Excellent fish and chips great value for money was very impressed friendly staff it was so good I visited twice during my stay in the area will definitely visit again

Staying in a self-catering cottage in Barrow, we just had to sample a fish and chip supper from the local chippy. Opted for haddock -nice but well over £7.00 each, excluding chips! One small portion of chips ordered, which was equivalent to two large portions - do local people in Barrow have enormous appetites?! Won't be going there again in a hurry.

83 Brook StreetWhat a little gem of a pub/restaurant. On a back road on the edge of Wymeswold. The bar and dining g area inside isn't very big but go up some stairs and there is a whole other outside area, some partly enclosed. They have a full team of chefs and the food is reasonably priced and beautifully prepared, presented and really tasty. Can thoroughly recommend. 👍

Wards EndA passable Wetherspoons pub that served a purpose that morning to give us a spot to rest up and have a coffee. Totally unmemorable and unremarkable, a Wetherspoons pub that feels like it has had it's time and they've had enough. Really didn't enjoy either of the 'Spoons in Loughborough at all which is a shame. When run properly, Wetherspoons has a place in a town, sadly not in Loughborough apparently.

38 South Street, Barrow upon SoarI know I work for a sister pub, this is a non bias review. The food was amazing, service exceptional! So lucky to have this restaurant/bar in our village. Ty everyone for a lovely night x
