Robins Farm, Dining & Carvery in Swindon

We were there for our wedding anniversary meal, and with diatree needs for my Coelica disease all staff were very helpful, and it was superb evening my wife and i had a lovely evening thank you to all staff

Can not thank the staff enough they have gone over and beyond in the service we received, my husband is Celiac and it's lovely to be able to eat out without the worry of my husband being poorly thank you guys so much.

Wow. What a place. Located in a great area and the staff couldn’t be any friendlier. Food is gorgous and it’s at a great price. Lucky to have this on our doorstep

Awful. Very bland food, ingredients missing from food but not informed on ordering. No follow up…. Best bit about it was the bottled water!

Went for dinner Ordered a steak and a Hunters chicken The steak was dry and was asked to be cooked medium well but was brought out extra well done and the peas were undercooked and crunchy The chips on both plates were bland. Drinks took 15 minutes to arrive and even then no one brought them over to the table my partner has to go query where they were after our starters has come out before the drinks were brought over and we had finished the starters at this point. The chicken was partly undercooked as a result of this I had left most of my meal as I am pregnant and wasn’t going to risk eating undercooked meat. We were not checked upon when we had our food and we just left our whole visit after working in a restaurant/pub industry myself. I know that it’s compulsory to do check backs on customers. The only thing I couldn’t complain about was the corn on the cob. As this Didn’t require any seasoning. Will not be returning and do NOT recommend especially if pregnant

Really lovely breakfast…Buffet all you can eat and such a reasonable price Good location if you are travelling Staff are lovely too Ice cream and cakes look amazing!

The carvery was delicious & could have a whole bucket of the crazy, so delicious. My daughter had a burger, which she really enjoyed. We were served by Antonio who was efficient & friendly. Great food & great service

Absolutely blown away with how fantastic Graham was. His service was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely and considering there were 14 of us over 3 tables all of our meals were lovely. Thanks again Robins Farm.

We visited on opening day, our first impressions were fantastic, we felt safe and secure, all procedures were explained on arrival .We ordered on the. App, was quick and painless.Carvery was amazing and we all missed that soooooo much, beautiful veg and cracking roasties.Staff were amazing and great too see the same team still there after what seems an eternity.

I was very pleased to go out the day the restrictions changed and we can sit inside. What better place to go than Robins Farm. We had some fantastic food with a fantastic service. Very warming staff and a great day out for a carvery.

Husband and I decided to try this restaurant. What a brilliant place to go. Plenty of seats, polite staff who explaines to you about the safety aspect of covid. Food is a good price. Weekday carvery only £6.99 and is very nice and large.Once we are out of teir 3 we will be coming back again.

With all thats going on was a bit worried about booking Christmas day Lunch for the Family. Well i didn't need to worry as from the moment I decised to book the Robins farm the service and warmth I received was amazing. From keeping in touch with me regarding opening or not to the service we received on the day was nothing short of excellent. It meant my family and I could relax and enjoy.I would like to thank all the team at this establishment and will certainly be revisisting when they re open.Enjoy your time off you desrve it and thank you

We visited today for our third successive Christmas day lunch, as per last year the visit was superb.Food was amazing and plentiful as always.Service was great all staff were happy and friendly , even in these sad covid times we all felt very safe and were delighted with the atmosphere.Had to take our cakes home as were full to bursting.Fantastic job Robins farm, hope to see you open again soon.

Just come back from robins farm after a lunchtime carvery very quite but still seated us in an area with others but while we were having are meal there was a lady who had a very bad continuous cough which was so bad we had to leave are unfinished meals & drinks.my point is in the present times we are in they should not of let her in or at least sit others away from her we paid our bill and let the staff know why they was aware of this and did nothing no offer of another table or refund very disappointing experience won't be risking this place again while in this currant covid climate

I came to robins farm this month and had Molly as our server for the afternoon. She was extremely professional and kind to my whole table, constantly checking if we were happy and if our food was okay. Would 10/10 go back to this restaurant, and would highly recommend Molly as an amazing waitress :)

Great covid friendly visit in uncertain times, carvery was delicious and plentiful, had some great cakes to take away also. Friendly service and pub looked very festive and welcoming

Very Covid safe pub. Very warm welcome and food was fantastic quality. Everyone was super friendly and regularly checked we had everything we needed. Plus the play area was great to keep the kids entertained 😊 very happy will definitely be back.

Came in on sunday for a roast amazing service was served by molly and she an great host and server highly recommend coming to this restaurant molly had made enjoyable will 100% be back.

First time visiting robins farm and I was greeted by the lovely molly who got us seated straight away and explain how the carvery works with the new covid regulations. Very bubbly and friendly girl who made us feel very welcome. She then checked to see how the food was and to see if there was anything else she could get us. Will definitely be visiting again !!

Staff were so helpful and followed all corona guidelines, great service food was wicked. We had check ups on our food and were offered drinks in a timely manner.

Glad to see Robin's Farm back open after being closed during lockdown. Staff were friendly and had all safety measures in place. Food was yummy as always and I'm happy to see Cakeaway is still on the menu, i've missed it so much!

Popped here to book for xmas, site was still on furlough, but spoke to the manager who was setting up the business, managed to get some christmas menus and hopefully can get booked in for xmas . Lovely site and the best carvery in Swindon.

As per usual the same food and excellent tastes from one of the best carveries at farmhouse inns. I still say the cherrytree is my favourite but probably cause its local

feeling lazy missed my Sunday roast a flash thought comes while driving past Robins farm on the way from work and so 2hrs later a fantastic carvery we both had the best of tastes

Visited this place twice in the 4 days I was in Swindon. The staff were very friendly throughout both visits and the meals were amazing great portions and excellent choice. The cakes looked amazing and would be a meal on their own. I visited on my last visit and the standards have not dropped I will be back.

High quality standard pub food at a good price. Plenty of easy parking and space inside the location.

We come for tribute night every month staff are always friendly and helpful. Service always good and food is great.

We had the cavery, and it was really good. I especially enjoyed the turkey - very moist. When we left took a red valvet cake with us which I’d highly recommend. Staff were great. All around smashing service!

Wow what a team, so impressed today with the level of service and great carvery received today. So much veg and potatoes to choose from and had a quick chat with Nigel the GM who is a fellow Taffy. Great visit.

Shame as previously had good food here. Roast potatoes were black and Beef taken home for the dog as I couldnt chew this. Two other tables had the same opinion.

Have been here several times and service is usually inefficient but hit a new low today. Two members of staff taking orders, but have to leave bar area to fetch cakes serve ice creams kiddies slush and take drinks out that have been ordered at a later stage, so despite long queue at times there can be no-one behind the bar. A separate member of staff is indisputably required for this at busy times.

Carvery was closed. Decided to stay anyway and order from menu. Waited nearly an hour for food. One meal was wrong, ordered burger but no cheese because of dairy intolerance. Ordered extra veg which never came. Very different to meal we had last week.

Wow,what has gone wrong with this place? . The two stars I gave were for the very nice staff,not at all for the food,my last visit was on Thursday 20th feb .The carvery was discussing...roast potatoes were cooked until hard and black,could not cut the beef and stuffing was mushy,I was given refund with other disgusted customers.We wish all the nice staff all the ver best ,as that was our last time at the robins farm

Came for a meal with friends, food was piping hot, the staff were all friendly and approachable. The manager Nigel was wonderful to chat to and told us all about the upcoming entertainment. Will be back soon!!

very poor they had know food they run out of carvery, they run out of half of the food on menu, had kids running around and hot food being delivered to tables very disapointed with experiance steak wasnt cooked way i want it booked table at 6:30 would of thought they be food but had know. will not come again and wont recommend to come here very disgusting

Fantastic food on the main menu and the service was also great! Will be going again. When I asked for help with what I should order the staff knew the menu well! The service was quick and they even checked up on my food regularly but not too much to make sure I was enjoying my time.

Visited here Wednesday for the quiz night hosted by Aaron and was a very thought through quiz, highly recommended if you know the theme. Lots of fun and laughter, the ultimate drinks (2pint) are amazing lasted the whole evening and cheap enough,had the carvery which was cooked to perfection,mash was lush as was the taste of the gravy. Staff all friendly and care about you.

Came here for a family meal, and the carvery meat and vegetables were all dried out and horrible. We told the staff and all we got was I will tell the chef, even though we already had it on our plates.

Visited for late lunch on new years day. Wasn't too busy. Last 2 visits I made were awful I must say, but I thought I would try again. Very pleasantly surpris

I have been to this place several times now and would like to say how great the food is and well priced. There is a huge variety of dishes to chose from and a really good carvery. I have had a burger on one visit which was delicious but usually opt for the carvery; you get a choice of 2 - 3 joints and a wonderful selection of piping hot vegetables all well cooked.

Very welcoming and beyond the call of duty with fabulous food which made the occasion even more special. Will visit again soon

Visit here this evening and my salmon was raw in the middle, so was sent back, the curry was sent back as very oily, just not good enough, would not recommend this place

I cannot fault this place - me and my family had a fabulous meal Boxing Day, although you could see the restaurant was under staffed, the staff pulled together and did their absolute best. I'm sure they'd all have preferred being at home with their families on Boxing Day, sadly during my visit I saw a few moaning and complaining - all the staff dealt with the 3 cases I saw professionally and quickly (I felt so sorry for them!) I feel people should understand (as the saying goes) you don't get champagne service with lemonade prices! For what you pay, the food and service you receive is fantastic! I've been coming here since it opened, never had a bad meal - highly recommended!

Visited today as a party of 9 for a Boxing Day/Birthday gathering, food was superb and the service was first class despite being very busy. Thank you to all your staff for giving up there Boxing Day.
