Wonderful restaurant, conveniently located near the R&A and other museums. Food was really nice. Also, this restaurant was kindly attentive to food allergies in our family, with a particular focus on our 3 year old daughter's food allergies. Recommend this place in London!

I came here with my sister before the Doctor Who Prom. The food was absolutely delicious, excellent and speedy service (I was a little anxious about how long it would take to eat and get to the venue, as South Kensington was full of people in long scarves, bow ties and fezzes, but I had no need to worry.) Tables were quite tightly packed in and there was a queue for the toilets, but these are minor quibbles. A really lovely meal, reasonably priced, and I'll definitely be coming back.

Pricey, but food was ok. Got bigger portions for less the price.

We went to eat at this place that is very nice, however, the service is not very good, everything is too messy, from arriving and being assigned a table, to sitting down and someone coming to serve you, which makes the experience be quite slow and messy. The food was good, neat, good presentation, and the dishes were abundant, but nothing extraordinary. We ordered several starter dishes to share and try a varied menu, and then the main course. The price-quality ratio seemed good to me. The area is beautiful, a pedestrian street full of bars and restaurants.

Insane food if you like this sort of cuisine. Very fast service and a great atmosphere in a good location.

A beautiful restaurant, with interiors furnished in such a way as to create a truly special atmosphere. The service is fast and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is much appreciated and full of characteristic flavours. Prices are average for the city of London.

Unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. The food, which was overpriced to begin with, was served lukewarm and lacked any discernible flavor. It was clear that the kitchen had failed to properly prepare and cook the dishes. To make matters worse, the atmosphere was uninviting and the service was lackluster. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a satisfying and enjoyable meal.

Absolutely amazing food. I had the chicken kofta with the zaatar and garlic flatbread- both delicious! The fries were also really nice. My friends had the chicken taouk and also the mama zohra salad and they liked them. Sat outside so a nice view of South Kensington. Would recommend!

I’ve been going to Comptoir for over 10 years now. Always fresh and tasty. The prices are very reasonable based on location/portion size and service received. They have a kids menu which is excellent value.

The coffee here is spectacular.

The food and drink I had was delicious. The waiters were polite but were obviously really busy, had to ask for water etc. luckily there is QR codes to order from (slightly difficult to use, no Apple Pay so I had to put my card number in!) The hummus was delicious and fresh. I was expecting the flat bread to be warm because it was fresh but it was still soft and nice! Wide variety of non alcoholic drinks, good vibe outside and the food came out fairly fast considering how busy it was, so overall it was good!

Good Lebanese cuisine, nothing to complain about. Pleasant service, however, the wooden tables are a little sticky (those outside at least) which is a bit disturbing. However relaxing atmosphere.

Go to this place whenever I'm in this area .food always comes out great,drinks are nice atmosphere is nice and chilled not too basic not too extravagant with a nice character. Will always be visiting if we need food in the area especially that the mezze for 2 usually gets shared by more people and is still enough. Overall very good for Lebanese food with flavour and decent prices

Alright, food enthusiasts and fellow culinary adventurers, gather 'round. I recently braved the gastronomic wilderness of Comptoir Libanais South Kensington and, well, let’s just say it was an experience.First up, the Sheesh Tawook. Now, I know what you're thinking, "How bad could it be?" Imagine a chicken satay that went on a gap year but never quite found itself. It was as average as a vanilla ice cream in a world where gelato exists.Then there was the bread. Ah, the bread. If you've ever wondered what biting into a sponge might feel like, this is your chance. Cakey, dense, and oddly reminiscent of the stuff they give you at the dentist's office to make a mold of your teeth.But the pièce de résistance, the crowning jewel of mediocrity, was the aubergine and haloumi burger. Frankly, I’m still not sure if what I ate was an actual burger or an elaborate prank. The aubergine was a tiny piece, the haloumi was the size of a solar panel, and both were lost in a burger bun large enough to house a family of four. The whole thing came together in a symphony of "why did I order this?"So, would I recommend Comptoir Libanais South Kensington? Only if you're desperate. Like, "forgot your lunch and there’s a zombie apocalypse outside" desperate. Bon appétit, folks.

Lovely place. A tad too squeezed space-wise (we sat outside) but the food made up for it. Their fresh rose mint tea and baklava was just the perfect end note to a lovely meal (Mix of mezzes and a main dish)!

Exceptionnel food with very nice servers!

A great place to have a quick lunch before heading to the museums! The Mix grill was exactly what I needed, perfectly cooked. Liza was very attentive and friendly, I will definitely come back!

Had coffee and dessert. The baklava was devine, very rich so one serving is enough for two! Right round the corner from the museums.

Super tasty food with good servings, enough to fill the greediest tummy. Sit outside if you can and watch the world pass by as you enjoy your meal too. No reservation necessary even at lunchtime.

Having visited local museums we settled here for afternoon lunch, Tables available outside and in, warmly welcomed, we sat inside, Kshitiz was our main waiter, checking for allergies, general awareness and good interaction, he was excellent. We ordered 2 x 125mm shiraz, 2 lamb kofta, 1 x baklawa dessert (to share) and a still water £60 incl 12%service charge Very nice food and well priced Popular place.

Great decoration and buzz even on a weekday lunchtime, Servers were friendly and efficient and the food and drinks came super fast, I had the ramoona lemonade and the chicken touka open wrap Delicious and light food with amazing authentic flavour, Would recommend and would come again :)

Definitely I will return to this restaurant. Flavourful dishes, very kind and professional waiters. Healthy food. Lovely and relaxing atmosphere. Located on a charming street close to all the South Kensington museums. Value for money. I know this is a chain and have tried several ones in London. This one is my favourite food wise.

Birds portion, high price and two spoon's of food.

Poor value and not fresh. Choose any of the other nearby Lebanese or Mediterranean restaurants instead. Lively atmosphere but the food was just not to the quality such a location and price would demand. The lamb kofta tagine was a bowl of overcooked till dry meatballs in a bland sauce with a side plate of couscous. The couscous was soft and fluffy but to call this a tagine worthy of £18, not worth it at all. The spinach and cheese bourek was good but you can tell it wasn't fresh as the phyllo dough pastry was not crisp. The mezze was okay. Not great, just serviceable. The falafel with its rich sesame flavor would be great if it was not stale but the exterior was as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour.

Great location, the food was ok but not enough effort. Service was very poor and slow. Hygiene was disappointing 😞 which makes you doubt to eat.. Tables and the menus were terribly dirty as well. It is a shame as it is a beautiful location to relax and have a bite to eat..

Good Lebanese restaurant offering the classics of this cuisine. The pleasant terrace and the service is correct.

Went on a Monday afternoon in June so lots of tourists around - line was about 6 people and all the tables outside were full but we were seated in less than 10 minutes outside (it was a lovely sunny day). Was attended to by Akish who was very helpful and guided us on portions and ordering. He was tending to a few tables and never left us hanging. Had the mezze for two to start split three ways which was a perfect portion. The baba ganoush and hummus were creamy and light and the falafel was crunchy and sweetly cooked perfectly. I had the lamb kofta burger with batatas Harra (first time for me) that was crunchy outside and fluffy inside and the kofta was moist and smoky. I had the Toufaha and Roza homemade lemonades (with vodka!) - preferred the Tou for the ginger but they were refreshing and tasty. Would go again.

Food looks like it’s both from Tesco , no taste , no aspect , nothing good to eat.. The food came very quickly, like someone else ordered and they didn’t like it.. 🥴 Staff was super friendly and helpful! I don’t recommend this place !

Slow service. I think the humus lacked flavour. And in general the food lacked something I feel.

Really great food. My husband and I ate half of the Meze plate and the children the children's portions. The adult portion was great and just the right size. The children's portion was quite small. But still tasty. We were at rush hour, so the atmosphere lost points because of that. We were seated at the front door where there was a gust of wind, it got a bit cold, and there was also a lot of noise. However, the waiters were friendly, even though they were in a hurry, the service was fast considering the rush and the food came quite quickly. The place itself is cute.

Popped in on 15/06/24, had the lamb kofta and halloumi and the homemade lemonade. Gorgeous and refreshing on a warm day. Great service from the guy who looked after us, didn't catch his name, but 20ish, short beard, quite thin. Really nice place.

Stopped here for something to eat after our museum visit. Had a really lovely meal and not too pricey. Staff were all lovely so very happy.

Food was good but the portions of main dishes were a bit small

I ate an excellent Lebanese salad accompanied by falafel. There was nothing missing in the salad, it was plentiful, it was sunshine on the plate, full of sweet and savory vitamins. If I have a few things to complain about it would be to put more sauce on the side for the falafel which I found a little dry or add a small cup of sauce with it. The apple toufaha drink was very good and original. The “batata hara” spicy potatoes seasoned with a little garlic, coriander and tomatoes was tasty! The setting and the terrace are very pleasant.

Sat outside in the sun - lovely atmosphere. Great food. But best of all the service was great - even though it was so busy in the restaurant, we felt really looked after by our server Ashik. He was rushing around looking after everyone and always happy to help. Thanks!

Why are you burning meat this much? Who can eat this? It's not healthy. Edited: Why would I return? Do you provide anything for customers who left unhappy? Whats your strategy for this?

Unfortunately, the order was wrong: instead of one wrap without sauce and another without lettuce, we got one standard wrap and one without sauce and lettuce. The food was tasty, but the portion was small: the mezze plate for 2 people was very modest, e.g. a total of 2 pieces of falafel. I don't like that there is a mandatory tip added.

Excellent food. However, the environment was a bit noisy. Difficult to have a conversation without getting loud. Still, a good place to visit and enjoy Lebanese food.

We had a wonderful breakfast on their sunny terrace. Houmous (The Beiruty) was fingerlicking good, the shakshuka had a mouthwathering spicy but subtle aftertaste. Nothing but praise. We loved this heavenly place!

I went here because of the reviews and I LOVE. LIKE LOVE Lebanese , as far as Lebanese food goes most of my meal was bread and I know I ordered a wrap but like barely any meat not enough salad , 20% food 80% bread ……… the meat hadn’t a lot of flavour , falafel was hard and it didn’t feel authentic to me , it was more tourist but if your a real fan I don’t recommend

The food was exceptional; it surpassed my expectations. I ordered the lamb kofta, and its seasoning was fantastic. The pomegranate and orange juice had one of the best flavors I’ve ever tasted. This became one of my best dining experiences.

The chicken unwrap is pretty good - tasty, but not spicy. Decent size portion for lunch.

Maze platter for 2 was very tasty, very good! Service OK. I'm not giving 5 stars because I felt offended paying 3.50 pounds for a glass of tap water that I didn't even order. I only took one sip because the water was hot.

the service and atmosphere are fine, but I just care about the food. Tabbouleh 3/10, I’m Lebanese so my standards are high. The sauce was very badly done even though the ingredients were fresh. We took the tawlet zahra salad it was also 3/10, they just completely undersauced it, it became a 4.5/10 with sauce. Chicken wings 6/10, just basic, the garlic sauce is so bad 1/10. Rose lemonade 5/10 overall mid and not worth it

A friendly waiter served me and my family on 8/5 before my graduation. He also contacted us to inform of a wallet we dropped at the venue, much appreciated to him! The food we ordered were all delicious too!

After a short wait (understandable, on a Sunday afternoon) we were sat at a lovely table outside, and ordered an array of mezze plates between the 3 of us. The food came out quickly given how busy it was, and was fresh and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the tabbouleh - a very good amount of mint, although the others found it a bit overpowering. If you order the hommos, I would recommend ordering more bread. The homemade lemonade was also a delicious accompaniment to the meal. This location doesn't take bookings, but the queue wasn't too long and we were seated in good time.
