Amazing service and food! Anna and Sandro served us and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed! Food was good and very filling but there is one thing that we would like to see … please, please, please put a vegetarian lasagne on the menu. The meat lasagne looked amazing but we wish there was a vegetarian version.

We arrived at our hotel late after west midland safari park and needed a family friendly place at 8:30pm on Broad Street. . We were a bit worried as our autistic 9 year old was uncomfortable with the busy atmosphere of broad street and wanted to get Deliveroo. After asking reception for a recommendation they suggested Piccolinos but it didn't feel right for us. I called Del Villagio and they happily fitted us in. I was anxious as it didn't look busy but I can honestly say they and the meal were amazing. Food great- I had cannelloni and honestly nicest I've had. Our 11 and 9 year old loved their food and service was great especially with the kids. Vjara and Dona I think. We have done a lot of travels in Europe and Italy and my kids both said it felt like we were on holiday as it gave them the same vibe. Nicest Italian we have had in uk and we all wouldn't hesitate to return. I would also say that what was really nice is that if you want something you need to get attention but this is quite European and nice that you aren't rushed through like in chain restaurants. Once requested everything was fresh and prompt.

Came here on the evening of 17 April for my father’s 77th Birthday meal and we had a wonderful time! My partner and I have been here a few times previously and so we knew my brother and parents would be happy - they were not disappointed. The food was beautiful, with a varied menu to suit all tastes. My father is a little fussy, but he had no trouble finding many dishes to choose from. The vibe in the restaurant is nice and laid back, with a big shout out having to go to the staff! Everyone is so welcoming, friendly and they can’t do enough. We were very well looked after by the lovely Anna, Homa and Soroush - thank you so much for making my father’s birthday and our evening so special. Highly recommend and, of course, we will be back 🙂👌

I was coming only for a drink and few sides, wasn’t feeling for main food! So I tried the antipasti options, I ordered 3 dishes, omg soooo amazing! Who really catches me was the MOZZARELLA ALLA GRIGLIA! Try it won’t regret, 100% the best Italian antipasti ever tried!! Thanks for the amazing stuff and services Anna & Homa 5 stars services! I took my boys the first time and ever since is their favourite place to go , they like pizza and they said this places pizza is the best pizza they've ever had , the atmosphere is wonderful, family friendly. We had Anna , Hama and Saroush they were all amazing, friendly and welcoming. They are really accommodating. I highly recommend this place.

My friends and I had an absolutely delightful dinner here last night. The authentic Italian pasta was the star of the show—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. But what truly made our experience exceptional was Sandro. His warm hospitality and passion for Italian culture shone through as he expertly guided us through their selection of regional red wines. He also surprised us with complimentary limoncello after the meal. Every detail, from the attentive service to the cozy ambiance, felt thoughtfully curated. looking forward to try pizzas next time. Highly recommend!

Food was excellent, huge portions, very fresh and tasty! Service was a little slow initially taking our order (but our food came out super quick). The calzone was huge and delicious… this stole the show! Overall a very enjoyable visit and would go again.

This is the second time we have been and once again it did not disappoint. We are a family to 5 with some fussy eaters. All our requests were accommodated with no problems. The child’s menu is great, came with colouring and portions are very generous. We even took some home. The adults menu is extensive and the food is reasonably priced, portions large and delicious! My cocktail choice wasn’t on the menu but they provided it anyway. My daughters have asked me to say the toilets were very clean with a nice big mirror 😃 Alex and the team provide an amazing service. We will be back when we are back in Birmingham!

The cocktails are amazing! All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Most importantly, the food is 20 out of 10. We had the mushroom dish as the starter and it came with a main dish portion, with beautiful seasoning! Overall extremely satisfied! Nice vibe and great service. My favourite local. Excellent and attentive service. Outstanding food quality. Gluten free menu available upon request. Very good amount of seating meaning reservation not usually needed (so rare these days!). Great for groups, especially the upstairs for group bookings for a special occasion for the right price. Ordered two glorious dishes from the lunchtime menu. Two for £18.99 is a really good deal. The lobster and prawn ravioli was delicious and the salmon pasta was beautiful and filling. All the food was divine. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!

Probably the best meal I have ever had. every time I’ve been to this restaurant, is better than last time This was better than any food I have eaten In Italy. I had scallops from heaven as a starter followed by an absolutely PERFECT steak and chips, Italian style. By the end of these two courses I was full. Alex took excellent care of us and served a few beautiful dessert after the meal. One of the team I work with booked Del Villaggio after reading a couple of reviews. I wasn’t expecting much but how wrong was I. From arrival to leaving the team from front of house were excellent and couldn’t have done more for us. However, the food was an equal par if not superior to the service. Every single dish was served beautifully presented, plentiful and packed with flavour.. I had the squid to start and a pizza both very reasonably priced…. My Grandad would have told me my eyes were bigger than my belly (something I’ve been trying to rectify for 50 years) but I managed, somehow, to eat most of it just boxing up the last couple of slices to have for lunch today! If you are in the Broad street area of Birmingham this place must feature in your shortlist for dinner.. Fabulous and thanks..

Service is always excellent, staff are friendly and professional and great with kids. Food was great, loads of offers for meals but also great value for ordering anything off the standard menu, with really great portion sizes for your money. Atmosphere is warm and inviting.

The food portions are substantial and the service is generally good. My reason for not scoring higher is because the calamari was a little over cooked and the lasagne could have done with a little more garlic. The garlic bread was really good though. The restaurant was a little on the cool side too and the door kept blowing open which didn't help and made us want to hurry to leave. The toilets were spotless as was the rest of the restaurant.

Recently began visiting Del Villagio after many years and it is still fantastic. The food is fresh, good value and delicious. Wide selection of Italian food including pizza, pasta and bakes. The beef lasagne is a long-time favourite and I love the spinach and ricotta cannelloni. Lots of options for kids, vegetarians and the meat is halal too. Highly recommend.
