The food is great, its great value too, french onion soup is not thick and stodgy but then also doesnt come with cheese and toast, the baguettes are the steal of the show here and goats cheese salad is equal to any french restaurant. Chips can come a bit cold at times but they are not over done so 2 min in the oven and crispy yum. One issue I do have is that of recent they have been cancelling smaller orders close to closing (1-2hours close not like 5 minutes) which in my book is bad service, hence the lower star rating there, this has happened to me twice now and I have lost faith in what is otherwise a very very good place to eat. Dessert menu also recently reduced which is a shame as they offered some 8 or so great french cakes that you simply cant find outside a restaurant. Oh and lastly the home made burger is divine, please try it, its not whopping great junk, its a proper bit of minced meat with a strip of bacon that tastes like steak and red wine, not grease and fat.

I am prepared to wait for good food but this was not it. Restaurant did apologize but that was all. If I was in that restaurant I would have sent that food back. The chicken had the potential to good , perhaps someone else will have better luck next time.

Sólo tuvimos una comida verdaderamente encantadora en esta pequeña joya. La comida era simple pero de buena calidad - si el solomillo (medio raro a la perfección - mi novia dijo el mejor bistec que habíamos tenido en muchos años) con setas frites y una parte de dauphinoise porque soy codicioso. Camarero encantador y el personal. Se sentía como estar en un bistro local en Francia. Ambiente relajado sin pretensiones, simplemente buena comida y servicio de calidad. Sin duda volveremos y recomendar a otros.

El pesebre fue atroz. Él era extremadamente irrespetuoso conmigo y con mi novia. A partir de gritos cuando nos pidió para comer nuestra comida fuera aunque se ofreció a pagar los gastos de servicio. Él fue agresiva y dijo que "yo le compre" a mi novia. No estoy seguro de lo que estaba insinuando, pero era pésima.

Pasamos mucho tiempo en Bélgica y tenemos nuestro propio rotisserie de pollo, así que supe que sería adecuado para mí. También tuvimos calamares, pierna de cordero y una ensalada de mozzarella.

Loved the Niçoise salad and the burger went down well too. The chicken came with a very tasty rosemary gravy! The only downside was that half of the gravy ended up in the sink as the container leaked because it wasn't sealed well enough.

Portion sizes where great but the chicken was dry and the potato gratin was oily. The chocolate fondant is fantastic

Esto es bistro cocinar en su mejor momento. hambrientas es ideal para familias y amigos que quieran algo sencillo para comer y a un buen precio, París tiene un montón de lugares donde usted puede ir para una comida barata, en Londres tenemos poco entre cafés simples y los pubs y restaurantes gastrointestinal que se levantó por cadenas. Este maravilloso y acogedor lugar para comer y directo es precisamente lo que Londres necesidades. El personal francés son mucho más acogedor que los de restaurantes más parisinos en que he comido. Os exhorto a probar este lugar, nos llevaron allí por Michael Fitzalan Place que escribió "One" y estuvo de acuerdo en que este fue el restaurante más auténtico al norte de Montmartre.

Vine aquí varias veces cuando abrió sus puertas por primera vez y nos encantó la comida. Ayer, después de un largo descanso, me encontré con un amigo para almorzar y me defraudó. Preciosa piel crujiente corteza? No. Flabby y grasienta. Sabrosa, crujiente salsa en un pequeño crisol? El pollo No. llegó en un mar de finas, sosa salsa gránulo-tipo salsa. empalagoso, cremosos Dauphinois? rodajas de patatas secas;sin salsa o sabor. Ratatoille y judías fueron similarmente desagradable.

Great chicken roasted to perfection. This is French style so no Peri Peri sauce. The provided rosemary dipping sauce is delicious. Simple menu. Fast.

Never again. Gratin was tasteless. Caesar salad had extra ingredients not needed, I will pass on the sordid details. Burger's bun was cold. Fries were too dry. Not a good experience for us.

The service is very friendly. Food is very tasty - particularly the gravy. Very good value for money. Don't expect fine dining, just somewhere simple, with delicious food, in a lovely location.

i love their food, never had a problem before, but it seems hard for them to make a good burger, the first time the bread was soaked in blood, so i asked this time for the burger to be well done, and i received what looked like a piece of coal. after arguing with them over the phone, they finally decided to send me a know burger, 1 hour later, once everyone else have finished and guests left.

Delicious - chicken really tasty, and they cooked the French beans at the last moment so they were fresh.

Rotisserie De Paris has become a staple in our house. Delicious, tasty food delivered quickly. Couldn't recommend enough.

Very good chicken in a delicious gravy. The portions are generous and the assorted fish platter is very good value. Nice ambience on a Sunday lunchtime.

These guys are amazing. I damaged my knee on my birthday and couldn't go out as planned so they sent me a free donut! Food always great. Best fries ever. And the chicken with mash and French beans is really good on a Sunday

The delivery took over an hour and was cold on arrival.

Great place to eat for all the family. Great English breakfast with spicy eggs, take-away leg of lamb, ratatouille and purée of swede and carrots is something else for a lazy Sunday lunch:) Very good value.

The last time I went here I must say I was rather disappointed with my meal. I went for a burger and the last time I had on it was home made and very good. This time however it seemed to be a bought in product and not nice at all. I will not be going back.

We finished eating at the time they should have delivered, that's how fast was the delivery. I was really surprised about the quality. Being French, I wasn't expecting this quality. The only thing I would have to say on the down side, the chicken was slightly undercooked for my taste.... But the rest was great... Will definitely order again.

Love this place! I think I've tried everything on the menu and if I haven't my boyfriend has and I have always been presently surprised. A few favs...A chicken salad for £5.95, the steak baguette and the potato gratin! yummo! Where do you find such a thing at a inner city London restaurant for that price? Last weekend (hence the reason for this review) My boyfriend and I went for dinner. He had the stake baguette and I had the chicken salad. We saved so much money that decided that we could afford to return in the morning for the best ever eggs benedict, mine with salmon and his with bacon! All in all the thing that really stands our for me is the value and the people that work there. Not so sure if they are all related of just a little close knit community there to serve the locals. I like the idea that the money we pay wont go to some chain coffee house like StarBu%^S or Cos%A but to a really nice team of people! We will be back there tonight!

I was an early reviewer of Rotisserie de Paris, but I've been back a few times and things have evolved a bit, so I thought an update was appropriate.They're still doing the "signature" spit-roasted chicken that I had enjoyed before, but have now added an eat-in "specials" menu with more non-chicken items, which add a bit of variety.I tried a hot seafood platter which included a great selection of different seafood - large shell-on prawns, sardines, calamari, scallops... all sorts! It was much more generous than I had expected, and for less than a tenner! Can't argue with that for value.The other thing that's changed is that the restaurant is now licensed. We tried the Chardonnay, and although I'm no wine expert it seemed very pleasant and accompanied the seafood well.This is still a good place to get a substantial meal without breaking the bank.

we called in impromptu ..the nearby Hope does nt do sandwiches on a saturday ?A tasty Merguez sausage Baguette..Fries like McDonalds , but better . The atmosphere was inviting and the tables were clean and spotless...Highly recommended ..

Been waiting 2 hours now. Still no food. I called the restaurant an hour ago and was told the food would arrive any moment and I still have nothing. Now now one is answering the phone. Absolutely appalling

Meat was inedible. Chicken is normally really good but this meal was so bad it had to go in the trash can. I had to fight with it to try and cut it. It was like leather. It didn't taste good at all and was cold. As were the french fries.

Not impressed at all. The delivery arrived within the stated time frame, about 40 minutes and the driver was rather pleasant. However, the food was not worth the cost. The burger was chewy and cooked beyond well done (I typically have burgers medium well or well done and this was overcooked in my opinion) - even the bun was over toasted. We ended up throwing out most of the bread because it was too tough to eat. The fries weren't fresh and had to be thrown out. The chicken was somehow dry even though it was in a stew/sauce. That said, the chicken had a nice flavour and the stew/sauce was used to try to balance out the dryness. The mashed potatoes were the best part of the meal and they weren't even that great and could have been creamier. This meal would have been okay if it cost significantly less but at what it cost, it definitely was not worth it.

Delicious roast chicken, came with a separate cup of gravy (not that it needed it!). Excellent potato dauphinoise too!

This is our emergency local go to restaurant. Nothing fancy and bring your own wine (they do offer an in-house wine list too). If I really can't be bothered to cook then we head here.Eat in or takeaway, it's dead easy and super fast service. If you've got hungry teenagers they'll love this place. Portions are generous and the sides are really good with heaps of mash, dauphinois or purée of carrots and parsnips to mention a few.The ambience is OK although the lighting can be a bit bright and intrusive at times. But the family that run this place know their stuff and they haven't overstretched themselves with the menu or the formula. This is essentially a chicken rotisserie restaurant (free-range chicken btw) with a steak, salad or burger alternative. It's not really a breakfast restaurant although I've enjoyed croissants and cafe au lait here a couple of times. So please don't be put off by some of the previous reviews.

Arrived in 20mins but the chicken was virtually unedible-so dry and not nice at all. Maybe we got the last lunch one (we ordered at 6pm)...

The whole meal was cold unfortunately and I got a still rather than sparkling water, however the food was absolutely delicious. If they could guarantee a hot meal next time we'd order again without hesitation!

First of all, the 2.25 coca cola is a 330ml bottle. Very overpriced. Secondly, no peppercorn sauce and the rare steak wasn't rare. That being said, the steaks were still delicious and the chips were great.

Ordered the meal for delivery ASAP - took 75 minutes on a Bank Holiday Monday lunchtime, so not happy about that! Burger was cooked to within an inch of its life and was rock-hard and ice cold on arrival. Club sandwich was just about OK, though, and the soup, chips and corn on the cob were fine. I'd order again but would choose different items next time - and order for a specific time rather than using the ASAP option..

I popped in a while ago with my boyfriend for a quick breakfast. We ordered our coffees and a croissant. We were told they would deliver everything at the table. coffees arrive and about 15 minutes later we inquired about the croissant. We were told it was baking, apparently the chef forgot to put them in before. it was past 9 am! How about telling us when we ordered? Totally not good enough, and we were even charged service..... There are better places for breakfast in Balham only a short walk away.

The food was very poor the wasn't flavoursome raw onions and tomatoes topping it the gratin was billets potato it a think nutmeg sauce the ratatouille was okay a bit watery and the lemon meringue pie wasn't good the strawberries tasked of onion just eat don't nothing here is good not just this all of the takeaway get up get out and get something decent

The food arrived late and one of the steaks (sirloin ordered) was missing, so we rang up to get another delivered and not only did this take 45 minutes but the man on the other end of the phone was bordering on insulting. When it arrived it was rump and not sirloin. Note: I have never felt compelled to write a negative review for any restaurant or service received over the internet, ever. I usually just grin and bear it and treat mistakes with the good grace that I would hope someone treats any genuine mistakes I make; we're all human after all. Even trying to be really fair, this place may serve good food when eating in. However, I really wouldn't give this place my custom even then, so unpleasant was the guy on the other end of the phone.

This place is a breath of fresh air on bellevue road where restaurant prices are increasing all the time. The menu is simple with lots of great, tasty choices.. the main one being chicken, which is organic. Staff are lovely, place has a relaxed friendly atmosphere and it´s a byo, which makes the whole experience even more economical. I highly recommend it!

Hugely disappointing, the food was cold, the Sirloin steak was tiny and was grey, showing it had been cooked on too low a heat. The carrot puree had a weird vinegar taste to it. All in all very over priced and no where near worth the money.

Food was good, but they delivered too early despite asking for a specific time, and brought mashed potatoes instead of gratin dauphinois!

5 of us went for breakfast, two plates were brought out Luke warm, eggs overdone (fair enough) but the rest of the table had to wait 5+ minutes, then before arriving they said they had run out of certain items. (The place wasn't that busy, so poor stock management and comms between the guys on the fryer and the staff) So naturally we asked for the service charge to be removed and WOW what a stinking attitude we were given. Totally uncalled for. It's a shame as it's an excellent location for a good restaurant. Over priced for the quality of the food, a few parsley leaves can't mask the overall quality.

After problems with delivery and i finally received the order, I found it to be quite bland, and I couldnt finish it. Also the chocolate mousse was an absolute joke. Delicious, yes, but in a container that was less than a quarter full, I cant believe they can charge for that. May order again but not the same food

Went her for the first time. Very welcoming service, very friendly and approachable. The menu is short, simple and the chickens are organic and you see them going round on the rotisserie as you come in. Don't sit at the front near then on a hot day, you'll overheat.They have a small outdoor seating area with comfy chairs and lower tables which were all bagged as the sun was shining but the inside of the cafe was largely cool and empty. We both had sandwiches with a small side salad garnish and soft drinks. You can bring your own wine and there were people doing that outside, enjoying the weather and the view over the common.Food was good and tasty, nothing amazing, there were simple, tasty sandwiches. I think the chicekn meal would be well worth trying though. Total cost for two drinks each and a sandwich was £22 including service. I would go again and see if I can bag an outdoor seat next time.They also do takeaway with a delivery service.

One of the first things that I liked about this place is that the menu is fairly short, That's a good sign because it also means that virtually everything is freshly prepared.There are soups available as starters although we went straight for our main course, a whole organic chicken fresh from the rotisserie, which appears to be a house speciality.We added a with few potato and vegetable dishes to round things off.The chicken was much larger than I expected - it made very generous portions for just two of us and could easily have served a family! Nevertheless, it was incredibly tender and quite delicious.For desert I tried the home-made chocolate mousse which was also excellent.Rotisserie de Paris doesn't have a liquor license yet, but they welcomed us bringing our own wine and even provided glasses. That's economical , especially with off-licenses nearby!Staff were very friendly and attentive.In summary, this seems a good place to get a tasty wholesome meal without breaking the bank.

The chicken was nice, the fries OK although a little soggy (I'm not sure if its possible to deliver fries without this happening). However the beans and salad were delicious. The delivery was very quick - actually arriving 20mins earlier than predicted. Overall seems good and good value.

The meal arrived in under half an hour, hot, and the chips still crisp, which is more little short of a miracle. Good value, good quality. Nothing not to like here. Would use again with confidence.

Although the food was nice it came late and was missing 3 things after spending hours trying to contact the company- it was going straight to vm, I finally got through and he offered me £10 off, you can't do that with just eat!!! I found him really rude and still never got the 2l diet coke I paid for after a second delivery! I don't recommend this restaurant
