Roosters Piri Piri - Eastleigh in Eastleigh

We visited yesterday for dinner. The service was outstanding, especially thanks to our waitress. She was brilliant in every way. She was courteous, had lovely manners, and made sure we were well looked after throughout the meal. It was a wonderful dining experience!

Eastleigh doesn't have many good restruant. But Roosters is an exception. Awesome food! The food was brilliant and for a fairly cheapish price. However what let's itself down and which is why I'm giving 4 stars is the service. Some Staff there give the attitude "what do you want" some of the staff there do need to learn manners and be kind to the customers. Aside from that no problem!

The music choice in this establishment is impeccable, alongside this the food is amazing and the service was excellent.

This place gave me food poisoning reheating chicken and not heating it up properly is disgusting.

Recent changes are disappointing. The first time I ordered I had wings with Lebanese marinade. Loved them so much I always ordered this, apart from once when I had piri piri. Now it's lemon & herb, mild, hot or very hot. Maybe I need to look for a place not trying to emulate Nandos.

Ordered on just eat charged over 20 pounds the portions are small misleading no cutlery or serviettes just not worth the money called tried reasoning with the managress was very unhelpful and rude

We ordered delivery to our offices and I wanted to try the rice box, a more fitting description is a rice scoop, the flavour is lovely and spicy, as described but portion size leaves room for improvement, I had to bribe a colleague for some of his food to actually tie me over for lunch!

We had a Just Eat delivery, Everytime we use Roosters, The food is excellent, hot and tasty, The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. I ordered at 3.00pm but asked for delivery at 5.00pm. Two hours later and the food turned up piping hot and tasted fresh. Excellent service, Well done guys. Good old fashioned customer service at its best.

Chicken is always consistently on point, fresh and delicious. Far better than Nandos and cheaper too! Have been coming here for a few years now and never had a bad meal

Always good quality food on collection. I wouldn't dare trust Uber or Deliveroo though.

Amazing food, we was on our way to nandos as we had been travelling but spotted this place first. So glad we ate here instead, the Lebanese chicken is amazing!! Amazing food and great value for money. Wish we had one nearer to our home.

I've been addicted to Roosters Peri Peri since the 2020 Lockdown (thanks to rude staff at Nandos Eastleigh). The chicken is always tasty & goes well with Nandos sauce, Roosters fries are crispy. I also like the Big Boss beef burger. The Mango and also the Peach Smoothies are amazing , if Roosters ever stopped serving these amazing smoothies then I would probably stop going there as much.

Sunday evening 21:55 Online shows they are open until 23:00. I turn up to find out they close at 22:00

Lovely restaurant with amazing food! Food was quick and delicious and service wasn’t a disappointment for me, was recently served by a lovely girl didn’t catch her name properly I think it was Sasha but she made us feel very comfortable and had a smile when serving us. Service like this is hard to find these days. Will be visiting again!! If your in Eastleigh definitely a place worth visiting..

My expectations were far exceeded. Food was delicious. Chicken. Was healthier as grilled, not fried. Good quality and great value. You also get a proper plate!

Roosters is a lovely restaurant. Plenty of seating inside and a very tasty menu. Food is reasonably priced and staff are always pleasant and helpful

Lodged in Eastleigh for 3 months due to work. Ate here nearly daily. Never ever let me down. Great food, great staff!

Worst piri Piri chicken shop I’ve been to. Visited on 1st April with a couple of friends, on first impressions the shop looks clean however inside is very very cold. We ordered our food which was a grilled chicken burger, a ranch burger & a half chicken meal, the workers inside just seemed so bored & like they didn’t want to be there, the girl on the till accidentally charged me a surplus of £2.70 for peri salt on my chips instead of the stated 20p/30p and I only realised once looking at the receipt after leaving the shop. The food came out super fast to our delight but to its downfall is that the food was cold, bland & simply disgusting, my grilled chicken burger was dry & rubbery, it had been pre cooked and just flashed on the grill, this is how you get a dry piece of chicken, not only that but when you pay £10 for a chicken burger you should expect to receive a whole breast, I got half a breast, I asked for hot flavour and you know what that is to them? It’s cheap tangy & sour hot sauce poured over the chicken fillet, other places like rios piri piri & pepe’s piri piri take great pride in their food which clearly isn’t the case with this shop. All 3 of us agreed it was the worst food we’ve had in a long time, we definitely don’t recommend this place nor will be back.

Ordered two wrap meals, the falafel wrap was burnt and inedible. I called to complain and was told to leave a review on Deliveroo because its nothing to do with them because I ordered through Deliveroo. Didn't even want to know what was wrong and put the phone down on me. Absolutely disgusting service and a total waste of money.

i wish i could give them better start, i have order whole chicken with 2 sides one was chips and another mush potatoes. however chips they gave us was uneatable even when we ordered for eating in . can’t believe how they can serve that kinda of chips

Delicious food, twice ive ordered from them now using Deliveroo. Food is always fresh and The Peri chips are tops. Its a 10 from me

Absolutely shocking - send out half an order and then put the blame on deliveroo even though the order is packed and sealed by roosters staff! Then want to charge you to send out your missing items AND want you to wait an hour … because they are busy ….. absolute joke and clearly not capable of owning or running a take away

Good quality and service is a bit run down. I ordered a take away and it turned out the chicken was too pink inside. I took a picture and showed the manager. The manager looked at the picture acknowledged it. That’s it no apologies and compensation for the horrible food.

The chicken wings are humongous, least double the size of Nando’s wings and were cooked to juicy perfection…peri peri fries where some of the best fries I’ve had too. Arrived before closing time and was given fast and friendly service which was nice.

Absolute shambles of a place ordered a beef strip wrap and I got a burger in a wrap……I tried to get a delivery and they stop delivering at 10.30 online it saids 11 joke of a place needs new management false advertisement!

Cool pink chicken, ask you to bring it back over phone bring it back and say it’s not pink when it’s clearly bright pink. Horrible service will be taking this further!

I ordered a medium lamb wrap and it was beautiful; full of flavour and spices were so yummy !!! Definitely recommend

Good quality food but bit expensive

Food was lovely, good sized and cooked fresh. Service was very quick and there was plenty of seating indoors. Menu was varied with several options of heat and flavour. Highly recommend a visit.

Roosters Piri Piri - Eastleigh. We were a a group of eight so it was a sizeable order, service was fairly good, but some of the food was served cold particularly the rice and the burger. Spacious place. Thank you for arranging the takeaway.

Probably used to order from here once a week foods amazing introduced loads of friends who come and stay they always love it. Think the prices went up recently which is a shame I now think twice before ordering.

Placed an order through Uber Eats. Delivery was made missing kids drinks and coleslaw. Rang the store who told me to contact Uber Eats. Surely Roosters packed the order and made the mistake not Uber. Shocking customer service

Ordered 21/12/2021 - Worst experience ever , ordered direct by calling store at 8.13pm food arrived at 9.20pm late and driver arrived with no change then left with our food as I wasn't willing to pay £15 extra. Called store they sent him back so he could take my note go to shop and change, Came back this now being 2 hours since ordering, running my food back and fourth, Finally got hands on food and what a surprise freezing cold , I think manager was Claire. She didn't care about anything, late delivery, cold food not to mention not giving driver the correct change and no respect to us or the poor driver who was back and forth on phone and to our house, All this just to get some food , Kind of ruined our whole evening , will never eat from there again shocking customer service. I'm disgusted they don't deserve any stars but we had to give one. Absolutely fuming. ***ARRIVED LATE , COLD FOOD, NO CHANGE, NO APPOLIGY, VERY VERY POOR*** 2 HOUR ORDEAL WITH THESE NUMPTIES AVOID!!!!! AVOID!!!!!!! AVOID!!!!!!! DONT DESERVE YOUR MONEY

Appalling service! The food order was placed online at 11:55am and as of 14:37, we are still waiting for it to arrive! I spoke with someone from Roosters and was told that it was not their fault. It least we know never ever to use them again!

Great tender chicken here. Never dissapointed and always good value. Try the chicken wings!

By the time we got our food it was almost cold, and the fries were so dry they could not have been freshly made. Very disappointed and will not order from here again.

Had a takeaway from Roosters in Eastleigh on Saturday 18th September 2021 . The delivery was a long time coming nearly 2 hours . And when it came one of the chicken wrap meals the chicken was raw inside . I ordered it through Deliveroo . Think it was Deliveroo just gave me the cost of the one wrap back not the whole meal my daughter in law had . Not very good in my eyes .

Freshly cooked chicken with a range of options. Quick service or phone in and collect takeaway with helpful friendly staff. Good seating for those wanting to eat in. A healthier fast food meal!

Quality sadly not great. We had the platter. Chicken wasn’t properly marinated, salad not fresh. Peri chips were excellent though.

Really lovely food. Nicely cooked chicken. And like the peri peri chip seasoning. Overall good experience. The staff maybe could do with a bit of extra training. ( I'm not going to say more than that ) but I'll say this . Attention to detail and know your stock and your deals. Be more clear!

Usually order a burger and chips which are lovely. The food arrives quite quickly and is normally hot. Would highly recommend Roosters. Today I fancied a change so ordered a prawn salad and chips, the chips were lovely, as usual, the salad was lovely however I was so disappointed to only have 5 large prawns, they'd been grilled and were delicious which just set me up for wanting more lol. I do feel that for the price there should have been more prawns.

I tried a take-away for the first time a couple of weeks ago and have already been back twice. Each time the staff have been friendly and the food has been fantastic. Genuinely the best chicken burger I've ever had.

Went in here tonight for a quick bite to eat. The food was actually really nice. Althought we ordered half a chicken with 2 different flavours and we could not tell them apart- one was lebonese and the other herb and lemon. Some sort of labelling might be useful. The chips were lovely and the rest of the food was nice. What let the experience down was the service. There were 6 people behind the counter and it was quite noisy and because of the masks the person taking order could not hear. We know things are different because of covid but once we had our food, not once did we get asked if everything was ok. There were 6 people working and not one came to see if we were ok. We didnt get asked if we wanted any sauces so had to walk up to counter when they could have asked us. The food was delicious but customer service was not good.

Absolutely superb, ordered from just eat,big order came in a half hour, food was SUPERB, best chips I've ever had honestly and the chicken was so nicely done. easily better than Nandos, and overall a really lean meal !

When opened was amazing, decent portions and always spot on food, (had one issue with pink chicken but was rectified fairly after sent photos) Recently is like they don't want our money anymore we regularly chose to have their food delivered but everytime small portions and the beef wrap I always get is looking more and more like sloppy salad with a couple strips of beef each time I get it. The beef is always tougher now too like is over cooked everytime. Either way shame let it slip not sure be buying from there anymore overpriced with the smaller portions and if do will stick to just chicken on bone. On another note is tidy and seems hygienic when have visited so not gonna rate it unfairly. Its alright just not what it was like when they wanted people's custom

Clean and tidy. It's always been a good experience, staff are always polite and helpful. Eat in service is quick and the food always tasty. Plenty of space inside and we've always enjoyed it as a family.

In general the quality of the food and the staff members support are extraordinary. The TOGO and Dinning service is excellent. I specifically liked Mexican wrap, milk shakes and whole chicken.. very juicy and tasty. Every time enjoying the authentic and crispy fries.

Very clean in shop and visibly kitchen area. (I like it and find it assuring when you can see food being prepared and cooked.). Smart efficient staff. Chips were delish !!. Nice piri piri flavour and so cleanly cooked - I thought they had been air fried !!! Yum! Shall look forward those again with a chicken wrap ... looked lovely! Menu looked good also for vegan and gluten free choices. Pleasant surprise for a first visit !

Ordered delivery, came quickly, and the food was still hot. It was lovely, as a vegan it's hard to find takeaway food, especially now places have reduced menus, and they do food that I can eat and that are delicious.
