River Beal Indian Takeaway in Rochdale

**River Beal Indian Restaurant Review** I recently ordered from River Beal Indian Restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I ordered the Mixed Kebab, expecting a flavorful dish, but what arrived was far from appetizing. The kebabs were incredibly dry—honestly, they reminded me of Gandhi's flip flop in texture. The lack of seasoning left the dish bland, and the accompanying sauces did little to save it. Overall, the meal was a letdown, and I found myself wishing for a better experience. I won't be returning anytime soon. If you're looking for good Indian food, I recommend exploring other options.

This is a fantastic takeaway food is excellent quickly delivered great prices nothing too much trouble best food and service cant praise these boys enough wont go anywhere else now curries are fab the lamb tikka and red donner kebabs are so tasty

Ordered online. Money came out of my bank but order didn't go through. Guy couldn't have care less when I called to try and sort it

This place is epic for a hot Naga kebab (flaming bad boy box)😋😋. I like to get a madras sauce and dip the kebab in the sauce ?kids and Hubby as bad boy box as he can't handle the heat. Never had a bad meal from here. There always polite on the phone and food is delivered quickly. Thanks river beal

Our first takeaway from here tonite 2x mixed kebabs very prompt on time food hot extremely tasty far better than most other takeaways reasonable price I be going back for sure loved the food so hard to get nice kebabs from anywhere in boro we be back thankyou very much shelly

Won't get my food from anywhere else, food is always delicious and staff are friendly and accommodating.

Order delivered incomplete ( not the first time) Whilst the food is good it isn’t worth the effort to find out the order is incomplete,then they are adding on a delivery charge that their physical menu states free delivery upto 3miles

Diabolical Food and Service. Doesn't accept Card Payments. Quality gone way downhill compared to what it used to be. Portion sizes have shrank. I wouldn't have fed this the Neighbours Dog!!

Best Indian takeaway. Beautiful, food, great prices great service. Will be using them again. Needed to eat after returning in the evening from a long trip and explored what was available local for takeout. So pleased to find River Beal.

We have just eaten the BEST Indian food in a long time. It was absolutely delicious and there was none left. We also rang the takeaway to tell them. We will deffo be ringing again. Brilliant food. Thank you 💝

Great Indian takeaway. The curry's are full of flavour and the delivery time is good. Highly recommend. One improvement pint is the samosas were soggy and very Greasy, but apart from that can't fault it.

Went inside to order looked at menu and ordered 2 bad boy kebabs... the guys charged us different on everything we got to what was on menu ..claiming price has changed once we queried it.. yet charged another customer the stated price..greedy move..at no point did they say price is changed when we was looking to order and ontop of that the cheese was cold and the cold drinks was actually warm...what's the point of selling drinks if you ain't Going to turn on the fridge...you get better services and value in Xotica bad boy kebabs ..not worth the trip

We have been ordering each week for the last few years and I have to honestly say that the quality and taste and service is amazing . The food is restaurant quality but at takeaway prices. The Asian salad is a must as a fresh accompaniment to your meal .

We've had the curry box three times and every time it's been lovely. The Balti is amazing, one of the nicest I've had. The lamb is always tender in the curries, the kebabs are lovely. Literally cannot fault the place. The owner is a really nice guy too. Would definitely recommend.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Half the order was missing waited over a hour for the food to be delivered to be told it would be a further half an hour wait for the stuff that was forgot. Food was cold and the chicken was chewy. I would not recommend this place at all.

Don't bother truly dreadful! Waited nearly an hour over delivery time! Food crap! Never again! Forgot my popadams ! £4.50 for three bony chops and the worst Biryani I've ever tasted! Three bits of chicken, four bits of dried Lamb and a whole boiled egg dumped in the middle!

Again the food was excellent,however for the third time we didn’t get what we ordered. From the person who takes the telephone order ( and repeats the order to ensure that everything is correct) to the person who makes up the package something seems to go astray. We have had a missing main course ( delivered fifteen minutes later after telephoneing, missing salad twice,to tonight’s delivery missing medium sauce for dinner, and no salad again, this time i couldn’t get through immediately so sent a message,no response.

Genuinely terrible food, the meal we had which was a mixture of curry and a kebab, the food was unpleasant to say the least, please don’t t waste your money, would not recommend

Had our first ‘lockdown’ takeaway tonight 3 different starters 3 mains, rice, various breads. Delicious & great delivery service with a doorbell ring & left on doorstep. Definitely will be ordering again - recommended

Even in this time of lockdown we have managed to get a brilliant take away ( delivered to our door on time). Can’t fault the service from ordering to the delivery,dropped outside the front door at the chosen time. Mouth watering starter of onion Bhakti,followed by chicken tikka yum yum, balti murghi makhani, pilau rice and a cheese naan. Plenty enough for two persons. Can’t wait until the next time,never fails to be probably the best Indian for miles.

Not the best experience- opened the bag to sauce everywhere as every pot was open along with the fact all the food tasted the same... all tasted of grease and syrup. Big waste of £40

The food an service is great one of the better takeaways in the area!

Sadly we have revisited this place three times in the past couple of weeks,. Every time we eat the meals whilst comparing the food with other takeaway meals from what we thought was good food,but now we know the difference. Currently trying some of the specials,lovely! Only concern is the waistline!.

What a pleasant surprise to find an Indian restaurant that also gives good service and honest times for delivery.This was our first meal from here. We have been looking for other takeaways as we have stopped using two other restaurants due to the service,having waited for two hours for meals promised in 45 minutes. We will definitely be back to try some of the interesting items on the menu.

Perhaps not the most stunning kerb appeal you will see for an Indian restaurant, but they make up for it in the kitchen. They take on board modest changes that I have asked for and consistantly made the best Pathia dishes I have had the pleasure to eat? Of course I haven't eaten the whole menu, but I would if I thought I was going to have another life. Fabulous take away food....highly recommended.

Food poor I would say very poor will not be going back ,have been a number of times paid 5 quid for a kebab the meat was dry and hard the nan was powdery ,your currys all taste the same look the same, phoned the order in and still had to wait 15 mins same old story poor food waste of money ,you could say come get a free one but when I ordered you gave me poor food not what I want ,I want food I can eat at the end of a hard day and not be disappointed or have to complain to get better service once maybe but several times, ask yourself would you keep paying for poor food that's only fit for the bin ? And I'm not fussy I asked my wife what she thought and she agreed bad food so is that enough of a reason to say my experience.

The River Beal take away is fabulous. Shomon the owner is a lovely man. The food is the best i have had in a long time!

Very nice donner kebab and chips for a late night takeaway. Service great, chilli sauce my favourite. Prices pretty similar to other local takeaway restaurants.

Fantastic choice of great tasting food, friendly staff.

Do not go here! 3 friends went lastnight for some food all ordering different things off the menu.. I had a mix kebab it was served in foil and dumped on the table with no plate when I had opened it up the nan was the only thing that looked fresh the lamb wasn’t cooked the chicken was raw after biting into it to find this out and the seekh kebab was frozen and the donner meat was hard nothing was fresh! all of it was undercooked. When i approached the staff they assured me it was all fresh and I didn’t know what I was going on about I have pictures to prove it they refused to refund me my money and said all are customers never complain which I find hard to believe after We all had got food poisoning from here!!!
