Rockjam Spice in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Amazing food at this place. Ben is a magician when it comes to cooking. Rum cake and ginger cake was off the chart!! Add in Leon's rum shack and you have a slice of the Carribbean in Cornwall!! Good food, good vibes! This is the place to be !

When I booked a holiday in Perranporth I looked for restaurants local. On seeing Rockjam Spice I thought I must try this, and was NOT disappointed good hot food in an off the wall setting made for a great experience, and the portions are good, you will not leave there feeling hungry. I went for beer in town afterwards and struggled to drink as I was so STUFFED full of food

My girlfriend and I found out about this place by accident, while staying in a neighboring campsite. The food from Ben was second to none and love their ethos of no food waste. There also happened to be a reggae party going on too, in the amazing space they have created at the community cafe. With lots of lovely people and lovely vibes. Would totally recommend on many levels, checking this place out if you are in the area. They are only open Friday and Saturday evenings and parties happen once a month, which is a shame I would say. Thanks Ben and co for a lovely evening.

Amazing food full of flavour and totally fresh

Bought sone of the bbq sauce at a market in Truro just before Christmas. The bottle is now empty and we need to restock. Genuinely think this is the best bbq sauce I've ever had and it's great to be able to support a local business!

Been for a meal tonight it was of the charts great atmosphere authentic vibes and tastes of the Caribbean do yourself a favour and give it a try we will definitely be coming again thank you very much for tonight 😋👌

Top notch foood! ❤️ I've always enjoyed the taste of the carribean! But Its quite hard to find in cornwall especially at the high standard rockjam spice present! From there jams and sauces I use for my own business! to the restaurant café and pop ups I fill my own belly with! They're food is really tip-top scran! I can't wait to get my hands on some more jerk! Thankyou so much guys!

Fab food, good atmosphere and a good vibe. Highly recommend the jerk chicken and the curry goat. We drive from Carbis Bay. Finally some decent caribbean food in Cornwall.

We have always highly rated the Rock Jam sauces and thier creator, we now highly rate this fantastic restaurant, amazing food and relaxed atmosphere, highly recommend!!! We will be back, no doubt about it, thanks for a fantastic meal!

The food is stunning. In two days I've eaten: curry goat, jerk pork, jerk chicken, wings of fire, chocolate and banana cake, tried some ginger cake and lots and lots of fried plantain. Food worthy of Caribbean roots - a real reminder of holidays in the Caribbean and mid America. Portion sizes are great, pricing is very fair. I think the wings of fire are the hottest food I've ever eaten! This place is a real gem, the staff and food are lovely. A must visit when in Cornwall. One Love 💜

Tasty curry goat & even more amazing jerk pork, you just can't replicate that smokey taste! The ginger cake was also top! What a hidden gem!

If you have never tried authentic Jamaican cuisine. You should look no further in Cornwall. An real Caribbean experience. We will be back! These guys are showing that you do not need to have a restaurant overlooking the sea, or a large gamble of a bank loan to try and compete with chains or restaurants backed by those wanting to achieve a name from themselves along with their food. These guys, love the food, love what they do, love the community they serve. They have their soul in this place and have worked hard, it shows! “mi have inner luv fi your time”

We have just had the most amazing food at rockjam spice the curried goat was awesome, portion size was huge, I don't think I'll need to eat for a week, lovely chilled out atmosphere and super friendly I will definitely be back one of my new favourite places to eat

Found this little gem whilst on holiday in perranporth , easy to find , rustic , but honestly the food was amazing, so delicious, small menu so you know your guaranteed a fresh dish , but something for everyone, lovely, friendly guy served us , if ever lucky enough to be here in perranporth would surely visit

I haven't eaten at the restaurant but that is next on my to do list. I have bought the curry rub fantastic flavours, made a fish curry using it and also added some hot chilli jam..scrummy! Just had my new favourite version of cheese on toast using the hot chilli jam covered in cheese...Thank you for introducing these fantastic flavours to our palette 😁 Lyn

Easily my new favourite spot in Perran! Amazing food, for a great price! Super friendly staff and a wizzard of a chef cooking big flavours...I will be back.

Amazing authentic caribbean food at a very honest price cooked by a highly skilled Caribbean Chef Ben and served with a friendly smile. Highly recommended. The location is not in the centre of Perranporth but it is easy to reach by car and easy access. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious jams! My favorite is the sweet Chilli as I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to spice. Although I have stepped up to the hot jerk Chilli Jam which is delicious on sandwiches to add a bit of heat!

Amazing food! The flavours are incredible and portion sizes are perfect! I had to choose two mains as they were too delicious not to! Would recommend highly and looking forward to returning! Staff were really friendly and service was so quick!! Thank you again!

HOTTEST HOT WINGS EVER!!! Absolutely fantastic food!!! The Hot Wings were certainly the HOTTEST Wings I have ever had! I had the Jerk Pork and Wings, my lady had the Akkee and Fish which was superb. We also shared a Mac and Cheese which was spot on! A proper feast! Oh and don't forget your Festivals!! Fried dumplings were amazing! Can not give this place enough stars. Friendly staff and great location! Also had to take a bottle of 7 Bells hot sauce too Can't! If you love your spice then this is the place for you! Can't wait to go back! Top work Ben!

Well worth a visit What a great place to have food, I can't believe it took me so long to reach here. Upon entering your greater with a warm friendly welcome, tasty food and hearty portions sizes. I guarantee you won't leave hungry! We enjoyed our meal so much I even ordered a cheeky takeaway for my lunch the following day. Thanks guys I can't wait to come back soon.

Absolutely would recommend these products and I'm from London where Caribbean food is a saturated market. The flavour and authentic spices used, it tastes so fresh! By far my favourite is the Sweet chilli jerk jam, and close second is the Jerk rub. I order with them every month. Thumbs up from me

Bought one of each of the sauces -except the 7bells, not brave enough!- and they are (were!) all Amazing! Just delicious 🌶️ and Ben is super helpful too. Totally recommend! 👌

Amazing food, you gotta try it all!! A must visit if your in perrenporth but worth the travel too if your further away, I'm in newquay! Great location too, sunsets are stunning!!
