Excellent food. We have been going to the Rooster for over 10 years and it is consistently good. Quick service and decent value.

We have been going here regularly and have had the odd not so good meal, we have put this down to being busy. Tonight, however, has done it for us. Recooked chips, burnt ribs, and quite frankly the guy is rude.

King prawn curry, triple roast and King Prawn Peking style. All cooked great and tasted amazing! Not been for a while but really glad we did.

I have previously given a 5star review. And I stand by that for the special noodles but last night I ordered the special rice, with a order for my , I prefer a curry hubby , who order half a duck and ribs Both of his dishes were inedible , the duck must have been on a crash diet as there was very little of it. The meat was shredded to the smallest pieces and fried crisp as in rock hard . The ribs were the same rock hard. The knife was able to stay standing in them I called Rooster to voice my complaint but was told they had sold several ducks that night and had had no complaints but he would give me a discount on the ribs next time I said I would bring the food back and was told there was no point. In the mean time my husband had feed the duck to the cat. At least we had the eagerly anticipated special rice I love the egg topping both the noodles and rice but. It was awful the rice a lump of sticky mush more beansprouts than anything else I saw no point in making a 2nd call We will not return

I have been using the Rooster for over 40 years. My dad first used it when it first opened and I have seen it change over the years but they always supply a lovely tasty meal. One of Worcester’s institutes that I will carry on using.

We have tried probably 95% of all chinese takeaways in Worcester. (Obviously to try to please my better half). We have gone back to Roosters for as long as I can remember now, and never bother looking anywhere else. I love the bigger noodles in the chow mein dishes. The food is always hot, fresh and good quality ingredients. Even when they're busy I don't think I've ever waited more than 10-15 mins for the order to be completed. Staff are very friendly too and always acknowledge you. All round a winner.

Had a take away from here twice now. Food tasty. Menu choice good. Handy to pop not the pub next door whilst you're waiting.

Have been here many times when visiting Family and have never had a bad meal or a dish we have never liked and enjoyed. Always our first choice for a Chinese takeaway.

Been using the roosters for many years and even though it has changed hands the food never seems to suffer - ribs nice and juicy, curry just the right spice, sweet and sour pork was lovely

I'd been to see my mother in law so thought I would treat my self on way home. I have been very disappoint by a number of Worcester Chinese/Cantonese take always. So I tried somewhere new for me. Rooster, I ordered a special Chow mein The smell on the way home had my mouth watering. It lived up to my expectations. The container was jammed full, generous amount of meat and perfectly cooked noodles

Been several years since I last visited Rooster where I used to regularly order takeaway, so was pleased to find that the quality was every bit as good as it used to be. It has changed hands apparently, now being run by the former owners of Tony Tsang's in Barbourne. The Singapore chow mein was very good, although not as spicy as I like it. Unfortunately it was late at night and they'd run out of pork balls, but the chicken ones were very good.

Nice food staff very loud maybe some of them could try smiling a little bit more, if you're buying a takeaway maybe a good evening how you would go down nice and a bye thank you for your service in stead of bellowing out your name and pushing your order towards you. No it's still the same unfortunately update

The food was good once it arrived apart from the sweet and sour chicken balls that were very hard and crunchy. The main issue I have is that we had to wait and hour and a half to receive our food delivery and when we called twice there were no apologies and just a load of excuses. We probably won’t use these guys again I’m afraid 👎

Purchased food for £30 and asked for prawn. Crackers but not allowed them for free as had to spent £40 ha ha really !!!! You need to watch a video called give them the pickle it will allow you to understand the basics of customer service and the small things go a long way Have spent a lot of money over the years and always want to support local businesses Yet simple things go a long way
