Rubys Pizza in Bassetlaw

Never had a pizza from here before as we only visit Tuxford monthly and decided to try one , we were absolutely delighted with it, plenty of toppings still hot and a good price too would definitely recommend

said driver had left with plenty of time to be on time but it was half an hour later than expected. food was still warm enough though

horrendous customer service, delivery driver was rude and abusive!! practically threw my cold food at me. don't order from these people as they don't value the customer and overcharge. £50 for two pizzas and stale bag of cheese chips!

As always, food was excellent. Generous portions and piping hot.

The chicken pieces are very good value and quite large - could have done with some napkins. Fast service. Would recommend

Food wasn’t over hot.. which was a shame as I was looking forward to my kebab.. pizza wasn’t cut all the way through.

Food was piping hot when it arrived and really tasty. Plenty of topping on the pizza and the dough was delicious. Chips were lovely and crispy and portion sizes were also generous. Really impressed. Yummy meal :)

Great food and value, delivery bang on time!

Food was excellent. Unfortunately we received a chicken tikka kebab instead of a chicken wrap,m. Delivered slightly early because of a delivery driver breakdown.

First time ordering from here and would certainly order again. Lovely food, very fresh and hot. Salad was fresh and tasty. Delivery was spot on. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend! Many thanks!

Food was nice but not very warm

House sitting for my mum and only had 2 options for a takeaway, ordered a pizza and cheeseburger, both were delicious. Slightly disappointed you don't deliver to where I live!

food was good but i ordered the normal chicken donner and ended up with the chicken tikka

cold food...said they was busy and left out donner meat for one person's food and left them only chips.

Spent £34 on food, we ordered 2 kebabs and chicken and chips for my kid, we didn't receive a kebab, when we called up to ask if they have missed they said they was busy and started getting funny on call, not only that, the chips felt like they've been dipped in cold water before serving it to us, also you could tell it the last kebab to be cut, the driver was cool and the food came in about 40 mins which is okay, but I wouldn't recommend eating here

Spent over 30 pound...delivery driver on time and good but...we opened up our delivery to find that the 2nd portion of donner meat wasn't delivered. We called up and they said they was busy and ran out of meat...fair enough but if that's the case ring the customer...left one of our people with only chips for dinner...food was cold and to be utterly honest a disgrace.

Burnt, thin, smaller than expected, expensive and just very underwhelming. Not good at all. Collection poor because it was ready way before needed. So the pizza was cold

Food is solid. Very tasty. Shame the delivery driver told us not to order so late so he get to bed 😂 as if that’s our fault, sounds like one to take up with the manger. So when ordering from this place expect good food but a complete moron to turn up at your door to deliver it.

burger was very poor quality, as was the chicken burger , the Donna meat was like it was cooked with a hairdryer , garlic mayo had zero taste , all in all very poor food ...

This always happens with Rubys. You get one order and it’s fantastic. Then the next order is below par. I purchased a garlic and herb dip which had a tangy taste which was unpleasant. The chips were soggy and only mildly warm. There was brown lettuce in the chicken burger. We always used to order from Rubys but this began happening. We decided to give it another go. Honestly I wouldn’t waste your money. Especially from a Thursday onwards towards the weekend.

Ordered via food hub for collection 12 inch stuffed crust hot n spicy pizza, and a can of coke £17.10 so the stuffed crust bumped it up £4.50 , can of full fat coke £1.50 food was prepared ontime, and was really nice, this was a random order as my digs were close by. No grease under neath .

Very very good pizzas with excellent choice, only thing I would say is we spent £70 so would maybe have some sort of incentive where when you spend over a certain amount you get something for example a large bottle of drink but no complaints at all about the food it was excellent

Ordered a takeaway through just eat but due to road closure they couldn’t deliver, as I’d already paid they offered to re deliver the next night, this never happened, when I chased it up and requested a refund they agreed, 3 days later and I still hasn’t received refund. When I called the restaurant they were very rude and told me to take it up with just eat which I did, now just eat won’t do anything as it’s been over 24 hours which I think the restaurant owner was aware of and that’s why he kept fobbing me off! Disgusting customer service from both sides and I’ll never order with them or just eat again.

Never received the order, restaurant said they had refunded but they didn’t and when I tried to chase it up they were very rude and aggressive and passed me off to just eat but just eat refused to help as 24 hours had passed

Fantastic food and very quick… way ahead of the estimate! Pizza just about beat me, so will go smaller next time! Great value considering how for it is to deliver!!

Good food. Drink had opened in the bag, and yet was still given to myself. Food 30 mins late by new driver so benefit of the doubt given.

Ordering and delivery was great, unfortunately the food was not as good as we"d hoped. Base seemed undercooked on thin crust pizzas and tomato sauce was unpleasant tasting. Lots of toppings and cheese though, which all seemed fresh.

Lovely pizza, these guys are clearly learning from some earlier reviews as the food quality is getting even better.

Full order was late as order came wrong had to ring restaurant as one of the meals was covered in mayo which was my daughters food. so she had to wait another hour for her food while everyone else was eating totally unfair and my cheesey chips on naan was cold and needed warming up

Not great pizza, as the crusts were overcooked and the base hardly cooked and soggy in the middle. Bitterness of the crust spoilt the rest of the pizza unfortunately

The one worst takeaway I have ever been to not because food wasn’t nice because they way they speak I order one pizza which my kid dad when in and got then got phone call say my delivery here I said I haven’t ordered food for delivery he said the address that was not where near my house and never heard of the place he then shouted saying I am rude and waste there time for it to turn out they put wrong number to the order will never go there again save ur Time go to ruby in ollerton

Gorgeous well cooked pizza with a delicious tomato base. Will definitely be back in the future.
