The clubhouse was quiet with some people having a meal which they seemed to be enjoying and others just having a lunchtime drink. The local people were very friendly and the prices competitive. I enjoyed my visit

My partner has to be gluten free and Leah and staff couldn't do enough for him, this is very rare in most restaurants when we ask about gluten free, whatever he wanted he could have, especially fish and chips, what a treat he had that night, but apart from that the restaurant was excellent and had a good range to choose from, something to suit all, hope this with be good for both Royal Tarlair Golf Club and Leah's, will be back next year. Definitely good value for money and good wholesome food.

Came here for a family meal and was very impressed with the food and the price. 3 courses for £13.95 for Sunday lunch is a winner! Our dishes were all freshly prepared and the chips were a real standout. My only issue was that the sticky toffee pudding was a little on the small side and a bit dense, however it was still very rich and tasty as a sticky toffee pudding should be. We'd certainly all come back to Leah's again!

Brae is close to home, in the village of Chapleton, between Newtonhill & Stonehaven. Popped in just before lunchtime on a Sunday, and received a very warm welcome. I was there to get takeaway goods. Both members of staff encountered were very friendly, and attended to my order in a quick & efficient manner. Hot chocolates and mochas very nice, special praise for the apple crumble cake. Utterly delicious and the dog liked it as well! 😬 Nice decor, it was also very clean. I will happily return again.

What a great little cafe, quite hidden away, in lovely surroundings. It is part of a project to help people with disabilities to develop new skills and find employment so go along for meal or just a drink and some cake and you’ll be helping to support a really worthwhile project

Excellent food, ambient and service. We had Ribs and the Roast with Sirloin. All delicious. The ribs barbecue sauce is particularly special and tasty.
