I think they may have some nice things but I ordered some chicken on rice and it was as if they put half a jar of 5 spice in it. So hard to eat I had to throw it away. That said they may have some nice options.

Popped in for lunch and had a toasted sandwich. Would not recommend. Won't be back as really poor quality.

Popped in for Breakfast on a trip to London. All pre-packed rolls or baquettes so a bit disappointed there was no cooked breakfast available. Otherwise cafe was clean and food was Ok, but just heated in a pannini press.

Do a belter chicken and bacon baguette. Have a good variety of food of a lunch time! Cheap and cheerful for a central London cafe!

Situated next to the Tate Modern. Poor selection of food, The kids enjoyed their sandwiches. I ordered a bacon and brie wrap that was filled with lettuce and very little bacon or brie. I did the mistake to ask it toasted, couldn't finish, can't stand hot salad. Quite cheap considering the location but won't go back again.

Walking from St Thomas' Hospital to the Shard on a really hot day, it seemed a good place to stop for a drink and a snack. It was baking hot inside and the counter staff member was not very friendly. (she was probably hot and fed up working in a place that looked quite good but needed some decent aircon) We each had a cappucino and a Danish Pastry. The coffees din't have much coffee taste but were mostly hot milk. The pastries were stale. The Barrista was friendly. All in all a disappointment.

For London, this place is fairly cheap, however it really does show that you pay for quality. The jacket potato with cheese and beans I had was really dry, and none of the other options look particularly appetising. would recommend only as a last resort!

Bit of a builders cafe, get what you see type of options available. Cheap and cheerful, theres definitely plenty of alternatives nearby to get something much heartier and fullfilling. Well priced menu, just lacks options for dietary requirements

I'd say this was a builders cafe with a few extra additions. If you're looking at delicately flaky pastries then go to M&S. The food is fast, functional and cheap. Their boxed meals tend to be 90% rice and 10% meat which is thinly sliced but edible nonetheless. I go there as a last resort.

There is never a bad meal in here. Sandwiches panini baguette salads Sauce rolls pastries cakes soups etc etc Hot or cold food all kinds of drinks and at a reasonable London price. Bearing in mind the expensive Borough market is only round the corner. Please visit good fast service.

This place was here before the gentrification. It used to be the only place to get a sandwich around there. The staff are the same and so are the sandwiches - they are simple but not expensive. it's always busy at lunch and service is quick.

Somewhat disoriented we went in on a hot day, almost got knocked over by the lack of air conditioning, stumbled to the prepared salad counter and picked two that satisfied our immediate need. Little known to us, the Marks and Spencer Good Eats was only a half block or so away --- much better quality, price, service. Why does this place exist?

The food is much what you would expect from an establishment providing fast food for the surrounding business and tourist community. The service of the staff is somewhere between poor and terrible. I went here with some business colleagues, one of my group was treated...

This was a great place showing the World Cup - would definitely go back again to watch other sporting fixtures. Big jugs of beer make ordering easy and the atmosphere was great.

From the outside Grinders looks like a nice family owned cafe where you'd expect personal service and nice home cooked food. This is a facade. No one even acknowledged me when I came in making me thin

Dreadful place. Over priced, very rude owner who is also openly racist towards customers. AVOID. By buying from here you are giving your money to a person known locally to be racist and discriminatory

When we first saw the bar, we suspected that it would be expensive but in fact its prices are very reasonable for London. There was a friendly welcome and prompt service, with a good selection of beer
