We stopped off for lunch food was excellent I had one of nicest soups I’ve ever tasted everyone else in party food looked soo good

Booked a table for food and to watch the football. The team placed us in a great spot to watch the match and looked after us all night. Great food and the team on the bar were outstanding. Highly recommend this great restaurant and bar.

We are regular customers at the Riverside in Callander. We visited again last night and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, presented to a very high standard. There is plenty of choice from the menu. Two of us enjoyed two starter plates and my Daughter opted for the pasta linguine from the specials. It was delicious! The staff are always very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It is very welcoming and decorated to a very high standard. It is clean and cosy with a great atmosphere. It is dog friendly also which is a bonus for us!

Went for a quick meal and we got just that. Served super fast. Everyone seemed like they wanted to be looking busy. Bit of a buzz about the place. A nearby table was getting a lot of attention. Maybe a local celebrity? Food good, service good. Nice setting. Décor could be fresher in places.

1st visit here today and will definitely come back. We had a lovely lunch with the staff being very friendly and helpful. We had 2 dogs with us who were welcomed and provided with a bowl of water. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. It's also ideally placed for a walk along the river.

We had a lovely meal here, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The chicken burger was delicious.... the chicken and haggis meal great too. I would definitely recommend.

The first place we stopped after dropping off cases and it’s a great wee find. Right on the water and staff really polite and friendly. The atmosphere was great and we met a couple from strathblane . Great wee meeting place to make new friends .. totally recommend.

Lovely dinner, welcoming staff. Nice atmosphere. First-time parents on our first family trip, nervously attempting dinner with the little one and was a good choice. Visited here as a change from our usual place in Callander. The staff were friendly and polite, however, it is vastly over priced for the food it does. Don’t get me wrong, it tasted decent enough for what it is, pub grub, but in no way reflects the price they are charging compared to a similar local pub that is just as good for a fraction of the price. I wouldn’t go back, solely based on the price for what you get.

Called in here after walking along the river from Strathyre. The staff were so friendly and professional and immediately brought some water for our dog and gave her a fuss. We sat outside looking over to the river. Had the chicken BLT and it was spot on. Rest of the food looked great and we called in again for a drink another evening and it was very popular with diners. Had my own gluten free menu - love that. Toasted sandwich with Brie, bacon and chutney with salad and coleslaw just hit the spot. Great service too.

We stumbled across the riverside inn when searching for nearby dog friendly pubs. We called to make a reservation and the staff had placed a doggy bowl of water at our table - lovely touch! Two of us had the steak pie, the other the chicken burger. I have to say it was the nicest steak pie that I have had in a very long time! It really was delicious! The vegetables were lovely, and I had potatoes with mine. My sons chicken burger was lovely and tender, he said it was very well cooked and tasty (high praise from a teenager!) The staff were great - it was truly a lovely lovely visit!

Just back after a really disappointing evening meal. Onion rings soggy, fish was tiny, wife chips arrived with salt already on them. Complained to waitress and guy behind bar. Sorry you found your meal like that. Not a mention of taking anything off the bill....

Food was absolutely delicious and staff were lovely, too. We had between us the Steak Burger, Fish & Chips, Southern Fried Chicken Burger, & Chickpea & Spinach Falafel. It was worth every penny. We will defo be back. A+++++

My wife and I attended a retiral event recently and were impressed with the newly re furbished Riverside Inn, which seemed pretty busy with regulars as well. The canapés that were served for our function were also very nice as well.

Not the slightest bit of basic good manners. Definitely won't be back and Definitely don't recommend this place. There are better places near by. In my opinion

We called in for an evening meal, and had an excellent veggie burger served in flatbread, plus great chips. Sticky toffee pudding with ice-cream and butterscotch sauce to follow, all well presented and served with a smile.
