Lovely old country pub with welcoming friendly staff. Typical pub menu, but desserts only at the weekends. Usually a couple of guest beers available..

The spot is great for a tasty Pizza and great, warm customer care. The lady who welcomed us was fluent in English and well turned out.

I don't use cafe's very often. The staff member was very kindly and helpful. I only had a drink and a bar or something so can't comment on the food. I didn't go for the atmosphere but would say it was neutral. I had a quiet brew and nibble without drama. The floors and tables appeared clean. Thanks to the lovely staff member. 😊

Our first visit. We had been on a fiver mile walk, starting and ending at the pub. We did manage to work up an appetite for their Sunday lunch, we certainly couldn't manage a started and sweet. I shouldn't have opted for the cauliflower cheese as an extra as this meant I couldn't finish my other vegs.
