Roosters Piri Piri in Kingston upon Thames

I always like to order rooster periperi chicken. They taste very well cooked and marinated makes the chicken juicy.

Decent chicken at a decent price. Well-intentioned service.

The food was great came on time I was very pleased

The person taking orders over the phone is incompetent. They have a listening problem. They give me what is specifically decline. In the end I had to pay because I didn't want to waste food. Won't be coming here again

Food arrived ontime. But not hot. Had to put in microwave before eating :(

We waited for 40mins to for our food to be delivered all the while we were contacting the restaurant who confirmed that the driver collected the food at 7:24pm. On the tracker the driver was not moving and the ETA changes every 3mins and it says signal was lost. When it was delivered the food was cold and the driver told us that the restaurant was closed.We did the order at 7:08pm, received the order at 8:11pm which initially should have been delivered at 7:35pm.

I've noticed that they intentionally use smaller chicken wings for discounted meals, but that's fair enough in my opinion so it has no effect on my rating. Food is great, not sure how people are saying it's bland - it's quite nice although it's not the best. Also I enjoy the ketchup and mayo a lot, it has it's own twist to it. Service is nice and efficient, there's always a new waiter and the staff there are efficient and nice as well. Atmosphere is really nice, the seating arrangement is excellent which I like but I usually come on times where there's barely any people. I used to be a Roosters number one fan when it opened in Walthamstow, but unfortunately it closed down and got replaced in the high street of Walthamstow instead. However, this chain does need a lot of improvement, but that's about it.

DID NOT PAY ME FOR MY FINAL SHIFT! Also your first 3 shifts in your trial week are UNPAID, and will be the longest shifts you ever do there. afterwards your shifts will be morning (4-5 hrs) or late shift (5-6hrs). Cost of living is really hard atm so its DISGUSTING how the boss thinks it's "his investment" to not pay you the first 3 shifts! He also was acting like £11.50 (new MINIMUM wage for adults 21+) was a huge amount of money lol!! ( young waitresses on £6 an hr) and will probably be told to leave earlier, which means they're getting £15 -25 pound each shift! whats the point in that? Please avoid working here! Food is expensive so your much better off going elsewhere! Thank you for reading!

The food was nice and delicious as always but unfortunately salad was quite old a not fresh at all. It went straight to the bin.

The best chips and good portions sizes

Just had their two beef burgers the big boss and rancher. The beef patty was a generous 6oz and enjoyed it very much! In a long time had such good beef burgers! Will try again. Very clean and clear taste not oily and bread of bun was not breaking or too chewy. Flavours were well balanced. It was a treat!

There is a good quality price relation

Whole chicken and buffalo wings were ok burgers were very bad and expensive didn’t like the burgers at all we had rancher burger and chicken burger both were not very appetizing

Hello, I'm still waiting for thr delivery of the food. I have been waiting at the main entrance for 20 mins. But app said delivered.

The service was quite slow, and despite their window advertising a 10% discount, they didn't apply it to my 11-year-old son, citing that it was only for university students. This felt misleading based on the advertisement. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and mentioned I would include this in my review, the manager seemed indifferent to customer opinions.

Service & ambience is good. However, my pot of rice had a hair in it. The taste of chicken was decent, nothing great/better than the other chicken chains.

Food has not been delivered. The restaurant claimed the order disappeared from their systems. They did not send a driver as they assumed the order had been cancelled. Please send my food and refund me the money for the inconvenience.

THE BEST CHICKEN IN KINGSTON! we ordered via deliveroo and it was succulent and flavoursome! i would 100% recommend the buffalo wings and the waffle fries! such good value for money 😋😋

Neither i nor my stomach got a rest after I ate their food. Spent half my day in the loo.

Food 🥘 was below average hardly had flavour in the chicken burgers 🍔 and I could feel the chicken 🐓 patty needed some more time on the grill , I have tried some there other branches they were good 👍 but this really disappointed us, have spent well over £30 but not worth it …I hope they will do better next time.

Ordered a hot chicken wrap. 11 quid. No flavour. No spice. No sauce.

Manager: it's illegal to exploit kids by letting them work a trial WEEK and only pay 3 days. You pay staff full stop! Also a trial is usually half a shift, PAID. Definitely won't support this.

Disgusting restaurant that does not pay waitresses fairly (rarely at all) and offers week long unpaid trial shifts. Do not go here.

Roosters Piri piri is a good restaurant for a fairly affordable quality food. My friend and I shared the Mixed Platter but had wished that you could choose different sauce on the strips and wings than on the whole chicken as it all becomes very similar. Overall though, a good experience with friendly customer service as we were given free drinks

The speed with which the order was processed is unbelievably fast. And delivery person was utterly polite and friendly.

This place used to be tasty, but the wrap I used to eat was that I tried again today, and it was pretty awful. The chicken tasted off, some of the lettuce looked like it was well expired and the sauce was terrible. Sorry to say I'm adding this to avoid the list, unfortunately, as it used to be decent.

Chicken was over cooked. Halloumi side was a tiny portion of two pieces. Quite over priced for the quality and quantity.

We went to Roosters Kingston this evening and the manager said that they were not allowed to dine in for various reasons (even though they were still open for another hour). The manager was pointing at his colleague (blonde, Eastern European waitress who was mopping floors) that “she needs to go home” as if they close the restaurant early for one staff member. I thought it was inappropriate to place blame on her, and I got the impression that he had his eyes on her (as if he’s trying to “look after her”). Strange. We used to come a lot to this branch in the past, but it certainly has gone downhill since…

Was refused service at 9:50pm (just now) despite their opening hours being until 11pm. The guy who claimed to be a manager named Fahad kept changing his reasoning as to why we couldn’t be served. First he said we wouldn’t be able to eat inside the restaurant, he then said we couldn’t order because it would take “15 minutes to prepare and we wouldn’t be able to stand inside to wait” and even claimed to only be open until 10:30pm. Just refused a party of 4 people order because they cared more about closing earlier than the hours publicly advertised. I personally do not understand how you expect to run a restaurant like this and unfortunately I will never come back to this particular branch after my experience.

Service was appalling, by the time it arrived, food was cold and my daughters meal had a long black hair on it ! Very uncomfortable atmosphere with the young waitresses being prayed on by the manager. I hope for those girls they find new jobs very soon !

Nice layout and very friendly staff. Grilled chicken burger tasted amazing and the fries were very nicely made. A little bit pricey but all good.

When it comes to eating grilled chicken, it's one of my faves. Excellent customer service, outstandingly prepared food—everything is wonderful.

A nice roosters restaurant, a beautiful place, very relaxing. I’ve tried their big boss burger, it was really nice, the burger was nice and juicy, however the burger wasn’t presented nicely, had they put some time into it by cutting the salads nicely and neatly it would’ve been perfect. The salads looked like it was cut by hand, and not by a knife. We also ordered buffalo wings which was really nice. Perfectly grilled, juicy with a nice sauce on top. Overall it was a good experience, I will definitely visit it again.

Very Bad service from delivery and late

the food was small but there were flies around me and my friends food and they didnt do much about it never going back here again

Awful experience when me and my friend had a meal here….staff weren’t very helpful and didn’t take our complaint about flies landing on our food seriously. We changed tables but still noticed flies on our food. Obviously something was rotting in their kitchen for this to be happening. The restaurant needs to be inspected as we definitely didn’t have a great dining experience.

A bit expensive for what it was but certainly healthy on the whole and delicious, as usual.

It was a good experience. Kids enjoyed the food. The chicken was tender and juicy. Bit tangy but tasty. The atmosphere was nice, we didn't have to wait as it was not busy. The woman who served was very friendly and professional. Prices are responsible. They have toilet facilities as well.

One of the best in Kingston and their lamb wrap is a must. Chicken wings (buffalo wings) are the second best.

Very good. Chicken well and freshly cooked, tender, moist and tasty. Good crispy fries and nice coleslaw. Very reasonably priced. Good service, friendly staff and nicely air conditioned in the current heatwave. I will return!

Avoid at all costs. Bought a partly uncooked (i.e. dangerous) chicken wrap. Discovered it was partly uncooked on the train home and threw in the bin where it belonged.

I wish I could give zero star for this place 1. Chicken wings was pink and not cooked properly. 2. Chips was awful probably they didn't change the fryer oil for ages. 3. In addition to the above there was a long hair on the plate too.

Chicken was really dry not nice at all. Chips were awful and dry. Only thing which was nice was the sweet corn and the rice.

Ordered lamb wrap with bbq. It was spicy so hot I couldn’t eat it!!! First time ordering, never again.

Ordered delivery via Uber Eats and arrived missing a burger from the order. Rang Roosters who denied any responsibility and implied it was down to the Uber eats delivery. No apology or attempt to deliver the missing item. All we wanted was the food we had ordered. We understand restaurants make a mistake and other restaurants are happy to rectify them. Not Roosters. Dreadful customer service. Even the food that came was not that warm even though we are 3 mins drive from restaurant. There are many options for chricken in Kingston so advise you use them and avoid Roosters.

The food was left outside, I went and checked and I saw it outside the door. The person didn’t ring the bell.

Chicken in this chain used to be good, but it is a bit flavourless these days. The pitfalls of trying to save money. You just turn into another very average chicken joint with nothing to distinguish you from thousands of others. OTOH, staff were professional and welcoming, to me anyway. But other tables nearby had not been cleaned up, and it's not like the place was busy. I think there are just better options nowadays.

We waited for someone to come to our table... Than I think almost 20mims Later someone told us that we have to order in the front.I had a chicken salad and my friends had beef burger and a Wrap. The food was a bit disappointing for us:/ the only thing that was amazing was the wedges with piri piri seasoning. We're not planning to come back
