We came into the shop to just have coffee but the lady who spoke to us was really pleasant and in the end we brought a pork Baggot with stuffing it was absolutely beautiful I can recommend it to anyone I would like to thank the lady who dealt with it thank you very much

Me and my mum have been coming to roasters for many years and today we had the pork roll with stuffing and homemade gravy and oh my goodness.......... It was amazing!!!!!! Everything was delicious ❤️ The staff were so friendly aswell and would highly recommend this wonderful family business

Absolutely disgusting. I purchased what I thought was a Tuna mayonnaise and cucumber baguette from a vending machine. After taking a bite(which was really not nice) I opened the baguette to find that it was actually tuna sweetcorn, wrinkled up cucumber, mayonnaise and what tasted like vinegar. It’s a good job I don’t have allergies that’s all I can say. Honestly the worst thing I’ve ever eaten

Nice, clean breakfast, went to the small cafe and would 100% return, could do with a hot drink in the price but will 100% go back, quality sausage and bacon, nicely cooked egg (could have done with 2) Will be back next week.

Seen the roasters van in Aldi car park loading up with food considering food is from Aldi Roasters over charge customers and the bottled water is from Costco is over priced at 100% and the customer service is very poor. shame it used to be good well before COVID

It was a pleasant surprise to be greeted and served by such friendly and genuine staff who went out of their way to make sure I had the best experience. The food was delicious and well presented, this was my second visit and will most certainly not be my last.

Ever since I was short changed at the Ventura branch and had to ask for myMoney without an apology I always avoid going in when the miserable looking thing that resembles jabba the hut is on I have to walk out and go to George street

Went for a hot-pork baguette on recommendation from a colleague and wasn't disappointed! Freshly carved and served in front of you and you get so much pork! Will definitely be going back for lunch again next time I'm in Tamworth.

Amazing place and the food is always good. They really do serve the best pork baguettes. Roasted lovely with stuffing and apple sauce on the top.

My husband loves coming to this cafe for the pork baguette which is packed with pork, stuffing and apple sauce which he loves. I always have the egg salad sandwich which always has a good amount of filling. In the winter it is not very warm in the cafe so it’s not a place to sit and chat but if you want good food at a good price then it’s the place to go.

Me and my family have been using Tamworth anchor side shopping centre for over 25 years mainly of a Saturday shoppingstreet market we use to bring our children when they were small there treat was a trip to roasters for launch then shop then into park ,my gripe with roaster is over the years we’ve noticed prices rising which ok cost do go up no problem but the size of the meals are getting smaller WHY we paying more which is like I say ok cost goes up but we feel roaster are winning both ways putting prices up and reducing the size of there food the salad bagguetts have got smaller ,soup and a roll use to be bowl of soup two buttered crusty cobs now you only get half of one but the price as neally doubled the price of cold drinks are not shown so you don’t know how much they are till ordered staff very laid back ,I think they look at strange if you sit inside order food but not have a drink,at one time roasters had the run of anchor side not much competition but now there’s many more choice better value at other eateries ,just fort I wud say how dissapointed it is to see a great place going down hill ,concentrating on money rather that customer satisfaction ,

Went for breakfast this morning with my husband, staff didn't even greet us, looked misserable and spent more time complaining about other members of staff while customers sat and listened. Breakfast was ok but the toast was burnt and the bacon looked like scrap's left in the container and the coffee tasted like some cheap smart price. Took staff awhile to cleanup dirty tables but guess gossiping was more important than cleanliness.

Great food love the pork and stuffing the staff was great nice place will eat again hear. Just right for a break from shopping 🛍

A few week ago I visited the Ventura branch with my daughter. The food was lovely but there was one member of staff who was very loud and annoying. She seemed to be over the top with customers. We thought she was maybe new and learning the ropes. The following week I went alone to the branch in the town centre. I often visit the branch when I am in Tamworth. as the staff are always friendly. I saw this person again and ordered my food and drink. Bearing in mind tamworth branch is quite small downstairs her voice was overpowering. I soon realised she was management as she was shouting over everyone to some members of her staff about their clocking in times and the procedure of the business. I looked around and a few people were horrified as she was shouting about the procedures to her staff . Surely this should be done in private not in public while people are ordering and eating their food . I thought this was very unprofessional . Her over the top greetings to every customer was loud and annoying. I went into Roasters that day for some lunch and drink but regretted going in . Her voice was getting more and more annoying that I had to say something which a few customers thanked me for. She was so unprofessional and I believe she needs trajning with the way she talks to her staff in such a public place and the way she greets customers. There was no discretion whatsoever. I called into the branch yesterday and thankfully she was not there. I rate Roasters itself as 5 but only 2 when this person was in attendance .

Called in for lunch today sandwiches here used to be quite good, but one slice of fatty ham on a baguette is not enough! I may as well ordered a salad baguette! My daughter asked for no butter and when she opened her they had scraped the butter off luckily she hasn’t got an allergy! Overpriced and poor service definitely wouldn’t use again.

The ladies at Roasters were so warm and friendly! I had a roast pork sandwich with apple sauce and stuffing, and a side of roast potatoes. It was wonderful! The best pork I’ve ever had, as I said to the lady that served me. It’s clear that they all work very hard. Lovely visit.

Quick friendly service with good food and plenty of choice. Can get busy but plenty of seats with an upstairs option. Never disappointed.

As visitors to the area we called in for a brew before moving on, managed to secure a table outside to take advantage of the glorious weather, but there was a queue indoors which wasn’t pleasant as it was too hot, drinks were made swiftly & were hot & tasty but had to ask for the table to be cleared as previous diners dishes were still cluttering it, they obliged immediately.

This cafe is exceptional for food and quality I had the mega breakfast which was really nicely cooked my partner had the Cajun chicken salad which was also well presented staff were very helpful and friendly will frequent this establishment again.

Had pork roll when it came it was half a baguette.seved very hot and fresh as joint had just been cooked.plenty of pork stuffig and apple sauce.pot of tea enough for two cups.very clean establishment.friendly staff.plenty of choice on menu.shame its not a little larger premises.

Used roasters for some years, called in with hubby for breakfast, ordered 2 bacon sandwiches and 2 Mugs of tea, lady brought a tray with 2 mugs and One small pot of tea, got 1 mug and half a mug, went to the counter to complain and lady took the tea pot back and returned with the same tea bag just topped up with hot water, not happy, service not as good as it used to be will be taking my custom elsewhere

We popped in for a quiet brew and soup, enjoyed quick friendly service and all at a good price. Will definitely return.

I go to Roasters in town and on Ventura Park. Never had cause to complain. Always a friendly welcome and their bacon sarnies are the best. We often have breakfasts and lunches all up to the high standard. Love it x

I am slowly working my way through Tamworth establishments to find the best breakfast and think I found one of the worst here.

Would advise anyone thinking of hiring this business for their catering for any of their precious family events to think again. Hired them for wedding, planned & agreed all food requirements with them, were very friendly & helpful at the time of booking, only without letting us know they decided to change our 'agreed' arrangements, only to be left with guests left hungry due to nothing suitable for them to eat. Went in cafe & asked them what went wrong, was told manageress would phone next day, no phone call..a week later went back in cafe & was basically told that is what they do..!! Very bad, couldn't care less attitude..Ruined wedding day & all they offered was a percentage off next buffet..!! Unbelievable..and yes it has taken nearly 12mnths to post this as it was that upsetting. They pride themselves on being a 'family' business, shame they dont think of other families.

this is a brill cafe if you are out early and you want a breakfast as they are open at 8am. OO the smell of a cooked breakfast sets you up for the day.

During the busy festive period I was required to work in the busy Tamworth Town Centre and the Ventura Park Retail Park. Roasters made the whole experience more bearable to the point of actually looking forward to going to work just to go to Roasters!I did spend more time at the Ventura restaurant and to be honest I preferred that one as there was arguably more space. Service and quality wise the two sites are level par. Hot pork baguette with stuffing, apple sauce and crackling was the bomb! Add a gravy boat for dipping and a plate of roast potatoes and you won't want to eat anywhere else. Truly amazing!

After a busy morning shopping at Ventura Park with the kids - spending their Xmas money, we decided to visit Roasters for some lunch. From the moment we walked in the service was fantastic. It was. Wet busy but a table came free whilst we were queuing and immediately cleaned ready for us.I believe the manageress (Sam I think) was taking the orders and orchestrating things with her diligent team and we were served in no time. The food offering was fantastic for our varied age range and we all were excited about our lunch when ordering - mine being the classic 'All Day Breakfast'!All of the roasters team were polite, helpful and smiling (a novelty in some places these days), with the manageress expertly taking our order with a check back and upgrade advice. The drinks were poured as we paid and ready to take to our table. No sooner had we sat down, the food arrived piping hot and presented beautifully by again a helpful, happy member of the Roasters team.The food was demolished by all, even by my 5 year old whom normally would hardly touch her meal when we eat out. As we left we thanked the closest team member and received a warm, genuine welcome back.All in all, I would highly recommend Roasters to all, great value and fantastic service!

Myself and my Husband enjoyed another delicious cooked breakfast recently at the ventura cafe. You can order as much or as little as you like. The food is fresh. The counter staff take orders with politeness and courtesy. The cafe was clean , as we always find on our visits, and tables are cleared in good time. Background music provides a lovely atmosphere. What more could you want for the prices charged. We will be going again soon.

This is a cafe serving the usual fair but doing it well at a good price.The pork roast roll is a specialty! There is also a sister shop at Ventura Park shopping area.

Recommend the hot pork baguettes, with a piece of crunchy pork on the side and crackling,lovely.Had a serving of nice gravy as well.Staff very helpful and polite.

We occasionally order from here at work and i dont think we will bother any more. Compared to other local places it is on the expensive side and the quality is no better to justify the price difference

We were looking for somewhere to have a 'brunch type' snack and didn't want a Maccies or fast food.We spotted Roaster and thought we would give it a go.It is very popular and we understood why!There is an extensive menu for quite a small place and everything is prepared fresh. You can have takeaway or sit in and it has a nice feel about it, a bit old fashioned/traditional.The premises are immaculate and the food is really well presented.This is not a restaurant, it's a lovely cafe. Great food great value.Enjoyed our visit.

had a pork roll with friends and we went for soft roll as the crusty rolls were too tough and found loads of chewy pork and apple and stuffing was cold and it went into a soggy mess. we attempted to alert the nice young lady and she said they are all the same?/ so we just left as everybody stared at us like we were lying .but will pop in next week and try again

Always make a beeline for a fresh ham salad french stick made to order. Friendly staff always greet you with a smile. It can get a bit busy and not much room inside. but the staff and food make up for it!!

Roasters offer good food. Pleasant staff, clean restaurant and my favorite Pork sandwiches with crunchy crackling. I have been to both restaurants now (Ventura) and they are an ideal restaurant to visit. They cater for all types and have many meals to choose from their menu boards.

We found the service to be great, the staff were very friendly and chatty. We ordered the roast pork baguettes for lunch. The portion sizes were good, service was fast and the coffee was also tasty! All very reasonably priced. We will be back!

Visited Roasters, in George Street, for the first time yesterday. Although it was a little crampt our meals were lovely, they have a few tables outside, lovely for the summer, and they have some tables up stairs, the toilets are up another flight of stairs, so not suitable for wheelchair users, if you need the loo.(they may have another toilet for the disabled so it would be worth asking on arrival) staff are pleasant, give it a go.

We visit here quite a lot and never had a bad experience. Food is fresh and quick and service is friendly. Varied menu so will be visiting again be it town centre for Ventura.

My partner and I visited here whilst in town and dropped in for lunch. Had to sit outside as tables inside were all dirty... went inside to make my order and was stood at the counter for about 5 minutes waiting to order while the staff member behind the counter finished off her conversation with the other staff member who was sat at the table next to the counter... to the point I was about to leave and not bother. Ordered two pork rolls with stuffing and apple, order was taken on chopping board which i did find a little off putting. I found the staff attitude to come across as quite rude and abrupt. Food arrived pretty quickly and couldnt fault the food at all however was sat outside surrounded with smokers and pigeons due to inside being covered with dirty plates etc. Due to this the hygiene of the place didnt look great and the customer service was poor.

Dropped in while shopping staff were rubbish took my order on a chopping board and then used it to make a sandwich !!!!!!!!! After 20 minuites or so no food arrived had to go and reorder full of apology but will not returne any time soon!!!!

My hot roast pork sandwich with stuffing and apple sauce was tasty, and my wife's corned beef sandwich was 'very filling'.This, with two mugs of refreshing hot tea, was just what we wanted.Excellent service; all food made to order. Perfect.

Whenever we are shopping in Ventura we always pop in to Roasters for a bite to eat. Friendly staff, food freshly made up. The only thing I would say is the cleaners could do with checking they clean everywhere properly as there were dead flies on the window ledges and cobwebs hanging from the blinds which isn't nice to eat around.

Whist visiting the ventura park recently I had a chance to have a bite to eat at Roasters. It is a nice clean restaurant very popular. The speciality is Roast pork baguette it is very very tasty. I would recommend you try a Roast Pork baguette at Roasters.

Went for breakfast , poor , sausage had bits of hard fragments in it , eggs rock hard . Standard has certainly slipped since we last visited .Not good value for money either

Myself and my partner visited roasters for breakfast today. My partner ordered a small breakfast and I opted for the omelette meal deal which is £4.50 for a drink, omelette, toast and beans or tomatoes. After telling the sever that I did not want beans or tomatoes, I was asked if I wanted toast to which I said yes.After around a 20 minute wait (quite long for breakfast I would say as most of the stuff there is pre cooked and the place was empty). My partners food arrived and I was given just an omelette on a plate. I had to go downstairs to ask for the toast to which I was rudely told I had only been charged for an omelette and I would have to pay 60p for toast. A rather rude young lady then said. It's cheaper that way any way! Which it wasn't.The food was ok but you don't expect to get robbed at breakfast and be treated rudely by idiot staff. To be honest there are cheaper alternatives in the town so I would avoid roasters if you are breakfasting

Had a quick sandwich here on our way to the train station, I had the sausage sandwich and my husband had the small breakfast,they were both just okay. My husband asked for brown sauce, when he opened the lid all murky water ran out where they had cleaned the top of the bottle, very off putting, and to top it off two of the three staff were griping about someone the whole time we were in the restaurant so not a good experience overall.

roasters serve home cooked food to a very good standard and generous portions. can recommend for a young family meal

On the recommendation of my wife, who had already eaten there with her ex work colleagues, whilst shopping, she said she would take me there for a quick snack. Well, what a "shock" surprise. She said to me, "have a Pork roll with apple sauce & stuffing". When it arrived, it was more like a main course meal, the size of it. Enormous, real VFM.

I noticed that roasters in ventura were offering afternoon tea at £3.99 so decided to try it. Fresh assortment of sandwiches, a sidesalad, pot of tea or cup of coffee and a scone, jam and clotted cream. It was very good value for money.

Good place to chill out in between shopping to refresh the parts, food good fresh and hot not the biggest place but you can usually get a seat, nice and handy to the town center and by the church grounds, bus station, taxi rank plus. Well worth a visit.

Although this cafe offers a wide choice of hot and cold food and breakfast they are famous for the Pork Roll. Freshly cooked Pork on Crusty or so from baguette generous amount of meat with a lovely taste. Very good value at £3.69. Well done Angie, John and team. Keep up the good work. They also have another cafe on ventura retail park just outside town centre.

Not too often these days can you find a place that you feel immediately at home in, but Roasters is worth a trip into Tamworth on it's own. Such friendly people, good service, nothing was too much trouble. Food and beverages all first class - highly recommended.

This place is simply amazing. Discovered whilst on business for 3 months in Tamworth 4 years ago. Had my lunch there every day without fail. Ever since I will detour off the M6 just to pick one up. Food tastes fantastic, great value for so much and the staff are so friendly. In a way I hope they don't get to commercial though as I think that would ruin it like has with a lot of small places going far and wide.

Me and my partner and sometimes his parents come here for breakfast in the morning. The food is lovely and well cooked. The mushrooms however are evidently out if a tin, I understand the business having to provide quick and effective service but they're very dry and have no taste. However with that out of the way, the staff are lovely and I will continue enjoying my breakfast here in future :-)

As I walked in it was quite busy but staff was friendly and helpful. Had to wait 5 minutes to be served. I had a roll and it was hard/stale. Other than that food was good. My friend liked there's.

Having eaten at Roasters (Ventura) a few times I can safely say the food is delicious, really great value and the staff are friendly.Shame about the decor and cleanliness of the place though, food all over the floor, chairs dirty and tables not cleared up the whole time we were most recently there.

Thursday lunch with my mum, we shared a pork baguette, which was priced at £3 something. There was plenty for 2. And my mum really enjoyed her cappuccino. Great food and drinks and very good value!

Regular customer to Ventura roasters . Perfect place to eat, very welcoming staff and the food is delicious. It is quick service and a lovely atmosphere to eat.

A gorgeous hot pork bap, dripping with gravy and stuffing... how can that not tempt you?Either way, the beauty of this restaurant is how brilliantly simple it is. No pretentious rubbish, just really, really tasty food at an excellent price. There's something for everyone - sandwiches, meat, you name it. On top of that, you have the friendly staff who are lovely too. It's always a great treat coming here - just proves that smaller family run places are the way forward. Keep it up!

I was thrilled to see that Roasters has started opening later (until 8pm). Had a lovely meal with my friend tonight, we were given a really warm welcome and well looked after and the homestyle food was out of this world and real value for money.Its nice to have somewhere like this in Tamworth other than fast food joints to enjoy a meal in a nice, laid back and relaxed atmosphere.I frequent Roasters for their breakfasts (out of this world) and I will most definitely be back for another evening meal soon. Its a shame Trip Advisor omlymlets you vote 5 stars...deserves more, brilliant stuff!

Dropped by for a breakfast roll, whilst the place was packed being a great sign, unclean tables meant sitting outside - food brought quickly and very tasty, really good and great value, would recommend as a quick bite or for breakfast, particularly good if you have kids as loads running everywhere so nice environment for families

After a visit to Snowdome and swimming with the kids, we popped in for a few sandwiches and drinks. Pork stuffing and apple sandwich was recommended. It was nice with a little crackling on the side.Cheese toastie with extra filling was bland, a little salt and pepper did the trick. Little seasoning neededWould have been nice to try the waffle lollipops but they were out of mix.....?Overall, a very clean restaurant, lovely atmosphere and cashier was very professional. Will go back for a light afternoon chat

Can't find a bad word to say about this restaurant at Ventura park, clean friendly, the food is freshly cooked, amazing value for money, don't think I've ever left wishing id eaten somewhere else! Even better now they open evenings & there gammon, chips peas & coleslaw is the best I've ever had. Good on you roasters keep up the good work. Better value, better food and good service. Instead of usual cardboard box filled with cardboard food, When your out shopping in Ventura Park try Roasters real tasty food and will not cost you an arm and a leg. We go now on most visits to Ventura.

myself and my two grown grandchildren went there for lunch today. we went to the ventura park one in Tamworth.we ordered two baked potatoes plus lovely roast pork and salad .the plate was overflowing with food the pork and crackling was first class plus aside dish with apple sauce ant stuffing all for under £7 each.the manageress Samatha made every customer feel very welcome.she is areal asset to the place but there again all the staff are attentive. a very enjoyable lunch.will most certainly visit again.

Unfortunately Tamworth, like lots of other small towns, is littered with Kfc's, McDonald's & the usual chain fast food joints or sandwich shops selling boring sandwich's.Roaster's is the exception & is well worth making the effort to visit. Their Roast Pork baguettes with stuffing & cracklings are awesome!!

We ate here today as a family of four with young children after reading good reviews on trip advisor!! What a fab little traditional place to eat :-)!! Good food, served quickly by friendly people!!! Would definately recommend and will definately make a return visit!!

Roasters on Ventura park is what I would class as an upmarket cafe with a good selection of food to choose from.I met a colleague for breakfast Friday 9th August as the parking is good.We were both surprised how empty it was as normally its packed in the morning but we realised that it was school holidays so people come out later.My friend had whats classed as the small breakfast and that filled him up and was to his liking, I had a baguette with melted cheese quorn sausage and mushrooms this was served piping hot and its substantial size made it a meal in its self.We both left well sated and will return again.

Been here several times. Service has always been quick, Staff are always friendly and helpful. Roasters is always busy when i have been there, though you could always find a seat. Have had several things from the menu over my visits and have never found anything wrong with the food, its yummy every time no matter what I have had.

Roasters is perfectly located in the town centre where the staff are very friendly and helpful.We went for breakfast and they catered for everyone, from the big eaters to the dainty!It's a long way to the loo though..up very steep stairs, though I'm sure they would cater for those in need of ground floor facilities.

I love a roast pork sandwich, with stuffing, apple sauce & don't forget the crackling. This is the place in Tamworth for a great quality, tasty lunch. In a bit of a food desert, this is probably the best quality food option for lunch.
