Very poor experience. There were 6 tables including ourselves and every table bar one complained. Coffee is a cup of frothy milk, no taste of coffee whatsoever. Another table also complained about this. Slow service. Dirty tea cup, asked for a replacement which was worse than the first one. £9 for a small breakfast, you would expect produce of a better quality. Sausages taste like Iceland’s bag of 25 for £2. Barely a mouthful of bacon after removing the fat. Bland and tasteless food and stale toast. Such a shame, this cafe could have great potential due to location.

We had two toasted tea cakes and tea for two. £14.50! Tea cakes were toasted within an inch of burning but they were tasty and fruit filled. Male staff member was pleasant enough and helpful but did not seem that at ease with what he was doing.

Visited on Tuesday 27/8/24 with my son for breakfast. We arrived at 11.10am and placed an order for one large breakfast £11.00 and one small breakfast £9.00. I told the assistant/girl I was intolerant to gluten and specified I didn’t want hash brown or toast she advised I could have more bacon. I requested no black pudding on my son’s large breakfast. 45 mins later my son received his breakfast!! It had black pudding on it! Which he had requested he didn’t want. And it most definitely wasn’t a big breakfast it was so small and good such poor quality. My small breakfast came out 5 mins after my sons, so I had waited 50mins for a breakfast! On my so called gluten free breakfast they had put a hash brown on it and just put toast on top of the breakfast!! I specifically requested them to leave these off because of my gluten in tolerance but they just didn’t follow what I asked for. There is a sign in the cafe to advise members of staff if you have any intolerances, but when I mentioned mine it was clearly ignored. The staff in the cafe need more training where intolerances are concerned as if they don’t follow basic practices you could end up hospitalising someone. The breakfast was really poor.the sausage was burnt, teaspoon of beans, one rasher of bacon and one egg definately not worth 9.00!!!! I couldn’t really eat mine for reasons above. They have 7 tables in the cafe , so it’s only small but for some reason they clearly couldn’t cope with the tables being full. It’s rare that I leave reviews but I felt I had to leave one this time. Definately would not be returning!!!

Tables not cleaned between guests, we had to ask and even then did not clean the whole table, still lots of food from previous people left on half the table. The crumbs that were cleaned were just brushed straight onto the floor! Hot chocolate was very good, however.

I feel slightly begrudged giving this cafe a star. We visited this cafe as the main Seahouses cafe was closed. Walked past rosemarys a few times and from its appearance it looked like a popular place to stop so we tried it for breakfast… big mistake. We ordered the sausage bap, not sure how you can get this wrong. Sausages tasteless and tiny, bread dry and again tasteless, I added extra onions, flash fried and gave no extra flavour. Tomato sauce cheapest you could find. My partner ordered the big breakfast and for £11, what a disappointment. Toast seemed stale, sausages as described previously, bacon, tomato, mushrooms all of cheap quality and a spoonful of beans to compliment. There was nothing big about this breakfast, tasted like it was cooked yesterday. Ate what we could then left. Including two coffees the bill was £23, can only presume it’s expensive due to its location because what we were served wasn’t worth anywhere close to what we paid. Wouldn’t return, wait for the chip shops to open at lunchtime.

If you like coffee, avoid at all costs, extraction was poor. Coffee wasn’t tamped and then the girl on the machine pressed the button again after it had extracted, and steam wands weren’t wiped after and look like they had never been cleaned. Tasted absolutely awful, if there wasnt other customers in at the time i would have just asked for a refund and left it, On the otherhand girl on till was very pleasant and the food that people had looked nice

Called in for a breakfast, large breakfast, regular breakfast and 2 teas £23. Bit taken aback with the price, if it had been quality food, fair enough, but 2 cheap sausages, 2 fried eggs (hard),2 hash browns, 2 thin slices of bacon, I think 1 mushroom and a spoonful of beans, 3 cherry tomatoes and a slice of toast, oh and some rockhard blackpudding, that was the large. Tea was wazzy and the place was freezing.

In all honesty, the worst cafe I have ever visited. Service takes an age, unclean tables, bland, undercooked food, bad coffee. The young waitress’ were nice and apologetic, but clearly untrained and out of their depth. I felt bad for them, management could clearly help support them better. The pervading smell of old chip fat was definitely off-putting as was the dodgy metal -ish music being played when we visited in search of a sit down and a snack. The teeniest ever teapot reluctantly dribbled out two cups of tea into the equally tiny cup. But the cheese scone was to die for. Perfect size and temperature. A dream! June 2022... we came back in search of cheese scone heaven and a cuppa after a boat trip. We won't be back again. Customer service amounts to 'service with a sneer', a smile is definitely off the menu as were the cheese scones unfortunately. What a sad place with staff who obviously don't want to work there. We had an awful experience in this cafe, waited ages to get served when we eventually did a whole crowd came in and got served at the counter. We waited and waited and waited for our meal along with the rest of the cafe. We then realised all the food was being taken out to the crowd outside who ordered after everyone inside! We were told they’d ordered first when we queried it, when I said they hadn’t she said ours would be five minutes, we’d already waited 45! 15 minutes later no food and as we were talking to other tables about how long we’d waited she said you’d better leave it and we came out after an hour with no food! Popped into Hook chippy and had excellent service, good food and NO WAIT! I recommend you don’t bother wasting your time here.
