Food was delicious! Ordered desi pakoras and chicken boti with naan. Munib particularly was very attentive and made our visit today enjoyable.

Attending a large wedding I was uncomfortable with poor standards of food hygiene amongst many of the staff. Trolleys used to deliver food to the dining room were encrusted with food debris. Staff had correctly used latex gloves to transfer food to serving dishes but were still wearing these gloves to push the food trolleys. Most of the waitresses had very long hair which was not covered or fastened back appropriately. I applaud the one young lady who stood out as courteous, clean and tidy. i would not have remained to eat here if I was not a guest.

Visited for the wedding of a work colleague and we found the Royal Taj to be a very pleasant venue - it was clean and well presented. The waiting staff were all very polite and food arrived quickly in large quantities! The chicken for the starter was lovely and cooked very well and I would recommend the potato curry that we were served for our main! I would be happy to attend an event here again

La comida es terrible! - grasienta, pero Samosas más hecho (cortés forma de decir quemada) Kebabs y sin sabor de pescado - correoso pakoras - absolutamente maravilloso. Pescado sabroso, húmedas y bien preparado con una masa hermosas sábanas nuevas. Cordero Masala - gustos muy difícil y duro como carnero? ! Pollo Korma pollo en salsa duros cebolla lo siento pero con la calidad de curry ahora disponible en Bradford, no hay excusa para ir al Royal Taj. Es un derecho real de decepción.

Servicio de atención al cliente muy mala, cosa que no se hizo de acuerdo a nuestro requerimiento. . . Por favor evita este lugar foe se arruinó su boda, de lo contrario su boda. . . Son muy poco profesional. La comida estaba bien, pero todo lo demás era muy mal aseo muy acorde estaban tan sucias todo estaba sucio no AC cubiertos sucios personal todo profesional era muy grosero. . . . Por favor evitar que lugar.. . .

Went to Royal Taj with friends. Normally not a fan of buffet food, but as this place supposedly cooks fresh food regularly, thought would give it a go. We arrived at 6pm. Considering the place opens at 5.30pm all the food on the buffet was not even ready. We sat there for 30 minutes before the food was available. The waiter was polite and kept us updated. After all that wait we expected better food. Was very mediocre. After paying the bill. We realised that we had been charged a £100 extra. The girl at the till was nice about the situation. She said she would get the Manager to sort it out and refund us straight away. The Manager/Owner was a right imbecile. Not once did he apologise. Instead had a go at the girl at the till for making him come out of his office. We sat there for 45 minutes. While he looked for his chip & pin card. Finally he processed the refund. Not once was he friendly or apologiesd. Very very poor service.

We are asian wedding planning company , and we travel around the country to many locations in London Birmingham and Manchester , wedding venues at Hilton , Marriott ,hotels , Dorchester London , csn etc , having tasted food from around the country at top hotels at asian weddings . I must say Bradford wedding food is the best in taste , seems like they know how to cook authentic Asian food better than anywhere else , I have had opportunity to eat at the royal taj Bradford and it was a good experience the food was excellent and tasted great, the starters where perfect , so I would recommend taj food Please note I haven't tried the buffet food so can't say much but the buffet itself , as I have only had wedding food in the banquting hall but I assume it all made in the same kitchen so hence the food upstairs in the buffet should taste just as good , However planning to take my family sometime soon to try the buffet as I really loved Thier food at the venue so wish me luck :)

It is a well decorated place and me very well up and that's where it all stops as the food is below average the food dose not complement the decor to put it straight

Ordered from here last night and i was not dissapointed and most definately the best sheekh kebab i have eaten it was tasty, juicy and very meaty, plenty of fresh salad and dips. I also ordered a murgh karahi which was just as good. This is definitely in my top 5 for takeaways and would order again.

Four of us booked a table here tonight courtesy of a Pulse £40 voucher which we declared when booking. Lovely big place with parking outside. The main restaurant is upstairs and downstairs looks ready for weddings/functions. So far so good. We were shown to a table and everyone was polite. There was plenty food, hot and very tasty. Still going well. The hubby ordered a strawberry lassi which took about twenty mins to arrive. The big dining room was a bit chilly but I would not mark it down on that. However the ladies loos and the corridor leading to them was shabby with marks on the walls - not very pleasant. But the final insult was the cost of the buffet showing as £9.99 on the website suddenly became £11.99 each on payment just because we had a voucher. This is not made clear on either the voucher or the website. As a matter of principle I would not visit here again. Manager called but they would not budge. Paid and left. Shame!

Floor was so dangerous, son did a moon walk because floor was so slippery, son slipped in toilets fell on his bum. Zero customer service, food was cold uneatbeatable, what was worse most pots were empty. Charged £50 should have been £10 in total. Never go there AGAIN

Today we went there,the ground floor was deserted,followed by a small note that the restaurant is upstairs ,lots of stairs to climb (not easy for ppl with mobility issues),no body was there to greet us at the reception,they were not sure where to offer us to sit finally we decided to sit on a one of a side table,again no one was there to sign post to plates or food,when we went to get our food most of the dishes were empty and no one was there to check,the food wasn't fresh nor tasty, only when we asked for a jug of water the waitress brought it but otherwise didn't wait to take any order for the beverage. While I was getting a main course,the lid of one of the dishes came straight down; hit the plate and the food went all over the place even on my outfit,one of the staff came ( he was probably the manager) only offered me a couple of tissues and went,no apologies or any discount were offered,finally the dessert had no taste at all actually they were putting cheap cash and carry ice cream tubs to serve the ice cream in though we didn't even tried the ice cream. Over all whole experience was bad,the atmosphere wasn't friendly or appealing,none of us will ever go there again. They don't even bother to change the fresh flowers( they were wilted and had actually died) at the reception which were right in front of them (pls see the pic). Lots and lots of improvement needed for this place to make it at least average.

Superb evening out. Lovely home style Indian cooking. Plenty of different dishes to choose from, even if you're not a fan of curry. Pasta, pizza Chinese are on offer although not as many dishes. Lovely desserts too.

We visited as a group of four, the restaurant is decorated very nice & lovely & clean The starters were average, Pakoras, Kebabs, Chicken Tikka etc The main courses were not to our liking, no Korma or Masala as advised on their website, apart from the Chilli Chicken I did not recognise the names of the curries, few were on the bone which is fine but we ended up picking small bone bits from our plate, the lamb curry was lovely but I only managed to get the sauce as the lamb had been eaten. There were some puddings but I did not try them. The price for the buffet was £9.95 per person but when I presented my voucher for £40 I was told that I should be charged £12 per person, so if you have a voucher from the Pulse for £40 be prepared to argue your case. Also just to make people aware they do not serve alcohol here nor can you take your own. Did not bother me but maybe some it might. In short it was not one of the best buffets I've been too nor would I go back after been ripped off £8 just for using a voucher.

Very nice food and service. Lots of variety, really good value. You won't be disappointed. Good Saturday meal out.

When we arrived at the upstairs restaurant we were shown to a window table.We asked about ordering Mocktails but we unable to as they had run out of syrups.We went and helped ourselves to starters which were hot tasty and freshly prepared.Next we had main courses again excellent and lots of choice. Then to desserts which were disappointing some Gateau,jelly,Halwa and Kheer. All in all we enjoyed our time at Royal Taj and will come back again soon.

This is a buffet restaurant. Starters are nice especially the fish pakoras . Main dishes are ok pizza chips plenty salad. Very poor desserts this lets it down in a big way. Paying £11 plus drinks ok maybe.

Excellent hospitality from staff and a smart manager and best food i ever have in Bradford . Very reasonable price and bis variety of food. Recommended to all food lovers

We had booked a table for iftari for 3 and on arrival first impression was, okay it's big, the decor is really nice/ elegant. We went up the stairs and at first felt a bit lost because there isn't anyone there to greet you ( probably because it's new). Anyway, then we went to the bar and spoke to a young girl who was really helpful and took us to our table. Our drinks order was taken and given pretty quick and we were told about the buffet, which I think a lot of restaurants seem to forget to do. Just before opening our fasts we were given a plate of dates, which to be honest I thought was okay but missed 'that little extra mile' you would do if you are newly opened. The buffet selection was big, there were at least 50 different dishes which really was good, and the different dishes showed that care and attention to detail had been put into each and every one when preparing. There was a good variety of starters, main and deserts. All the dishes were a nice warm temperature (not too hot not too cold) just right for you to eat. The staff were really helpful, whilst we were eating we were asked on many occasions if everything was okay and if we needed anything, also the used dishes were taken away in a good time frame which we didn't feel the staff are trying to get 'rid' of us. What I would say to customers is that take cash with you too, because when we went they did not have a card machine and it was a good job I had cash. However, I think this was due to the fact that they had newly opened. Overall, I would recommend and go again in a couple of months just because it was a nice relaxing 'family meal', the atmosphere was ok maybe a bit quiet but with it being fasting season it is expected, it was really nice.

Called around 8pm Saturday evening. The place was quite busy with families. We were greeted by manager and were offered a table in two minutes. Very good service from the staff. Food was fresh and excellent. Well priced for the quality of the food we had in the buffet. Altogether an exceptional food, environment and service. Would highly recommend.

First visit at Royal Taj. We booked the table for 7.30pm but had to wait 45 minutes for the table. It was very busy though. Service was very slow. Most of the buffet dish was empty. Food wasn't that good as we expected. Starter was nice. Most of the main courses were not hot. Only enjoyed the Lamb curry. I can understand that it's hard to maintain when it's so busy. Restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. We will try another time after ramadan in sha Allah.
