Roberts and Speight in East Riding of Yorkshire

My colleagues and I regularly get lunch and it is always great (recommend chicken passion sandwich or the soup of the day). I often go in to buy a wine to accompany a meal or to ask advice on gifts and I always leave with a great bottle of something delicious that goes brilliantly with whatever I have prepared. Worth going the extra 5 mins out of town for if you are visiting Beverley!

Judith and I popped in on the way back from town for a sandwich and were pleasantly surprised. We consider ourselves Beverley’s sandwich experts and have had them from many different shops, and these rank among the best. We both ordered the Spanish passion and a bacon and cheese roll which was amazing and Judith ogled over the gin and wine selection whilst we waited. Will be coming back to try more of the selection.

Great selection of wines and home made pies (who could ask for more). Looks a bit strange from the outside (not clear what sort of shop it is) but just ignore that and go in - you won't be disappointed

Roberts and Speight is a local Beverley gem. It has an excellent selection of wines and a wonderful cheese selection. As a speciality delicatessen it caters for all manner of taste. I cannot recommend its cheese collection enough. Also if you just want to walk in off the street for a coffee then the incredibly friendly staff will serve you.
