Need a card machine - really inconvenient not to have one - losing themselves customers…and money. Surely not too much to ask!

Really fancied a proper meat filled, piping hot pie with steaming potatoes and gravy. That’s not what we got. Instead we got a small flat pie that was not piping hot, somewhat warm potato and what felt like pea soup just swimming around the plate. Food was quick, as it was all kept under a hot plate that you get in a school canteen. The pie was home made, and the pastry was delicious. The meat was very lean mince and that was it. Nothing else. Was bland. The staff however were nothing but friendly, put a smile on your face and could not fault them. I personally did not enjoy, but for the staff alone I would recommend

We came to the shop at opening time to get pie and mash before heading to the football…but they didn’t have a server or the sever didn’t turn up so we couldn’t eat. Not happy.

First time I have been to robins. A few of us guys go around different pie & mash shops in London north & south of the river. Thought we would try Robins, but this time only two of us. I must say it was a really nice drop of pie & mash, went down a treat. But the real stand out was the staff. They took pride in what they did & couldn’t have been more helpful Really lovely ladies. As Arnie might say I’LL BE BACK 😋

Having moved away from London's East End, being able to visit family is lovely but made even better when there is a traditional pie n mash shop open. The meal was as delicious as always, the restaurant immaculately clean and tidy and the food piping hot and plentiful. But what made the whole visit extra special was the lovely lady behind the counter, MICHELLE. The advice, suggestions and help she gave when I said I wanted to take meals home to freeze to enjoy in the future, was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, she helped so much from how to pack them, store them, re-heat them - everything I'd need to know. She was amazing and I am so grateful for the time and personal attention she gave. MICHELLE, you are a star!

What an experience - A six course Latin American taster in a refurbished 1967 Victoria tube train that was amazing. From the unique environment to the authentic food made by the Head chef, Beatriz, who explained her inspiration and heritage for each of the dishes. Each plate was beautifully presented without the pretentious nonsense, layers of flavours and textures, which left you wanting more. Service by our waiter, Chris, also added to the overall experience too, which just made it even more special. Food and drinks flowed with ease throughout the evening, as lasted about 2.5 hours. Easy to get to and parking nearby was free after 6.30pm, so safe walking to and from in the dark.

Very friendly staff, great food and the pub is very homely with its coal fire and stained glass windows. Would highly recommend!

Staff more concerned about chatting to their mates than actually serving customers. Unless you're a regular there I wouldn't bother.

I ordered fish and chips and a kebab portions were vast ,would have one fish and chips for two people . Curry sauce thick and gloopy, mushy peas ok. Had to construct kebab myself, pitta not cooked and dry foil container with meat salad in a plastic container and two tiny containers of chilli sauce and garlic sauce. They didn’t ask me what sauces I wanted or salad and just gave me it all in a bag even though I was standing there waiting for twenty minutes, so fish and chips good but vast , kebab dry and diy, I don’t live in London so was a bit surprised at £40 bill, I did order medium portions .
