Very disappointing visit - food was below expectations from previous visits mainly to other branches, but the staff left a lot to be desired, we waited over half an hour before anyone even acknowledged and asked us if we would even like a drink and that was after several attempts to engage and make eye contact with them, then when we did get to place our orders and food arrived - 3 out of 4 dishes and we had to enquire and remind staff we were still waiting on the 4th and final mains, it arrived cold and over cooked - mixed grill had pieces esp the lamb charcoaled to a point it was tough and difficult to eat. Then we were told we could not order coffee of deserts as they were closing in half hour - how long does it take to make a few coffees and serve? Must say was not impressed and would not be rushing back or recommending to anyone.

Perfect place when you crave for some Middle Eastern dishes, especially delicious mezze, such as Hummus and Baba ghanoush! Vegan Mezze Platter was very tasty and healthy and photogenic. Make the most of the outdoor sitting area when the sun is out and over 20 degrees.

We had a salad with falafel. It was delicious. It is a very busy place and crowded. They give crayons and activity sheets for the kids to keep them occupied. That is very nice. The staff was standard. It is a place I would choose because it is close to the museums. There is nothing very special about it.

The Comptoir Libanais is a fantastic Lebanese restaurant that I would highly recommend. We had their Iftar Special. Each dish was Tasty and thelentil soup was really delicious. The food is authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service is also exceptional, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who are happy to make recommendations and accommodate dietary restrictions. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for a casual dinner with friends or a romantic date. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the Comptoir Libanais and I can't wait to go back.

Delicious Lebanese restaurant🧆✨ I ordered a mezze platter for one, and the portions were perfect! However, I wasn't a huge fan of the eggplant caviar, which tasted too wood-grilled. As for the seating, I arrived at 12 p.m., which was a good thing because it fills up quickly!

The staff is friendly, nice welcome. The food is delicious and fresh.

Had a great Sunday lunch at Comptoir Libanais. The place was somewhat busy, but I was seated immediately upon arrival. Service was quick and efficient—my order was taken right away, and my chicken taouk arrived in about 5 minutes. The food was delicious, full of flavor, perfect with a crisp cider. A great spot for a quick and tasty meal!

A very busy Lebanese restaurant however, we were seated straight away. The food was fresh and great quality. Would recommend the Jasmine Tea as well as the sharing platter. The interior was beautiful with colourful lighting and pictures. Would highly recommend this place.

I stopped for dinner one evening. I have been to other branches before but my first time here. Nice branch with indoor and outdoor seating located near South Kensington underground station. I sat inside. Nice atmosphere. Clean. Staff were pleasant, good service but needed to be friendlier and smile more! Nice menu of dishes that are inspired by the flavours, spices and cuisine of the Middle East, Lebanon and North Africa. I had the mezze platter for one which comprised hommos, baba ghanuj, quinoa tabbouleh, falafel, natural labné, cheese samboussek, flatbread & pickles. This was really nice with a coke zero to drink. Lovely. I really enjoyed my meal. Light, yet filling. Generous. I enjoyed it but couldn't finish it. Perfect for a warm spring evening. Would recommend for sure. Would have given this a 5 star if staff were friendlier.

An absolute disgrace to Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese food is supposed to be rich, fresh, and full of flavour, but this was the exact opposite.I had high expectations for this restaurant in South Kensington, but unfortunately, it was a complete letdown The tables were sticky, which should have been my first warning sign. The food was some of the worst I’ve ever had. The mixed grill was bone-dry, overcooked, and completely tasteless. Every bite felt like chewing on cardboard. Worse, all the food seemed like it had been cooked straight from frozen in a microwave—rubbery, bland, and utterly disappointing. For the prices they charge, I expected fresh, well-prepared dishes, not something that tastes like a cheap, ready meal. To top it off, the service was indifferent at best. Even basic instructions were ignored. I specifically asked for no ice in my drink and room-temperature water, yet the waitress still brought ice-cold water. It’s a small thing, but it shows a complete lack of attention to detail. It's definitely not worth the visit. I won’t be coming back. For 3 adults and 2 children under 3, we paid £130.

Dishes are very poor, good for vegetarians. The amount of meat is maybe 150 gram maximum. The taste is neutral not Middle East taste. Maybe good for British people. Humus is also not very tasteful. Suggestion take some courses for Lebanese cooking. My expectation was much more I am sorry. The service was very good, also the quality of the menu and atmosphere is very good. But the finish could be much better.

Delicious food, quick preparation, I ordered the mezze platter for two people and it was well served. A great option for those who want to eat before going to the natural history museum.

Despite really tasty food, It was quite busy and we sat almost touching the neighbor table's people -tables were squeezed. Service was slow... We had lamb burger and lamb tagine, as well some snacks.

In the very center of London, Lebanese food, halal, is the main criterion for me here. Everything was brought quickly, the taste was interesting, new, special seasonings, I ordered chicken with olives, side dish - couscous. Very noisy. The restaurant is popular. Crowded.

Great decor and, a very lively atmosphere. No booking just walk-ins. Card-only payments. The food tasted great and came fast however the portion was quite small for the price you pay. I did have to call over the waiters to order and pay rather than the usual come over to you but it wasn't a problem as we were in a bit of a hurry.

Pleasant staff and quick service of delicious food. I loved NOT having to use the QR code on the table to order but my order was taken by a member of the wait staff. So much faster and easier as a customer experience.

I lived in Lebanon for over 35 years, and I can tell you, this is not authentic Lebanese food. First unforgivable act, tabbouleh with quinoa, what!!??? The bread was not Lebanese, it was thick and smothered in butter. The portions were very small. There were three of us and we ordered what we would normal order in a Lebanese restaurant. Honestly, I could have finished everything myself. The baba ghanouge was OK. The kafta was OK. There were Indian incense burning, totally wrong smell for a Lebanese restaurant. Add to that the fact that there was an issue with the alarm system and it kept going off. Definitely will NEVER go back to any branches of this restaurant.

I frequently visit Comptoir Libanais and have always enjoyed the delicious food and quick service, which is why it’s one of my favorite spots. However, during my recent visit, I was a bit disappointed with the service. While the food was as great as always, the staff member, Liza, didn’t check back to see if everything was okay. It felt like we didn’t matter, which was unlike the usual welcoming atmosphere. I hope this was just an off day and not a reflection of the restaurant's usual service. Looking forward to better interactions next time.

Colorful lighting makes the restaurant atmosphere lively and warm. The tables are quite close but not too noisy. For meals, the two of us chose the mixed appetizer platter and the mixed barbecue platter. This combination is great! The barbecued meats are juicy and delicious, and the cold dishes are delicious and delicious😍 The drinks are mediocre, Iced tea / homemade lemonade. I chose one cup each but was not impressed. I suggest you just order wine😆

It was an okay diner - not the greatest or most mind-blowing, but a regular, pleasant experience. The shish was a bit dry, and the service was slow, but I can’t really complain since we arrived not long before closing, and they were quite busy at the time. So I’m thankful for accommodating us for this quick late evening dish.

I love Lebanese cuisine so I'm not sure I'm objective. But for me everything was perfect. Crowded restaurant but quick table turnover.

We waited for food for ages and when it arrived it was luke warm and not very nice. We also ordered coffee and hot chocolate and it was horrible. We paid over £80 and left this place extremely disappointed. Definitely will not go there again.

Visited at a busy lunch period. Staff are excellent and accommodated us within 10 minutes. Unfortunately the cocktails arrived 15 minutes after our meal was served. This time the mezzo platter fekt stringent. An extra spoonful of the dips would have felt like good value. The whipped feta was two tablespoons worth but it came with the delicious bread. The Safron and ginger drink was flavour less. The Rose daiquiri was good. The staff were very helpful and assisted with the menu for special dietary requirements. Avoid the busy periods as it is very noisy and crammed. It was the staff which made this place star rating today.

Nice place, nice atmosphere. I tasted a good tagine with chicken, although in my opinion not exceptional (and also quite difficult for digestion). To accompany a good red wine (I also tasted the white, this was also good)

Lebanese place with a large terrace in a tree-lined pedestrian plaza 🌲🌳 where you can see all kinds of people passing by. Cosmopolitan atmosphere on the street. Cozy interior, oriental decoration and 🎼 music. Very slow service, few employees for the job they have. Lebanese and Middle Eastern food. Good Halloumi Cheese with Figs. Eggplant 🍆 with Chickpeas is also good. We liked the Spinach with Feta Cheese and Yogurt Sauce Local public and tourists.

Just happen to stumble across this place after a day walking around Kensington. Food was incredible and we were given great suggestions. Highly recommend the house made lemonade, rose mint tea and baba ghanoush!

Lively place, nice atmosphere. Seating outdoor with heaters is nice. Food was tasty and great for sharing. However we expected larger portions especially for the stews that came in a small bowl, but disappointing despite the good taste. The salmon was not very fresh.

AVOID!! BEWARE!! Went with my family and my guy was telling me to walk out as the restraint was empty dispute every single reaturant near by being Jan packed Ordered the mix grill for 2 as a starter and when it came the portion was so tiny it looked like a portion for a 5 year old but yeah no big deal... tried the food and iwas disgusting.. the kofta was okay but the chicken was absolutely disgusting and I mean nasty.. You could tell it was not fresh justh re heated and had that uncooked raw chicken taste. how can you serve this to people? My wife asked the manager if he could replace it and he said NO. I kept my cool as I don't want to kick up a fuss but I have never had tastes such nasty food in my life in any restaraunt in London. the food smelt very very bad.. like it was rotten. also when my wife asked the bald manager if he could replace that smelly chicken he had a very bad smell in his breathe I had to cover my nose and his breathe smelled like urine.. literally. please get him to chew some gum and brush his teeth please. Only good thing about this place was the African waitor who was fruendly and nice but you can tell the bald manager with the bad breathe treats him very bad.. he seemed very afraid and scared of the manager. please have a look at my other reviews.. I never give bad reviews and this is one of the very rare occasions.. I would rate this place ZERO if I was able to.. no wonder if is empty Smelly reheated food.. if you want quality food go elsewhere

Good food. Service was very bad. Many mistakes in the check. Ate one bread but paid for three. Staff seemed to be very unorganized. Therefore.....recommend others to check the bill by heart !!

Very busy restaurant in a prime tourist area. Took a while to get seated. Staff were good. Food is decent but main course portions seemed small. It is more a place to go if you are looking for a quick bite rather than for a special occasion.

Spontaneously ate another little something and it was very tasty. The price was also reasonable. The ambience is also beautifully designed and the service is friendly.

We were unfortunately disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. First of all, it was hard to distinguish between the chicken kofta and the mixed grill: both dishes came with the same small portion of rice and a tiny bit of salad, the only additional item was one extra skewer which doesn’t justify such an increase in price Additionally, the meat was cold, bland, tasteless, and at the same time overly spicy, which does not match the idea of grilled food. I’m sorry, but it was really unpleasant. The falafels, also cold, were so hard that we literally had to fight with the knife to cut them. Chewing them was even more challenging. As for the prices, they are simply exaggerated considering the quality of the dishes offered. Another very disappointing point was the attitude of the staff. The servers were visibly stressed, did not smile, and didn’t even bother to ask if everything was fine or if we needed anything. Lastly, the hygiene was really lacking, especially in the women’s restrooms, which were not clean. This left me even more dissatisfied. Overall, an experience I would not recommend.
