrived it was not very warm and was over cooked. We made a complaint to the owner, he walked off leaving the food on the table. We were not sure what, if anything was going to be done about it.We waited a bit longer and decided to pay for our drinks but not the food which was still left uneaten on the plates. The owner's wife offered us complimentary deserts but said we would have to pay for the food, we declined. The owner then came over, ripped the bill up in front of us and said they did not want our money, he then flounced off before we could say anything. My wife and I have never experienced such treatment. Before writing this review I emailed Rudis explaining how we felt but have not had the courtesy of a reply.

We have come here many times for just a drink but never eaten here, only wish we had sooner!!! This was our third Wednesday in a row of eating out during the 'Eat out to help out' scheme and we can honestly say it was the best restaurant of all. The service was friendly, efficient and attentive and the food was fresh and tasty. A wonderful choice of dishes... and they do the best sticky toffee pudding I have ever tasted!!! Will definitely eat there again... soon!!

It was our first visit in Swindon town centre since we're not local and we're looking for a place to have breakfast. We spotted this restaurant , looked on their menu and voila...we enjoyed it so much! I ordered pulled beef brisket in sourdough bread. Their fries taste so fresh and everything to me is perfect! Will come back again and will recommend to friends.

I came here for Sunday dinner with the family, 6 in our party. Rudis Bar has been around for as long as I can remember but I've never actually eaten here until now, and I was very impressed.Firstly they let us in with kids, something I wasn't sure if to being with. Service was prompt and friendly, while my family ordered the Sunday roast (a bargain at £12 for 1 course) I went for the burger, it was a thick well cooked burger, still juicy and full of flavour, while I had a little food envy when everyone else was tuckng into a stacked plate of roast dinner, I was happy with my choice. The burger came with fries rather than chips. The Sunday roast were big with a bowl of veg to share between two and a saucer of gravy each, seriously I've never seen so much gravy, to the point that, what I'd consider a stroke of genius, I poured the excess gravy over my fries!Everyone was complimentary about the roast dinner, no complaints even from the kids, everyone was full after and left happy.

I have visited Rudis Bar for many many years. The service hasn’t ever been disappointing but most recently it has been absolutely spot on. The food is definitely worth a try- especially Sunday lunch- always prepared with care- hot food hot! All the team are welcoming and helpful, however, the young blonde lady has a natural flare and ability to know her guests expectations (and more) she is a classic example of going the extra mile!! Visited Rudi’s many times with friends and family. Also solo for alfresco people watching! Whether visiting for a quick pint, breakfast, light lunch or a Sunday lunch staff have been exceptional even at the busiest of times. Food is very good with a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing happy hour and good sized cocktails, although some were overly sweet. Happy hour was from 5pm- 9pm, and the deal two cocktails for £10, which we took full advantage of. The cocktails were all delicious and good sized, with a fun candy floss cocktail. The bar staff were all friendly and helpful, and chatted to us as they were making our orders. The atmosphere in there was friendly and pleasant, with comfy and spacious seating areas. The bathrooms were also really clean and good sized! Will definitely revisit!

Stopped here for a few drinks before a curry in a local Indian. Pleasant atmosphere, good selection of draught drinks and flavoured gins. Lots of staff behind the bar so never had to wait long to be served.

Booked a table for work Christmas lunch over three weeks ago, as expected it to be busy so close to Xmas. Arrived to be told that nothing had been booked (after standing for ten minutes trying to find a staff member) Luckily we had the email confirmation as otherwise that was the end of our lunch. Only two staff on the floor, rushed off their feet - both friendly but not great with the ordering- a lot on the (fairly small) menu had run out & we received two incorrect meals, a salad never arrived and on the bill, a charge for an extra drink. The food was fairly good and they quickly removed the additional drink charge (and did not charge for the two incorrect meals - without prompting) but overall, disappointing. Not planning to return at any point.

Always good food and happy service. Lovely Sunday roast and good choice with abundance of fresh veg. The only critiscim is the lack of options for kids. Only serving a Sunday roast. We did ask if we could have sausages in place of beef, but we're told the Sunday menu is set. However, 45 mins later, numerous plates of all day breakfast and chips were taken from the kitchen to the football team. Double standards!

Have been going to this pub for over 30 years and think the recent refurbishment makes a great difference. The local band 24/7 are brilliant and always get everyone dancing so the atmosphere is great. When there on Saturday evening I informed the manager that in the ladies toilets one of the doors had no lock, toilet paper had ran out in others, and there was no soap at the sink I used. Instead of just saying thank you for letting me know and dealing with the issues (which would have been normal customer service) he gestured me to follow him into the toilets, to point out that there was soap on the other sinks (with a 'so what's your problem?' type of attitude), said they knew the lock was broken on one of the other doors, hence it being out of use, but that someone must have broken the lock on the other toilet literally that day (surely you should be checking on maintenance as a matter of course? and seriously, why would someone want part of a door lock?!!) and so what anyway, I was just letting him know it was broken. He was generally very defensive about it all, there was simply no reason for it!

Our first visit on chance and we were not disappointed. Very good choice of small plates although fairly good portion and nicely presented and reasonable prices. Very good service and a good choice of beer, wine & cocktails, fairly lively establishment and we will visit again.

Popped in after an unfortunate experience at another venue in Swindon. This was the perfect tonic, great friendly bar staff willing to offer the specials of the day, which saved us money. Food was great and we wish we’d gone here first. Will be back.

Hats off to Rudis on their update. I haven't been since before Christmas and I am really impressed. Art Deco flows through the decor and the promotions. The outdoor seating is more inviting that it was previously and it has a modern sleek feel. Couldn't stop staring at the lighting and neon 'social' sign on the downstairs wall. Will definitely be coming back soon more glammed up, but will need to remember to bring a big coin purse as the prices are still a little steep.

Went to Rudi's on a quiet Sunday morning and ordered Eggs Royale with a cappuccino, came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Eggs poached to perfection, good quality smoked salmon and wonderful hollandaise sauce. All staff here are friendly and approachable and I cannot fault the place. Top Marks from me.

Love this place. Great atmosphere. Pre booked for Sunday lunch. Added 3 people to the table the day before with no problem. Arrived early, all tables were reserved. We grabbed a drink at the bar, and sat to our table. Great Sunday menu, 4 meat roasts, a fish dish and veggie pie. The roast beef was superb. All the veg was tasty, hot and plentiful. Good value. Two courses for 15 quid. Would highly recommend. But be sure to book!

We went for rinks at the recently refurbished Rudis Bar last week and were pleasantly surprised that Arkles hadn't butchered the place.

Tried out the newly renovated bar with friends. Very busy and bar staff couldn't serve the customers quickly enough....it took 25 mins to get our first drink. There was only one bottle of cold wine (Sauvignon) in the fridge so we asked them to chill more. They weren't able to chill them fast enough so we had to use ice cubes (hate doing this).

The food at Rudi's is excellent. It is very well presented and tastes really good. Customer Service is excellent and timely.

Off the cuff Sunday lunch with the family. Great Sunday roast. The portion sizes were very good, great selection of veg. The kids portion were good. Very impressed from start to finish. Will definitely be returning.

popped in to watch the football, had one pint and left as it was very over priced, were thinking about having lunch in there but that also seemed a lot of money for what was coming out of the kitchen

Stopped here for a burger before the theatre . There was sick under our table which wasn’t a good start. The staff were friendly and the burgers were quiet nice but they need to pay attention to cleanliness.

Used to use the venue a lot because it was great for celiacs to eat. They did go and buy some bread for or breakfast, but when we ordered we could not exchange an item for another with out paying £1.50 extra. Price of breakfast was already £7.50. The baked beans, not included, were not the best quality and if you are going to charge a premium price every thing has to be of a great standard. Used to go and eat on a regular basis but not unless points made are reviewed and changed. Have a wide choice to pick from in Swindon . As with all my reviews, try not to give false feed back but with the new owners running Rudies, think a few tweaks will bring Me back.

After visiting this pub/restaurant we were greeted with a warm welcome from Ryan. We had some drinks and then ordered food. It was a warm day so we sat outside. The food arrived in a short time and was excellent. The customer service was excellent and it was a very enjoyable lunch.

6/8/17 Sunday lunch as family away. Great cooking. The food was served by the manager I was especially impressed by the way he dealt with the Family behind with three children talking kindly to the children and being especially helpful to the parents. The leeks were wonderful I asked the manager how they were done and he got the recipe from the chef and shared it with me. Great service friendly staff would recommend Sunday lunch. Went for breakfast a few months back before this manager was there, I think his name is Andy, and the baked beans were cold! Good job done by this manager I think!

MY partner and i wanted to meet up for a nice breakfast in the town centre,on a tuesday morning,i was on my break from work,so couldnt be too long.

Been coming here for a while just for drinks, recently decided to try the tapas menu, it's very good and authentic, really worth a try. Buy 4 tapas and receive free bread, olives and oil/balsamic dip, the Caribbean jerk chicken bites, patatas bravas, Korean ribs, chorizo in cider, calamari and Moroccan chicken kebabs are amazing and surprisingly filling all washed down with Cornish rattler cider makes it just great. The pub/bar has recently been brought by arkells, just hope it stays with the current winning formula that sets it aside from the rest of town centre!

Had a work lunch to say goodbye to a colleague. Easy to find and get to by foot although parking is near by at regents circus. The food was good hot, tasty and quick service. Will be back definitely . I had good old ham egg and chips which was lovely. Excellent value for money. Staff were great, out waiter ( man with pony tail) was very efficient, polite and attentive with out being intrusive. My one and only adverse comment was we didn't see the specialsavings board till after we had ordered.....may have been useful to have been told about it before taking orders. Otherwise fab, thanks.

Looks can be deceiving from the outside but I can assure you the Sunday roasts that are served here are a delight perfect for a chilled Sunday lunch with a few beers and cocktails if you wish. Good selection of Sunday lunch, yummy puddings and drinks. Would recommend!

Rudi's bar has become one of my favourite places to go in Swindon. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly. I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. This is a really great place to go with friends or just for a quick bite before visiting the cinema.

Booked for 7 of my family before going to the Wyvern Theatre. The service and food was great and although it was very busy we had very good and friendly service. Would recommend very highly.

Today at late notice we booked for 10 people to have a roast At lunchtime. Rudis were very happy to amend the original booking form 3 to 10 no problem. We were greeted by a lovely waitress called kate who was note that happy to accommodate us all. The food was fantastic and for a first roast experience it did not disappointed. We shall definitely be back and thank you. Can't recommend enough and great value.

Rudis bar is a great place to get the night started, it's more up market than the rest of town centre, a good place to head for restaurants or old town. Get the free loyalty card for drinks discounts and food offers, the tapas menu looks great, can't wait to try it. It's become a firm favourite to get things going.

Hired the upstairs function room for a 50th Birthday Party on Friday and overall we all enjoyed ourselves, however there are just a few things that have niggled me:-1) when we arrived we were shown to the function room which was locked up and cold. It would have been nice to have walked into an inviting party room.2) on the website it says included in the price of the £80 hire would be helium balloons. There were no balloons or any decoration of any description and when I asked the reason for this, I was told the inflator had broken that day. Which is ok as these things happen, but when Rudi's are just several minutes away from numerous card shops/pound shops, I feel they could have gone and bought a few balloons and blew them up themselves.3) I dropped a large cake of earlier in the day and informed the staff it was a surprise for the birthday person and could they bring it out later on that night, set up etc. as it had to be removed from the box and have some decorations put on it. None of this was carried out and I had to do this myself and when I asked for plates for our approx. 45 guests, I was told there were none and had to make do with the serviettes on the bar.We've been going to Rudi's for many, many years and really enjoy the bar and the food etc, which is the reason for booking our party there, however, just feel rather disappointed with the lack of effort.

Great evening out with a few friends here. Enjoyed the selection of cocktails available especially the long Island ice tea. The staff are very friendly and great at making recommendations on things to try.

We visited on a rainy Saturday afternoon, after searching online for pubs that had Sky Sports. It was friendly and welcoming, and the lager was good value.

You won't find a better Sunday lunch than Rudi's!A great place to eat any day of the week. The food is excellent and the staff are wonderful. Thank you all.

The owners here are very welcoming and the roast dinner is one of the tastiest in the area. It is a chilled pub with all ages visiting. If you visit on a Friday or Saturday night it has a great atmosphere with a nice outside seating area

We had a very tasty lunch here. It was relatively quiet but that could be because it was a weekday after 2pm and the busy lunchtime "traffic" had gone. The staff were very attentive and pleasant and the food was plentiful and excellent value for money. We will definitely be returning.

As a new swindonian, finding a new local was an absolute priority. I'm glad to say that I think I have found this in Rudis. The bar maid that served me did so with a smile on her face and nothing was too much trouble- didn't catch her name but she had lovely red hair!Kent

We came here for a short stop and have late lunch. Food wasn't nothing special and price quality ratio wasn't good at all. Even Guiness was weak. I think I don't need to come to this place again.

Really lively venue with a pre-club ebullient feel with a clear mix of clientele. It is obviously a popular haunt for many as it was really busy this evening. The diner style bar stools and general layout was a great American touch with a really British atmosphere.The service was absolutely incredible as we were greeted immediately before even entering the building by the doorman who addressed us politely and professionally. The bar staff were welcoming and friendly and accommodated us. The menu has a really broad range of meals but the specials board was really noteworthy and specialised in a range of burgers with a European twist. The French burger was terrific with a hearty burger with camembert and caramelised onions. The sea bass was excellent though the portion was a little small. Really lively atmosphere and a really comfortable hubbub. The waiting staff were consistently polite. The Merlot was excellent though go steady if you're on a budget as each glass is £6.50. This would have to be the fastest venue ever in serving drink and food. The food arrived within five minutes of us ordering it. I was really impressed by this venue and we'll definitely be going again. Really important to note how close it is to the Regent retail centre, the chain eateries, Artspace and the Wyvern Theatre.

Met up with some friends for a get together meal and ended up enjoying this nice little place. Staff were friendly and looked after usFood was good as were the various ales and beers and between the whole group of us, no one had a bad experienceDefinitely would go back

It's a 30 somethings bar with footie popular and outside terrace. does a very good Sunday Lunch for all the family.

We popped in after a show at Meca and I was quite surprised, in fact, delighted by our visit. Great selection of drinks. We managed to get a table, it was comfortable and modern. I'd like to go back soon and bring friends. Nice mix of people, all ages. Prices were average. Nice experience.

Popped in for coffee and catch up with a friend. Ordered tea and coffee both very nice, then we had mineral water (lovely bottles) Asked for the bill three times, when it was presented to me, I said could I please pay as now in bit of a rush and busy, she replied yes so was she...Maybe they were short staffed then, tell you what I won't come back just in case you're still very busy, wouldn't want to interrupt you.

Lovey cocktails served in here. Friendly staff and a good ambience in this bar.Not eaten in here yet but the menu looks nice.

This place is always clean and tidy, very pleasant staff and the beers are well kept. Prices are good for "in town" and their loyalty card is a "must", money off selected drinks. The food here is also generally very good.

We usually pop into Rudi's when we're in Swindon before moving on to the Rendezvous.Staff are always friendly and the wine and cocktails well priced.It's a pleasant place to have a drink and well located for the theatre and nearby cinema.We've visited several times in recent months and have always enjoyed ourselves. There's a good mix of ages too which adds to the relaxed atmosphere.

We love tapas so thought we would give Rudis a try and boy were we glad we did...simply gorgeous food and at a reasonable price.....wold give Los Gatos a run for its money!

I've dropped in here a few times for a drink after shopping. The other bars at this end of Swindon are seedy. Usually it's o.k. with o.k. service and an o.k. selection of wines. Nothing remarkable. I had thought about eating here. That was until I encountered the sneering, rude woman behind the bar who seemed to find everything too much trouble. I wanted to complain to management but had an awful feeling I might have been already dealing with management...That was in December, (I've been meaning to review since then). Hopefully she's gone now and it's escalated back to o.k. and average from the low point of offensive and rude..

Noisy, loads of televisions that nobody seemed to be watching. Beer looked like soup - thank goodness someone ordered it while I was queuing. Service was intrusive and brisk. The beer I drank was OK.

We had a big feast of tapas and steak. Lots of Havana to accompany the food. Great service. Will be back soon to try the specials. Missed out on slow cooked pork belly. Great place to hangout with friends.

Would like to give this place a second review and try. It was too busy we had to go outside in the cold to have our drinks. We didn't have food but will try next time

Popped in here for a drink on Saturday evening.They serve the best Prosecco cocktails, I tried the Lychee one which was delicious.Anyone visiting Swindon should definitely pop in here for a drink or something to eat.

Shared tapas with my partner and it was delicious - would give Los Gatos a run for its money. Staff were great too - highly recommend a visit.
