Rocca Restaurant & Cocktail Bar in Tunbridge Wells

The food is absolutely delicious, all fresh produce and generous portions! Grilled seabass was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside. Tiger prawns incredibly succulent, bursting with flavours. Stuffed aubergine (Imam Bayildi) is a great starter, but do also try one of the hot or cold starters to share, so rich in flavours & herbs. Salads were crisp, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service is impeccable! We were warmly welcomed by friendly Bianca, whose bright smile lights up the room. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with lovely decor that makes this venue a perfect choice for special occasions. We can't recommend Rocca highly enough! We love both restaurants in East Grinstead & Tunbridge Wells. Hands down to the owner Ahmad who pours his heart & soul into this business.

What a great decoration they have, is great vipe felling, food is will take your another world. I would definitely advise to visit there.

Disappointed that one of our starters didn’t come with bread as advertised. One of our main courses was supposed to come with bulgar wheat and again it didn’t. The Halloumi was over cooked and very chewy. The rest of the dishes were okay. A bit more attention to detail and this restaurant would be okay.

I’m so disappointed! I booked a table for my husband and my daughter and her boyfriend for my daughter‘s 18th birthday. I popped by earlier in the day to deliver some flowers and a balloon which I asked them to put on the table so that it was there when we arrived. When we turned up, the flowers were nowhere to be seen but were brought to our table 10 minutes after arrival, which is not what I wanted, but not the end of the world so I let that go. We ordered our food and as soon as our mains were cleared we were very swiftly given our bill which we hadn’t asked for. I mentioned to the waiter that we hadn’t yet ordered dessert. He told us that our table was only available for 90 minutes and that we needed to leave! At that point it was 8:07. Our table was booked for 7 pm so we had been there for only one hour and seven minutes. I said to him “no” that that was not correct and that we wanted to order dessert. He tried to argue the point and it got a little heated. He then took the bill away and we were given dessert menus but nobody ever came back to take our order. In the end we decided to leave and went up to the counter to pay the bill at which point I spoke to the general manager. It all got a little heated and I expressed my disappointment that they had ruined our experience and that I had wanted this to be special for my daughter’s 18th birthday. They were gracious enough to reduce the bill quite considerably however the damage had been done. We won’t be going back. I feel they treated us appallingly! The general manager told us that their staff had been advised not to disturb certain tables, one of which was supposedly ours and that there had been a misunderstanding and those that were only in for drinks were given a shorter timeframe at the table however, all tables around us were eating…..

Big spacious restaurant.. I loved the decoration. The food was good. My steak was not perfect but was nice. The king prawns were yummy, chocolate cake was a dry…Service was a bit slow. I had to remind the waitresses what I ordered as side dish and drinks. One of the toilets were out of order. But overall we’re clean. They have nice cocktail menu.

Lovely interior design with an open kitchen. Very good food, especially the baklava which was amazing! Fabulous Pina Colada's. Really friendly, efficient staff. A bit noisy (it was busy), not the place for quiet conversation but all in all we had a great evening.

Amazing service, amazing food! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Portions were very generous. Had the hot fish starter for 2 which included king prawns, whitebait, calamari and halloumi. The whitebait melted in your mouth. It was so fresh. Absolutely delicious food and will definitely return.

Absolutely great meal. Attentive staff freshly cooked food and generous portions. Great choice. We went for lunch and although it was a little quieter, we were able feel welcome. Lovely decoration. Feels welcoming. We can’t wait to go back to try more of the menu.

Great restaurant, fabulous food and lots of it. Went for a friends 50th after seeing it pop up multiple times on my Instagram. Super attentive staff that allowed us to bring a cake and pop up a couple of decorations. Food was fabulous and generous portions. Would highly recommend and will visit again on a weekend to get the party vibe they have there.

Thought this was a restaurant but clearly on Friday night this is actually a pick up joint. Nothing wrong with that if that's what you’re looking for. But weird mix of 17yo boys and 50+ women dancing gave me the ick. Nice food weird vibe

Absolutely lovely place food was excellent and the staff were so nice and friendly we had a couple of cocktails pina coladas which were really nice it’s a great place to visit

Dropped in on Sunday evening and was the only customers in until a few more customers entered after 30 minutes. Staff were superb, just on the right side of attentive! Not hovering over you and not disappearing either! Food was exquisite! We didn’t bother with starters as we weren’t overly hungry but were quickly provided with olives and bread and dips before our main courses arrived which were beautifully presented and tasted out of this world! Unfortunately not living local means a return trip won’t be soon but next time we pass through will definitely be returning!

Stayed in RTb for the weekend and this place caught our eye ..fantastic menu, great vibes, excellent service and really good value. Food was top notch too.

Excellent food! We’ve been here a number of times and the food is always fresh and perfectly cooked. The chicken and lamb were tasty and tender. The complimentary bread, dips and salad are a nice touch and again, really tasty. We did order extra baba ghanoush and tzatziki and did find them quite pricey I thought. The baclava was good although not as good as on our previous visit as I felt they’d covered it in too many nuts so it lost some of its gooey goodness! The drinks menu is substantial and the wine I had (Malbec) was lovely. My daughter had a virgin piña colada, it was delicious! The service is friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend! Thank you Sedat for your efficient service and to all of you for a delicious meal!

First visit to Rocca and will definitely be back! Great cocktails in lovely surroundings, followed by a delicious lunch - Falafel, Whitebait and Turkish Sausage to start, followed by Lamb Guvec, Chicken Shish and Sea Bream (there were 3 of us). All dishes beautifully presented, and excellent hosting. The portions are filing, but we were able to take home some food that we couldn't finish. However we did indulge in Rocca's Baklava - fantastic! Just back from holiday in Turkey, so this was a real treat!

Beautiful decor and furniture. Fab cocktails. Well priced. Although was chilly but could understand the heating not being on as we were the only people in there and it's a big restaurant

Great lunch, enjoyed a hot vegetarian platter with dips, pitta, salad and tzatziki, delicious. Top quality cocktails too. Service was brilliant, very friendly. Highly recommend.

What a shame because been before and it was good pretty much everyone’s dinner was cold had to send most of the 10 meals back Food was well done when I asked for rare Yes money was taken off bill however I just wanted to have a nice birthday Meal The lamb was very chewy You have to have your phone light on to see the menu as so dark in the restaurant Will not be returning

Must book on a Saturday. Bar staff managed to throw a drink over me, but did have the decency to not charge us. Waiting staff let is down and we had to walk out. Need to decide if they are a Restaurant or a drinking den

Great food and good service. Huge portions so order carefully. The Baklava is by far the best I have ever had. Ambience is great especially if they have a singer on. We live 200 yards away and are her a lot.

Effectively, a bar and Turkish restaurant with a huge menu, although slightly more limited wine list. First time since it changed hands, and we had a lovely night, but what made it was the pleasant atmosphere and the staff who were friendly, polite and fun. Have to say the food was just ok, and could have been better with huge portions that could be cut back and a little more care on the cooking. But, a really promising restaurant that is worth a visit and we will definitely go back.

Went here for dinner, food was very nice, however the service was lacking. It was a Sunday night so was not busy so could not use that as an excuse. We were left with dirty plates for quite a while, we had to ask for dessert menu, would have had one but no one can back to take the order, so they missed out on that extra bit of revenue. We left at that point. Shame as the food is very good.

Excellent food, especially the mezze sharing dishes which were bursting with flavour and absolutely delicious. Service was excellent despite being it very busy and generally a fun, bustling atmosphere. Highly recommend this place, will go back again soon.

Fabulous evening with excellent service and amazing food and cocktails. The Cosmopolitan was a show stopper! Had to take a doggy bag as the food was immense. Would highly recommend for atmosphere and a great evening. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Keep up the great work - we will definitely be back soon.

Wow wow wow. If I could give 6 stars I would. The hospitality was superb, friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, superbly presented. Our eyes were bigger than our belly and took the left overs home. Wonderful decor inside with a great modern vibe. I truly wish bianca and her team all the success with their new restaurant. We shall most definitely be back.

My daughter and I visited Rocca Tunbridge wells for the first time this afternoon. We enjoyed cocktails and were given complementary bread dips and olives. Lovely restaurant and friendly service. Have often visited the East Grinstead restaurant. Loved the decor in this restaurant and I am sure if the food is as good as the East Grinstead restaurant it will do very well here. Will definitely return for a meal in the future.

My friends and I stumbled across this recently opened restaurant and what a "find" it was ! Excellent menu and quality of cuisine. The 9 of us were made to feel very welcome and all of us said we'd like to return soon.
