Pho Street in Greenwich

The healing meal we had in London after we had a long walk in Greenwich Park. Phos and buns are so great. The salt and pepper prawns and spare ribs are surprising. Milk teas are good since not so sweet. However the honey green tea is a little too sweet but I forgot to ask if the sugar can be adjusted. Boss is nice and helpful.

Great rare beef pho. Generous with the noodles, hot and tasty broth, well sliced beef, variety of fresh sides (basil, mint, bean sprouts, red onion, chilli). Would definitely come back (visiting from Australia).

The pho was okay, nothing special.

Great food for uni days. Just a bit of feedback- would love to be able to order extra broth. Also would be good if noodles (when ordering delivery) would have a little bit of oil on it to prevent sticking!

Small portions, bland broth and worst of all I also found a hair in my food. I took this to the owner (I think?) and was unapologetically rude and shouting. Would never come here again when there are so many other local gems in the area.

Been here 3 times in 10 years. I always leave very underwhelmed and somewhat regretful. I’ve been to Vietnam several times and also other amazing Vietnamese restaurants in London so I can say the food taste and quality here is just not that great. Papaya salad was horrendous, salt and paper squid was greasy and super chewy, noodle salad was bland, grilled chicken was a yellowish colour. It’s close to the park so I guess they’re quite complacent as they’ll always get the flow of customers. I’d only recommend if you’re really hungry and have nowhere else to go. There’s another smaller Viet place down the road on Trafalgar Rd which is nicer.

Amazing atmosphere with the greatest owners I've ever met. Definitely the best place I've ever been to.

Everything is okay, except manager behaviour. So rude

The pho was literally just boiled water poured over noodles, carrots and beans. It had no flavour whatsoever and I did not eat it. We spoke to the waiter and cashier and they offered no refund. The side broccoli was over boiled and falling apart. The summer rolls again no flavour, the dip no flavour. I do not recommend. 1 star for food is an overstatement. Very disappointing. £11.50 for boiled water and noodles. No thanks

Good food and nice atmosphere!! Love their seafood starters, however i do find their chicken dishes to have a certain taste that i wasn’t fond of. Very neat and clean place so will visit again xx

Had a Vietnamese coffee as I’ve been looking for one near to me. It was really not very nice. Tasted like saccharine and really watery. Not the chocolatey velvety drink I know. Won’t be back.

We had a really good meal at Pho on Greenwich. The bubble tea was very good and enjoyed by my children. The food portion sizes were very good. We all enjoyed our food and we didn't have to wait too long for it to arrive. The prices felt fair for what we got.

Great little eatery with delicious and freshly made food. Excellent selection of drinks too - and the customer service fantastic. Steve and his crew looked after us and I recommend this restaurant highly if you fancy some Vietnamese cuisine!

Upon being seated at our table, we noticed the table was sticky. The table behind us also found this and wiped it down with their own wet wipes, they didn't stick around for a meal, they left. The food was ok, portion sizes seemed small. We've had larger amounts for the price paid in London. The large bubble tea was a sizable drink but some bubbles seemed overly soft. After we had finished eating, the waitress was clearing our table as her coworker was telling her to hurry up. She said to me they needed to clean up quickly as it gets busy. I said sure that's fine. Then I heard the coworker, not in English, shout over to her to 'tidy first then talk' which I thought was quite rude. This restaurant used to be so much better and I would come here everytime I visisted Greenwich. Unfortunately I won't be returning here in a hurry.

Pho well done Beef tasted amazing as well as then pork chop with rice meal we ordered. The salt and pepper squid is soft which isa really good thing. Will definitely go back here.

Fair spot serving Vietnamese food. I had their hot noodle soup. My friend had the barn mi, he gave it two thumbs up.

Classic Bahn Mi is good. Not over greasy. The sour pickles balances the fatty pork slices and pate. Very ideal as a light bite after a walking tour from Greenwich Observatory. The place is a bit crowded during lunch time.

Probably one of the least favourable places I have eaten Pho, I can't imagine the broth had been cooking for 8 hours as stated. You get a big bowl of noodle but a small amount of bean sprouts which just gets lost in the amount of noodles. My daughter's well cooked beef was very fatty so she didn't eat it my rare was fine I did advise here to have the rare but she is a well cooked no grissel or sinew type.

Ordered for the first time and it was the worst food I’ve tasted in ages. Crispy pork was grey, tough and old it was swimming in a watery gravy that hardly any taste, they didn’t follow order notes and the whole meal that cost almost £20 went in the bin, worst takeaway food I’ve ever ordered. Crispy pork was soggy pork and sliced so thin nothing like the picture or what was advertised. There are much better Asian takeaways and restaurants in Greenwich and sadly I won’t be ordering from this place again. Only thing that tasted ok was the spring rolls

Great Pho and bubble tea at reasonable prices.

Lack customer service respect and cursority was lacking the younger male showed contempt lack the ability to take and deliver the order correctly the order came backwards with long pauses between the course on top of having to wait for ehat was a lengthy period of time for the order to arrive. The food was very grease and bubble tea lack flavor it contained large yellow unidentifiable lumps in it along with the black tapioca. Unfortunately I would not recommend people of colour to visit as there's a two tier service

The saving grace of Pho Street is that I prefer it over Ben Tre in terms of local Vietnamese food. The negatives are that the food quality varies quite a bit - eating in the restaurant and eating delivery tells a lot in terms of food preperation. When I dine in, there is a rude staff member, a middle-aged man. Benefit of a doubt that maybe he had a bad day however the attitude reeks and they should take the day off or employ a replacement as it is not a good look for the restaurant. It does not matter how good your food is if the employees fail at customer service. The recent incident which sparks this review is when I complained of beef being overdone in my pho noodles. There is the option to have this rare or well done. As I was served well done when I asked for rare it was natural to ask for assistance. I was given a negative remark as if I was the one who did something wrong! Needless to say I lost my appetite. I won't be returning for dinner if I see this person is working.

I recently dined at Pho Street in Greenwich, and unfortunately, it was a rather disappointing experience. The service left much to be desired, especially a man with glasses who was quite rude. The food didn't meet my expectations in terms of authenticity; it felt like it was designed for students on a budget. Considering the quality and experience, the prices were definitely on the higher side. Overall, I can't say it was worth the money, and I hope for improvements in the future.

Amazing food, a great atmosphere, however, the tables and seats weren't cleaned properly. I would recommend the egg fried rice as well as the prawn crackers. I wen here while visity the Greenwich observatory.

Pho street takeaway experience was fantastic! The Pho Ga and Pho Bo were both flavorful, and the papaya salad was fresh and satisfying. Highly recommended for authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Lovely place, we go often and it never disappoints. The portions are generous and the prices are very good. I’m not sure how authentic the dishes are, but they are very enjoyable. The salt and pepper chips are a must. Best bubble tea in Greenwich without a doubt.

Order pho bo beef, Vietnamese spring rolls, and lemon grass lambchops taste fantastic and freshly made, also ordered a bubble tea taro taro nice taste. Service is acceptable not extremely busy at the time surely l will go back again.

I was going to give 3 to 4 stars, but, I just saw the DISGUSTING state of the windows on the 1st floor (ao kitchen). Besides, I find the place relatively pricey. As long as those windows will be in such a state I for sure will not re-visit. 👎

Lovely Vietnamese/Asian restaurant next to the park. The food was quite delicious which comes in big portions for a reasonable price! The staff and atmosphere were pleasant and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Honestly love this place, definitely somewhere to check out next time you visit Greenwich park!

Very rude man taking orders. Have to wait 40 minutes for a banh mi.

Pet peeve is when places don’t pack take away food that makes it difficult to eat. Ordered the bun with pork, and it was a bit difficult to eat in a container too small to mix everything. Ordered the banh mi as well. Flavour wise all the food was just okay. Didn’t taste fish sauce in the bun sauce just sugar and vinegar. The banh mi was overpriced in my opinion, I expected a bit more meat or at least freshly cooked, but for both dishes I’m pretty sure the meat was reheated. The overall experience felt like what you’d get at a fast food establishment, not to the quality of a franchise like “pho” a cut below both in food and service. If your in a pinch and want something from the supermarket for a picnic in the park. It’s okay but definitely not a go-to restaurant. For Vietnamese food there are definitely better options in the area. There are also better sandwiches to be had in the area for a tenner. I can only envision going again if I want something quick and too lazy to walk elsewhere to grab food for a picnic but pick something else from the menu.

Awesome Pho restaurant. Almost every time I come to London I go to Greenwich and visit Pho street. The vegan Pho and papaya salad are outstanding. Service is efficient. Nice people.

Absolutely incredible. Every time I'm in London I always come to Greenwich, in no small part to this restaurant. I always get the vegetarian pho (which is also vegan) and it is probably the best pho I have ever had. The staff are nice, and the general vibe is amazing 10/10 would recommend.

No nonsense place with quite good food

Shocking customer service from the owner- little courtesy. My food was terribly bland so I requested they make it again, which they obliged. On the new dish arriving I realised that it was just a poorly conceived & flavourless meal so took it back, asking for a refund. The owner said he never administers refunds unless the food is off, which I think lacks good will. He even ate from my plate twice while trying to convince me that it tasted nice, and then conceded that others had complained about the same dish. So disappointing. I will never dine there again. Believe the bad reviews and save your money!

We hadn't seen this place before and were walking past so thought we'd pop in as my partner loves traditional Pho, we both had a bowl and I also had summer rolls, I will admit this was my first time trying Pho and I wasn't as impressed as my partner was, which is not on the restaurant, that's on me for my taste, I prefer ramen. My partner loved it and as a chef himself, he said it was a good pho, so I took his word for it. The tofu summer rolls however, now those I thoroughly enjoyed! I wanted to go back and buy more before we left London. The bubble tea's were nice, my partner had a red bean and coconut one, which was thick and sweet and I had a passionfruit one with lychee bobo, not the best ive ever had but far from the worst. For me Id say definitely try the summer rolls! Service was good too as it started to get busy just before we left.

A very pleasant experience! The staff was very helpful and the pricing is affordable. The food (fried rice) was delicious. The best choice when you are hungry after visiting the maritime museum :)

I've been craving for some warm dishes and randomly chose this Vietnamese restaurant in Greenwich. We tried the classic pho soup and it was great! I would recommend it.

Fun Vietnamese restaurant, great Singapore fried rice, pho was amazing and their beef stew was great. Can't fault the food in any way, will certainly be returning. Went back a 2nd time had an amazing lotus root salad and delicious pho Edit: Back again, and food is still great

Food is decent but the owner is rude. So it was quite uncomfortable.

The Singapore vegetable fried rice was good and on the spicier side. Teriyaki chicken was okay. The boba for the bubble teas dont fit through the straw but flavorful fruit teas. They sit you first then you go up and order.

One of the best Vietnam food in Greenwich. I recommend the Bun Bo hue, the cooked beef is very tasty.

Ordered bbq pork bahn mi, taro boba and salted caramel boba. The salted caramel was great. The taro was mild in flavor. The bahn mi is small compared to American size bahn mi but the bread was so good. Toasted but still so soft and airy. The bbq pork was delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Lacks flavour and is nowhere near genuine vietnamese food. Quality also not very good. Portions are decently sized, but that's about all good I can say. My pork chops were so chewy that my teeth started hurting, chicken wings were chewy as well and they did not seem to be grilled, pho lacked flavour. For these prices you can get better vietnamese food a few minutes down the road.

It tastes like plain rice noodles. The amount is quite large, but it's not particularly impressive.

Food is good, servings are big, you have variety and all spicy food is marked on the menu as spicy, which I really loved.

Bubble tea without bubble , £4.80 for juices and sugar , Worst bubble tea ever , no explanation, when you order no bubble in tea , to sweet , my son was not feeling well with the amount of sugar, terrible ! Never again !

I’m honestly abit disappointed as I really had high expectation on this place. When I got up to the till ready to order. An old man watched me and heard me wanting to take order but he ignored me and continued talking to staff members. I stood there for 5 min and he still kept ignoring me picking up calls etc. other members of the staff saw me standing but didn’t wanna take my orders. I was the only one waiting to order!!! When I finally ordered. He didn’t smile no nothing and didn’t even tell me how much everything came up as he just pulled out the machine. I paid and he threw the receipt on the table etc. tho the food came out super quick which made me alittle nervous. The beef Ho fun was a good quantity but lacking in flavour. The pho Dat Biet was a large portion but honestly the soup had no flavour AT ALL. I decided to add the necessary sauces into the soup and still didn’t taste nice at all. After all this I wanted to try their fruit tea but i saw a member of staff with red hair coughing all over the bubble tea sections and also into the big bowl of tea. I felt so disgusted and didn’t get the drink. Normally wouldn’t write such a horrible review but I’m just disappointed with the customer service hygiene and the flavour in the food. I definitely won’t come back and I don’t expect anyone to try any of their noodles. Perhaps their rice might be better who knows

Food - comes looking like it was slapped onto the plate. The portion sizes are big but flavours disappointing for me. Thankfully, the pricing is reasonable. Service - despite being in a group our food came out separately. The lady who served us was nice but didn't speak enough English to deal with our query. Atmosphere - the restaurant feels safe and is in a convenient location near the park and university

A quaint little place for Vietnamese food. Good service. Limited but delectable array of food and drinks. Recommend dining in for a good time. Usually busy on weekends. Personal recommendation: Lemongrass Lambchops! And, Good Pho U with Jack Daniels!
