Absolutely love this place, the best example of a british chinese that is also fully halal that ive ever had. My wife and i drive up from Sheffield every couple of weeks and it never dissapoints. Every item on the menu is cooked fresh, nothing ever tastes stale or from the day before as is the case with similar establishments. Even when you ask for a sauce they cook it there and then and serve it to you, could easily get away with having these pre done but freshness seems to be top priority here. Keep it up guys credit to the owners this place is quality!!!!!

I just get the salt and pepper wings and chips so can't really comment on the full menu. But what I do order has never been a let down. Unfortunately no delivery and not much space to sit down and each as only a few seats but I always takeout anyway.

The food was amazing. 10/10 to say they was busy they managed the orders very well. The food came out piping hot and fresh. The food portions were big and definitely worth the money. The owner was friendly respectful. Thank you for an amazing experience. Will definitely be recommending you guys to friends and family.

Fortunes has absolutely won me over! Not only was the food incredible, but the customer service, especially from Kammy, was outstanding. From start to finish, Kammy was so friendly, attentive, and made sure my order was perfect. It’s rare to find such a personal touch with takeaway service, and it really made the experience special. The food itself was amazing. The Kung Pao Chicken was packed with flavor, perfectly spiced, and the peanuts added a great crunch. The Special Fried Rice was cooked to perfection, full of fresh vegetables and tender meat. The Salt and Pepper Ribs were a highlight—succulent, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious.

Weekend isn’t complete without a visit to Fortune Cookie for salt and pepper chicken wings and chips. As always, food is on point and scrumptious. Prices are very reasonable. Portion sizes are very generous so you may want to share (even if you don’t want to!). Service is excellent and you are warmly welcomed with a smile by the staff (thanks Kammy) and you don’t wait long for your order.

From walking in to walking out the service is 10/10 didn’t know what to get and were told a variety of great option really friendly get down here.

Haven’t been for a few years, so was very excited. Great food, enjoyed the meal and love the team. Slight mixup with the order on our part, but it was sorted without any issues or questions. Cash only still, but it’s worth it! Was told 10 minutes, it was ready on time and there was even a parking bay outside.

I ordered a wings and chips medium - hot spiced and boy must I say, these are the best wings & chips in Bradford, hands down. Would definitely recommend. 5 stars most definitely.

Always 10/10 from fortune. Went it last night got a few combo boxes but I forgot to add some extras on. Spoke with the team and they sorted it out for me even though it was my error. Food always packs flavour, portion sizes amazing and the best place for salt and pepper. Will be back thank you!

Every time I eat from this fine establishment, I feel like I'm ruling with the emperor. The food makes me want to do 10 laps across the Great Wall of China! Highly recommended if you would like the taste of Asia. You get the best of both Asian fusion.

Visited this place yesterday usually go to Leeds but decided to go here as last time I visted this place was at the relaunch but wasn't happy so thought give them another try was impressed food was luvly and really enjoyed it the staff were 10/10 Thank you

The team down at FC was nothing but welcoming and accommodating. Food was very tasty. Just take cash with you or there’s a cashpoint around the corner.

This place is great if your exclusive criteria for "good" food is Halal produce. In context of any other Chinese food we found this place poor. Staff were polite and helpful. The place seems clean and well managed. Salt and pepper dishes were drowned in dried chilli flakes and lack authentic seasoning. No sign of fresh produce such and green chilli or spring onion. Just peppers and white onion. Curry sauce is clearly made of supermarket paste. We personally will not be in a rush to return but understand that due to cultural restrictions this may appeal to some.

I ordered the salt and pepper wings/chips was lit perfect munchy food very flavourful and a huge portion. Also I received a very warm greeting/service from the staff i mentioned to Boss man it was my first time ordering food there. After which he was kind enough to add a complimentary drink and 2 fortune cookies to my order free of charge overall a great experience I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a high quality Chinese takeaway.

Decided to try this place out after a recent viral TT from an influencer who usually gets it right. She said to give these guys a go after they had been shut for a few months so I did just that... The salt and pepper chips were good but nothing out of the ordinary... chips fried in onion, peppers and chilli flakes... it's not ground breaking. Authentic Chinese eateries do these so much better. Not to mention the curry sauce was a rip off price of £3!!!! Also got the "salt and pepper chicken strips" which are pictured. I can't describe how disgusting these were. The chicken was not flavoured and neither was the batter used to fry them... absolutely no taste of salt and pepper seasoning. To make matters worse the chicken was all weirdly shaped (NOT STRIPS), and the actual meat was grey, hard and tough... Ordered another dish which was just salty beyond measure. The staff are respectful and kind but i'm sorry the food is abysmal. Please save your time and money and DO NOT GO HERE.

The wings were perfectly seasoned, and the king prawns were crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. Even as a takeaway, the food arrived nice and warm, and the spice level was spot on. The portions were massive—definitely more than enough to satisfy! To top it off, the staff was super friendly and threw in free drinks, making the whole experience even better.
