Rosamunds in Huntingdonshire

Simple food and drink cooked well and served with a smile. Don't be prissy, accept this establishment for what it is - a great traditional cafe, run by a passionate Italian who has had cafes for more than 40 years (so he tells me!) Great sandwiches and jacket spuds. Smooth coffee. Reasonable prices. What's not to like?

Bardzo miła atmosfera. Jedzenie smaczne, a jednocześnie zaskakujące, świetne połączenie smaków. Obsługa naprawdę miła i pomocna. Polecam :D

This is a small cafeteria with a limited menu. Having said that it is clean and welcoming. Food is delivered to your table and you are never rushed. It’s prices are very reasonable

Been here few times a great place coffee is good the owner is so lovely very friendly it’s now our favourite meeting place

The cafe has obviously changed hands. It’s nowhere near as good. The owner/manager is cooking, serving at tables and taking orders all by himself. The sandwiches we ordered were absolutely too thick, great doorstops of bread, dry, with not very tasty fillings. They’ve also gone up in price! We used to go in on our visits to Huntingdon. Not any more sadly. The man needs help.

It was always a great place for lunch, for salads, sandwiches, salads, homemade cakes and great tea and coffee with the best friendly service. Now the food is awful, the service is ok, but the terrible, inedible food far outweighs this! So sad to see this great local cafe has gone downhill like this.

Unpretentious cafe where one can pop in for a lovely big cup of tea. The bacon sandwiches are great. Huge portion of bacon on fresh bread. Friendly service. Nice food.

The pizza was so good. The staff were amazing, all of them. Giulia, Vianca and Victoria are so cute. I had the opportunity to meet their pizza maker Emanuele and the chef, Marco silvestri. They are so good in what they do. You can feel that they love what they do from what you tast there, they have also good sweets there. The cannolis are amazing.

Go here quite often with my mum and great grandad. Good access as he is severely disabled and needs assistance . Love the ham sandwich. Lovely soft bread great staff

Had done quite a bit of walking and needed to sit down. Very nice server brought my delicious hot chocolate, with cream on top, to my table. Heaven! Good service and helpful server.

Spot of lunch nothing fussy just a baguette and a coffee, fancied a change so popped in here. The lady that served us was very friendly myself my mum and my daughter wanted a quick stop gap and sit down. All in all very pleasant environment and good quality coffee so I was happy. My daughter had a milkshake which I didn't get chance to take a pic of as it got polished off very quickly.

Stopped in as we were passing - the tastiest bacon and cheese bloomer toastie... lovely service, Rosamunds is definitely going to be a re-visit next time I'm in Huntingdon.

Lovely little cafe for hot drinks and cakes and large portions. The quality of the bacon and sausages could be a bit better but there is plenty of it.

A freshly made, very nice lunch. very Friendly service. We will be back again we next visiting the area. Try the cakes

my man and I went into Huntingdon for the first time in ages, years even, and I was very happily surprised at finding Rosamund's, well I never actually found it, it was suggested to us by a local, as we discussed where to go for lunch and I must admit, I went past it and never even noticed initially, but we dutifully went back, and what a delight, firstly, there were a couple of chairs/tables outside, but a warm day so I went inside, and first...there is a ramp for the scooter, secondly, the aisle were wide, tables clean and well spaced, a ramp to the buffet type counter, and a variety of choices, sandwich, spuds, etc. service was brilliant, meal was fantastic, we both went for spuds with Coronation Chicken, home made too...cost was great, all up, I recommend this place

Mi esposa y yo necesitábamos para matar el tiempo, así que "ducking" en para un capuchino. El lugar tiene un zumbido estupendo para - música disco, y un montón de gente de todas las edades, y comentando lo buena que era la comida. Lugar super limpia, el baño estaba limpio, el personal trabajador. ¿Qué podría ser mejor?

Yo he utilizado este lugar un par de veces, y ha sido muy bien en ambas ocasiones. Las baguettes recién preparados a la orden. El personal es amable, eficiente y ofrecen una sonrisa. El café siempre parece impecablemente limpia, lo cual me parece muy reconfortante. No me puedo quejar. Gran Café.

Tazas de café Americano coordinada en esta impecablemente limpia cafe. La señora que servía era hablador y amable, y la comida que vimos estar preparado parecía genial. Los precios eran tan sólo una fracción de lo que pagarías en las grandes cadenas hoteleras. Con una pendiente por el mostrador y un enorme baño independiente, creo que esto sería muy ruedas también. Sin duda lo convierten en una parada regular de en Huntingdon

It appears a little bleak from the street, but the food is good, the service too. Great place for lunch in town. I'll certainly be back

Nice pleasant enough little cafe and very good customer service but the cups of tea and coffees are far to milky and extremely weak and tasteless and sandwiches lacking in a bit of filling .Also had a jacket potatoe there and no big enough_ would just about feed a child apart from that its ok .Must remembe to ask for stronger tea next time

The lady serving was totally uninterested. She finished stacking the fridge before even acknowledging our existence and held a conversation with someone else whilst serving us.The sandwich was ok, but after experiencing the service we decided to eat it on the move.Extremely uninspiring place. Great location, such a shame that it's managed so badly.

Stopped here for lunch last week and they had run out of jacket potatoes. Had a meatball panini instead but was v surprised to see waitress putting cheese and meatballs into panini with bare hands then going straight to till and handling money with not a hand wash in sight. Yuch!

Lovely little café and takeaway on the market square. Lovely rolls/sandwiches with wide choice of fresh fillings. Very nice drinks and clean toilet for customers. I go there weekly when shopping in town.

Very poorly made sandwiches with rather cheap bread and quite expensive for what they were .Jacket potatoes rather dried up and tired and a lack of choice .Tea was distinctly more like milky hot water and the milk shakes runny .

nice little café, just in the centre, we sat outside and enjoyed the view of the wonderful church, not a chain related café, which is good, prices very reasonable.
