Had possibly the best flat white ever. So good I had another to take out! Carrot cake was lovely. Perfect spot after a good walk to just sit and think.

Lovely little cafe with limited seating inside and out situated overlooking Porth Beach with plenty of paid for parking nearby. Staff were very friendly, cakes / treats were yummy and bacon sandwiches / rolls just right. Dog friendly. Prices were reasonable too

We stumbled across this beach coffee shack after going to Porth Beach for the first time, We were to expecting much to be honest, how wrong were we!!! We ordered Cappacino's, Bacon Sandwiches, Cakes, oh and the Pork, Cider and Apple sausage roll. Everything was absolutely delicious. The coffee was really well made, we are very fussy with coffee as my wife is a trained barista. We came back to this place 6 times in total and we enjoyed it each time. The service was excellent too. There is also a nice little boutique and plant shop, the owners were really friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone as it was a major highlight of our holiday.

Staying at the nearby holiday park we visited here for breakfast and were really impressed. Both my husband and I agreed these were the best breakfast sandwiches! My son had a cinnamon cruffin & he said it was amazing!! It looked delicious. This is a great little cafe and gets busy. They also have free belly boards to borrow - I didn’t realise until the last day! They have a little shop for essentials, which is great for the campers on the site. Also great for gifts. We picked up a few boxes of Cornish shortbread for family. Will return when we come again!

It’s beside the entrance to a surprisingly pricy and precious clothing and gift/accessories/cards etc shop. Not what you’d expect beside a laid back family beach. But this review is in support of the low key cafe right outside comprising a couple of bench tables and a window counter offering into a compact but effective service space serving not just hot and cold drinks together with what we believe are wholly or predominantly home made cakes, cookies sausage rolls and the like. We learnt later that there might be a couple of indoor seats for wet or cooler times but we didn’t spot that. The outside area I’d dog friendly and the female server at the window very helpful friendly and efficient. Seems to be popular with smaller local children.

The food looked amazing but we only stopped for takeaway coffee on this occasion. Friendly service and great prices. Nice and cosy after a walk on the beach

Visited one morning after a walk on the beach. Not the cheapest place on the planet but the views, service and produce cannot be faulted! A lovely friendly lady on the counter and a pleasant quiet 15 mins for me while the kids ate :)

Hate to do this but really disappointed. Hot drinks were too hot. The coffee was awful. Pretty overpriced.

Always my 1st visit when I camp in Cornwall. Great coffee and the cakes are delicious. Going back in September so it won't be so hectic. The staff are friendly and kind and to take in the sea air with a coffee in the mornings is great. I highly recommend this cafe, I've always been served fresh piping hot coffee and have never had to complain. See you all soon.

A group of 7 of us visited Roo's after a windswept and bracing walk on Porth Beach at the end of October. What we wanted was a warm drink and a comfort snack each - what we found was a little jewel of a place, offering a really lovely range of different coffees and drinks. What a joy! Nadine went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed - can't recommend this little oasis highly enough!

We called in on our way back from watergate bay and had a pot of tea and a coffee a lovely piece of stem ginger cake and a piece of carrot cake. the place was beautiful inside and the lady that served us ws so friendly as we asked if it was dog friendly and when we got a yes our dog made its way onto the bench and made himself at home waiting patiently for a piece of cake. We spent a lovely hour here just chatting to the lady behind the counter and nothung was too much trouble and look forward to going back next year when we visit the area again.

Lovely coffee and delicious cakes with a good variety. Friendly service and great location. Just across the road from Porth beach - you can see the beach and sea from the pretty outdoor seating area. Definitely worth a stop.I haven't scored it "excellent" purely because is it is probably a little on the pricey side.

Following a visit here yesterday the service we received from the lovely northern lady was above and beyond. We pestered her with millions of questions about the local area and nothing was ever too much for her. She produced a gorgeous latte and ultimate hot chocolate. The bakewell slices are to die for! ❤️ We will definitely return and would recommend to anybody who needs a morning pick me up!

Initially thought was a good find. Porth beach the safest for us on an extremely busy holiday period. Should have taken a picnic. 3 lukewarm pasties, 2 ssusage rolls and an Americano coffee for £25. A little excessive. When ordered, we weren't told how long we'd have to wait so it was of no concern when they presented us with tge coffee upon ordering. 15 minutes later, still waiting and cold coffee.Asdvice if visiting Porth Beach....be prepared.....Roo's pleasant but a little disappointing.

Roo's is a small cafe across the road from the beach (Mermaid end). It's really small with a few seats inside and some tables and benches outside. They serve great coffee and a selection of teas and cakes. The staff are really friendly - adds to the great atmosphere - very laid back. It's a great place to sit and watch the world go by.Also a great place to pick up a coffee and go for a walk on The Island or beach.Great fun and recommended!

Fantastic find on our day trip to Bude. My husband had a delicious gluten free breakfast (finding somewhere good that's gluten free isn't always easy) and I enjoyed the American pancakes & a cappuccin
