Gusto in Birmingham

Food was excellent, we ordered the risotto and chicken with gnocchi and romesco sauce! bianca was great! Really friendly, super knowledgeable! Definitely will be back!

Had a lovely experience at Gusto Italian. Stand out thing for the evening was Bianca. She was a great host, she remembered my mother’s birthday and brought out a surprise birthday cake. She was great with all of us. We had amazing rapport about Portu, Lisboa and Faro.

Lovely meal out with 50% off for January. Always feels like a luxurious experience and they are very good with kids. My son loves the make your own pizza from the children's menu!

Arrived at 8.55 pm in Englands second city at Gustos . Open till 10 but refused to serve us food . Useless

I had went for a meal yesterday with my family and the service was amazing. I had been served by Charlotte who was lovely she made sure she gave us recommendations off the menu and delivered a top tier service which made the experience even better, really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere within. Would definitely visit again

I eat here quite a lot with my partner and always ask to be served by charlotte. She is a lovely, welcoming waitress and always makes our experience 10/10!

We booked an early dinner ahead of the Strictly Come Dancing tour. Venue and service was good, but sadly some of the main meals were lukewarm and my meal was cold in the centre. A replacement meal was provided and a discount offered….just slightly disappointed.

For the price, I was expecting something better than what we were served. The carbonara wasn’t good. I only ate one bite, and couldn’t eat anymore. The service was good, though, and the place was relaxing. Sadly, the food we ordered wasn’t good.

We visit yearly during our strictly weekend and normally wonderful food and atmosphere. This time a silly table so small you could actually fit plates and glasses. Food inedible and no recognition of poor quality that was glaringly obviously as soon as you put good on table. Extremely disappointed and will be finding another restaurant next year.

Agnes was absolutely amazing, she had so many tables and was keeping on top of it whilst being friendly!

The restaurant is very noisy with echoing..The food is very average. My veal escalope came with just roast potatoes and no sauce. According to the description is should have been warm potatoes salad, wilted spinach and white wine jus. The meat was dry.

Me and my daughter had the pleasure of once again enjoying first class food on Sunday, were do I start first of all we were greeted by a kind and welcoming waitress. The place is absolutely stunning interior is amazing and the place is warm and welcoming, we started of with a delicious non alcoholic mojito then we went straight into main course. I had a roast pork dinner and my daughter had pasta and Caesar salad the food is amazing, the pork was so tender and juicy. Everything was cooked to perfection and good portion size, the food is still has fabulous has it was in 2019 when we first ate there. I can't wait to get back there soon

Usually like this chain, part of our meal arrived wrong so took time to correct. Staff were attentive but with christmas crowds a few mistakes but was expected. One waitress was particularly kind to our daughter which was lovely.

Food was very tasty. Was easy to get a table on a Sunday evening at 7:30pm. Serving staff were great, especially Paulina our waitress who was very helpful.

Lovely afternoon and evening spent with friends. Shout out to Glenn and Lucas - fantastic service from both.

Glenn and Lucas were absolutely wonderful, fab cocktails, look forward to coming back.

I recently visited Gusto with a large party and had a mixed experience. The starters were excellent, and the service stood out—our waiter went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant evening. Unfortunately, the appetizers fell short of expectations. Several guests who ordered medium-rare steaks received them rare instead. While the kitchen did take them back to cook them to the correct temperature, this took a significant amount of time. Additionally, while most of the food came out together, the pizza took even longer than the steaks that had been returned, resulting in us eating at different times. That said, the wait staff were terrific. They apologized sincerely, and the manager offered a discount on the bill, which was appreciated. It’s clear that the kitchen was the primary issue, as the front-of-house staff worked hard to address the problems. Despite the hiccups, Gusto shows promise. With better coordination from the kitchen, it has the potential to deliver a much better dining experience. I’m open to giving it another try in the future.

Had our work Christmas meal here last week and it did not disappoint. Service was on point and staff very attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was of a high quality. The restaurant had a lovely festive feel to it with crackers on the table and plenty of decorations. We were sat in the window so had a great position for our group. Thanks again to the Gusto team for one of the best Christmas meals we've had. Highly recommend, would go again!

Lovely ambience in here, and so classy. Went here for my birthday and recieved a complimentary happy birthday plate with a brownie! Had a free drink with my meal as they had poured extra of the cocktail. Our server Paty was ever so lovely. Would recommend to anyone!

Food was nice but very small portions and bit pricey they charged us 1.00 for charity with out our consent and the waitress was a bit full on Won’t be going back sorry

Waited over an hour for food, when it did come it was the wrong meals. Another half later we got our meals. Food was great when it did come.

I booked a table for 10 to celebrate a birthday. The table was booked months in advance and a huge shout out to Janki who was responsive to all communications and helpful with menu and drinks choices. There are options for menu and drinks packages which were just perfect and excellent value. My booking was for 2:30 and although the table was not ready when I could see that the restaurant was very busy and we were happy to wait. And the wait was worth it. The food was absolutely gorgeous. My guests had various dishes including humous, dough petals, sea bass (very highly rated!) and chicken breast. Not one complaint amongst 10 people. The food was excellent but it was the service that made it a five star experience. We were looked after so well by Agnes. Such a brilliant sense of humour, she kept us laughing whilst professionally dealing with our requests (including an allergy). Very attentive! There was a small mix up with the bill at the end but this was cleared up super quickly by the Manager. We all had a lovely time and wouldn't hesitate to book again for a large group.

We love Bianca! One of the best bottomless brunches we’ve been too. Loads of drinks to choose from one the menu: Bianca was ready to get our next drink order for us before we even knew we needed one. Such a great afternoon.

Unfortunately the service was very slow. I asked for bread for the meatball starter and was given bread "crisps" when it was cold. I was then asked if I would like parmesan for my Carbonara ... it never arrived. Rather disappointing. They were very quick with the bill, however, which included 12.5% service charge and a "voluntary" donation.
