Rough Trade East Cafe in Tower Hamlets

Fui a ver a HotWax actuando en Rough Trade East. Gran ambiente. La audiencia de 300 personas y el entorno dentro de una tienda de discos lo convierten en un gran lugar para espectáculos. El personal de Rough Trade muy servicial, la seguridad agradable. El café también es genial.

As a company rough trade are a joke. Sold a damaged record to my son and refuse to answer any emails, messages or calls on the matter.

The atmosphere was great here, I went for a Allie X signing on February 28th. Due to a time restriction for me personally, I went to to a staff member for advice/help and they were so lovely and made my entire experience stress free in the end and helped me massively, so would like to give a thank you to Jamie, Justin and Camille. Great staff and well organised event

Album launch Frank Carter plus signing. Intimate venue (300 people) and atmospheric place with a bar for drinks if needed. Good security outside and well organised inside . Plenty of records as you’d expect but closed for browsers by 6pm.

Found this while wandering around brick lane, proper record store. Great selection of vinyl and books, check the dates you go as they have loads of live gigs and signings in the shop. Also a good looking cafe but did not get to try it.

Rude sellers. The store implied that I would leave with the discs when I went to the front to buy a bag. I complained, the saleswoman kicked me out of the store but wanted my money, since I could complete the purchase (an expensive one by the way). She wanted my money but not my presence.

East london is always great. This is one of my favourite places to always visit whenever I’m in london.

Charlatans. Ordered a coloured vinyl as a Xmas gift for my Ukrainian refugee as she’s very down, lives for music, has started collecting coloured vinyl and this is her all time favourite album. They sent a black one. Went to the store and was told they had only black despite the online advert still showing coloured. Then began the farce with customer services. They have refused to help and expect me to travel back to London to return it. They have ruined Xmas for a Ukrainian refugee girl and don’t care. Avoid like the plague both in store and online.

Bem, a avaliação é da loja de discos e não da comida, já que nãoa chei a página da loja no site A loja tem uma oferta vasta de não só vinis, mas também CD´s e livros sobre música. Há um palco para shows mas não cheguei a ver. Os funcionários são um pouco frios, mas isso não chegou a incomodar. Os preços são caros, mas toleráveis

Unfriendly, unhelpful staff on two counters. Dreadful music in the shop - I think it was intentional to get rid of customers from the shop. Unless your taste is misogynist electronic music. What a bad experience and I won’t be back! Which is saying a lot for me as you can’t keep me away from record shops usually! Definitely NOT recommended and a disappointment.

Perfect place to come in for a drink and have a moment with the people you are with. Very pretty and the staff were nice! Enjoyed my drink here too!

Record store with copious levels of vinyl, CDs and associated reading material with a smallish cafe as you enter. Appears to be a live music stage too

This is a ‘cool’ place. If you love vinyl, you’ll be in heaven. I worked a stones throw from this shop for 6 years, and only ever went in a handful of times. They sell an amazing selection of music, and some books. Their cheese toasties are great, but coffee not so good. The staff are friendly. They hold signings here, and bands play, which always causes a stir and people queue up the street to get in.
