Royal Grosvenor Hotel in North Somerset

Very clean, super friendly and location fab.

This is a two star Victorian build hotel and commensurate with that. It is what it is. Simple, adequate, clean rooms. And usually these days a daily service to the room which was great. Toilet bleached- also great. Comfortable bed in my room. The food was good and sufficient, indeed some splendid offerings. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Great location for town, beach and theatres. Inhouse entertainment was pleasant enough though alas the designated entertainment room was under my bedroom so had to listen til 10.30 pm whether I wanted to or not! Luckily 'My Way' is to my liking!

Stayed in hotel 14/10/2024 - 18/10/2024. Had a great time the food was nice, was given loads. The staff were really friendly , and the entertainment was really good. Would reconmend to friends and family.

This is a typical 2* hotel, rooms are clean but tired. Things not screwed to the wall and very loose as like the toilet roll holder, the towel radiator, etc. In saying that the staff are very friendly and welcoming, there service is good, the food is very good and plentiful no skimping here. It's clean and tidy. Rooms are made up.

For a 2 star hotel, it was pleasantly surprising to feel so comfortable, well fed with excellent service from the staff. Great location next to the promenade.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Royal Grosvenor and wouldn't be in a hurry to return. Understand it's graded as a 2 star hotel but the hotel felt soulless ,the room felt unloved. The majority of the staff were helpful and accommodating.
