Can be a bit hit and miss depending on what you order, we find if you avoid anything with beef and the starters you're generally good (the duck starter is good). Some good tasty dishes but the inconsistency based on your selection means it's 3 stars. Stick by my rules and you'll be good.

Ordered a takeaway 14/10/23 at 7.30pm to be delivered. They said it would be 1hr wait. After repeatedly chasing, food finally arrived at 9.30pm cold. What a waste of £50 never again

Great customer service, staff really friendly. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and the food was really lovely. Would recommend anyone to try Chans Kitchen the next time you're in Bingley

Great food and quick delivery. Their crispy seaweed is the best round as its not too salty. Have used many times and have not been let down yet. Beef in Black bean sauce and sesame chicken are favourites, and the dumplings are amazing, but be prepared to wait extra time for them. Always friendly delivery drivers.

Worst take away EVER - found a piece of plastic 20mm long in my food and they refused me a refund & told me to contact Just Eat as it wasn't their problem!! Customer Service was awful as they kept shouting across the kitchen at each other and finally put the phone down on me. Don't WASTE your money unless your happy eating plastic!!!!

Ordered 1/4 crispy duck and received a small tub of all I could describe it as scrap ends ! Not enough to fill 6 pancakes and cost me £10.50 ! I called to complain and was faced with people shouting in the back ground - asked for a new portion to be sent but because they were busy that was not an option ! Absolutely disgusting customer service - the excuse was ‘that’s the duck that the suppliers sent!. Livid !!! Also ordered crispy beef and the tub was 3/4 full ! Over £3 for chips and smallest bag ever ! Never again !

Ordered crispy beef in chilli sauce and crispy salt and pepper chicken and ribs. It all came swimming in watery unflavoured sweet and sour sauce. Was horrible. Curry sauce wasn’t nice either.

Been ordering from Chans since before the new ownership , probably since before I was born . This is my favourite place for food and they make me happy every time and their food is always perfect and super good . They even gave us a Christmas present this year , think me may order too much food 😳🤭but this is my favourite food place and I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone I know . Their customer service is amazing and we’re ordering again tonight . We love Chans in our household and so do our family we have it whenever they come over .

I recently ordered never had any issues always on time and goid food. but I ordered a curry sauce the tub it came in had a dint in it but I didn't realise there was a hole the sauce leaked out on my hand it was red hot when I phoned to tell them they wasn't even interested it could have been worse and caused some serious damage

9/10 it is late, nice food though.

This used to be a good chinese - standards have dropped recently however and my last 3 orders have been poor - I won't be ordering here again. This time overcooked chips and crispy wantons (meant to be prawn but some unidentifiable meat substitute). Chicken and green pepper in blackbean sauce was watery with little taste and no chili - used to be rich and flavoursome with a nice chili kick. Topped off with a lovely warm can of coke. Has the chef changed? Sort yourselves out guys and if you don't have the item ordered, don't substitute with a poor quality alternative.

We ordered over 33 pounds of food for collection, first the girl on the phone did not know the items on the menu and after she tried to over charge by 10 pounds, good job we checked, We had to explain the items and prices according to the takeaway menu. Once we had collected the food, (should have checked before we left) we had all items, A full meal was missing when we rang back to say I would pick it up, I was almost told she thought I lied about not having the meal. The meal was a quarter crispy Duck with pancakes, there was nearly not enough for one pancake, it was not crispy and very greasy,I was told that was all there is, I will never use this takeaway again which is a real shame as we tended to go at least every six weeks to a month and never had a problem before.

Not everybody wants to order a family meal.Unless you spend over £20 they charge £4 which considering i am only 3 miles away seems like a rip off.

Excellent food which was piping hot. The quality was good. Delivery was a little over when expected, hence one star dropped. Very pleased with the service.

Chan's have never let us down. Consistent, quick and tasty

Have been a long time supporter of the place. Love the food, but found a foreign object in my food the other day and the customer service was poor. At first they were completely willing to help and did not say much to apologise, but did call back to apologise and offer a refund claiming they were busy. Which could have been said instead of being rude. Not sure I'd go back as while they did make amends no responsibility was taken and very little interest was shown in trying to figure out what happened.

Freezing cold, portion size was tiny and rude staff. I contacted the restaurant first to advise I was unhappy and was told they could do nothing. Please do not order from here because the food is the biggest insult to Chinese cuisine. Awful food and even worse customer service.

Ordered food from Chan's, as we do most weeks, and the food is good. This time, however, the food was left outside in the rain, getting cold and wet. No one knocked to say it had arrived, no one called to say that either. So as a result, read the reviews on Chan's because it seems to be a recurring theme. Food is usually good, but the service is worse than terrible, especially leaving it in the cold rain without letting the customer know. If Chan's got this part right, more people would be happier.

Rang twice, they couldn’t get the details right either time. Ended up hanging. How difficult is it to take down name and address. Useless

Good menu choices, better than some of the other takeaways in the Bingley area! Can be a bit pricy compared to others but on the whole the meals are good and tasty!

We chose this takeaway as it had a 4* hygiene rating, however we found a long black hair in our duck in plum sauce which was really concerning in the current virus spreading climate. Really dissapointed. Apart from that, the flood was nice.

Had delivery from chans arrived in about 20 minutes from ordering chicken curry chips soft noodles curry was lovely taste enough chips for about 3 people cost about £14 which included £3 delivery cheaper of course if you pick up but if you can't treat yourself once in a while why not !

Pretty fast service, Food decent and reasonably priced

Not bad if you are hungry plus they deliver. There is better locally. Their curries are a little runny for my liking & they don't taste as good as my usual takeaway. The salt & pepper chicken is ok though.

Horrified after the vegetarian spring rolls I ordered had chicken in them! When I rang up to complain I was very disappointed that the situation was not dealt with at all. I appreciate that mistakes can happen but reading out the ingredients for what is in the vegetable spring rolls does not alter the fact that I was sent the chicken ones. Lost a long time customer. What a shame.

Complete waste of time! I gave full detailed directions to my front door with my order but, even after 5 minutes on the phone with the driver, still no food. To me therefore Chan's Kitchen are totally useless but fortunately we have plenty of good restaurants to choose from here.

The best, and crucially, the most ethical takeaway restaurant of Chinese origin for miles around. Food's nice too. I recommend the noodle hot box with some enormous spring rolls.

Hello we have just ordered food from chans paying £20 and it was horrible I ail never come again the food tasted watery and horrible the chicken.chow main was not how I like it.

I use this takeaway usually once a week, lazy cooking days. The food is quite good & almost always ready for me at the quoted pickup time. Under normal conditions, the suggested pickup time is amazingly fast. Handy, fast & moderatly price food. What more can one ask for? Fits the bill beautifully.

Worst Chinese takeaway I have had. Prawn toast appeared to be thin on prawns so decided to cut 3 pieces in half, there didn’t appear to be any prawn on the toast, just a light sprinkling of sesame seeds. Other starters were awful, tasted of old oil that needed changing. Main courses were tasteless as were sauces ordered as extras. Most of the food went in the bin.

Made an order on just eat , order came 10 minutes late.. when the order did come they had missed the chips off my order. When I tried ringing up to ask for them to bring them it took 10 minutes to get through before a man working there told me that it was ‘too busy’ to bring my chips, and that if I wanted them back I would have to walk to go get them when I ordered for delivery! I then explained that I wasn’t going to walk because I had asked for delivery so he then said well we are too busy to come give you them. Wouldn’t mind but he had no intention of sorting it out

The food from here actually isn’t that bad, but the delivery drivery is so very rude and insulting, he also called me a liar because I said he had called my phone just as I had sat down to eat, he aid he hadn’t (he did) but apparently they don’t lie to their customers but we lie to them. Disgraceful customer service. Will not order from here again for that reason alone!

Called up to place an order for delivery. The member of staff who answered the phone refused to take my order and claimed that someone from this address had refused to pay for a meal. (I have always payed in full) Staff need to undergo a lengthy course on customer service as accusing a customer without any grounds is completely out of sorts.

The delivery driver overcharged us by £1 on 2 occasions, so we thought we'd see what happened the 3rd time (wondering if we'd just got confused with delivery charges). We made sure we asked for the price when we placed the order and if that included delivery. The (same) driver overcharged us by £1 again so we rang the takeaway to complain. We then got a super threatening and aggressive call from the driver himself, who in our opinion; was being completely defensive due to awareness of his actions. He'd make a fair few extra quid if he pulled that trick each night. Either way, our complaint was handled terribly. Unacceptable.

Found a nice long hair in my salt and pepper chicken! Won't refund me as I payed through just eat. It's bank holiday, and I have to wait for it to go back in my bank! Not happy at all £17 order in the bin

Having had a few bad experiences here, they've been under new management for a little while now. Since this has happened the change has been amazing. They have got all our orders right & served is with great customer service. The good is also better. I would highly recommend the noodle boxes! So much meat & vegetables - they're virtually enough for two! Other items on the menu have also massively improved. Highly recommended!

I'd placed an order via Just Eat but hadn't received confirmation so rang the shop. They spent time tracking the order down, found I'd mistakenly used next day's date on the order and sorted it out for me, ringing me to let me know what had happened and then delivering the order really promptly. The food was good and they'd really gone the extra mile with the service

I go here about once a year and remember after every visit why I don't go more often. Everything tastes like it's been cooked in old, stale oil and the meat is always chewy. I can't remember a time I've had food from here and not had bad guts afterwards.

The most disgusting Chinese I’ve ever had. Ordered smoked chicken starter and Szcheun chicken.... starter was just soggy fried chicken in sweet and sour sauce, Main came in exactly same sweet and sour sauce with no veg - never would I go back nor recommend , if I could drive I would have gone back to demand money back

Ordered spare ribs, chicken fried rice and chips. The spare ribs were edible, the chips okay but the rice was disgusting. I have never ever had rubbery fried rice before in my life and it is not something I'd want anyone to eat. Rang them back and complained, argued with me and said he wouldn't give me my money back but would give a discount next time. Well I am not going to you ever again. There has been other low reviews and I thought I'd see for myself what they're like. Bad decision. I do not reccomend this takeaway at all

I ordered the Fried Chicken with Salt & Chilli tonight and rang back later after finding I had been sent king prawns instead of chicken. Not a problem, mistakes happen, but when I called up to notify them of this these are some of the extraordinary things the manager on the other end of the phone said to challenge me:

As this is a takeaway fast food establishment I don't expect restaurant standard food. Service is very good especially on phone orders and fod generally ready on arrival.

We have given on ordering from here as they constantly get the orders wrong and use the excuse that they are too busy to resolve the error. They even have the bare faced cheek to ask for extra payment for items already paid for to redeliver. We have given them the benidit of the doubt for too long and feel bad as we have recommended them in the past to friends who have since had similar problems.There are many, much better food delivery establishments in the area to choose from.

We ordered from here for the first time and I think in terms of Chinese takeaways in this area, this one is the positive side of average. We ordered delivery and the food came quickly and was still hot (always a plus)The chips were good, dishes good sized portions and the food was tasty. I am always impressed to see tofu on a menu (why don't more places do it?!) and the sauces were good. The prawn crackers were particularly nice: crispy without being too greasyOverall I was happy with this and will order again. Having only ordered once and seen reviews saying hit and miss, maaybe I am just lucky so it would be interesting to see if they can keep to this consistently.

we've tried probably every Chinese for a five mile radius and stuck with Chans for a year or two as theirs was by far the best food however they've slipped over the last year or so, it seams to be a common link with other places but when you see a fairly swift turn over in staff you wonder why.They are always super quick, it takes me five mins to drive there after phoning in my order and the 4 meals are always bagged up and waiting for me which did make me wonder how much of it is genuinely freshly prepared, as you can only see a little of the kitchen through the doorway I guess ill never know.The thing that really lets them down are the chip, you get a huge portion but there soggy and almost double the price of the local fish shops of which I pass two on my return trip so tend to get rice with the meal and grab a few bags of chips on my way past.We've also had a few Beef in OK sauces of late that seem to be to a different recipe and not as nice as in the past, maybe its time to shop around again and see if any of the others in the area have improved.

Use Chans approx once a week. food is usually good, but does vary. Tried lemon chicken this week, sauce (in seperate tub) was very watery, spare rib starter had little meat, chips are also the cheaper thin type, as opposed to chunky chips that many other chinese takeaways use.

Good food but don't bother trying to make a telephone order.They put you on hold when you first call and even put you on hold mid-call making ordering frustrating.We have given up with them now after having incorrect food delivered on the last three occasions. They even sent the wrong order twice last time when we rang to complain.This used to be probably the best chinese take-away in Bingley but they are obviously now far too busy to focus on getting delivery orders right.
