Roti Wala Dera in Birmingham

I ordered food through Uber eats and cannot find a way of leaving a review about the quality of food on the app so have decided to review here. I ordered zarda kheer and rasomalai. The Zarda was awful. Laden and swimming with oil and so much sugar that it might give a person diabetes. About the worst Zarda I have ever tasted. However the Kheer was excellent just the right consistency and not too sweet. Rasmalai was ok too.

Roti Wala Dera is a great place to get some authentic Pakistani food! The roti is soft and fluffy, and the curries are flavorful and aromatic. I especially recommend the chicken tikka masala. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable.

I visited roti Wala Dera during Ramadan with my family, the experience was breathtaking with over 15 freshly made curries daily we were spoilt for choice. I had the mini mix grill and it was more than special my wife had the mixed veg and tarka daal we ended up taking a portion out for sehri. The staff are amazing and very polite and courteous. I can't wait to try there special Karaahi 10/10

One of the most awkward experience as they don't accept card before 10 but when I wanted to complete my minimum range he didn't let me. Abusive and rude behaviour. I want to keep coming back but this guy at counter is the reason no one should go there whomever has self respect.

They have the best nihari in town with best quantity and quality. Once i ordered online and the next time i went to the place by myself had a dine in and even the people were so good

So I placed an order off of Uber eat. I’m actually so shocked 😳 it was like I was eating homemade food. It was fresh. I ordered donner in naan, mixed veg curry and 2 samosas and I must say the flavours were 10/10 I’d definitely order again. And try something different. Keep up the hard works small businesses like this need more recognition.

Amazing selection of meals very tasty, I'm a fussy eater and was impressed with the quality of the salans i had keema aloo and saag chicken been kraving it for a while and a fresh roti accompanied with a side salad and chutney, will definitely visit again for those pakora they were glistening golden i was too full to commit

Yesterday i had lahori Chana Daal which look like not Fresh and when i eat it its confirmed that daal is not fresh and Staff behavior was also not Good. Not Recommended. waste of money. 🤮🤢🤮

Had a horrible experience with one of the staff, Staff was seen charging , abusing, throwing rasist comments after my friend asked for an extra bread. Guy was heard saying quote ''This is alam rock', Other staff intervened saying, ''you will be beaten if you dont leave''... Nobody deserves to be treated this way, especially by staff. This isn't a first time, complains was made earlier for the same staff but no action was taken.

A big thanks to the young man running the place Prajwaljyot Singh. Honestly the best Amritsari Kulcha and Parathas in the UK. Even the pani poori was amazing.

What a hidden gem! If you want to experience proper desi food then look no food ! Local and have a lovely seating place outside - nice for when the weather is beautiful. Enjoyed our food and atmosphere was perfect for our family. Thanks

No aloo in the paratha should have stuck to selling alcohol in fox hollies

Nice, cosy, good service and most importantly DELICIOUS food. It's very cost effective too, compared to some of the other "desi" naashta places, this is authentic and very well portioned. The brother's were very helpful in their service and gave suggestions for ordering. The keema was tasty, well spiced along with the omelette which doesn't charge you for spices or extras like onions.... Unlike some places....! Definitely go down if you can, get there early though as I can see them filling up!! Delicious, delicious, delicious!!!

Good food cooked well and decent prices. We went on Sunday 12pm was couple spaces free to sit inside. They accept card payment and ample parking around it as it's on corner.

Small cozy little place to have The best mutton curry and mint chutney in BRUM.You cannot beat that combo especially on a typical rainy day.Lamb Shish kebab and paratha roll was juicy and crispy.And to be quite honest I easily overlook this place every time I drive through ARR, but today I just took the chance and have not regretted it.I will definitely will come back here and tell friends and family.The owner was exceptional made you feel at home and was very Friendly, a rare quality to have in this day and age and for that reason I will come back again.Glad to support local places in Brum.

Honestly can say they do the best breakfast in Birmingham, prices are reasonable compare to other branches that are over charging. I recommend there keema paratha and chapli kebab tasty and fresh, they make quality karak chai at a good price. I normally stay home for breakfast but I come here twice a week now for breakfast because it’s tasty and good customer service.

The food here wasn’t as we expected we order paratha all and keema also cheese naan and keema samousa and cheese burger 🍔 paratha was over cooked and very hard naan was ok but tasteless samousa was tasty burger was ok . The price is very reasonable we paid 16£ Hygiene is good place was clean , service was ok they took time to clean the tables but very polite and quick Over all 2 starts because the taste was not that good

Great desi food. We had desi breakfast and aloo paratha. Price is pretty good for serving size. Omelette is tasty but it felt a bit oily so if you are someone who prefers less oil in your food you can communicate this beforehand. Chaye is great and tbh even better than Chai wala. Overall a good economical desi spot for a casual meal.

I have order meat samosas here multiple times and I must say that these are some of the best meat samosas in Birmingham. The vegetable samosa and pakoras are also lovely. They are always really fresh and delicious. These really went down as a treat at work, and I’ve had multiple colleagues ask where they are from. The staff are really lovely and really accommodate to your needs. I highly recommend this place to everyone, the staff, service, hygiene and food is amazing

2nd time I tried this place The first time it was on ok but quality has been compromised curry’s tasted like they have gone bad maybe to do with the hot weather and fridge not working properly

The food is tasty and affordable for 20 quid can get 3 curries and 6 roti feed the whole family, the curry to try is the beef nihari and keema parotta and desi channa and the brothers are pleasant and welcoming thanks will be round soon

The food is 10/10 had the all day nastha paratha was beautiful and the dahl handi amazing. Cannot fault this places food at all,will be back again 100%. This is the third roti/curry place in Alum Rock. Figured I might as well try them at the very least to see how they compare. One big plus here is that u get 3 roti thrown in with each curry. I ordered the chicken handi and there were two massive leg pieces on the bone in there not chicken breast. Did not really enjoy it. Also ordered a garlic naan which was covered in some sort of paste with two sheesh kebabs. The kebabs were not too bad. Just an average place to be honest.

Terrible quality small and burnt nans. Long wait as Chef is very slow, if there was an option I would upload the photos of the baby size and burnt nans sold by the owner himself. If I owned the business , I would never give such quality to any customer.

I travelled 8 miles today and it was worth it. I saw this place on tiktok and I said to my self I need to try this. The paratha was freshly made none of this frozen nonsense. The desi omelette was on point and so was the chana. There was a little achar on the side which was a beautiful touch. My wife loved the chicken pakora with the firing chilli sauce. The price was amazing £7 for a filling breakfast. I have found my go to breakfast place.
