OMG!! What a legend is Naz!! First time coming to Fortune Cookie and the man was so polite, respectful and his recommendations were spot on. This man knows how to hit the spot!! As a result of how good this food was I felt it was my duty to leave this review and thank him so much. Fortune is so lucky to have someone like him working for them. I genuinely felt like I was eating in the streets of Hongcun. I remember eating at Shabby’s one of the street food vendor’s in Hongcun and this was in the same category, if not better!! Thanks so much guys I have finally broken my Fortune V and you guys have gained a customer for life!! If you’re looking for a good Chinese halal in Bradford this is the place. The salt and pepper box is off the hook. Forgot to mention the chow mein. Trust I can’t move after I’ve eaten as end up eating more then I was supposed to. The brothers at the till what top guys always smiling and having a joke. Love respect.

Very bad food and customer service. I ordered combo meal which was chicken wings, prawns and squid. Over cooked food. Rang up to complaint and was said because of bird flu the quality of wings is not good. I did complaint about to them about an incident where a white man was very rude to me outside and the Asian lad just stood there and watched. This so called guy who answered my complaint put phone down because he wasn’t happy that i was upset and I won’t attend this takeaway gain. Very bad service

Authentic delicious food at its FINEST, a must have on the weekends or any other day. I have been going here since I was a kid and the people and food are absolute quality no place like it! Best authentic food in the whole of West Yorkshire. 10/10👌🏼 The food is mouth watering delicious hot and fresh always. The food portions are very generous as well definitely worth the money. Food is good and tasty but please be aware the fish they serve is CATFISH type is pangasius. For some Muslims this is not Halal so best to make sure if you are allowed to eat this type of fish or not.

Absolutely love this place, the best example of a british chinese that is also fully halal that ive ever had. My wife and i drive up from Sheffield every couple of weeks and it never dissapoints. Every item on the menu is cooked fresh, nothing ever tastes stale or from the day before as is the case with similar establishments. Even when you ask for a sauce they cook it there and then and serve it to you, could easily get away with having these pre done but freshness seems to be top priority here. Keep it up guys credit to the owners this place is quality!!!!!

I just get the salt and pepper wings and chips so can't really comment on the full menu. But what I do order has never been a let down. Unfortunately no delivery and not much space to sit down and each as only a few seats but I always takeout anyway.

Fortunes has absolutely won me over! Not only was the food incredible, but the customer service, especially from Kammy, was outstanding. From start to finish, Kammy was so friendly, attentive, and made sure my order was perfect. It’s rare to find such a personal touch with takeaway service, and it really made the experience special. The food itself was amazing. The Kung Pao Chicken was packed with flavor, perfectly spiced, and the peanuts added a great crunch. The Special Fried Rice was cooked to perfection, full of fresh vegetables and tender meat. The Salt and Pepper Ribs were a highlight—succulent, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious.

From walking in to walking out the service is 10/10 didn’t know what to get and were told a variety of great option really friendly get down here.

Highly recommend as the food and customer service was spot on. Kind and humble people.

Weekend isn’t complete without a visit to Fortune Cookie for salt and pepper chicken wings and chips. As always, food is on point and scrumptious. Prices are very reasonable. Portion sizes are very generous so you may want to share (even if you don’t want to!). Service is excellent and you are warmly welcomed with a smile by the staff (thanks Kammy) and you don’t wait long for your order.

Haven’t been for a few years, so was very excited. Great food, enjoyed the meal and love the team. Slight mixup with the order on our part, but it was sorted without any issues or questions. Cash only still, but it’s worth it! Was told 10 minutes, it was ready on time and there was even a parking bay outside.

Always 10/10 from fortune. Went it last night got a few combo boxes but I forgot to add some extras on. Spoke with the team and they sorted it out for me even though it was my error. Food always packs flavour, portion sizes amazing and the best place for salt and pepper. Will be back thank you!

Every time I eat from this fine establishment, I feel like I'm ruling with the emperor. The food makes me want to do 10 laps across the Great Wall of China! Highly recommended if you would like the taste of Asia. You get the best of both Asian fusion.

This place is great if your exclusive criteria for "good" food is Halal produce. In context of any other Chinese food we found this place poor. Staff were polite and helpful. The place seems clean and well managed. Salt and pepper dishes were drowned in dried chilli flakes and lack authentic seasoning. No sign of fresh produce such and green chilli or spring onion. Just peppers and white onion. Curry sauce is clearly made of supermarket paste. We personally will not be in a rush to return but understand that due to cultural restrictions this may appeal to some.

Always great service, the lads look after you and food is faultless and to perfection.
