Previously we were not able to write a review, as the Royal Oak at New Bolingbroke was not on trip adviser. It was a couple of years ago since we visited for lunch and we arrived at 1:20, only to be told that the kitchen was closed. Outside the board clearly displays that lunch is served from 12 until 2pm. What was even more surprising was way in which we were informed. The member of staff we met was really quite rude, almost as if how dare we arrive after 12 noon - not everyone wants to eat at noon! We have not been back since, as the rude way that we were turned away as put us off ever going back.

Do not know this shop or recognise the address in Boston Lincs. Maybe this is in Boston Spa,a totally different place. Possibly a nice good shop too visit.

Stopped in Boston to break our journey home and spotted this near where we parked and from outside it looked lovely. Two toasted tea cakes and two black coffees £12 The two stars were for the friendly staff. The place was filthy- dirty chairs and tables and toilets a disgrace-certainly not been cleaned for a while judging by the number of cobwebs, dirty broom and toilet brush. So disappointed- won’t be visiting again.
