Enjoyed a fantastic evening at Gusto with my work colleagues. The food, service and atmosphere in the restaurant were all excellent and I look forward to returning there in the future.

What a wonderful meal - start to finish - the staff are amazing here - so friendly and knowledgeable- the Manager also spoke to us to ensure all was well - a beautiful experience with family - Thank you Gusto !

We visited Gusto for our wedding anniversary. They have a great selection of Italian food on their menu with something to suit everyone. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, we were well looked after by Paulina who was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I had the pan seared scallops for starter and my wife had the Garlic butter signature dough petals, both dishes were excellent. For mains we had the Scallop and Prawn ravioli and the spaghetti carbonara with some seasoned fries on the side, both me and my wife finished every last bite of our mains, they were very tasty and fresh. The seasoned fries were a big highlight for us! We saved some space for dessert and had the Nutella dough petals, the team surprised us with a special anniversary message on the plate which was a really nice touch. One of the best meals out we’ve had in a long time, thank you Paulina and the Gusto team for making our anniversary special!

Food slow (45mins for 1 pasta dish), barely warm and not all that when it arrived. Service average , the waitresses looked busy enough despite place being half full

We recently visited the Gusto in Liverpool and loved it so decided to visit in Birmingham also but we were very disappointed. Although the restaurant itself is decorated beautifully and in a great central location, both the food and the service let it down. We had been sat down for about 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drinks order. One ordered we waited 45 for our starters to arrive! They were quite tasty. However the mains were quite a let down, we again waited quite a while for them to come out. I had a carbonara and the pasta felt slightly crunchy as though it hadn’t been cooked for long enough, everyone else had said their mains were disappointing also. A real shame as we’d had such a good experience in the Liverpool Gusto we expected the same here but it let us down. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend.

We really enjoyed ourselves and will be sure to come back next time we’re in the city! Our server was Jess and she was amazing! Jess recommended dishes for us from each section of the menu as we weren’t sure what to order and her suggestions were great!

Went there for my graduation dinner and honestly everything was amazing! The food was 10/10. I tried everyone’s meals & all were as good as each-other. The service was also great!

I have eaten here quite often and always found the food, service and atmosphere superb! The only comment I want to say on the slightly negative side is, myself and friends decided to go for a bottomless brunch this time which was perfect however, I disagree with having to pay a couple of pound more just for a burger!! Everything should have been included in the cost. Just a slight grumble!

The food was really nice and the servers friendly and quick. That's all as you'd expect for the type of place. The actual food to come out though was really really slow and it wasn't particularly busy. We didn't think we were in a rush but by the end we were. A service charge of 12.5% was also added to the bill.it does state this on the menu. I'd expect this for larger groups (6 or more) to be honest but for a standard table of 4 I think it is disrespectful. It'll make us think twice about returning

We came for a bottomless brunch and was served by Charlotte. Food was great and service was good, slightly slower on service between drinks but it was a busy Saturday and Charlotte was v we y accommodating.

Went here for my wife's birthday dinner after having gone once before. Just as before I thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic food and our waitress Charlotte's service was spot on, attentive and extremely welcoming. We tried the Chateaubriand for 2, which was delicious, and I can't recommend their dough balls for dessert enough. Will be returning soon enough I'm certain

The gentleman was searching for a table for 2 Really a table for 2 at lunch the place was empty. The food was pathetic not enough on the charcuterie board was one kind of meat and 2 kinds of cheese goats yuk and mozzarella cheese no salt or pepper brought to table a bit of rocket not even 2 whole pickles also a couple of peace of greasy courgette 2 pieces of bruichetta. We shared a salad was good, fries good, olives and 2 drinks. Don't think anyone was bothered if we enjoyed because none of waiting staff bothered to ask during food. Only person happy and smiled was barman. Just very cold atmosphere. Explained to my granddaughter we are not going there again.

This great Italian. The food was delicious.The seafood risotto was lovely . We were served really quickly. Friendly staff. Thomas and Lucas gave us a free leftover pornstar spritz which was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely eat here again .

What a super place to enjoy tasty well presented food. Gusto atmosphere is great a real energy and buzz makes this lovely Italian restaurant sing! The waiting staff were excellent and looked after us all incredibly well. The person looking after us obviously really enjoyed her work and was pleasant and smiley all the way. The food was excellent from the shared starters to the mains all faultless.

Great food spot , lovely staff. I was served by Alfie who looked after me the whole time. He was very sweet and attended to my every need. Also a big thank you to Lucas for his drink recommendations. It paired very nicely with the food.

I am genuinely unsure whether I will visit again. We spent just under £350 on the bill. I went back online today to further detail my visit experience but couldn’t as I had already used the code. 1. The waitress clearly had issue with us whether this was due to appearance/ race I don’t know. 2. But we had to order two courses from another member of staff due to her ignoring our table. 3. She dropped the cutlery to our dessert at the empty space at the other end of the table which we had to retrieve ourself. 4. At no point even now has she asked how we are finding our meal. 5. When we went to the bar after being ignored repeatedly to pay she came and asked the other staff member what the issue was and still didn’t address us again as her customers. 6. We asked about the courses on the menu she acted as though she had no menu knowledge as she didn’t want to spend any time at our table. £25 out of £344 isn’t a gesture of good will it is an insult which further goes hand in hand with our experience. I booked here for my father who is 73 I value the fathers days I have with him and this was nothing short of disappointment. Overall a big no from us.

We had a lovely evening at Gusto, the food and drinks were delicious- a special mention to the vegan pizza which can often be disappointing. Only grumble would be not being offered any drinks within 10 minutes or so of being seated and having to ask to order them. The ‘happy anniversary’ dessert was a really lovely touch, much appreciated

I came to dine yesterday and Charlotte was my server and she gave exceptional service!

Went here today 15/6/24 to celebrate mine and a friend’s 50th( who unfortunately couldn’t join us as not well) also our 21st wedding anniversary.From the moment you walk in the staff are friendly. The food was delicious will definitely be returning in the next few months with our friends who should have joined us today to celebrate. Not over priced either which is always good

What a splendid restaurant 😍 with great service! Our waitress was Charlotte, who was incredibly hospitable, kind and bubbly. She went out of her way to make sure we had the best experience at Gusto and will definitely be coming back because of her!

This is a very relaxed nice comforting place. Food is top notch, flavoursome and nutritious. Charlotte the waitress was very pleasant and friendly. Overall the service was exemplary and the food was reasonably priced. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel relaxed, get first class customer service, nice chilled music with excellent food :)

We had the most fabulous surprise birthday dinner at Gusto Birmingham last week. As a large group, we ordered in advance. The service was fantastic, the food was amazing and the cocktails were fabulous. Everyone had a great evening and it was great value for money as the food is delicious indeed

Creme brulee, Some deserts and the coffee was good, except the creme brulee, they like to use alcohol and light it on fire which is not ideal as it doesn’t melt the sugar and formulate the crispy outside as it is normally served(they have taken it back and apologised and the second I have gotten was same as before so we just left) not ideal… For future reference you could torch the sugar then add alcohol on top of it for the effect and the crispy texture.

early dining experience with friends. service from Louise was friendly, warm and welcoming yet professional. had duck breast and sea bass, side salad followed by cannoli and coffees. portion size of duck was a little small but sea bass came in 2 sizes and the larger one for 2 fillets was perfect. enjoyed white wine too. ambience buzzing but not overloud. good menu selection.

Portion size is small for a chain Italian restaurant. The Italian Beer was awful, as far as chains go it was ok, but with so much other choice in Birmingham we wil go elsewhere

Lovely restaurant, was greeted nicely and served well, Bianca was so nice and outgoing which made our visit that more the better, the food was amazing with good portions so i would say it was worth the price and will be visiting again soon! 💕💕💕

The atmosphere is just perfect for an wonderful meal. The service was first class and the food was excellent. I can highly recommend the Duck Breast for a main and a Tiramisu for dessert. I shall be back here.

Group of 11 went for lunch. Waited for 1hr for lunch - which was too long. When the food arrived, it was delicious - ordered a pizza. One of the group didn't get the right pizza (they wanted no onions, however got one with onions) and had to wait a bit more, which wasn't great. The waiter/waitresses were really friendly and attentive. Whilst it did take a while to get the food, the taste was worth the wait - however would prefer to have gotten the food within 30 mins max.

Not a bad little place. Service was decent but not spectacular. The pizzas were a little undercooked, but I know that's hard to get right with sough dough. Prices are erring on the slightly higher side, but not extortionately so. Far from 5 stars but I would say around 3/4 stars compared to other similar places.

First visit here and it will not be the last. Great ambience, clean and hygienic environment. Abundance of choice on the food and bar menu. Good quality food served at optimum temperature. Excellent. 5*****

My expectations for this place were high, but my experience was way below average

Lovely evening meal with my two boys. The restaurant is lovely, the food was amazing and Charlotte our waitress was the most exceptional, friendliest and always served us with a smile. Charlotte advised us on our food choices and bought our food and drinks out quickly. I loved that she kept checking to see if we were okay and if we needed anything else. Thank you Charlotte for making sure everything was perfect for our evening meal. We shall return!

Recently came here spontaneously with my partner on a Friday evening. We were seated quickly and efficiently, waitress was super friendly and helpful and food was delicious. Would definitely visit again!

Brilliant food and service thanks

We were a group of 8 wanting a quick meal. Took almost 45 minutes to get our one courses- 3 salads, 1 pizza and pasta dishes. We were there late afternoon when it wasn’t busy and stressed we only had an hour. The 3 chicken Caesar salads were very poor…. Mostly lettuce drowned in dressing, each with only a few tiny diced pieces of chicken, no where near a whole chicken portion. The other meals were also small sized. An order of fries arrived after we paid the bill .
