Lovely coffee in London's Paddington area

Thoughtful, generous and friendly staff. Wide range of good food at excellent price. Basic but comfortable seating for 10ish people. Good veggie options too

Place is let down by the customers that hang around dealing drugs, insulting people and making it impossible to want to return to this cafe. Food is good but because of all the hooligans this place allows to deal in illegal substances and the many fights that break out some with knives you should avoid here !

The drinks I bought were warm, I'm not talking about Caffe late or expresso.

Reasonably priced shisha with attentive service and Lebanese food made to order. Although many of the more traditional Middle Eastern menu options were unavailable on the evening I visited, our server suggested tasty alternatives at a price satisfactory to us - without any surprises when the final bill was presented!

Food was good, coffee was good. Highly recommend. Would come again😄

it's to expansive for one karak tea I pay 5 pound and the owner is rude I am not happy at all with 5 pound people can have one meal not just a tea

Llamado el lunes. Tuve el desayuno. Magnífico. Hay mucho, gran valor. También tenía el jugo de naranja fresco ~ uno de los mejores, nunca. Naranjas realmente recién exprimidas. Café encima. . . Sentado afuera en el sol.

Ok place but wouldn't go back, got the breakfast meal was cold and portions are really odd. Nice people, good customer service.

Excellent Middle Eastern café with delicious Middle Eastern food. English food is available also and they do great breakfasts. You can also relax with a Shisha and coffee or the awesome Karak Chai and chat to the great mix of clientele. Highly recommended.

Best karak chai I've had in London

The only best shisha at Edgware Road area.

Right opposite the Tesco Express if you want to have a quick lunch and sheesha this is the place!!! Latte is good. An old style cafe for only £15 you can have an amazing sheesha freshly prepared with a free Chai Nana. The sandwiches are good too. A must try if you live around the Paddington area.

I was looking for a quick lunch near my hotel, and wandered into the Rose Cafe. The breaded chicken breasts in the display case looked tasty, and I wound up having one, on a baguette, with some roasted potatoes. The chicken and the potatoes were tasty. The cost was four pounds. I can recommend this little eatery.

Before everything got gentrified this is what cafes used to be like. A proper menu, proper tea and coffee, friendly staff, very affordable. It could do with a little music on in the background but otherwise a very nice place to be.

It was a great choice to have the best karak tea while in London.. you can choose it with ginger, cardamom or other herbs. The sandwiches are so tasty and cooked very well . Outside seats were so wonderful.. For the breakfast we enjoyed the Shakshoka which made like home..

Established cafe, no frills. Value for money, good greasy spoon fry up! Excellent portions and good coffee. Clean tables and menus, toilet really let the place down though. Table service was a bonus. Glad they were open on a Sunday morning, fixed us...

The food was disgusting and completely awful. I had lamb curry which was frozen for £10. I don't mind the price if they were good, so I had to tell them. The waiter denied the food was not fresh, but admitted it was taken out of refridgerator. Are you selling me frozen lamb for £10 a piece? Most certain not coming back. I suggest the food might be re-cooked again and again and again. There are many Mid-East restaurants in Paddington, make sure it's NOT Rose Café.

Hard to find a decent latte or flat white in london, but this place is excellent. Friendly service, well priced and excellent coffee. Personally havent eaten here so cant comment on the food but people seem to enjoy it, albeit it looks a bit basic.

Cosy cafe to have a warm delicious wrap at! They serve panini, baguette, rolls and sandwiches here too. You can sit inside or outside to enjoy your meal or drink. Very close to Edgware Road with all it's hustle and bustle but far enough so as not to have it 'in your face'.

Good cup of coffee, just down road from Paddington Station.

Vi bodde på Tune Hotel Paddington som ikke serverer frokost. Rose Cafe er like ved og her serverte de meget god engelsk frokost, nypresset juice og kaffe.

I tried a few of the wraps and their lentil soup. All were very good, and reasonable price. The wraps were great if you like a liberal amount of sauce (I do, and I do not like dry wraps or sandwiches). This is a take-out place that serves platters and such also, so do not expect any ambience--sitting at a table on the sidewalk though was nice. 5 stars for its price range and taste.

Dropped in after a day of meetings - Had the pickles selection, a latte and a diet coke.The diet coke was great - the pickles super and the latte hit the spot nicely.

My daughter who studied in uk introduce me to this cafe and tried yhe karak tea. It was winter and the egyptian staff there suggest i order the karak tea with ginger. It was a very nourishing experienced and i havent tried karak tea as good as that place. I was at one of the cafe at harrods and the rose cafe karak tea is much better taste.

My friends and I were staying at the Hilton Metropole and stumbled onto the Rose Cafe for breakfast. The simple meal was our best of the trip! I've never had a better ham and cheese croissant in my life.

Rose Cafe is located in the centre of Middle Eastern gastronomy in the UK. My chicken kebab wrap was OK, but not more than OK. Also, my mint tea came with a tea bag, and not fresh mint. I was told that I should have asked for fresh mint.........Overall, I was a little disappointed, but will try a different dish another time.

While on a recent trip to London,my wife and I had supper with several friends at the Rose Cafe in London.The server was extremely pleasant and our food and drinks were brought to us in a very short period of time.The variety of choices on the menu was not extensive but the choices that were available were delicious.We were there for about 3 hours and we were not pressured at all about how long we were there.Each of us had something different to eat and to drink and we all enjoyed our food and drink. We will definitely go back!

Great food, especially BREAKFAST.. other times a bit crowded maybe.. however sometimes favorite food goes missing from the menu like lamb curry, pasta, but overall excellent food and service.. and it's HALAL!..

This is a great little cafe on Praed Street. A very warm and friendly place, and good to kick back and chill on the pavement with some of the best Arabic coffee for miles. We visited here several times during the sunny August bank holiday and were quite taken with the welcome (and the drinks). It's somewhere we'll return to again and again for a pitstop in Paddington.

This little cafe is a short walk from Paddington station. The place is simple and unpretentious and a great place to stop for a break and refreshment. The food is really good Middle Eastern staples and excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and the hospitality and service efficient and welcoming. As a quick stop its difficult to beat - I love it - give it a try if you're in the Paddington area.
