River Gardens Café in Greenwich

Normalmente me gusta mucho este lugar, pero tuve que escribir esta crítica sobre el matcha latte muy pobre que me dieron hoy. Básicamente no hay matcha en él, como muestra la imagen. Parece que pagué 4 libras. 70 para leche de avena.

Un hallazgo fabuloso. Disfrutamos de un maravilloso brunch tranquilo en la terraza exterior. Excelente ubicación y vistas preciosas. La comida era excelente y el servicio perfecto. Sin duda volveremos.

Un lugar muy pintoresco en un gran día soleado para el almuerzo en este restaurante. El personal era muy amable y profesional. Fuimos allí como un trío el domingo pasado, pero los 2 tuvimos que esperar a nuestra amiga y su perro, sin embargo, tengo que decir que el personal nunca nos apuró o nos hizo sentir que teníamos un tiempo limitado a pesar de que el restaurante estaba lleno! Finalmente, nuestra amiga con su perro llegó y nos atendieron. La comida era deliciosa. Nos atendieron Andreas, Martina, Alberto y Aiden y todos eran fabulosos, amables y profesionales. Kudos a todos ellos. Cuando estuvimos allí, observamos a un padre de perro y su perro pasaban por allí y el perro se negó a moverse hasta que el padre del perro lo llevó dentro. (fue hilarante ver) Dijo que su perro siempre hace eso y le encanta el helado de perro que se sirve allí! Sin duda volveré allí de nuevo cuando tome mis pequeños walkies pooch o para el almuerzo / almuerzo tardío con mis amigos.

Love our local friendly cafe for amazing quality breakfast with a great choice, the best views of the Thames, incredible zingy carrot & orange juice and the ever lovely Alberto who gives great service and quality Italian home-cooking tips!!!

Popped in for a breakfast after a night shift and was rather disappointed. The waiter was really nice but food was disappointing...ordered egg Florentine and the eggs were hard in the middle, felt like premade and warmed up in a microwave. Sauce was tasteless and so was the spinach...expected more for &10.95😞

Fabulous late lunch find beside the river. Very friendly service, great menu with big portions. Recommend the fish & chips- curry sauce is divine 😋 The French rosé wine is very easy drinking too!

Slightly away from the tourist hustle I found this most delightful family run business. Super views, excellent menu, fabulous decor and incredible service! What more could you want? We were a large table of 8 and everyone spoke highly about the food and the great vibe here. The tables are not too close together which is also a huge plus. Highly recommended.

The cafe was open as usual, in spite of the construction work. The staff are friendly. The decor is ecclectic and charming. The food selection is appetizing. The mocha was superb. I had to send my Garden Royale breakfast back because the sauce, and the eggs were cold. Cold cold, not lukewarm. The first explanation given was that it was due to the avocado and smoked salmon... I have had a similar dish in lots of places, and I therefore know that it is not supposed to be served cold, unless you let the dish sit for like 10 minutes after preparing. The second try was better. However, while the beetroot-infused hollandaise is unusual, it does not beat a proper hollandaise. I love the fact that the place is dog-friendly, and there are a few dog chairs available. Very cute.

I have always enjoyed the River Gardens Café. Today was extra special with a really friendly welcome and fantastic service. BTW do not order the Breakfast in Bread unless you are super hungry, it is like 2 meals on its own

The staff were super friendly and accommodating with a baby and pram in tow! We were seated quickly and our order was taken shortly afterwards. The food was served quickly, it was hot and full of flavour. 😋 I would recommend their scrumptious buttermilk pancakes which are light, fluffy and an absolute delight! 🤤 it will definitely keep you coming back for more. We left with a hot drink to take a scenic walk along the river Thames.

We booked ahead for lunch for 4 plus 1 dog on the day, but there were still a few unbooked tables available for walk-ins. The welcome we received was genuine and consistent throughout a busy lunch time. Staff were calm, helpful, very efficient, very pleasant, and confident and welcoming toward dogs. The location is right beside a bend in the river with only the broad walkway between the cafe and the river, and the views are excellent. The food was all cooked to order and fresh poached eggs were cooked perfectly and were warm, very tasty, very easy on the eye, and the hot and cold drinks were delicious. The service was seamless and quick, and so pleasant - the waitress looked you in the eye. The atmosphere and hubbub of conversation, with only two dog barks, were never overpowering, and included two parties of 10 people which never dominated. Go for a walk along the River Thames, visit the Cutty Sark or take a walk in Greenwich Park and you will receive a warm welcome and freshly cooked food at this Cafe. Thank you.

Lovely place by the riverfront. Fantastic service by Lara. Food is very good and they welcome dogs which is an added bonus. We will be back!

Nice place on the waterfront. Very accommodating and hospitable. All members of staff that we interacted with were very friendly. Great choice of food and tasted good too. Will definitely be returning.

The staff were freindly and efficient. The decor was lovely. The prices acceptable. There was a decent choice of food. I thought I had found a spot I would return to over and over again but the food, not great, just very average. I doubt I will revisit. Shame.

Extremely friendly staff, their restaurant is very modern and stylish, amazing atmosphere. The restaurant itself has really fresh food. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the menu is beautiful for all dietary needs. The location of the restaurant is fantastic with views of Greenwich and the o2. This restaurant is a family run business and the staff are lovely, welcoming and very helpful with any needs required.

This restaurant is amazing. The view is stunning it’s right on top of the river I come here all the time with my sisters and my walking group. We come here all the time the breakfast is amazing lunch and dinner. The food is so fresh and the ingredients are so lovely. Lovely setting and staff couldn’t be nicer. Visited here after staying near by. The food was excellent, pancakes were light as a feather, and after speaking to the owner, this is a very refined recipe. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area again. It’s a little hidden gem.

Love this place, had a wonderful Sunday lunch al fresco with my daughter, the chicken skewers were amazing, I recommend them highly! The service was also amazing, our waitress Mia really looked after us.

Having never visited before I chose this delightful cafe for afternoon tea with 6 friends. What a wonderful find! The selection of sandwiches and cakes was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was also impeccable.

My new fave at RGC is the stunning afternoon tea. Omg those scones! Beautiful light, tasty sandwiches a gorgeous selection of cakes and a yummy pot of tea. Perfect
