RM Italiano in Gravesham

We visited R & M Italiano for the first time tonight. Thoroughly enjoyed it ! Food, atmosphere..everything..would recommend and will definitely be going back.

In one word: Amazing! From the delicious delicacies cooked at the right timing offering a mixture of flavours, crispy, creamy, juicy and inviting fragrances to a great service, friendly delivered with passion and enthusiasm. A combination which creates a fantastic atmosphere for a night out with family and friends. Every single dish is cooked fresh, there are no frozen ingredients, which makes the tiny little venue to distinguish itself like an oasis in the desert.

Delicious Lithuanian food- cepelinai . Will come back again.

We celebrated my daughter's birthday here, and we loved the atmosphere. The waiter's service was spectacular, and we even got a free bottle of wine as a treat for booking a table. The food was exceptional and we'd love to say a big thank you to the chef's for the excellent meals.

It was really great food, just right for a day out ahead. Nice atmosphere, and helpful staff. I would say it could do with some more art or decor reflecting the mother land Italy 🇮🇹 But, if that's my only issue, then it really isn't bad.

Nice little spot and very nice atmosphere, could have had the food we wanted, but besides that the food was good and the drinks are spot on, Zalgiris 75% really hit the spot 😂 if you have a cold it will sort you out right away.

We took our children last night for a birthday pizza treat! It was our 8 year olds birthday yesterday and he really wanted to go out for pizza! A thousand thank yous to the wonderful Lithuanian waiter/host who went above and beyond to make our son feel special. Our whole dining experience was perfect - a lovely restaurant, delicious food, exceptional service, great atmosphere. We will be back. Thank you

Had a Groupon deal so for what we got for the price, was really fair. Personally me and my wife would've liked salt and pepper shakers on the table as we felt it was under seasoned, but by no means bad food. I appreciate the chef swapping a cheese I dislike out of a dish for another for me.

Mid-week meal for four. Seafood tagliatelle, lasagne, schnitzel, pasta with blue cheese - all outstanding. Absolutely freshly cooked, very generous portions and well presented. Faultless. Highly recommended

Sat next table to drunk woman who argued with waiter and wanted her money back totally ruined evening

A group of four of us visited this small but charming restaurant a gem It was very busy Sunday lunchtime a large party of around 30 was in there We had a choice of dinning in or out ,there were a few tables out back ,but dinned In as it was hot outside, we were welcome with a warm and friendly smile and the atmosphere was busy but still relaxing and welcoming,the service was excellent and the food delicious, we had pasta dishes and freshly cooked pizzas the pizza base and pizza bread was probably the best I have had out , with a good choice of toppings, lovely food good company in a lovely little restaurant what more could you want, will be going again,and suggest you give it a try ,Well done and Thank you See you soon

We always enjoy our time at what we believe feels like a small, traditional, family-run Italian restaurant on a side street of a bustling Italian city. The delicious and authentic food with the simple decor adds to the cosy environment. If you are looking for great food and an environment where the volume is created from conversation and not loud music, then this is the place. You don't need to travel further afield when you can dine this well in Gravesend.

The food is delicious with ample portions. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. As we were the only two customers the atmosphere was a bit quiet. Please do consider supporting this pretty venue.

Great pizza, cosy atmosphere, really friendly staff

Waitress not very attentive. Sat for 15 mins before drinks were offered. When choosing wine later, she walked back to bar as if fed up waiting for us to choose and we had to call the order across to her. Tinned carrots served with main, chewy, unpleasant calamari, no mozzarella on garlic bread as stated on menu, sloppy pizza, three tiny strips of beef in the beef pasta, warm wine...the list goes on. Amazed that others praise highly. Maybe we were just unlucky with day, time etc, but wouldn't return, which is a shame.

Best restaurant in Gravesend if not in Kent if you're looking for a foodie treat rather than fluf and fashion. Massively recommend

Absolutely shocking service over the phone stating it takes 1.5 hour to cook a small pizza but was so rude when questioned. Will never order or use this restaurant ever again would leave 0 stars if I could as they do not even deserve 1 star

This was my first visit to RMI, it was a lovely, calm and tasty experience. I travelled from London to meet with my fab in-laws, for lunch and a catch-up. Thé lovely food, service and ambiance offered at RMI made worth thé trip extra special.

Там еда на высшем уровне и цены ниже 🫣Я не знаю как так можно испортить продукты. Холодный суп не на кефире, а в сливках. Первый раз в жизни такое чудо вижу! Как можно испортить полезный, легкий, летний суп жирными сливками (кефира будто и в помине не было). Жареный, черный хлеб с чесночной пастой!!😁и только на одном сухаре она. 🫣 (у вас там не такая беда с клиентами, что бы не выдавить пару зубчиков натурального чеснока) шницель, ох уж этот шницель. Обожаем Литовские рестораны, но такого шницеля нам еще нигде не подавали. Мужу принесли салат овощной с креветками. Креветки сверху, с головами, посыпаны сыром 😀 он их очищал в этот же салат. Мы не скандальные, да нас и не спрашивали, ерунда😁я бы лучше там выговорилась😁 😀 не пишу обычно какие-то отзывы, но сейчас я голодная и злая😁уж простите😵‍💫В итоге мы решили побыстрее заплатить и уйти. Заказ ждали ооочень долго, было ощущение что человек прям очень занят. Не отвлекайте. Не очень приятное ощущение. Но был вежлив, если подходил. За это спасибо. И вам, ребят, на заметку, если у вас много клиентов в выходные дни, старайтесь планировать. На крайний случай, возьмите дополнительного работника или работайте только в одном направлении. В Литовской кухне у вас полный провал.

Absolutely a little gem of a place. A real little find you shouldn't miss the pizzeria. Had the four cheeses and vegetable. Been around the country over the last 40 years and every now and then you find some very nice places. Open til late in Easter Sunday.

Gave me apple juice when I asked for cranberry juice instead of letting me know there wasn’t any. When I asked for a different juice he looked disgruntled and annoyed. The food was bland and the service was poor. The chocolate cake was insanely dry and the atmosphere was terrible. Very cramped and uncomfortable. Would definitely not recommend

This is a hidden gem! Visited again tonight with the family over from France and they all thoroughly enjoyed the amazing food and warm hospitality. I’ve tried the other Italians in Gravesend and this place is definitely the best. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you in the new year

Had numerous meals here, the food is always a great standard and the service is very attentive. Try the fried bread and seafood linguine - amazing.

We had a Groupon voucher for 4 people to have pizza/pasta and wine. We visited with our 2 children and knew beforehand that we couldn't exchange the wine for soft drinks. We sat down and the waiter said straightaway, you can't have soft drink instead of wine, choose any pasta or pizza. Very short and not the happiest! He then scanned our groupon. After scanning he went on to say that only 2 meals and wines could be credited even though we had paid for 4. we explained that we were happy to purchase 2 soft drinks at £3.50 each and that we would all be ordering dessert at probably another £20 plus. Apparently it was over 18 only?? Except he had let us sit down and scanned the Groupon! and our 2 under 5s were very obviously under 18. All very odd. We decided to leave amicably as we would be 2 glasses of wine short and would have to order 2 extra kids meals in place of the 2 adults ones we had paid for, confused yet?!... He told us to email groupon for a refund. Groupon said they needed an email from the restaurant to say we didn't eat. Well that was like pulling teeth, 4 weeks on 20 plus emails to the restaurant and nothing, they are ignoring us. I know their email works as I got my sister to email an enquiry about a booking. So not great, but reading the recent reviews of food poisoning maybe we got lucky after all :)

We came upon this little Italian restaurant whilst staying over for a wedding. We both had a great meal ,home cooked and served piping hot. Our server " Vim" was pleasant and on the ball . Overall highly recommended

I ordered for the first time today, paid £30 for a pizza and some meatball pasta. Pasta was overcooked, meatballs were though, chewy.. tasted like they were old and the sauce tasted like it is premade bought sauce. Pizza was overfloured and dough tasted like it was cooked from frozen.

This is the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant qnd I've eaten in better restaurants than this dump the so called manager was so rude qnd disrespectful not just to me but to another table in there me and my friend walked out x dirty grotty place

Avoid at all costs. No idea if they lost a chef or what happened but we got a food Poison. From the start I could feel there’s smtgh wrong with my soup. I’m pregnant and that’s so low to serve spoiled food. Me and my husband been sick whole night and early morning. 🤢 somebody should check this place out and the food is low quality. Shame as it used to be my favourite restaurant.

Very nice place and very good food. It is very Italian food and I confirm very good, both in relation to pizzas and the other dishes. We had once seafood pizza and mushrooms pizza. The other time linguine with prawns and grilled sea bass. Very good portions and very good food. We have been served by V., who is very kind. In summary, a very good Italian Restaurant 😊

Wouldn't recommend. Food taste awful. Pizza cold and loads of flour.. Oveflavoured can't taste any ingredient. Also wouldn't recommend to buy groupon voucher. As it's complicated.

On the off chance in Gravesend we googled to see which Italian restaurants were query visiting, and having read the reviews we decided this was the place. First impressions were ok, nice and quaint and a few guests being seated. We were greeted and shown our table promptly, drinks served and food ordered very straightforward. However what we was served was absolutely shocking. Spaghetti bolognese just tasted off salt, no other flavours just salt. It was like they forgot all the other ingredients and simply poured salt all over. Think I had two mouthfuls and spat it out. Pizza dough was so tough it felt like you was going to lose a few teeth. Meatballs pasta was probably the best dish going but again far to much salt. All our dinners were left after a few mouthfuls, I asked to pay for the bill when the waiter cane to clear up, he looked at how much food was left but never bothered to find out why! As soon as we left we went to buy fish and chips as we were all very hungry. I am not sure why my experience is far from the reviews I am reading, however it was definitely a bad experience and I will not be visiting again

Do NOT use groupon. Please look at other reviews also. The staff are extremely rude and refuse to honor to groupon voucher as paid for!! I don’t see why you would put yourself as a restaurant on groupon if you are going to be rude to everyone that buys one! Groupon do not allow refunds unless there are cancellations - I will continue to complain to groupon about this restaurant as it should not be allowed to advertise on there.

Great restaurant amazing home cooked food so much choice and personal service

Food was nice No soda water or lime no latte, coffee with cold milk only. Could live with that , most off putting thing was waiter making it more than obvious that he wanted us to leave by 10pm, website states closes at 11pm Four girls on an eve out. Proceeded to give us our bill which we hadn't yet asked for! and then stood over us whilst we were checking it. Not the level of customer service expected and we wont be returning unfortunately.

This place was amazing. What a gem! Insane portions, clearly all freshly cooked and really traditional tasy and uncomplicated dishes.

Phoned and booked but also popped in advance as it was a birthday celebration. Vee was most accommodating and food was fabulous. Mum really enjoyed herself. Thank you RM Italiano for a lovely evening.

Food quality is poor, DO NOT go here!! I had food poising after eating here!!! The seafood linguine was disgusting and the garlic pizza bread was undercooked. Staff make you feel very unwelcome and come across quite rude, it was NOT worth the money.

Slightly hit and miss - some dishes (Pizza + calamari) are delicious but on a whole its not a Italian restaurant. Lithuanian trying to be Italian. My salmon carpaccio was lovely, although my spaghetti wasn't fresh and covered in cheese (should be optional) and strong taste of pepper with chopped up carrot in it. The server was polite and welcoming. Just missing a few tricks, eg not using paper table covers for example. In a couple of the other review pictures, it looks like frozen vegetables have been used. Not a fan. Well may come again to try the Lithuanian food.

I've been here twice, the third time we didn't make it to the table due to the abject rudeness of the proprietor. He seems to resent Groupon customers, although they are probably the mainstay of his customer base. Go there for a Pizza with Attutude and you won't be disappointed.

This place is a hidden gem, I’m so glad we found it. It feels so warm and inviting, it’s lovely for a special meal but it’s also inexpensive enough to just grab a bite. We go with our small child. We’ve never had anything there that wasn’t divine but I particularly love the duck, service is also fantastic. Picture of the Apple pie, which is more an Apple sponge but still delicious!

Pizza dough is very crispy and tasty. Pasta is also great.

Great food, welcoming staff and fantastic value

Beautiful food delivered to home. I had the salmon and my husband had the duck. Food was hot and fresh and arrived half hour earlier than estimate. Generous portion size, lovely dressing on the salad, all items well cooked. Have yet to have a bad meal from here. Highly recommend.

The sause on my pasta had to much herbs and cheese already on top unfortunately for me I don't like cheese and probably should have sent it back but we were the only customers and we had a Groupon. On the other had my partners food was lovely. So mixed bag.
