Rosa's Thai Cafe Greenwich in Greenwich

We were a bit disappointed because the portions were quite small and the food was average. The staff were a bit inattentive. It was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend if you want authentic Thai food. The upper room was very loud.

Great quality food which is always hot, always tasty and always served quickly and efficiently. Pricing very reasonable for the quality too!

Lovely staff and good location. Foodwise though, chicken seemed quite wobbly and personally not cooked long enough at all. A lots of hard bits in the noodles soup, a bit like when you add a vanilla pod or bay leaf for flavour but should always be removed before serving … I had to keep removing pieces of it from my mouth. And I think it’s a bit ridiculous that a curry that expensive doesn’t come with rice.

Calamari and fish cakes nice. Papaya salad not spicy, but pad thai was full of dark soy sauce. A table for 2, starter each and shared main and a drink each...table far too small as they serve everything at the same time.

Thai has never been my first choice of cuisine, but I have to say the food here is outstanding. The Thai Green Curry is a delight as is the Panang. The service excellent and staff assisted me in making a dish slightly more bespoke (spicier basically) Would strongly recommend going here. The best Thai meal I have ever had.

I was told when we arrived that they were short staffed . It took ages to even order a drink. Then our starters came before the drinks did . If they were short staffed then stop serving all the takeaway delivers at the front door. The food was well below standard and so was the cleanliness. Obviously more profit for them to make takeaways rather than serve paying customers sat at their tables Do not visit the Greenwich restaurant you will be disappointed ☹️

We had booked, so avoided the queue, only to find our table was right by the door, so an icy chill every time the said door opened. A rustic seat and table, a supposed homage to Thai street food, aka cheap. Waitress took our order and the platters duly arrived; small, but tasty. The mains were spicy, but pricey. Food and beer for 4, with a £15 service charge? nearly £130. Not vfm in my opinion.

I used to like this franchise when it was in a food court at Stratford. We Went in here for a family dinner when I arrived first and taken to a table and ordered a coffee(black or white) black and it came with milk, when it wasn’t even busy and they can get it wrong. Some of their food were still ok, the Battered fried prawns were good, pad Thai was nice as well, most food were full(over) of flavoured but expect to be over charged for your dishes because the portions are very small for the price you’re paying for. Serving was good from the new member of staff who was serving us on that night but the others didn’t really care especially one seems like a manager/supervisor who was talking very loudly to her member of staffs in Thai which was totally unprofessional. Sorry but I will never return to this place again. If you really want authentic Thai food in the area, there’re other places nearby.

I recently dined at this restaurant and overall, the experience left me with mixed feelings. The food was undeniably delicious; my red Thai curry and egg fried rice were bursting with flavor, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her chicken and cashew dish with sticky rice. However, the positives stop at the food.Firstly, the prices here are quite high, and evident from the moment you check the menu. Paying £4 for a side of rice feels exorbitant, and the steep cost of drinks, such as nearly £3 for a can of coke, only added to the financial strain once you also add a couple of starters. Additionally, the service was less than impressive. We found it lacking in attentiveness and friendliness. There was even a service charge added to the bill, which left a sour taste in our mouths.In summary, if you're solely after great-tasting food and don't mind paying a premium, this restaurant might be worth a visit. However, be prepared for the hefty bill, lackluster service, and unexpected service charge.

The chicken fried rice, I’ve tried it at the Rosa Thai cafe in soho and that was delicious. However when I tried the same dish in this Greenwich branch the chicken tasted off. So that ruined the dish for me. The bubble tea with tapioca pearls was nice and refreshing though (just doesn’t give you the option to ask how many sugars you’d like in it!).

Visited with friends for first time. If you are expecting a luxury venue: don’t visit. The cafe interior we loved. It was clean with a busy but friendly atmosphere. Food was fabulous- great kick from some of the dishes. Cocktails were great and the staff were very helpful and quick, coming and asking how quickly we wanted starters/mains to be served. Would definitely come back.

A meal for three. Tables were too tightly packed close to each other leaving no privacy for conversation. Starters of mixed platter was pleasant but my sweet & sour chicken had to be returned, chicken was slimey & chewy. Sticky mango rice pudding wasn’t pleasant, rice stuck together with a drop of mango sauce. When we asked for service charge to be removed from our bill a staff member came to our table demanding a reason for this. I had to repeat myself more than once that service charge is optional and I don’t need a reason not to pay it. I probably wouldn’t return.

My recent experience at Rosa's Thai Restaurant was simply delightful. From the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the fantastic food, it was a fantastic experience. The service was especially noteworthy - JR, our server, was so helpful and friendly. He was very accommodating with our requests, and he was also nice to chat with. The food was delicious - every dish was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned, and the portions were generous. Overall, our afternoon at Rosa's Thai Restaurant was excellent.

Oh crikey - probably the worst Thai I’ve ever had, when they finally remembered to bring the food! This restaurant is mostly geared towards takeaway so the actual customers get pretty neglected. The food was greasy, tasteless and expensive and the service was pretty nonexistent. Best avoided…

Visited here today to celebrate my birthday as a family, we booked for 6.30. We waited for over 20 mins for our starters even though the place was not busy!! At 7.30 the waiter arrived with a bill even though we had not asked for it!! I told him I had not asked for bill and felt that we were being rushed out and wanted to see the dessert menu . He apologised that they were understaffed and were not serving desserts and there was a 7.30 booking, I then told him I would not be paying the £10 service charge because I was very disappointed at being rushed out, he did not seem to care. I had dessert nearby cafe and happened to pass Rosa’s again an hour later and the place was completely empty!!! Awful service, Rosa’s Thai!!

Service and food could not be faulted. It came quickly, was lovely and I would eat here again. It was lovely to see the tables and seating being deep cleaned as well. If offered a seat near the window, decline. They are comfy and clean and we accepted it was near a bus stop on a busy road but the tables outside are an issue. They clearly state on their door that deliveroo couriers must wait outside and they have made arrangements to put the food parcels on a table by the door. Unfortunately the delivery drivers were using the tables outside as their waiting area. They were literally the other side of the glass and stared in at us eating. Luckily there weren’t many drivers. I don’t know how this is solved without removing a few tables and making that area a seating area for people awaiting tables? Maybe a frosting effect on that part of the window to shield that table? Don’t be put off eating here , just sit further in away from door.

Food and service mediocre, nothing like other Rosa's Thai Cafes we have been to. Waited awhile to have our order taken. The staff were busy with the takeaway service, a continual stream of helmeted young men coming in through the door who got priority attention. This was also extremely distracting and resulted in zero ambience in the restaurant. The food arrived immediately, the curry sauce was thin and my tofu tasteless, it felt over cooked and was pretty tasteless. We won't be going back.
