Many’s Fish Bar and Chinese Takeaway in South Gloucestershire

Wouldn't give this place 1 star if I ad my way couldn't leave a review without it came here for the first time orderd all was ok then the delivery driver who works here packed up the food after sneezing all over it continued to pack up someone's order and delivery it soon asked for my money back be warned when you're eating you're food tonight 15/10/24 he sneezed all over you're food did not wash hes hands will never step foot in here again there absolutely descusting vile 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤢

Very busy with a 25 minute wait ( it was Saturday evening). Which is a good sign, shows it’s popular. I noticed portions of chips were large too. Food was ok but we like ours hot and spicy so the Hot and spicy chicken was a bit of a disappointment as it was very mild. Plenty of chicken though it was all a bit soft and my wife asked if I had ordered Tofu? Not too expensive. 3 different dishes ( no rice) and I had a bit of change from £20. Parking is odd as you have to park behind the buildings and walk through an alley which was full of litter and waste food. Might be a bit intimidating in the dark.

I ordered a chicken chowmein last week and it came cold with a hair as well🤢🤢. I chucked it in the bin. Just wanted a nice takeaway after work. Definitely never coming back.

This Chinese takeaway is probably one of the best in the area.Food is spot on and we'll worth the visit.

I've ordered from Manys several times now. The food always arrives quickly, hot and delicious. They use lovely fresh vegetables in their vegetable curry. I won't use another Chinese takeaway now.

Unfriendly bunch I just wanted some Chinese and service so bad just go to the nicer fortune house next do

Always go here for a cheap and cheerful chinese. Love their chicken chow mein, so much more flavourful than some places. Cannot fault the ef rice either, especially for the price. Despite having a 3 star hygiene rating, we have never had a bad meal!

Ordered the duck chow main and sweat sour pork Chinese style. Very tasty and big portions, cannot fault at all. I have been ordering from manys for years and never had a problem with their service. Would 100% recommend!

It's pretty sad so many of the online reviews are bad! Been my local Chinese since birth and I'm always disappointed when I go somewhere else. The food is good, cheap and you get so much for your £££. Staff are also lovely and always courteous. The store itself is always busy, especially on the weekend, which I think says something for it's local popularity!

by far the worst chinese i have ever had, got my order wrong and when i phoned to tell them the lady started laughing! special Szechuan was horrible with hardly any flavour was just like meat, onion and some chilli seeds boiled in water also the sweet and sour sauce was like pouring a pot of vinegar over my food so that was all ruined too.. honestly don't bother

Spent 38 £ on Saturday night, and food was tasteless, few lumps of square chicken in meals & Beef ,bb sauce no taste, like black water. To be honest have had decent food there in the past, Don,t know whats happened recently but wont get caught again.

Just ordered from Many's Takeaway and was met with exceptional courtesy... so spent my money there. Will continue to order from there in the future. Thank you. Good manners cost nothing... Just a little effort!

Normally the food is very good but last time I ordered chicken mushroom pie and chips I got home and discovered my pie was cold. Not cold but fridge cold! I rang them and explained the situation and they apologised and said to remind them on my next visit as my next meal would be free of charge 😉 So today I went in and reminded them and they went to charge me for the chips as only the pie was free! When I questioned them the owner said only the pie was cold not the chips. And that I need to pay for the chips. I walked out without food and will not return
