Pepe's in Tunbridge Wells

Trying Pepe’s after because of my TikTok fyp page.And luckily for me I got such a good deal, the chick n rice meal deal came with free paneer rice which is such a good deal! And their garlic mayo that we got was 10/10 goes so well with the whole meal.Their chicken that came with the rice was also very delicious, well marinated and grilled! And don’t be fooled by the same box that it comes with, the portion is huge and they stuff it to the brim!

Not bad, chips were a decent size portion but the peri peri seasoning was hit and miss, some chips were coated with seasoning and some were plain, the garlic sauce was very watered down so Im glad it was free with the meal because I wouldn't have bought it, the chicken burger patty was very thin and the bun was slightly dry, but its still better and cheaper than the Burger King thats just down the road. You wont find perfect meals here but its cheap and cheerful and hits the spot. Top marks for your staff, friendly, welcoming and was at the til in heart beat when I stepped into the shop ready to take my order

You get what you order…. Piri piri chicken! It’s not dry, it tastes nice, it is what it is. Chicken and chips! I would have again if I couldn’t be arsed to cook one myself. Well done to the chief grilling guy

i am a massive lover of chicken, especially when it has lots of flavour. and pepe’s does not disappoint. i always order the chicken ‘n’ rice box meal with peri peri chips as it is my go to favourite meal from there. the chicken is packed with flavour and is very succulent; and the rice, the biryani spices that it’s cooked with makes it so delicious. i love the peri peri chips as they add an extra oopmh to the already nice chips. i always get the extra hot sauce as well and the label does not lie. the heat from it is not for the faint hearted however it goes great with the chips. it always fills me up therefore i would say it is a value for money.

Nothing wrong with the restaurant, good food at Pepe’s however I ordered at 7:20pm the food arrived at 9:22pm, after I re-ordered through Uber Eats, the same meal from the same restaurant at 9pm having already waited for over 1.5 hours. Just eat now claiming they have ordered the food which is certainly not the case and I can guaranty that the delivery number which is private to me was not disclosed to a driver. Furthermore I called the restaurant at 8:23pm and confirmed the food was ready.

Been coming to this branch very often food has been amazing, recently with last order chicken wasnt cooked well or seasons as last time must be a change of chef

Rip off. I bought 5 chicken wings meal with fries and Pepsi. Cost me £9.29, wings size were size of my pinky finger. It was also very watery, paper bag got very wet. Will not buy from here again.

Best grill I had in uk. I ordered whole chicken extra hot and extreme hot and both were really nice. The chicken was very juicy even the breast piece. Will order from them again

It was very bad experience. The order took time and was delivered without 4 large Fries that were part of the order. I called Pepe’s, they confirmed that they gave it to the delivery driver but driver did not pass it to us.

Never leave a negative review. The order was missing half chicken, sauce. The chips were so cold and there was only 2 mouthfuls worth. The pasta had 4 pieces of chicken on top. 1 rice box was half full. Other rice box was excellent. For £43.95

3 meals ordered with sides, ofwhich were missing. Called Pepes who took zero responsibility and blamed Just Eat even though the bag arrived fully sealed so mistake was made from your establishment! Disgusting customer service!!

Driver stole my burger and side. Spoke to the restaurant and they said it wasn't down to them and that I had to contact the delivery company. Not the first time it's happened to me and after reading other people's comments, it seems like it's a common issue. Will not be using them again as they can't be trusted or accept responsibility for their drivers. Avoid at all costs.

The delivery driver was extremely rude and unprofessional. He didn’t deliver it to me for what I paid and I was asked to go out and collect it from him.

Chicken wings are delicious but very small in size.

I got a delivery, although not through their website as they don’t have to order through which is a downside. However, this did not worry me at the time of eating my meal as it was a wonderful takeaway! I ordered the chicken and rice box with hot spice and the chicken was so moist and flavourful. The rice was packed with seasonings and the chicken added extra succulent flavours. Small portion sizes at Pepe’s are not a thing! They do not hold back! I recommend for takeaway as it is such a value for money. I am still yet to sit in but i have heard feedback from friends as they have similar comments to me, this just proves delivery doesn’t change a lovely meal!

Hi everyone I tried too many times at restaurant pepes i was grettend with warm and friendly atmosphere i tried peri peri grill burger and rice box with hot flavour the peri peri sauce is the perfect taste i really recommend if you wanna try peri peri chicken or rice box moreover its halal so this is the best thing so i very like it

To be honest very happy with service just really annoyed that after ordering(as you can see) countless times to my home address from Pepe’s which is our favourite takeaway!! I am now being told that you no longer deliver to my address!!! Very very disappointed and do not understand why???

Food is really amazing. We returning every week for family meal. It’s clean and tidy. Only to attention, I want to mention one of the staff (lady with scarf) taller than rest it’s very rude. She’s very grumpy replying in rude way. She’s not polite when ordering food. Rest is absolutely amazing.

I’m still yet to receive my food. When calling the restaurant they didn’t even ask for an order number they just fobbed me off and told me it would be ten minutes. 30 minutes later I’m still waiting. It’s awful customer service from someone who has made a lot of orders through pepe’s. I’m expecting a full refund, and some food would be nice….

They did such a great service today.I missed my delivery drivers phone call & when I phoned them they sorted all out without any problems!Food came quick and still hot and delicious as always!Highly recommended

Ordered Pepe's fast platter - Full chicken, wings, tenders, pita, salad, dips and drink. Tired Hot, Extra hot and extreme flavours. Have ordered a few times , food has been good but a bit on the pricey side for the quantity.

Food turned up two hours after making the order food stone cold was told on the phone after calling them due to food still not received an hour after it said it would be delivered that an attempt had been made to deliver which was rubbish

Chips were slightly different than the normal ones we are used to. otherwise everything was lovely.

no peri peri salt, i asked for mild rice , it was nothing like mild. fries were way to little compared to large fries i ordered. totally disappointed with the order.
