2 of us had cod,chips and curry sauce and a drink here. Fish was ok, not a big portion and chips were nice. However we thought the curry sauce was very good.

Food portions are not great. Fish is just pure batter and hardly any fish Chips were all scraggy Would definitely not come here again

Without a doubt, hands down, the worst fish and chips I’ve experienced in the 40 years I’ve been alive. They actually cook frozen chips, the haddock was tiny and the cost of it was disgusting. I was starving, but I still didn’t finish it. If I could give it zero stars I would. Avoid like the plague.

Very nice food, great fast service. Amazing customer service and effective staff. A bit expensive but then again it is in a holiday resort. Out of all the restaurants in Butlins it has probably the best service and great staff.

Without doubt the worst fish and chips I've ever tasted and it's criminal how much they charge for something so bad! Everything about it was horrendous tasted like some kind of £1 frozen fish and chips you'd get from a budget supermarket!

Used to be a great place to eat. Sadly gone so far downhill it's embarrassing. Called in at 19.30. Wanted haddock and chips. Got no haddock ready. Ok can you put one in for me. No, we're not putting them in, we've got cod ready. Don't want cod, I wanted haddock. Sorry we've got none. Don't think I'll be going back, shocking service.

Foood was most probably the worst I’ve ever Eaton I’ve had prison food better than this place..£25 for a load of disgusting cold food that was taken bk twice ..I’d advise family’s to stay away from this place …rude staff ain’t the ord ..

Absolutely disgusting. Paid £24 for 2 portions of chios, 6 tiny batteted sausages and 2 drinks. Chips were disgusting cheap, pre packed frozen chips. Not proper chip shop chips. Owners should be ashamed they are selling disgusting food like this

What a rip off !!! £17 for two tiny scraps of fish that looked like they had been cut with a scalpel they were that thin and dry chips. Avoid if you don’t want to be disappointed.

After the long drive, a show, to the room to unpack and change, we were tired so went for a chippy. Chips, fish, nuggets and spicy sausage went down easy.

Been a family venue we at first got asked to sit outside as had a buggy, not a problem understand then once served as to sit at certain set as chairs as was only 3 of us, as ones with little ones know when then set ideas on where sitting if can go with it, woman said we might get busy soon, restaurant seats about rough guess 60 to 100? Was 2 people in!!After that’s was fuming and am just not that type of person, fish and chips was just basic fare and considering the fish and chips can get by walking of campus few yards just not worth it.Food ok service dreadful and won’t go back well done.

Covid stanadrad as usual , superb fish and chips , big pieces of fish that didn't disappoint at all, Price was also good and the service was excellent from the staff.

We rarely go for fish and chips but we had no better options as the Firehouse was closed. We were glad that they were closed. The fish was superb, plenty of chips and extras like mushy peas and baked beans for only a pound. Our daughter had cod bites and cleared the plate. We'll go again and did two days in a row.

Couldn't eat my fish and chips. The batter wasn't cooked through and the chips were poor. Very disappointing when I was looking forward to them.

Reasonable at price although much cheaper if eat outside of Butlins but we had vouchers to use up so very cheap for us

Seen previous reports and thought I would try it Just had a bag of chips on plastic Lunch time and not very busy Served reasonably quick Average chips. eat outside dome as seating area outside can be noisy

Its in the main area near to the kids entertainment which is handy for hungry kids. I was pleasently surprised it was a reasonable price.

the food here is cooked and served to your table nice fresh and hot the area was clean and staff friendly

excellent food and great service. prices were reasonable for such a site. we have used it on previous visits and will use it in future visits.

Large chips - which was enough for one child, two sausages and a curry sauce came to 6.55. Silly that they don't sell single fish cakes or sausages. Service was absolutely shocking, rude and couldn't understand English. Staff need to be sorted out and so do portion sizes. Ruined our dinner out. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!

Ordered fish and chips, lovely food clean restaurant we would definitely recommend it, prices reasonable too .

For a cafe in butlins you would have thought it would provide decent food for kids I wouldn't feed food from here to the dog never mind anything else defo not visit again

We ordered cod fish bites with chips, calamari and regular cod and chips. Food was greasy! My son's fish and chips were served in a small plate the fish was hanging both ends and very uncomfortable to eat.

Would never use again! Sausage and chips! Sausage ok - not hot, chips awful - it was as though they were left overs from day before - never in my life had any this bad - bleh!

Really tasty hot chips, perfect after our night out. Reasonable price too and friendly service with a smile.

Visited here while on our week stay. Asked for fish and chips and was very dissapointed. Was half a fillet, full of bones and batter was soggy. I went back to the shop to see if they could rectifie it and the women shook it off. Said there was nothing she could do about it. When speaking to another person she said I needed a receipt, the women already said she remembered my order and still she wasn't bothered about it. Customer service was appalling for a holiday park.

Very, very average fish and chips, small portions and expensive topped off by a very annoying server who insisted singing along to the radio at the top of his voice to everybodies annoyance.

Had lunch and dinner and food was top notch. Food reasonably priced and cooked fresh. Would certainly return back here in future

We used the premier dinning so I like to stock up so I do not have to buy anything else but my 9yo does not work on the same principle. So she wanted something to eat so just got her some chips. Have to say some of the best chips I have ever had, and ashamed to admit it I probably ate more than she did :) Large chips were £2.50 and we did get a big portion so did not think too bad.

we have eaten here afew times even tho its expensive the food is nice its clean and its always busy you will enjoy your fish n chips

Popped in for a bite to eat during our stay. Chips a little dry but the cod bites were yummy! Curry sauce next time :)

We got fish and chips twice and a kids chicken nugget meal food was very nice and got a massive portion!!!, before we even left the till Gloria was cleaning up and noticed we wanted to sit at the table near by and cleaned it for us then came and helped me with my tray to the table and asked all of us if there was anything else we needed!, also came back to check that everything was okay and even when we left came and said good bye and was so polite it was lovely to see, excellent customer skills!, (didnt get any other chat or comments from any other team member), so thanks for making the effort Gloria..

A bit of a queue considering the time of night and the chips were a little under cooked but preferable to Burger King fries when you fancy some chips.

gloria was excellant as a waitress and helped our grandson decide what he wanted and kept him enterained. well done gloria!

We came here during our Butlin’s visit as we do every year. The staff are lovely but this year the food was a disaster-apart from the mushy peas they were nice.

The staff are mega friendly and helpful, but it's basically a medium quality fish and chip shop! £29.00 for lunch for 3 people - ouch - I wish i'd had a better look around the Skyline Pavilion for other choices as my fish and chips were average, but greasy, so if we go back we'll be giving it a miss sorry!

Far too expensive for what you get, come on, it's a Fish'n'Chip shop, but as usual in Butlins you pay through the nose. Not a lot more to say, the food was OK

Over priced food within a Butlins resort. £22 it cost for 3 people! The staff seemed very miserable, not exactly clean, just an overpriced chip shop. If my kids weren’t so hungry I would not have eaten here. Stick to proper seaside chip shops.

Ate here during our recent visit to Butlins. After seeing the portion of a fish & chips being brought out it was a very generous one and too big for what I wanted. We all opted for the kids meals, Cod bites, Scampi, and chicken nuggets these came with a good serving of chips and a small drink or bottle of water for £4.95 each. If you want to feed a family of 4 for under £20 and eat good quality food with friendly staff eat here.

Came here with my husband however didn’t fancy fish and chips so opted for chicken nuggets and chips and husband had sausage and chips. Food was reasonable in price and staff were friendly with a super speedy service. Would definitely recommend

Really lovely fresh fish and chips. Great service too. Restaurant clean and tidy. Would eat there again. Minus - it's within Butlins. Very noisy location.

There were 23 of us in our party & some of us tried the chip shop on the first day, they said we would be better off trying somewhere else as the food wasn’t good! We decided to try it anyway & the food was delicious, the cost however, not so good!!! Very expensive, 2 sausage, 3 chips, gravy & beans over £20!!! Wowsers!

The fish is lovely. Very white and batter delicious, although not v crispy but I didn’t mind! Hubby on the other hand didn’t rate it.

We ate here twice on our week stay the first day the food was all cooked fresh and tasted lovely so said we’d come back.

Avoid this chip it is terrible.chips, not proper chippy chips and fish really small and well overpriced.definitely the worst chippie Butlins has ever had.

Chips made from black and green potatoes. Fish is actually half a fish. Terrible. Avoid like the plague.

Spent the weekend at Butlin’s on my annual 70s music weekend. Friends of mine who I was with recommended trying out Rock & Sole, in the main entertainment complex. They’d tried it before on a few occasions and rated it very highly. The queue was understandably long at 11:00pm after we’d seen a headline act at one of the venues a short walk away. Got served quickly and efficiently by friendly staff who had to deal with a long line of loud, inebriated customers. My friend and I ordered cod and chips: regular for £5.05 and the large for £6.05. Was astounded that it didn’t cover the price for chips, which came in at £2.00 for a regular portion and £2.50 for the larger size. Thankfully the food more than made up for the cost. Batter was wonderfully crunchy; cod was firm and full of flavour; chips were thick-cut and crispy as well as plentiful. So good was it that I went back and had the same again, as did my friend, but this time time we added mushy peas and curry sauce to our meals. Delicious! Will be making sure I make room for my next visit to Rock & Sole at my next venture to Butlin’s at Skegness. Highly recommended!

Got sausage and chips and fish cake and chips curry sauce it was £12 .50 and they where raw chips and cheap frozen fish cakes went in the bin don't waste your money go elsewhere

Childs meal £4.75 Three children and 1 adults came to £21.50. It said they use the potatos for fluffy chips. Stodgy and funny aftertaste. Queues can be very long with slow service

Visited on 29th and order 2 large potions of chips and it took 20 minutes to serve them. Had to ask for a bag serveral times.

Went on Tuesday 14th March and had 6 meals 4 adult and 2 kids and the chips were awful, full of black bits, which I believe is caused by bruising and small uneatable off cuts of potatoes the size of a thumb nail. Also Iam sure that they had been reheated. Cost £2 per portion for 10p worth of potatoes. I complained and was asked if I would like to see "The team leader" to which I replied yes please then was informed that she wasn't there.

Good fish and chips and meals had by the family but is quite expensive for what you get, small fish & chips £8+ adding a side and drink is well over £10 which for a chippy is very expensive. Kids meal was a good deal but prices have gone up compared to the advertised menu on butlins website.

Can't beat a dish of fish and chips and the prices are good too. Even lil man was happy with his meal. Could do with opening abit earlier

Ate here a few times while at Butlins, great fish and chips and the portion sizes were good for the price you pay, nice and clean inside the restaurant and ample seating

I wanted Haddock, they didn't have any, I don't really like Cod but had that anyway, the chips were very dry, not much else I can say, the area was clean and well maintained

I wasnt expecting much from these due to being inside busy Butlins complex and thought we'd get tasteless, cheap fish that had been frozen but I can honestly say we all enjoyed our fresh Fish, Chips, mushy peas and homemade tartare sauce, and would recommend , only downside, it was a bit pricey

The restaurant was very clean, the staff were so nice and helpful and the food was delicious. We were all very full when leaving and meal for 2 adults and a child came to £21.00 including a drink!! Brilliant if you want a cheap meal out!!!

Superb fish and chips.good choice is side dishes. Very good service. Only down side is that the noise from the stage can be very loud when there is something on.

My hubby got me and himself some Scampi and Chips with a soft drink lovely dinner that night. The Scampi was cooked perfectly

very helpful with my allergies, beautiful oven steamed fish. Chunky chips. We went more than once !!!

This is a shame as it is not a real chippy. The chips are clearly oven chips and the food is certainly not cheap. £2.40 for small chips?!?! If only they would change it back to Harry Ramsden's like it used to be years ago.

We have eaten here every time we go to Butlins and its always been really good. Plenty of choice, friendly staff and clean premises.

Wonderful fish and chips good value for money Fish add crunchy battery and the chips were hot crunchy I would recommend this chip shop to anyone

We bought a takeaway from here last week while staying at Butlins. The food was reasonably priced and you get lots in a portion. The chips were one of he best I have tasted and not greasy like some chippies. They are open quite late and a great alternative to Burger King who offer terrible customer service.

Lovely food,kind staff,music player,nice chips,fish,sausage and sauce,we went with family. Very clean and quick service
