Limoncello in Northumberland

This was a recommendation from a local and we were indifferent as I always just assume an Italian will be pizza and pasta. The place has a really nice feel when you enter and we were immediately seated. There’s a lovely outside space for dog owners if it’s dry. Pleasantly surprised with the day’s specials which were all seafood dishes and none had either pasta or a pizza base. Between us we enjoyed scallops, monkfish, sea bass and cod. Every bite was wonderful. The chef came out to check on us, and the service was spot on. Would highly recommend.

Food, drinks and service were top notch. The atmosphere is lively and friendly and staff make you feel really welcome. The quality of food is amazing and prices are very good. Try it you will not be disappointed!

JUST WOW! We were staying next door and was recommended eating here by the very helpful Vera. I’m so glad! We had such a great night with wonderful food, perfect atmosphere and superior service. The whole team couldn’t do enough to make our night a memorable one. And I have to make mention extraordinary value for the quality of our experience. Big thank you to Vera, Zoltar (please forgive me if I have this wrong) and the team, I just wish we could have stayed longer so we could go again.

My partner and I visited today for lunch, travelling from Newcastle. This has always been our favorite spot in Berwick for food and drinks, and the beer terrace, but unfortunately, today was a huge disappointment. From the start, service was extremely poor. Our waiter didn’t seem to know what a fruity cider was and had to check. Then, despite there being only three other tables occupied, we waited over 45 minutes for our starter—just two portions of potato skins. Even after prompting who seemed to be the manager, who insisted ‘it’s coming now’ it still took another 20 minutes to arrive. To make matters worse, our garlic bread (ordered as a main) arrived at the same time, clearly the result of a mix-up we could see happening in the kitchen. While waiting for our mains, we ordered a wine and a beer, insisting that our mains be brought out as soon as possible—even as we were still eating our starters. However, after a long wait, we cancelled the drinks and asked for water instead, only to be told shockingly, "Sorry, there’s no one to do drinks today." When our mains finally arrived (delivered by the chef in chef whites !!!) —a calzone and a pasta dish—they completely underwhelming. By this point, we just wanted to leave. The meal deal included dessert or coffee, but we declined and left as soon as possible. To top it all off, when I went to pay at the bar, I was hurried through the process by a more experienced waitress, only for my partner to later realize we had been overcharged by £8. We quickly got the money back in cash, but by then, the experience had already been ruined. Overcharged for this experience - sums up the disappointing service! The restaurant seemed incredibly disorganised! From what started as a perfect day, this meal was a real letdown. Such a shame, as this used to be one of our favourite places!

We eat out a lot and were looking forward to this meal but oh my god it must be the worst meal we have ever had if this place continues to serve food like this it will close. The excuse for such bad food was the chef was on Ramadan and un able to taste his sauces etc

Lovely Italian restaurant next door to apartment we stayed at. The food was excellent and terrific value for money. Vera our host and all the staff were very attentive and highly recommend this restaurant if your in the town of Berwick.

Booked for 7.00 pm but kept waiting till 7.20. We are a tolerant family and admire good manners. We didn't receive any apology, in fact very little was said to us apart from taking our order. However, a very popular restaurant.

The night we were in it was quite quiet, so we got a table very quickly, drinks were ordered, and a food order was taken. The bar staff were quick and efficient but the food was served slowly The food was delicious, well presented and good portion sizes. The toilets were clean and fresh We gzve been in a few times in the past and it had been very busy, with many more staff. This is a good restaurant so give it a try.

Nice place reasonably priced , enjoy

Popped in for lunch and was delightfully surprised. 3 course set lunch menu was great value for money, venue was warm and had a cracking relaxed vibe. Food was better than we had expected. We will definitely be back next time we visit Berwick.

We were greeted by a cheerful waiter. Interesting interiors. Reasonably price for food. We had the Arancini stuffed with cheese.. beautiful!. I ordered the surf and turf with med-rare fillet done perfectly and unexpected surprise with mussels and juicy prawn. The tap in the bathroom is inspiring and would use that design in future. We went on a Saturday at 5pm and very lucky to get a table without waiting but do recommend booking.

Delicious food, great service, beautiful atmosphere, and amazing prices! The staff here are incredibly welcoming and despite eating their lunch when we came in, they were so welcoming, happily served us and even allowed us to take in our dog! I ordered the Roma Pasta and it was SOOOO good (the waiter came to collect our plates and I was scraping the excess sauce off my bowl it was so good🤣). Would definitely come here again, everything was great! Even the toilets had great decor! 10/10, 5 stars, thank you Limoncello!! :) ❤️❤️

Arrived on 2 Jan expecting a lovely meal with our friends to celebrate New Years. However, it was so so so cold inside the restaurant. Yes it was cold outside but the door beside the toilets, where we were seated, was open for a long time to allow a delivery. All the diners had their jackets on and shaking. We mentioned to our server that we were all freezing but he just shrugged his shoulders. The drinks arrived and to be honest we were so cold we should have ordered a pot of tea. However when we did taste the cokes and lemonades, they were flat and tasteless. We mentioned this to our waiter when he brought the starters and he said he probably forgot to change the syrups after New Year’s Eve. The drinks were replaced no problem. The table we were sat at was lovely in appearance, however as it was marble and the temperature in the restaurant where we were sat was around freezing with a gale blowing in our feet, the meals cooled so much before we had a chance to eat them. The marble was so cold we couldn’t even rest our arms on it, even with jackets on. The soup and pastas were lovely, cold but lovely. The pepperoni pizza was cut into 8 slices but only had 5 thin slivers of pepperoni therefore 3 slices were margarita. This was a first anywhere we have ever been! However the ice cream was a huge disappointment for an Italian restaurant and the coffee was vile and was left untouched even though we were frozen. The hand dryer in the gents was broken also. When we mentioned the extreme coldness and the broken hand dryer to the lady who came to collect our payment, she simply said it was cold outside. Yes and it’s freezing in here, look at everyone. Sitting with jackets on shivering and throughly miserable and couldn’t wait to leave to get a heat. It actually was warmer outside than inside. So disappointed. We messaged the restaurant later on to provide our feedback and we were thanked for our comments and the manager would be in touch. Surprise surprise, radio silence. Would not return. Many lovely places in Berwick to eat where you don’t eat cold food quickly to leave to heat up and be dismissed by indifferent staff.

To think we almost didn't spend our afternoon at Limencello, which ended up to be one of many high lights on our specail family day reunion in berwick upon tweed. Vera kindly let us, a party of 7 sit in the quite part of restaurant, lights & noise was to minimum, the most perfect setting. We all got the £7.99 lunch offer which was phenomenal expecaily how much you get for the offer, starter-main & ice cream or coffee. Unreal absolute bargain. My niece & sister in law both had Strawberry Daiquiris and loved it so much. We had Vera accommodating us, she was so lovely, friendly, accommodating, excellent customer service and even cracked few Jokes. She was such a joy and must truly enjoy entertaining & making customers happy. Having worked front line in 4 & 5 star hotels, am all about customer service. Vera truly is like a shooting star, you rarely get to see that level of high standard & friendly customer service. I was truly blown away! Thank you so much Vera you made our time that extra specail! We all loved our time at Limecello wonderful place

For a Christmas family (group of 7, 5Adults+2Teens) gathering we found a lovely base for our night together at the Premier Inn hotel. We were not planning to have lunch at this Italian, as we were at the next door bar which was great also and not too far from hotel We had a peek at the restaurant on the way out and spoke to the staff about lunch. They were so inviting into this little lovely atmospheric place that we could not resist. It was especially inviting as we were looking for a bit of quietness with low lighting due to family needs. They were closing off a section as it was the end of lunch service. It looked perfect for our needs and Vera invited us to occupy the space for lunch. So we did and it was just amazing. The Christmas atmosphere was perfect level of decorations and music loudness. The service was good from all but Vera, who served us the most, stood out. She was supportive, energetic, funny, accommodating, and you felt that she was going the extra mile on her service with a genuine smile and warmth, to a level I’ve not seen in a long time! Well done Vera, you made our visit an amazing one. And I’ve not even talked about the food yet. A £7.95 three course lunch, a bargain nowadays! It was wonderful! And the quality and portion size was great. Choose soup or potato skins as starter, any pizza or pasta you want followed by ice cream or coffee. Thank you so much! Love you Vera!

They know what they're doing when it comes to carbonara. 5 stars would be the carbonara at an authentic italian restaurant in Bowness, Windermere, The Lakes that I can't remember the name of.

Average sunday lunch, be warned its cash only which is odd.

Atmosphere seemed lively with lots of people in, the bar area looked good too. The service was pretty nice with someone coming in and explaining everything. The food was a bit disappointing, didn't feel Italian at all. The taste was pretty similar for dishes and had very unusual ingredients (not bad, but just not Italian).

With a few small improvements this could be a great place

Very very good value set meal for lunch...

3 course lunch special exceptional value. Would have preferred soup hotter but the main course was delicious....tagliatelle bolognese and pizza, both very tasty. A single scoop of ice cream for desert but at that price no complaints. New starter server who was very pleasant.

Four of us had dinner here on Thursday, 14th Nov. Food is excellent,good service ,friendly staff, lovely restaurant. Will be eating there again on our next visit to Berwick. Thankyou.

Food was delicious and great value for money. However the service was so poor. Food and drink order was taken very quickly and arrived in good time. However once our server had taken the order we never saw him again. Had to try and flag another member of staff for more drinks, asked us if we wanted the bill before our drinks had even arrived then when we were ready to leave had to go to the restaurant bar to request the bill. All in all wouldn’t be back as service was not great which is a shame as food was good!

We stayed 4 nights in Berwick and ate here 3 times. Not only was the food delicious, but it was also excellent value for money. Thank you Limoncello.

This restaurant was devine we got there on Friday the 15/10/25 at 8.30pm and got a table even though it was busy and we didn't book. The staff were all lovely and the food was delicious and even the bar was so relaxing and friendly. The only thing I would say is that the portion sizes were small cause I normally struggle to eat a full bowl spaghetti bolognaise, and I scrapped the plate. Lol😆

Great value for lunch..3 adults lunchtime special including 3 soft drinks £32.00. We have had better but not at that price. No complaints at all though. Lovely young staff, I hope they are appreciated...

Lovely food and great atmosphere too.

Having been to this restaurant previously our group was looking forward to Sunday lunch. There was a large group of us this had been pre booked and deposit paid as requested. We had to wait 40 mins to be sat at the pre booked table. When taking orders man was rude. Food came out at all different times a few starters then a wait of 15 / 20 mins and then rest came out same issues with main meal. When asking where rest of food was we got told to shush! Some meals had no mash potatoes - no apology or offer of something in replacement! Just there isn't any! This was at 2 o'clock so not at end of service and again this was pre booked! At the end when asking for bill the deposit had not been took off. When explaining a deposit had been paid at there request and had not been took off final bill we where asked if we had any proof this had been paid - they did not send any proof to us so only had bank transfer. They also did not hold any proof! We were made to feel very unwelcome and unappreciated that we where spending money in the restaurant!

Horrible service, no one seems to care about you. They forgot our food and took over 50 mins for it to finally come out! And then tried to bring mains before the starter. The only thing that is decent about this place is the price.

It was a quieter day, service a little slow waitress preoccupied with another gentleman behind the bar. We have had better experiences here and generally love to come to Limoncello maybe an off day

7.95 for a three course lunch, which is very good value for some pretty good food. Incredible number of waiting staff, none of which seemed to have any training. Be prepared for a bit of chaos and some weird/ loud music choices. Can’t complain about value however

What can I say. Food was fairly tasty but service was diabolical Way too busy. A large queue of people who had booked a table and made to wait. Lots of staff but no organisation. Asked for the kids food to come out with our starters but It didn’t. Asked for a second round of drinks which didn’t come. A large group sat near to us who had booked table for 2pm. They weren’t seated until 3.10pm and as they started to give their Sunday lunch orders they were quickly told they’d ran out of Sunday dinners. They weren’t seated until very rightly annoyed. The manager didn’t care in the slightest and even said he didn’t think it was a problem that they hadn’t bother to tell them during their 70 minute wait in the bar. Another table had a mix of people who were missing mashed potato as apparently the kitchen had ran out. Absolute shambles. First and last time visiting. The fact they’re cash only is frustrating too

Good value for money for Sunday roast special

The food was ok but the waiters were unfriendly, didn't speak to us and just plonked the plates on the table and walked off.

Knew it was gonna be an interesting meal when diet coke tasted like a cheap brand. Calamari cheap processed and rubbery zero flavour, cheesey garlic or dough as it was undercook was drenched in oil. The garlic mushrooms were bland and flavourless and didnt taste of garlic. Friends carbonara looked like a microwave meal from tesco, bacon was burnt and dish was cold and an insult to carbonara. Pizza was dry and sauce flavourless. Waiter done me favour by asking if I was finished before I was done eating, as it meant putting of the disappointment in my body. This restaurant needs less dishes and to actually focus on being an Italian restaurant. New chef needed.

Very poor service 50 min wait for a drink to come out to table booked a table for guests and wheelchair user . No table saved for us despite being on time ! Told half hour wait ! Food came out still no drinks not much to say about the food not that warm lots of sauce and pasta not much else have been here a few times last year we thought quality of food had slipped but thought would go maybe just a one off . It's cheap for a reason . I would avoid this place . After the drink finally arrived I had to ask for another tea cup as 3 big chips out of the rim! Disgraceful ! Have your cash ready as they don't take cards !

We booked a table and had to wait 20 minutes as they had given our table away even though we arrived early, we had to wait 40 minutes for our order and after our food turned up first it was another 10 minutes until our drinks arrived. The staff ignored us several times until one of us had to go up to the bar to tell them we hadn't had our drinks. The food was alright but not what we were expecting for a restaurant, over all not a good experience. We booked a table as we had a wheelchair user with us but still had to get him up the step. Not very acceptable.

The most dreadful meal I have had out ever. We had booked for 7pm and stood in a long line with no information. Server attitude was awful, they couldn’t care and constantly ignored us. Once sat, they took 40 mins to take our order after moving us table. We waited another 45 mins for a food, which was very average and the carbonara was awful. Cutlery was dirty and when asked for a new set, none was returned. When we finally went to pay, the table next to us paid and said it was the worst experience ever and would never return. Awful experience to end our holiday, will never return.

Good food, service slow but it was busy, short changed when bill was paid

Money laundering at its best. Refused to take card payment. Eventually took card payment but refused to give a VAT receipt, saying they didn’t understand. It was a business expense for us. They gave a VAT number but still refused a breakdown. Then got quite aggressive. Not worth it for a mediocre pizza and rubbish service.

Thought the menu looked good so thought we would try while we are on a short break. Ordered the starter from the specials menu- beetroot, whipped feta, walnuts & balsamic, the feta came wrapped in ham, I don't eat ham .... sent it back and changed for Minestrone which was nice but a very small portion. Ordered veggie pasta and for £7.95 added king prawns, I got two! Ordered peanut butter cheesecake in the hopes of finally getting some protein, could hardly taste the PB, mostly chocolate and sugar. We had thought we might come back while we are her, but we won't. Piped music was very loud which made people talk loudly so difficult to hear each other.

Food absolutely fine, as was the service. Shock was being told they don't take card when we wanted to pay! My poor husband had to run out in the rain to the bank for cash. Next day I spotted a small blackboard about 8 inc square, in the bushes outside, with a small handwritten notice saying they don't accept cards.

Brilliant food. Really enjoyed our experience. Visited twice in our one week visit.

Sadly we can't review the food as we left before we even ordered. Greeted by a sour faced curt female who asked if we had enough cash as there was no card payments. Seated and waited a while before she took our drinks orders.... Both drinks were unavailable. Rose!! And a shandy, neither available. They young lass proceded to inform the sour faced female that she had told her this morning there was no rose. She recieved a death glare !! I felt extremely uncomfortable. The draught at the table was terrible, asked to move. Grumpy told we could if we have to. We left instead, a restaurant that only accepts cash (tax dodgers) couldn't provide a rose wine or a lager shandy!! Definitely no service with a smile.

Enjoyed our visit, couldn't really fault the place, if I'm back in Berwick in the near future I shall return.

We went back again as we had visited a couple of years ago as it was outstanding. We had booked a table for 7pm and arrived just before 7pm to then have to stand and wait for 20 minutes to get a table, despite having a booking. Once we got a table it was fine, good atmosphere, good service and great food. Not to mention great value. Being cash only is very strange. By chance we had some cash on us, but normally we wouldn't and more warning than a tiny sign next to the till is necessary. Good restaurant but let down by their booking system which they need to get a grip of.

Just finished a meal in here which was really not enjoyable at all. I can't find a single positive to share from our trip other than the decor of the place, but I'm plucking at straws with that. Utterly shambolic as well, over crowded and staff clearly left to try and make it work, with more reservations taken than they can deal with. Far too noisy as well. It's clearly more suited to being a bar/drinking venue, than a restaurant. The food though was shocking. The soft drink I ordered tasted like a cheap cola. I left over half of my pizza, which was of such poor quality. Dessert wasn't even an option for us based on the starters and mains. We certainly weren't the only ones left massively unimpressed, as the table next to us had reason to send one of their dishes back and observed various other patrons with similar issues.

Was shown to cubicle seating with ripped upholstery - not a good start. My calamari starter was cold, rubbery and surprisingly few in number. The main course of fillet of beef stroganoff was served only just warm which was returned. The meat in the second attempt was tough and chewy which was also returned. No alternative was offered. The waiter was rude, indifferent and sarcastic asking if the rice was also not to my liking.

Passed it a few times when been visiting from edinburgh always thought it looked beautiful from the outside. Today we finally popped in for lunch. Didn't disappoint food was outstanding, great prices and atmosphere.

This was the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. Everything from coming in and being welcomed by friendly staff, to having a drink, to decide to stay for food (I only came in for a drink) and I’m very glad I stayed. The starter king prawns were so full of flavour. The carbonara the same (I added chicken and it didn’t dissapoint). Service spot on also. I see there’s bad reviews on here but don’t let them put you off this amazing place, come try for yourself!

let me start off by saying, the food was lovely, the price was good and the restaurant decor was lovely but unfortunately that’s where the loveliness ends. We came as a family of 4 adults and a 1 year old, we were give a nice big table by the bar but once seated, we waited 20 minutes until someone came and took our drink order (staff were constantly walking past and i caught eyes with many waiters) which after that long, we asked them to take our food order too. My husband ordered mussels to start which he said were lovely, and i had ordered salt and chilli wings. I thought it was unusual to see these on an italian menu so thought i would give these a try. They were absolutely delicious but have no right to be called a salt and chilli wing. i was served 3 chicken wings in a spicy red kind of sauce with soft onions. i’m unsure what kind of sauce it was. For mains we had ordered a children’s pasta, a pizza, a steak and 2 beef stroganoffs. the steak and a stroganoff arrived to the table with someone else’s steak. We explained it wasn’t ours to which the waiter looked confused and seemed to look at another member of staff, presumably his superior before taking it back. Another stroganoff and the pizza arrived and he said he’ll be back with some chips (small portion) and i mentioned the kids meal and the salads. Chips arrived and no salads or kids meal so i mentioned it again. Nearly 10 minutes had passed with my in laws missing part of their meal and the 1 year old having nothing apart from his dad’s chips. i asked a passing member of staff, who i presume was a superior/supervisor/manager/host and he asked me to remind him what the kids meal was and then went back to the kitchen. It arrived a couple minutes later in a scorching hot bowl and far too hot to eat. As the high chair has no table to it, and the bowl was too hot i had to blow on the pasta to cool it and put it on the table for him to pick up as he doesn’t like to be spoon fed. A short while later the same waiter came to take the food away, i’d barely swallowed my pizza crust and my little boy had half a bowel of pasta left before it was just took away. It seems that everything that happens, such as delays and mix ups are everyday occurrences here as the staff seem accustomed to it and don’t offer real apologies. After reading other reviews, seems our opinion was correct. Safe to say we will not be returning, it’s a shame as i thought the food was lovely but the service is shocking. also bear in mind that it’s cash only!

Hello, My wife and I had dinner here. We have good and bad aspects. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired for both of us during the evening, although we could see that the service from other guests was very good. We waited 30 minutes for our food only to find out when we asked that our order had been lost. In the end a beer was deducted from our bill. But we couldn't get any added value from this as card payments weren't possible that evening and the ATM around the corner only dispensed £10 and £20 notes. Since we, as tourists from Germany, didn't want to take too much cash with us on our last evening in England, we still gave a tip of more than 10%. Ultimately, we also have to say that the food was very tasty and worth the price.

Food was excellent , prices very good for quality but I’d pay a bit more if they trained their staff properly. Almost too cheap at £21 for a fillet steak Rossini. One or two staff were good but sultry youths with clearly no training “dumping “ food on the table and walking away without a word not good. Baskets of chips placed directly i table, no steak knife - Having to ask for side plates and re ask for drinks ordered unacceptable. Also, ambience needs addressing. Tables too wide, lighting poor and “country rock” music in the background not ideal. Wouldn’t take much to make it a great place to eat as food, drink and pricing is good but customer service and ambience lets it down. Final point - cash only as machines were down yet bar next to it and owned by them worked? Was this an attempt at cutting charges from bank as there was a cash machine outside? Charge a bit more and give better service is my advice for what it’s worth.

Food was terrible. My husband had beef stroganoff made with fillet steak but never known it to be tough!!! His chips were cold and when complained the young waiter just threw the replacement on the table without a word and walked off. Think he needs lessons in table etiquette. I ordered pollo limoncello that should have been stuffed with olives and peppers - found 2 olives and 1 strip of pepper!!! I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone. The food and service leave a lot to be desired. It's a shame as I visit lots of Italian restaurants in Manchester and I've never had a bad experience.

Went here after a wander around Berwick. The food was good, but that's where the good dining experience ends. The staff looked like they didn't want to be there, and when I asked our waiter to repeat the question, he had asked my wife , it was as if he was talking to a school kid. When our food arrived, it was heavy handedly put on the table, and the waiter reached across me to give my wife her food. The plates were splattered with the sauce from the dish and should have been wiped before leaving the kitchen, so the presentation was not good. We then waited ages for the dessert menu to arrive, but it didn't come, so we went to the bar, paid and left. A lovely venue sadly let down by it's staff.

A super restaurant with a nice atmosphere the food and service excellent.

Meal was ok. The service was a little slow. Other orders placed after ours coming out first. The food was not that hot and the puddings sent out were not as described and expensive fir what they were needed a teaspoon as it was that small. Prices on the outside shown menu were different to the menu inside.

Had a lovely meal sitting outside today which was a treat, really enjoyed the food, they were very busy so I had to fetch our menus and ask for cutlery and condiments but apart from that we had a great time.

Came her for Sunday lunch few weeks ago. Granted I didn’t book because it was all last minute but they said they could get us a table in 30 mins so we sat in the bar waiting. They were coming to get people who come in after us so after 30 mins I went to the desk to ask how much longer we were to wait and they said a further 30 mins, I addressed that we had already waited 30 mins and felt forgotten about and they sharp found us a table. When we got a table there was no menus a had to go find a waiter to get menus, and then nobody come to take our order a had to grab somebody’s attention for that. We wanted Sunday dinner and nobody had told us they had ran out of Sunday dinner so then felt rushed with ordering something else. I ordered carbanara, partner ordered steak and then a garlic bread with cheese to share. We then got our food before our drinks. They advertise its coke on the pump, it’s defo not coke. It was flat, tasted awful and I returned them and asked for lemonade; don’t no why I bothered because I got the lemonade at the end of the meal whilest the waiter passed it over my 6 week old daughter spilling it on her pram and fortunately not her! The carbanara was bland but edible, the garlic bread with cheese was under done, couldn’t hold it like a slice and was extremely greasy, my partners steak was covered in salt and pepper. Granted they were busy, I won’t be returning. First and last visit.

Had lunchtime early bird menu. Food was good, service fast and very reasonably priced.

We’ve been here a few times on an annual Berwick visit. The 3 course budget lunch is excellent value for money. I had a chicken, tomato and cheese dish that was delicious. Restaurant was quieter than previous years and service was chaotic with people trying their best but lacked direction. Service also painfully slow, apart from when bill was presented to the table before deserts and coffees had been served. Final straw for me is that they’ve decided to be a cash only business. When I asked why some mumbled excuse about card machines not working. This has been true since March (at least) so as far as I’m concerned this is a choice, not a temporary glitch. . Can’t help wonder if that’s part of the reason it was noticeably quieter.

Lovely friendly place food was very nice could not fault it.Will be going back again when in Berwick

The staff was absolutely amazing here on Monday night! I care for a gentleman with autism and they was so accommodating to his needs! Asked if the music was too loud for him etc! It was his birthday also and they made his evening so special everyone in the restaurant sang to him which really was heart warming ♥️ I didn't catch the names off the two lads who served us but honestly they are a credit to your restaurant! The food was lovely and we didn't have to wait long to be served or receive the food and the cheap bill at the end was also a bonus!!! We will definitely be dining here again when we come back Thankyou for making a boy feel very special and happy on his birthday

Had a couple of nice meals in this restaurant when visiting Berwick this week. Excellent value for good food and the staff. were polite and fast. We had pizza and risotto the first night and a sirloin steak & chicken and cream sauce the 2nd.evening. Both evenings were busy but well organised and Vera exceptional (give her a pay rise!) jaja

Poor service, poor atmosphere. We left before we ordered food as it was so unwelcoming.

Lacking finesse and friendly service from senior staff members. Food ok, (if you’re really hungry). We always leave a cash tip for the sake of others, not necessarily for the quality of the dining experience.

we waited 1 hour 30 mins for our starters then a further 30 mins for our main course...the food was good when it came but service was absolutely appalling! it was very busy, we hadn't booked a table and were seated quite quickly but then waited and waited and waited. if you can't keep up with the demand, don't let so many people into your restaurant at once!!!

Great Italian restaurant with free parking near by and good value food and drinks.

Nice looking place, menu is quite decent. GF options available (not on pizza), service was a tad slow would be my only gripe. However, would recommend

We visited this restaurant whilst on holiday as when we walked past it was really busy so assumed it must be really good, I booked a table whilst walking around the town. When we arrived we chose a table outside as we had our dog with us, I went inside and let the maitre de know we were there, he said he would send someone out, 20 minutes later a waiter arrived to take our drinks order and bring us menus, drinks arrived, 20 minutes later and no one to take our food order I went inside and he said someone would come out, we placed our order and an hour after our food arrived disappointingly cold, my partner returned the food, it was returned hot and the (I assume manager) suggested we enjoy our food and resolve the service issues later. We did enjoy our food. We then paid our bill and left, b4 we left customers from the tables around us approached us and also said that whilst they enjoyed their meals the service was diabolical and the restaurant as a whole was very random. I do not usually post reviews good or bad but I feel that this restaurant really need to pull their socks up in regards to customer service.

This place was incredibly busy, and unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. Its a nice place to have a drink with friends and family. And to our disappointment, they only accepted cash payments.

Vera very kindly and hospitably took us in when the kitchen was just closing. After a long day travelling back from the south of England and being reunited with my other half after 10 days this was much appreciated! We’ll be back 😊
