Riverside McDonald in Northampton

My daughter and her friend (aged 10 & 11) prank called your store and I understand this is unacceptable but I did not know this was happening until after it happened. Your staff member rang the children back, making very rude comments. I can imagine your calls are recorded so feel free to check this. I believe this staff member was called Mike (which is probably a fake name) as I rang back to discuss this with him. But as described to the children his name was ‘Mike cock’ which is absolutely disgusting. The children were asked ‘Do you prefer an open curtain or a lamb shank’ again not acceptable. These children sound their age and again, are 10 and 11. He also asked the children ‘if they wanted their medium coke up their mums vagina?’. I would like to take this higher, as I am utterly disgusted with you staff members!

Twice in a row now we’ve gone through the drive through and not received our full order, won’t be bothering with this store again

Called in this evening at 8.10pm and ordered 9 nuggets and Fries to take away. It wasn't busy but I didn't get out until 8.30 and, foolishly, assumed that was because my food was cooked fresh. Absolutely not. I got to my car, opened the bag and while the nuggets were warmish, the fries (even by McDonalds' standards) were cold. The problem was, I'd seen the server empty three trays into the fry station so what to do - go back and get more cold fries? I wonder if the manager plans this - someone coming in at 8.10 is going to be so hungry they'll eat any old rubbish. Well, not me - I know one person doesn't make a blind bit of difference to McD, but I won't be eating at Riverside again. Terribly slow service, appallingly bad food.

The burger looked like someone had assembled it with a blind fold on - cold fries -just because it’s fast food it doesn’t need to be sloppy

Went for breakfast and had the worst pancakes i’ve tasted, cold and so tough, half my pancakes were solid. Awful breakfast, becoming very expensive now…

Asked at drive-thru for extra napkins. Condescending server refused and said only one per meal. Cold fries and dry chicken legend. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to - service and food were terrible.

Vile poison against my better judgment too kids yesterday and I’m still on the toilet now writing this. Disgusting food disgusting service just vile

Unable to organise a queuing system. Patronising staff. Given food then sent to third window to wait for coffee.....as the food goes cold........

The chips were not hot.and the chicken nuggets were tasteless.. and the chicken mayo burger was like a wet weekend ..limp no lettuce and absolutely horrible have they changed their recipe..because use to like these .shall not be eating there again

Very slow drive through service, wrong order presented to me, glad I looked in the bag. When my order was brought to the window it was clear it had sat waiting for ages as it was cold and sauces were missing. All in all I will pass next time..

Popped to McDonalds today with the grandchildren, first of I forgot my mask. A lovely lady that was working in McDonalds said dont worry and went and got me one. Which was great as I would of had to go back to the car to get one. Then I waited for a table took a while childr6getting fed up, so decided to order to go. Did this then a table became available, so the same lady offered to get my food and bring it to our table! She also noticed I had only 2 drinks I had forgot to order myself one so she kindly went and got me one! A lovely experience in Macdonald's today all due to this lovely lady unfortunately I didn't get her name thank you so much for all your help. Even my grandchildren said how kind you were.xx

I use this restaurant as it’s close to me, but you do need to check your order as they regularly’forget’ to put something in. My latest visit was for a large order, and because of the long queue I didn’t check it. Surprise surprise when I got home there was a Big Mac and 2 fries short. I did ring on this occasion to let them know, and they took my details and stated that someone would ring back. They didn’t.

Ordered 3 meals and an extra burger and once I received the food I asked for 2 BBQ sauces which he asked for an extra 20p, I thought this was strange as McDonalds have never asked me for this before but I didn’t hesitate and passed my card. The young server then told me to go round the drive thru and order them?... what a joke. To make things worse all the food was cold, and burgers looked like they had been run over and the patties and salad were half out of the bun. I think my 2 year old could have done a better job. Definitely will not be returning

Ordered the big tasty with bacon, got given a normal big tasty, no bacon. Food was stone cold so obviously been sitting there for ages too. Never had a food order correct from this store!

Bad drive thru. Bad customer service at payment window. Was ignored for ten minutes while he fooled around with his colleagues

Went to McDonald's with one of my kids, went through the drive thru, placed my order, paid and got told to wait in the car park. After 15 minutes decided to go in, thinking maybe the staff couldn't locate our car. I get to the counter and they had not made our order, they had no clue what I was talking about!

Ordered £20 worth of food n drive thru, all food minus the mozzarella sticks and chicken selects were cold. Told us to park in waiting bay, food will be recooked and done in five minutes. 15 minutes later...still no staff have turnt up with our order. My parter had to go in store to chase your order. We understand that it can be busy as having worked in fast food previously but customer service needs to improve.

I have noticed standards seem to have gone downhill at all Macdonalds recently, its as if they don't care about customer service anymore, and no change here either.The drive through took around 15 minutes, and it wasn't even that busy. From joining the queue, it was 5 full minutes before we moved one car length to the order machine! Ordering was quick and easy, again a long wait to get to the money booth and after giving the correct change, the girl had to check it 3 times, we only ordered 2 fires and a milkshake so not a huge amount of money to count! The order finally arrived, milkshake was ok but fries not overly warm.Perhaps Macdonalds should start having mystery shoppers so they can learn how to improve the service as they all seem to have gone downhill!

Just bought 4 meals to take away. Driven home only 3 fries and one of those was only just half full. Gherkins missing off the Big Mc. The self order machine not printing orders. No one answering the phone and main UK contact US not working.

McDonald’s. One of the greatest fast food restaurants to exist yet the staff aren’t trained to handle a busy Saturday lunchtime. We ordered 2 simple meals and both were wrong. We paid for a taste of the world and received a chicken mayo. I’m not impressed at all. And honestly your staff should be prepared for these busy hours. It would also be nice if we were greeted with a friendly person instead of a miserable girl who did not care about our order. Obviously I’ll be returning because McDonald’s is just too god damn good.

I asked for a sausage and egg bagel meal stating meal 3 times and the guy taking the order didn’t get the fact that I wasn’t ordering the bagel on its own. I then had to ask specifically for a coffee and ended up getting charged more having the items separately as well as not having the hash brown. McDonalds were not interested in trying to put the order right.

Great service provided by the staff here. Better than normal and extra care given to my family’s needs. Definitely my first choice McDonald’s in the area.

The old one has an hankering for happy meal from time to time. Popped her down to this newly refubished one. Easy, order, take table number, food brought to you. What's not to like.

Popped in here with a colleague, clean and orderly with good staff. Had wrap of the day, good value and put together well, no problem. My colleague specifically asked for a wrap with no cheese, he gets back to the car, and guess what!?! CHEESE!!

My little boy had a birthday party and we took the boys for tea afterwards to this Mcdonald's, i phoned ahead to check it was suitable to bring them and bring our own cake in, and also to find out what we could do for vegan children in regards a happy meal. The manager (Josh) was extremely helpful and reassuring. We arrived and everything went smoothly, and all the food was well prepared and all got eaten up not a 'mummy left over' to be had. Josh and all the staff we encountered were very polite and helpful, Thanks you to you all for helping make my son's birthday a fab one ( :

Popped in in the small hours whilst working nights to sample the new Grand Big Mac. Waited a while and was told to take my seat and when the meal arrived the bun was ice cold and the beef patties Luke warm. When I returned it to the counter the member of staff took it and went to walk out back with it so I reminded her, the duty manager, that the burger needed to be prepared fresh again which she was clearly not happy about. Anyway, cold burger was binned and fresh delivered but bun stone cold again so will be giving this McD's a wide berth in the future.

It does what they all do, dish up cheap food, that people will happily que for....... this branch has a drive through, which at the weekends can get very busy, with it being on a retail park.....

Nice, well-cooked food. Busy around lunch and dinner times. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean tables and chairs.

It said on my bacon 🥓 roll, freshly made to your order, either the bacon wasn't cooked enough or it was left to go cold, Lukewarm bacon roll is not my favourite thing to eat.

The food was nice, but the staff let the team down, not overly helpful when they got the order 3 times.. but when they did it was yummy!

Less grotty than other fast food outlets in the area. You know what you are getting with the food and the service is generally good - though they forgot Jam on the bagel this morning.

Visitamos mañana de 28 de marzo de 0815. 7 personal, incluyendo dos gerentes detrás del mostrador para servir. Nos dejaron esperando mientras se acabó su conversación. Parecía ser formación / compensación va más que todo enfoque sobre "" comida rápida. Además, no hay chocolate caliente. Ninguna sugerencia de una alternativa.

Our last couple of visits to this resteraunt have been during the winter months, the meal are completely standard McDonald's meals and the decor exactly the same as any other but we were cold in side, we asked for the manager to warm the place up and a nice staff member went of to try and sort it out but the heat did not rise and the meal soon cooled down along with our body temperatures.

only went here through the drive-through and only eating the breakfast wrap less than 5 mins later, it was luke warm and not enjoyable. The coffee was good and hot

This macdonalds store in Riverside is always busy but the staff are friendly and very quick. Never had any problem.

known to some as the The Golden M but in reality this particular outlet for the chain constantly has problems .. The most common being that the milkshake machine is not working ,no apple pies , we have run out of strawberry syrup - All of which are clearly management issues . Then there is the food, I use the term food lightly , which has clearly been held warm for far too long and reflects no resemblance to the products displayed on the fancy sign boards .Whilst the often school leaver age staff are polite and friendly, direction from a senior member of staff is clearly required . Upon information from head office the store is now under a new franchise and a new manager is on route ...For the time being i will continue to use the Favel branch which more often than not meets the requirements of such a chain

Just what you would expect from mcdonalds. Very clean and modern restaurant. Food standard for mcdonalds.

Drive through quick, good service with a smile :) food was freshly cooked, chips crispy and hot, burger very nice
