We had Veggie Power pasties, piping hot and absolutely delicious. We ate them at the tables inside, with a lovely cup of tea. The bakery was very clean and the staff friendly and obliging. I would very highly recommend, as we have eaten here before and the pasties have been consistently excellent.

So came here before we left Cornwall as a goodwill last Cornish Pasty. Had been to another one a few doors down called Warren's Bakery, which tasted awesome and expected this to be the same. However the pastry was thin and incredibly dry, the filling bland and cheap. Not a overwhelming plesent EXPERIANCE. If you are taking a trip down the road, I recommend Warren's. Saying this, the pasty was 2 for £5 and the caramel shortbread was delicious . But individuals come to a Cornish Bakery for a good pasty, the main star of the show, which in this case was very disappointing. Tasted much better from other places, including ST. Ives Bakery which was amazing.

I popped in to get a cheese and onion pasty for dinner, their pasties are small so suitable for me. Having paid by card as required to whatever was mumbled at me pricewise by the rather miserable woman serving, I was disgusted to see on my bank statement that I had been charged £3.40 for it. I was even more annoyed by the fact that I can get ten for £25. I don't normally buy my pasties from Rowes as I find Philps and the Cornish Oven make better ones. First and last purchase from there.

Steak pasty was the worse thing I’ve ever eaten, no meat just tough bristle/fat, the whole pasty just tasted awful. The next day I felt really poorly! Would recommend The Cornish Oven near Tesco in Helston

We called at Rowe's in Helston before heading for St Michael's Mount and had a lovely snack consisting of various baguettes, including a super prawn one, followed by a variety of cakes and coffees for £4.75 each.. Both of the ladies afforded the four of us a great welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you Ladies.

Pasties for our visitors - this shop is predictably good and again all enjoyed what we bought. Lovely shop.

Being a regular customer for their pasties, saffron buns and cakes, I rate their products highly and I have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

Today I visited subway and was extreamly disappointed with the service the lady who was taking our order was very very rude she had long black hair and when I asked her which chicken it was she shrugged her shoulders and turned around I then asked for no jalapeños on my nachos as I am allergic I got home and there was extra on top while being cold as soon as I got in the car I asked for my sub to be toasted and the cheese was barely melted while being cold as well I had to toast it at home in a toasty Machine I have had multiple issues with the service from only lady think it’s disgusting and very unprofessional

Looking at the reviews, food delivery times are as they were in June 2022. We arrived at 12.45 on Sunday 8th September to be greeted with the sign advising a 45 minute wait for hot food. We stood in a line of 12 people and reached the order point after 30 minutes. We both wanted soup, to be told Yes, 45 mjnutes was what it would take. What planet is the management on? Just how many years does it take to take the message on board & make an improvement. 45 minuted for a bowl of soup. They surely by now get the message that a wait of 1.25 hours in total for a bowl of soup is ridiculous. I cannot believe each soup is made especially to order. We threw the towel in , jumped in our car & travelled over to Trellisk near Truro, even busier than this restaurant, were served and eating our choice within 15 minutes of arriving. Is there a lesson here? Of course there is & one this restaurant should take very seriously. Very disappointed & frankly angry that this is the way customer’s are treated.

I should start by saying the food was good and portion size generous. But the service lets it down - I ordered in person and the server stopped me talking twice to answer the phone. I get that they don’t want to miss phone orders but when you’re speaking to someone face to face then interrupting that is just rude. This then meant that 2 orders went ahead of ours. We were told 20 minutes and 45 minutes later I’m still waiting which was incredibly frustrating.

Fish looked way too brown so decided to go for pie. Hard on top and chips overcooked and greasy. No like it has been in the past 😤
