Royal Spice and Burger in South Gloucestershire

I loved my lamb dhansak and my children loved their chicken Kormas. Lots of really nice meat and they were probably the best curries we've had in a long time. My wife's Biryani was also good but like most places it really could do with more sauce. The peshawari naan's weren't very tasty and the sag paneer wasn't to our taste. We'll definitely be back but will probably try a different naan and side next time.

Overall a good experience, delivered early (that’s a first) and having tried both curry’s, chicken tikka korma was one of best I’ve had, however the lamb tikka was not so good and a little tough. Edible though and garlic chill sauce was absolutely fine! Would order again 👍

Food is amazing! Although 10 mins late, we had pre-ordered at about 3pm. They were apologetic, and the food was so good it was worth the wait.

We've driven past here lots, and tonight we ordered a delivery as its "the local" nowadays. You know what it was actually really nice we enjoyed the food. It was lovely. But my son commented it was as good as its local competition.. we still enjoyed it, no hair, tasted good. Fancy a nap now, rather tired after all the food.

Curry tastes amazing. Especially the tikka masala. could just do with a few more minutes cooking on the chicken but that’s being super critical. Never had a bad order from here and they deliver to us too.

Had been looking forward to a curry all day, but unfortunately had a chicken dansak which should be of a (medium spice) but was so hot 🔥 i was unable to eat it which ruined it for me 😪 . Cant fault any of the other food we had tonite my partner enjoyed hers ....

Food was super quick, very fresh tasting ingredients, nicely spiced. Very nice. The only thing wrong was a missing nan bread, a pain but didnt effect the quality.

First time ordering a take away from royal spice, it was delivered as near to my preferred time, which was great considering England were playing. The food was superb best take away I have ever had, and I have had quite a few, lovely pieces of chicken breast, tender and good size portions, no grease in the sauces which was great, bhaji were good and crispy, Bombay potato was excellent couldn’t fault the food at all.

Food was lovely but was ready 20mins before arranged collection time

I ordered online from here once and it was amazing so I decided to get it again. I paid in cash with £20 as my order was around £17. The driver took the money, didn't offer change and left. As well as that, when I started eating, I noticed a thick black hair inside my food. So not only was I down money, but I also had to throw the food away. I am very disappointed and would no longer recommend as the service, food safety and hygiene was appalling

Wow, wow, wow, I heard great reviews about this place, so glad I gave them a try, absolutely fantastic, bhaji’s, rice, bread & most importantly of all the curries, tikka masala, jaipuri, dansak, all amazing, will definitely return, highly recommend, top class Indian cooking.

We made our first order yesterday, ordered lamb biryani, lamb madras , rice , keema nan and bombay aloo, and it did not disappoint, we will be ordering more from this place. The spice kick was good. Updated review. No change to my views and opinions. In the time since I last ordered and thats a real positive. This time ordered collection online and again , food ready as I entered. Original review below. I placed a telephone order for collection and was told within half an hour for pick up. I arrived slightly earlier and on entering the staff were very polite. The takeaway itself was clean to a very high standard. The meal was on time. The food was cooked to a very high standard , all items correct. I went for onion bhaji, a chicken dhansak with extra chilli, vegetable rice and a peshawar naan. I couldn't fault it. Highly recommended and I hope this takeaway gets the footfall it deserves.

This place is bloody lovely, don't let the outside sway you, we live around the corner and always order from their website, they offer great discounts and loyalty points, food is fabulous and they are super friendly to boot, they deserve all the success from this so please, if you are in our area, order!! Not had a good indian meal for a long time. This was brilliant and great to add things for the Kids.

Food from here was exceptional my new go to indian, not just your typcal meat and sauce has lots of added ingredients.

I made an online order for the butter paneer and saag aloo. The order was ready to go when I arrived at my time slot and the person who served me was lovely. Unfortunately for me I made the error of believing the butter paneer would be similar to how butter chicken is made- a delicious creamy red mild sauce. This version of it however is not that, it is a very buttery and coconut flavoured dish. Which is not my thing at all. I couldn’t eat it. The saag aloo was good however. Just be careful what you order and read their menu throughly.

Lovely food again. Ordered for the in-laws visiting and they loved it too. Poppadoms as crispy and fresh as you could want for, good-sized portion of onion bhajis (and nice, crispy salad), and tasty mains (lamb dhansak and chicken tikka masala)..

It took a long time to get my food, when it was finally delivered it was stone cold, I had a message to say my order was on its way, the restaurant is 5 minutes away and it took 25 minutes that’s why it cold not happy.

Poppadoms fresh and crisp. Good size portion of onion bhajis - three medium-sized round bhajis. Lamb Dhansak hot and sweet with a good level of heat. Lamb was tender and sauce thick with whole lentils. Recommended.
