Omw, service exceptional. The food we had, the fish from Brixham and the mackerel and poached egg on sourdough toast, brilliant! Very tasty!

Staying locally at the Camping, Caravan and Motorhome Park … R&S coffee is great, lunch was terrific, and breakfast was lovely! The staff are fantastic, really polite, professional and personable. The interior and exterior convey a sense of cleanliness and freshness. Dogs are made to feel just as welcomed as their owners! Highly recommended, not just for the cafe but also the Deli, Pizza parlour, and local brewery outlet as well as the Bathurst estate.

Really overpriced (e.g. £15 for three sausage rolls), staff seem stressed and harassed, especially the chap running the place who left us feeling like an inconvenience. That said, the ceasar salad is good... I am used to Cirencester prices, but R&S is far too expensive, especially with the touchy atmosphere. Sorry guys!

Really lovely spot for lunch, with a kiddies creche area inside the venue, and a large secure playground outside the venue (accessible from the restaurant) Food was really lovely, the cafe has a great vibe and the staff are super friendly. Came here with my partner and stepdaughter who is autistic, my friends and their dog. Nothing was too much effort for the team, they accommodated our request to move tables, and were friendly towards the non-adults too! Will definitely be coming back!

Despite the name, it's not a good place for vegetarians. The pasta and artichoke dish was pretty flavourless. I asked for olive oil. They didn’t have any. They offered rapeseed oil instead. You would think it would be hard to go wrong with Eton Mess. But it was all cream and meringue and barely any fruit. Nice airy atmosphere but hard seats. Not recommended.

I took my Mother in Law there for a drink and a sandwich. As she is elderly and likes plain food I ordered a ham and tomato sandwich which is exact what we got. Although the sandwich was very nice I do think a tea, a coffee and a plain sandwich was expensive at £17! Definitely won’t be rushing to go back!

I had a sandwich and a coffee it came to £16. The sourdough was burnt and the filling was bland as it had no seasoning. The sourdough was served as one big slice, instead of being cut in half which made it difficult to eat. My aunt had the Welsh rarebit which was one slice of sourdough topped with cheese and mustard for £13. They also charge 60p extra for diary free milk. I noticed that the table hadn’t been cleaned and I just felt it wasn’t worth the money.

The only way I can describe this place is as an unsupervised nursery. It is full of self entitled, lazy mums who let their kids scream non stop without interfering. I even saw two mums change their kids dirty nappies on the table ….. how vile!!!! Restaurants are for adults not your kids - leave them at home!! Also a warning - they have a children’s crèche in the restaurant so if you love hearing screaming for hours and kids running around you whilst there parents sit and do nothing then this is the place for you! I would rather stick needles in my eyes before I ever return to that horrid place.

Went for the summer BBQ evening and to listen to our friend play live music. Had a good atmosphere and food was pretty quick. They had run out of king prawns which was sad but the service and smiley faces made up for it! I’ve been here one other time for lunch but will definitely be back here to try the proper dinner menu. The parking is confusing before you even start with various zones and restrictions so be careful. The food is very good but at £4.50 ish for a can of cola which I didn't realise at the time seemed expensive. The food is good just a tad overpriced , I think 2 people for sandwiches and a shared lemon tart with 2 non alcoholic drinks coming in around £42 seems quite high for a quick snack.

I got parking £50 parking fine because I was 2 minutes late! I got to the car park at noon, it took me just under 10 mins to sort my dog out and pay for my parking ticket. By the time, I pay, my ticket is showing a time of 12.10. Two weeks after my visit, I got a letter from Minster Baywatch for a parking fine of £50. The letter came with a photo evidence showing I entered the car park at 12:00:50 and leaving at 12:12:35 Is this a joke?!?! I’m sorry to award one star despite the coffee being acceptable but I will never visit the establishment nor recommend it to anyone as I don’t want anyone to suffer the same injustice that I suffer. Just simply isn’t worth it. Ridiculous parking management!

I was so impressed with our visit to roots and seeds. Personally, I find it so hard to find somewhere to eat out with 3 small children ( 5 & 3 year old twins ) but this was the perfect place. The food was fantastic and I could actually sit and have a chat while they played in very convenient play area. The menu was brilliant and the service was spot on. I wish I'd have got some pictures of the food but did get some great ones of the kids enjoying the outdoor play area. We can't wait to visit again and enjoy some of the lovely walks!!

I've visited Roots & Seeds on three occasions now, and my most recent visit for Mother's Day was the best yet. The Sunday roasts are absolutely fantastic. It's great for those of us with young children - the atmosphere and set-up is very family friendly but refreshingly also delivers high quality food. Often, it is difficult to find places which deliver on both of these fronts. Yes there are cheaper establishments, but I feel the pricing is reasonable given the level of quality of the food.

We visited this restaurant last October and were reasonably impressed with the food although it was quite expensive for what it was but was infact receiving a 10% discount for visiting from the Caravan and Motorhome site. Our disappointment came when we checked the bill to find that they had infact put small increases on a few items to infact cover that discount. We queried thisvand they did rectify it. We returned last night as we were once again visiting from the caravan site where we were staying with friends. We weren't overly impressed with the small plates idea compared to their normal menu but ordered drinks and enjoyed the night together. However, to our absolute disgust small increases had been added to our drinks to the tune of £7. We queried this and was told he had made my cocktails as doubles(something he didn't ask me about beforehand) and I'm not sure how this affected the bottle of wine that he put an extra £2 on (a bottle that he recommended over the bottle my husband had chosen and offered it at the same price). He once again rectified the incorrect bill but left on the £22 gratuity fee even though the service hadn't been that great. It's such a shame because it's such a great facility so close to the caravan site but just be careful to check your receipts folks you're not getting the discount you think you are!

Different, lively with friendly staff, not jam packed with tables, from some tables you can watch the chefs working in the kitchen. The main attraction is the food sourced from local suppliers, we had the Sunday roast board for two, beef chicken and pork with oven cooked vegetables, not microwaved. As suppliers are local you experience local brands rather than national names. A must for anyone with a dog who wants well cooked food at reasonable prices in a pleasant environment.

We’ve had brunch and coffees there before and have enjoyed the experience. We visited last night and tried their dinner menu - we were not disappointed. We had the scotch egg and rosemary focaccia to start. The thyme flowers, and nasturtium leaves with the scotch egg were a new (tasty) experience. There was plenty of focaccia and would’ve been possible to share as a starter if I didn’t love bread! For mains we had the steak fritz and bangers and mash (the red onion gravy was so full of flavour). The steak was medium rare, and very tender. We shared an Eton mess for pudding which was also delicious. I had an autumn gin spritz, which was delicately flavoured. I don’t know the name of our servers last night but they were both attentive without being intrusive. Very happy to have this on our doorstep, and love that they grow their own food and try and source ingredients as locally as possible. Looking forward to coming back and trying their Sunday lunch!

Loved the food, so fresh and a lovely setup. Would be four stars, but the way our family were spoken to by one of the old groundsmen when we went for a walk after, completely destroyed all the good feelings - such a shame. We were made to turn around on the spot, and leave the park (we were addressed like we were trespassing). We then got back to the gate we originally walked through, and he was now telling us it was locked. He just barked at us to walk round the building, when we asked where we should go, as we had no idea. I was so upset, that I politely asked to speak to the manager who was very professional, unfortunately the same guy was stood behind him and started at me aggressively again. The lack of professionalism was shocking, the guy should look for a job without being near the public. So yes, loved the place ...but put off for life. 😕

Beyond disappointing! After a lovely walk in the park, we thought we'd stop here for a nice coffee and a scone. "We don't sell scones" was the terse response, delivered at an accute "down the nose" angle. The snooty attitude was reflected in the snooty menu (Superfood salad (really?) and £10 for a posh cheese sandwich) and by the yummy mummies showing off their babies to the other yummy mummies. We visited the toilet as we were leaving. Obvious efforts to impress customers were totally destroyed by 'deposits' left behind in the toilet bowls in both the ladies and the gents! DISGUSTING!!! The whole experience ruined my day. We definitely won't be returning! The coffee was ok.

Staff were super friendly and service was faultless on both occassions. My partner and I both opted for the steak last night, which was by a long way the best steak I have eaten in Cirencester. It is so nice to have such amazing food in such a relaxed and beautiful setting. Will be visiting to trial the breakfast menu soon! So glad we have found this gem of a restaurant so near to home.

We went here from the caravan park and I must say we will never go there again. We ordered two teas and two burgers. One of the burgers was raw on the inside and the other looked very pink. We were offered a fresh burger but declined as that was the last thing we would want. No refund was offered.

Incredibly slow service, over an hour to get food and nearly 30min to get 4 bottles of beer to the table.

Visited the cafe today for breakfast. Arrived before 11am and paid 2 hours in the car park as we were hoping to have a nice, relaxing breakfast. Unfortunately we were told that they werent taking any more people for breakfast. The young lady we spoke to offered bacon or sausage sandwiches instead. We took the offer as we had already paid the car park. The bacon sandwich arrived within 5 minutes, very disappointed with the brioche, 2 slice bacon we received and at a cost of £6.50 when you can have a small breakfast for £9!!! We asked for our drinks 3 times and they arrive nearly 20 min after our sandwiches!! The place was busy however it wasnt full as lots of empty tables inside and out. Plenty of staff around so not sure why service was so slow! It is a nice looking place however based on what we have experience I would t visit again

Popped in for a coffee, having heard that the cafe/ restaurant was up and running. A great new coffee venue, especially for those with dogs and those wanting to visit this spectacular park. Cakes are rather pricey, especially for their size, but the venue and the outside seating is excellent.

Visited today following a lovely walk through Cirencester park accompanied by my little dog Biscuit. I ordered the superfood salad, but it was missing the beetroot and wild garlic pesto, so it was lacking oomph. To his credit, Sam went over and above to explain the reasons for the missing additions and he subsequently refunded my whole bill - including my glass of wine! I'll surely return, as the service was second to none.

Car park a nightmare for issuing tickets randomly! 2 minutes in the car park and a penalty within that time of £50. Joke!!! Who wants to pay for parking when they go to a cafe and get fined with no notice.

During a recent trip to Cirencester I ate in Roots and Seeds twice, for dinner and a Sunday lunch. The dinner, cod with broccoli and peas, with a side of spinach and salsa verde, was excellent! Beautifully cooked fish and a wonderfully flavoured side dish. The Sunday lunch was very good if your like your beef rare - very tender and with good vegetable sides. Although not cheap, the food is good value for the quality you get. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant bright and airy. The only negative is the price of alcoholic drinks, particularly the beers. All in all, a great place though.

We turned up just after they had opened on the 7th April and were greeted with friendly staff members and sat outside with our dog Poppy. Fast service for drinks followed by quick service for the Eggs Royal and scone. Both were great and reasonably priced. Will be returning next weekend to try out the full English.

Great food. Great for Coffee. Great for kids. Great for dogs. Great for families. Great for fresh air. Great for the soul. . It’s great ok. Ignore the one star reviews, they only just opened and places need to bed in. . Park the car, get the dog out and get OUTSIDE.

Outstanding in every way. I love this place so much I would happily eat there every day. The staff and service is amazing, genuinely warm and friendly and helpful. I went for coffee and cake first off which was so good, i booked in for dinner and then breakfast! Loved every deliscious mouthful and the cocktails at dinnner were awesome. The space is stylish, spacious relaxed and very well thought out including indoor and outdoor play areas for children. Love Roots and Seeds ethos, vision and the top notch eatery they have created. Total respect to Sam, Toby and team. I have already got another table booked for a family Sunday lunch in May and can't wait.
