Absolutely gorgeous and remarkably clean. You could eat your meal in the bathrooms this place was so clean! I have to say how beautifully decorated it is that you honestly feel like you’re back in Italy and hearing all of the Italian being spoken by the staff is such a beautiful touch. I had a wonderful conversation about my time in Italy with one of the waiters who was so kind and patient with me. Now for the food, in true Italian tradition, the portions were huge and such amazing quality. The flavours were all perfect and the food so fresh. This place is perfect for a special occasion, I will definitely be back.

Booked a table for Saturday night and it was extremely busy when we arrived. We were seated immediately and given menus. The drinks order was taken fairly quickly & we set about choosing. There were some lovely dishes on the menu. Despite it being busy the service was impeccable and our food came in good time. Everything about this restaurant is amazing and we had a lovely night. I can highly recommend the Sea Bream it was delicious and cooked perfectly

I visited with my husband last night. Greeting at reception was good but we weren’t told that there was a cloakroom so we tried to hang our coats on the chairs. My husband’s pizza was nice. I had the sausage gnocchi, the sauce was very thick and gloopy. We weren’t offered any Parmesan cheese. No one asked whether our food was okay. The staff seemed to have very little interaction with their customers. The last time I ate here was a few years ago and I had a much better experience then. All in all the best thing about our visit was the pleasant decor! Unfortunately we won’t be returning.

Lunchtime meet up with retired work colleagues to celebrate a landmark birthday of one of the group. Service was faultless. Food delivered in timely manner. Everything was delicious. Genuine Italian food experience. Wine was lovely. We had a really good overall experience.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante per la prima volta a cena e ne siamo rimasti talmente soddisfatti da esserci ritornati il giorno successivo a pranzo. Assolutamente consigliato soprattutto ai turisti italiani che vogliono ritrovare le pietanze e i prodotti della nostra terra. Personale gentilissimo, professionale ed efficiente. Menzione d’onore a Michele, che ci ha seguiti nel migliore dei modi in entrambe le occasioni, con indicazioni, consigli e simpatia. Da rivedere soltanto la cottura della pasta che potrebbe non essere apprezzata da molti italiani. Ottima la bruschetta classica (dovrebbe solo essere leggermente più bruschettata); Squisite le polpette di melanzane; apprezzabili le opzioni vegane (non da tutti!); larga e di gran qualità la selezione dei desserts.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service and experience my party and I had during our recent visit to your restaurant Riva Blu on 28/12/24. We were seated at a collapsible table, which, during our meal, collapsed on one side. This caused drinks to spill all over two members of our party, leaving them drenched in wine. We were forced to hold the table up ourselves while waiting for assistance. When staff approached, one of the waitresses asked, "What have you been doing, girls?" as if the situation was somehow our fault. It was clear that the table had not been set up properly, leading to the collapse. As a result of the spill, my dress and coat were covered in wine, and my pasta and garlic bread were also ruined. I immediately requested a replacement meal, including new pasta, garlic bread, and a glass of wine, as the original meal was inedible. I also asked for the tablecloth to be changed, as it was dripping wine, but the waitress responded by saying, "No, we can just cover it," which was clearly ineffective. Thankfully, I was able to move to a spare seat on the table. The replacement pasta arrived promptly, but the garlic bread and wine were not provided. When I inquired about the missing wine, the waitress dismissively stated, "Well, it wasn't me who spilled your wine." I politely explained that it was not her fault, but that the table had collapsed, causing the wine to spill and ruin my meal. She then said she would speak to the manager. Eventually, a new glass of wine was brought to me, but the overall attitude and service were disappointing. To make matters worse, we overheard staff talking about us throughout the remainder of our meal, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. When we raised our concerns with the manager, they did apologise and removed the wine and one cocktail from the bill. However, we were surprised and frustrated to find that the pasta was not removed from the bill for the meal that was ruined due to the collapsed table. We were charged not only for the original pasta but also for the replacement pasta, which was a direct result of the faulty table. After further discussion with management, the charge for the extra pasta was refunded, but the experience left us feeling appalled by the lack of customer care. Given the high prices of your restaurant, we expected a far higher level of service and attention to detail. This experience fell far short of the standards one would anticipate at an establishment of this caliber, and we are deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism and empathy demonstrated by the staff. Overall, the service we received was unacceptable, and our meal was completely ruined by the combination of a faulty table, poor staff attitude, and inadequate handling of the situation. I will not be returning to your restraunt again and will not be recommending it to family or friends based on this experience. I trust that you will take this complaint seriously and ensure that such an incident does not happen again.

We booked this for my daughter’s birthday. The decor was modern, the food was delicious and we were served quickly by a friendly team . We can’t wait to return

Blown away by this restaurant. The venue, decor and atmosphere were exceptional. The quality of food and beverages outstanding. Looking forward to our next visit.

Visité Riva Blu por primera vez y me decepcionó mi experiencia de un restaurante tan altamente calificado. Estábamos sentados en el bar justo antes de las 6 pm y después de haber estado con el menú y la carta de bebidas durante al menos 15 minutos, solicité que alguien tomara mi pedido, a lo que me dijeron que estarían enseguida. Pasaron otros 7 minutos antes de que volviera a preguntar. No me dieron una disculpa de cortesía por el retraso solo un grosero "bueno estoy aquí para tomar su orden ahora" cuando le expliqué que había estado esperando al menos 20 minutos para pedir una bebida. Finalmente tuvimos nuestro pedido y pedido de comida tomado justo antes de las 18. 30 . Las bebidas llegaron relativamente rápido, un peroni y un martini pornstar sin alcohol, sin embargo, el trago de vino espumoso sin alcohol sabía a sprite o limonada. A menudo viajo y como en Italia. Los cuatro platos de pasta que pedimos eran tan buenos como he experimentado en Italia. El personal era atento y aunque el desierto tardó un poco en llegar, estoy feliz de no ser apresurado. Lugar especial.

Nos llevaron a este restaurante para un almuerzo de negocios y esta fue una segunda visita. Esta vez fue menos bueno que nuestra primera visita. La decoración es preciosa y todo el lugar tiene un ambiente agradable. El personal era amable, pero la comida lo decepcionó en esta ocasión. Pedimos entrantes y cuatro de cada cinco de nosotros recibimos comida y me quedé sin nada para comer, el camarero vio esto y me trajo un plato en el supuesto de que estaba compartiendo el pan de ajo que otra persona había pedido. Señalé que había ordenado a Bruschetta y se fue a averiguar dónde estaba. Cuando llegó el pan se amontonó con tomates y se empapó en aceite por lo que estaba realmente empapado. Probablemente el plato más simple de hacer, pero no estaba muy bien preparado. Creo que había estado sentado en el paso demasiado tiempo. Visitamos los baños y de los tres cubículos solo uno tenía una cerradura de trabajo. Pequeños detalles como estos deben ser atendidos y para un restaurante que cobra los mejores precios deben lidiar con estos problemas de mantenimiento. Nuestros platos principales llegaron y estaban bien, tenía risotto de mariscos que básicamente tenía cuatro gambas y una langoustine en la parte superior y un poco de samphire. Basándome en esta experiencia no me apresuraría a regresar.

La primera vez aquí y nos sentamos en una cabina encantadora. Hermoso restaurante y la comida era increíble (especialmente el entrante Arancini! ). El servicio fue fabuloso. Sin duda volveré!

Comida y servicio música fina pero irritantemente alta (que parecía estar desalentando a los comensales en lugar de crear cualquier ambiente, fiesta o de otro tipo). Le faltaba gusto, interés o sofisticación. Lo sentimos, pero la política musical tiene que cambiar!

I was at this restaurant last week to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We were really astonished by the dinner, the service, and the atmosphere. We were served a lot of delicious dishes, especially the seafood. La uo The staff were very friendly and cheerful. We had a great time and would like to go back another day. I really recommend it.

It was supposed to be a birthday occasion but the surprise dessert had nuts in it and I had already clarified I was nut free twice that night! Definitely ruined my experience!

Place was recommended for eating in, was a nice interior, but we won't be going back. We ordered our food, and due to traffic, getting there we was in a bit of a hurry, and was late by 10mins to our table time. They only had one person taking orders, and had to wait a while to get our order taken. We saw our food on the serving area, and ask a waitress about our food and was rudely told, it was not her fault we was late, but the food had been sitting there for 5 mins !! And then one person's order had not been cooked, and waited 5mins for that to come out, and we requested the starters to come with mains, and we had to ask for them. Maybe the chefs should have spent less time looking at their mobile phones, and checked the orders. That's a problem when you have an open kitchen in front of the customers, customers can see everything. We had said it was our daughter's graduation day, and very nice, we thought from them, with our asking they brought out a glass of prosecco for her. We had to rush off, and left our friends to sort the bill out. When we met them later, the restaurant had, had the cherk to charge us for the prosecco, that we had not ordered. And for that reason, and rudeness of a waitress, I am rating it as I have. NOTE TO ALL, check your bill, for any "supposed complementary items" Shame as food was good.

We came here for my niece's graduation day celebration, the food was very good as was the ambience and decor of the restaurant, the staff were helpful. The pizzas deserve a mention, there's not a huge range but what was on offer was very good pizza, so I recommend them. What was annoying was the £9 charge for the glass of "graduation" Prosecco which was brought out unsolicited, so we'd reasonably expected it was gratis as we hadn't ordered it. I hadn't noticed it when checking the bill after everyone else had left but if I had I would've requested it be taken off as in opinion it was snuck on to the bill. A 10% service charge was added because of our group size. Overall a nice meal and happy occasion spoiled by craftiness with the apparently-but-not free glass of Prosecco.

Francesco was amazing very welcoming! Food was so tasty and there were lots of choice. Best pizza I’ve ever had!! We will be returning :)

Great service, and even better food! Sharing starter platter was plentiful with a good selection of cheese, bread and hams, and portion sizes of mains are perfect.

Booked for birthday meal and loved it! The decor is stunning Staff all super friendly including Franceso Cocktails were amazing For main I had pasta with clams which tasted really good- recommend this dish for seafood lovers Dessert I had the choux bun again recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth to try Toilets located downstairs but super clean Overall loved the meal and enjoyed the atmosphere

Discriminated because I was smoking a cigar outside the front where it is a designated smoking area - was told too extinguish my cigar as people where eating - in my opinion you should not be able to tell people what they can or can’t smoke . Like saying you can’t have a cherry vape only a strawberry flavoured one Absolutely disgraceful service and disrespect The gentleman in the photos should be highly ashamed -
