Excellent. Really nice food and great service in a lovely atmosphere. Will most definitely go again when attending a performance at the Royal Court. I could have done without the silly gender toilet signage (which is frankly daft) and accompanying posters but I guess that’s where we are!

Excellent discovery in overpriced Sloane Square lovely relaxed atmosphere with great food and drinks at reasonable prices. Very friendly and efficient staff made it a good place to eat before theatre just upstairs. Highly recommended it.

the royal court persist in their vegan, no meat philosophy - hopefully a new chef will review the menu and change this. Half the food is fried - which is not healthy and fake beef and chicken doesn't really add to green credentials. I was amused to see someone bringing their own fruit to get something healthy. the wine list is not good - it appears to include pinot noir and merlot - but the pinot noir is merlot? needs a lot of work

Lunch was delicious and very healthy. The price was reasonable and service excellent. Would go again.

Went down on Saturday with some friends and had a brilliant time. The new stall looks amazing and is Al Fresco drinking at it's best. The team where lovely, helpful and service was quick. I believe it is support the theatre as well so DEFINITELY...

Wonderful to have some again in Chelsea. Great to be supporting the Royal Court theatre, who have suffered such a loss of income during the pandemic. Feels good to know our wining and dining is going to a good cause.

Two of us had dinner before the play. We sat in a lovely quieter area of the restaurant, the food was delicious with a lot of choice for vegetarians. We had a main course and drinks for two which was very reasonably priced. I usually...

The best thing about this restaurant is that it is at the Royal Court theatre and therefore super-convenient for pre-show meals. Especiaily on a very wet evening! We both ordered the cheese burger with fries, which came quite quickly but the whole meal was lukewarm....

Simple, high-quality food. I had a vegan burger which was delicious and my friends had pulled-pork and regular burgers which they said were great. Very reasonably priced, great (but busy!) atmosphere and excellent service.

It isn't often you come across a theatre restaurant that is so brilliant. Service was quick and friendly. Food was extremely tasty. The kitchen and waiting staff had no problem at all adapting to dietary requirements. As someone who doesn't get out to the theatre...

We ate here in September. Our group of 7 had to find a place quick to eat as we all had to leave shortly. We walked into this place and were seated immediately. Service was quick and efficient and great choice of menu. We loved everything we ordered, so fresh and well prepared. We ordered a selection from the dessert menu and it was amazing. We also enjoyed a couple bottles of prosecco. We were happy that you also had gluten free dishes on your menu. We really had a wonderful time getting together with our friends at this restaurant. Will definitely recommend it to my friends.

I go to the Royal Court often, and was especially impressed last Friday night - they were 3 deep at the bar but despite this I was served within 5 minutes. Having worked in the industry, I can say that that I found the older eastern european gentleman and the young irish bar supervisor particularly speedy on the bar - I would guess that between them they served around 50% more people in the time I spent at the bar than the other 2 staff.Also with regards to the last review about no sausage rolls left on Saturday - I dont feel that this is an accurate review of the restaurant or bar or indeed service and is absolutely irrelevant to the experience of the bar.

Interval of Goats, need reviving, made my way to bar, but coffee is no longer being served! Uh? No coffee shop open within 10 mins walk (I walked down King's Rd to Saatchi and back). Should I bring a flask in? What is the point of theatre bar that doesn't serve coffee in the interval???

This is a theatre cafe-bar, with a short but interesting and affordable menu. They are geared to deal with hurried theatre-goers, so it's all quite simple, but the ingredients are good - especially the salads - and the service quick and very friendly. As an example, we were having a bit of a celebration, and one of our guests brought a bottle of champagne. We had finished a bottle of wine, and we asked if it would be Ok if we opened the champagne, and the waiter didn't bat an eyelid - merely apologised because they were out of champagne glasses.

We had tickets for Jumpy at the Royal Court and thought we would try our luck getting a table in the cafe before the performance. I was able to book about 5 days in advance, it was fully booked when we got there. It's very relaxing eating at the venue and the staff kept our bottle of wine at our reserved table to finish during the interval. The two of us had a mushroom and blue cheese tart, roast pork belly, a lemon posset and cheese from Neal's Yard Dairy, all delicious. There are also sandwiches and some people had ordered bruschetta etc for the interval. It is a little bit pricey but not too bad, and the atmosphere is really good. Recommended to make the most of a night out.

Four of us met for supper before the theatre. The service was efficient and courteous, the food is excellent for pre-theatre and The place had a lovely buzz to it. Well done and thank you

Deciding to have a quick drink before a play, we went for a drink and were surprised to find a very lively place with amazing looking and smelling food! The feel of bar is great and very authentic London without being over the top.

Delicious burgers, but if you want to eat before the theatre make sure you allow plenty of time because service is extremely slow and waiters are inattentive because they are too pressured to serve customers well.

Our starters were delicious and reasonably priced. Bill came to £30 for two (three starters between us and coffee. No drinks). The service was sweet and friendly. The place is dark, bit shabby by now but full of atmosphere. Lots of backless stools suggest they expect more younger than older customers. As a cafe, it was very pleasant. But beware the reputation of the theatre itself: just as likely to have rubbish as the next stage. This time we walked out at intermission, shamed by the childishness of the treatment of a serious subject. But I've also been thrilled there in my time too. So be discerning.

The menu has improved lately with some original dishes. Excellent service and pleasant ambiance. Prices are very reasonable for this part of London. Recommended.

Visited the Royal Court last Saturday evening to see Father Comes Home From the Wars ( very good) and due to a lack of time and having being persuaded by previous TA reports decided to eat in the theatre restaurant for 18.00 sitting.For starters we decided to share a platter of pitta bread and humus. We then choice our main courses only to be advised that both the rabbit dish and the lamb stew were no longer available. Quite amazing as it was only 18.15. Does the kitchen not expect any people and therefore not make adequate allowance? This was made even more annoying as this only left a handful of other main course options.Anyhow, we both found the humus to be ample in quantity but very deficient in any flavour. Bland at best and one would have thought that humus would have been an easy dish to produce well!I had the burrata as a main which was adequate at best and my wife had the burger which again was adequate.All this and two glasses of red for £85 which was not good value for what we were by any stretch of the imagination. Such a pity as the restaurant could be so good for a pre or after performance meal. The management needs to have another look at what it is offering, or in our case not offering, and get this restaurant up to scratch. We visit the Royal Court many times but will not be eating there again until / unless things improve.As a final comment rather alarmed that we seem to be the only TA reviewers who did not appreciate the good. Maybe we are out of step!

The bar and restaurant were busy pre theatre with a buzzing atmosphere without being noisy. It was so well organised with attentive staff who made sure our meal was well paced before the theatre.The food was wonderful! We enjoyed delicious starters and main course, top quality! They offer a good range to suit anyone, from full three course dinner to burgers or sharing platters which are also good quality food (I've had previously) someone has thought this through and it's great!

Waited too long for food to be served and it was cold. We ordered 45 minutes before the play started but had only 15 minutes to eat it and I had to leave a portion of my meal uneaten

Booked a table for lunch at 1.15 before a 2.30 performance at the theatre. The table was ready on arrival, the food was wonderful, we had two sharing plates, and we were offered the bill at 2.15 to ensure we did not miss the play. We ordered desert and drinks which were waiting at our same table in the interval. This restaurant offers a great menu, well cooked and imaginative food, and the staff have the correct attitude that ensures everything runs smoothly. I would not even dream about eating elsewhere when visiting this theatre, but I'm sure it's equally as good when just out shopping!

The atmosphere is buzzy and there can be some star spotting. It is basically a pre theatre venue and as such it is second to none. As a restaurant it lack something, but the food is getting better.

Bit peckish haven't not eaten since breakfast so delighted with the choice of bar food - my focaccia sarnie was really tasty + just hit the spot. The cakes + stuff looked amazing too. Just right.

Noisy but atmospheric bar restaurant in basic basement. Service good although a bit rushed. Based on what we had the cocktails were generous and good value. The food was fairly straightforward but in areas overcooked. Would eat there again reluctantly.

Estoy ansioso de visitar de nuevo y será mantener un ojo para futuras producciones. Sin duda corbata en una visita al bar y cocina en nuestro regreso.

Excellent food and service. One of my favorite places in London to watch theatre, enjoy a meal and couple of drinks. The place is always buzzing from about 7pm then you can have a quiet drink if you want while the plays are going on.

Pleasant atmosphere. Good menu with choice of large or small plates, all very good, & tasty puddings. Excellent service

Visited here on my birthday. Piping hot food. Great atmosphere. Good mussels. Well cooked trout. Refreshing posset to finish. Will definitely return. Waitress was kind, chatty and made us feel at ease.

Vinimos aquí para cena antes del teatro y nos alegramos de haber reservado porque estaba lleno. La comida era muy sabrosa, especialmente la sopa hecha. Como vegetariano, no estoy acostumbrado a tener una opción en el menú, así que era de agradecer. Nos pareció que la comida era un poco caro para lo que nos dieron, tuvimos que pagar extra por las patatas fritas con la hamburguesa (hongo) y halloumi, por ejemplo, y de la hamburguesa en su propio hubiera sido una comida muy pequeña. El servicio era muy bueno y rápido, y el personal era amable.

Quiero el bar antes de ver un juego para el almuerzo y la comida era muy buena. El personal era muy amable y servicial. También fuimos al bar después del juego hasta las 21h y tenía un gran tiempo de socializar y beber con amigos.

Esto debería ser un buen lugar para reunirse y tomar una copa y charlar antes, durante y después de una actuación en el Teatro Royal Ct. El problema es que es una gran caverna, y el nivel de ruido - sólo de las voces - es pésima. Es muy difícil mantener una conversación. Eso es lo que la mayoría de la gente quiere hacer, de ahí el din.

Convenient location - right next to Sloane Square Tube. Very tasty and well cooked food. Excelent ambience and atmosphere. Friendly and personable waiting team. Have already recommended to others! Like that profit go to the Royal Court Theatre too.

Reservamos una mesa - teatro y conciertos aquí, en el último minuto, y que una buena idea que fue. Servicio a la mesa y fue muy amable y servicial, la comida estaba bien, no era excelente pero sin duda es lo suficientemente buena como para justificar una visita. Hay una buena selección de platos pequeños y opciones más sustancial. En general, fue un lugar agradable donde encontrarse y nos consiguieron entrar y salir en buen tiempo para nuestro diferentes eventos.

Por desgracia, el champiñón halloumi hamburguesa era inadecuado. El hongo fue sólo alrededor de un tercio de la anchura de la hamburguesa, la pelea no era tostado, y como sólo había un minúsculo de chutney de dab de menos de 1 cm de diámetro, y una individual de hojas de lechuga, estaba seco y aburrido.
