As soon as you enter the restaurant, its outdated and feels old. Clearly most of the money has been spent on the exterior building. We received great service from the waitresses, however the manager was rude towards his own members of staff!! Had flies in my wine glass. I don't feel like the food was exceptionally or value for money.

The food here is exceptional and the service matches that of the food. Genuinely couldn't fault the food, staff or the ambience. The prices reflect the quality of the food and we shall return without doubt.

Love Da Vinci. Amazing food. A real traditional Italian restaurant. Perfecto. Favourite restaurant in Coventry.

I recently visited Ristorante Da Vinci with my partner, and we both ordered the steak Diane. As someone who can be a bit fussy with food, I requested mine without the traditional sauce and instead asked for peppercorn sauce on the side. To my delight, the staff were incredibly accommodating. The chef prepared my steak in the kitchen rather than table-side to ensure our food was ready at the same time - my partner enjoyed the full tableside experience. It was a thoughtful touch that made me feel comfortable while still allowing us both to enjoy our meals. While the food is on the pricier side, it’s absolutely worth it as a treat. The steak was perfectly tender, cooked to my requested temperature and flavorful, and the peppercorn sauce was the best I’ve ever had. The quality of the food and the presentation are top-notch. I highly recommend the side salad, I’ve never had a salad so fresh! The service was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the staff took our coats and were immediately attentive without being overbearing. If you’re not used to fine dining, be prepared - they even place a fabric napkin on your lap for you! It’s these small touches that elevate the experience and make it feel special. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and I’d happily return for another treat in the future. Highly recommended for a special occasion or when you’re in the mood for a little luxury.

My sister and brother in law always take me to this restaurant when I’m visiting for a treat or over Christmas. It is such a lovely place. The food is always delicious - such high quality and generous portions - and we have always had a special time there because the staff make us feel so welcome and well taken care of. Service is attentive and charming. I really recommend.

Decidí celebrar mi cumpleaños en el Vinci este año, como una familia que ama los mariscos que hemos visitado varias veces a lo largo de los años. Pedí el Gamberoni Al Pomodoro Picante para mi entrada y a un precio de 16 libras. 95 por 4 gambas reales Esperaba que fueran algunas de las mejores gambas que había comido. . Lamentablemente estaban muy cocinados y las colas se dejaron sin previo aviso, decepcionante por decir lo menos! 4 de cada 5 de nosotros comimos el Linguine Conn Fruitt Di Mare, la comida salió increíble, pero desafortunadamente el calamar estaba severamente sobrecocido y duro como el cuero para masticar, los mejillones tampoco parecían frescos, la salsa carecía de equilibrio y estaba dominada por el chile. El calamar era tan malo que no podía comer nada de él, y la mayoría de la mesa no disfrutaba de su comida. Cuando el personal de espera pidió comentarios sobre la comida, les hice saber lo anterior, recibí una disculpa vacía y abandonaron rápidamente la mesa. Cerveza y refrescos muy caros - apenas coca fría en un vaso pequeño lleno hasta el borde de hielo para compensar, £ 4. Sentí que el personal era desdeñoso cuando intentamos pedir bebidas, no parecía impresionado no todos pedimos entrantes y desiertos. Este lugar ha ido completamente cuesta abajo, no volveremos después de esta experiencia, el precio no se compara con la calidad o la cocina de la comida, el ambiente drab y la decoración cansada.

No teníamos una reserva, pero estábamos sentados sin dudarlo. Tuve la sensación de que el restaurante daba la bienvenida regularmente a los clientes habituales, con los gerentes asistiendo personalmente a cada mesa para compartir las especiales y tomar pedidos. Empezamos con la bruschetta y el aperitivo especial de higo, que mi hijo realmente disfrutó. Los otros platos que pedimos también eran agradables: - Scaloppina di vitello fungaiola - Linguine con frutti di mare - Petto di pollo con i gamberi -Papas fritas Los precios eran sorprendentes, pero la comida era buena.

Fui el domingo con mi esposa por aniversario. La comida italiana y el ambiente eran excelentes. Y nuestra camarera era excepcional, esposa se llamó Dia. Ella era extremadamente atento y acogedor a nosotros y las mesas a nuestro alrededor. Definitivamente volveremos, y esperamos que mantengan el personal que realmente añadió a la experiencia. Agradable ser cuidado mientras disfruta de una comida fantástica.

Tengo que ser honesto porque el precio era de esperar mucha más comida era soso y simplemente no estaba a la altura.El personal era encantador, pero la comida simplemente no muy agradable. Somos grandes amantes de la comida y nos encanta todo, incluso cuando el personal vio que dejamos todo lo que no dijeron una palabra. ¡En realidad dice mucho!

Very expensive restaurant considering what I had. I only come maybe once a year if I have to. A lot of people are saying that it's a very expensive place. We go to Spain every year and compared to the prices in this restaurant are so cheap there and we are only in Earlsdon not in Barcelona!

Friendly welcome, great food, efficient service, well designed interior, reasonably priced, what else can one ask for?! One of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at for many years.

The food - both the fish and the meat - was exquisite. My monk fish came cooked to perfection with an unusual, flavoursome sauce, although the look of my son-in-law's Filetto Gorgonzola and the appreciative noises he was making did make me wonder if I had made the right choice ... The dessert menu was wickedly long. In the end, we had a Zabaglione (obligatory for two, which we shared between four of us). It was concocted in front of our eyes from a trolley, and tasted heavenly. Since only two of us imbibed, we appreciated the availability of what turned out to be a very nice bottle of Chianti on the wine list. The service was attentive and fast. This was my first meal out in Coventry, I suspect that it won't be the last in this wonderful establishment in Earlsdon.

A beautiful, traditional Italian restaurant. The food was exceptional but their garlic bread deserves a mention, really a dish on its own! We also had crepes suzette, something I hadn’t had for years and it didn’t disappoint.

Delicious lunch, my third visit. Giorgio is welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and very passionate about his menu and Italy. We enjoyed a leisurely three course meal on a sleepy Bank Holiday Monday. The special starter was fresh baked figs, wrapped in ham, with goats cheese and drizzled in honey - delicious. We enjoyed fish specials, haddock with a black garlic, cream and masala sauce, I enjoyed monkfish with prawns, brandy and tomato. Incredibly generous portions, a side of zucchini fitti. We just about managed dessert, with a glass of masala and coffee to finish. A very pleasant couple of hours, excellent quality, fresh and tasty and attentive company from Giorgio. Highly recommended!

Excellent lunch visit by the family. We ate from the lunch menu. I had the interesting vegetable soup and the special venison with figs. The others went for the fish dishes. More relaxed than our evening visits, great service and good value. Tonight we enjoyed an anniversary celebration at Da Vinci's with our son. I had the monkfish and Richard & I shared the Zabaglione. We had a bottle of the Lugana wine again, this time in a one litre bottle. This went down well with the food.

Excellent Italian flavour!!! I love Risotto so much! It’s the best Italian meal I ate before. Fresh seafood. The service, the food and the serving time are all satisfied. ( I pay for 2 hours parking time in advance but actually only 1 hour because of amazing fast serving time)

This was pretty good. It’s very expensive. I got the risotto which was nice but loads of onions in it, I wish the menu said it had onion. Really nice bruschetta starter. Nice bread starter. Good wine and Negronis! Service was really good.

Edit- after Business asked me whether I knew it was Italian Restaurant., so reducing one more star for such behaviour. Now, I will give further details on experience here, Not at all liked anything tried, chicken breast was all fibrous and as bland as you boil it and taste it, it will still taste better. One other dish was too salty, felt like I completed my sodium chloride quota for a month. Rissoto Con Funghi - Rice was not at all tasty, Dal khichdi at home taste 100 times better. Other dishes I forgot, but I remember only one thing I could tolerate for which I have given 1 star now was garlic bread. So I knew it was Italian and didn’t expect I’d hate Italian food after coming out of this restaurant. This review is for Indians or South asians born and grown up in South asia. Food - didnt like any of the dish after spending amount almost equivalent to 2 weeks of grocery for average family. Ambience- good Service- nice I would recommend people from above background particularly to stay away from this place, if Italian food doesnt suit you. it’s not meant for South Asian people with palate for spicy food.

First visit to this restaurant and it was a culinary experience , starters and main course excellent , wife and I really enjoyed the food , we are back in Coventry in September and will certainly be visiting again !!!

We came to Da Vincis restaurant to celebrate my son and daughter in law's UK wedding. We were a small party of 11 plus a baby. We had a "U" shaped table towards the rear of the restaurant which was absolutely perfect. The service and food were perfect. The staff made the whole experience a delight. We weren't rushed and they didn't mind us bringing in our own wedding cake (or a 2 week old baby).

This is local italian restaurante in Earlsdon. I had passed by it many times and so one night I decided to book a table. The service was excellent, attentive but not over the top. Starters and main felt fresh and were flavourful. Overall a lovely place to enjoy a nice italian meal.

We were a fairly large party booking at short notice. Good food and cheerful service.

Nice food. The Asian female waiter is unbelievably racist to other Asians, while providing nice and thoughtful service to other people. Interesting how an Asian who is also a waiter ignoring Asian customs all the time. With no help and no talk at all. Feel sad for the other waiter. As all other tables are taking care by the two waiters, he needs to take care of Asian tables due to the unprofessional behavior of his Asian female coworker.

Food was good, but so many small things that disappointed means we wouldn't want to come back. The tables are too low compared to the seat height, so eating was uncomfortable. There was no "affordable" wine on the menu, carafe of house wine was £30 and was bland, want decent choices sub £25. We knew the vegatables were an extra cost to the main, but they were bland. I had sauted potatoes and they may as well have been frozen chips, expected crispy coated in olive oil with herbs and maybe even some pancetta, Personally hate the constant topping up of wine glasses, makes me/us drink more quickly than I/we want. Tiramisu was excellent.

Food was good, but my experience with the waiter was horrible. I have arrived slightly late and my mates were already inside with a table. When I told the waiter I have friends inside, he asked me if I'm sure where I was at and didn't let me in as if I don't belong there. Horrible customer service.

Beautifully decorated Italian restaurant with very friendly service. Food is a bit pricey but comes in generous portions, after a sharing starter and mains I have to give up on my dessert. Quality is great and certainly better and feels more authentic than those in popular Italian restaurant chains. Personally feels a bit too cheesy towards the end but that's more a subjective preference rather than a reflection of their quality. Overall I will definitely recommend this place.

We fancied Italian food whilst visiting Coventry and chose this place based on Google reviews. The service was great and the food did not disappoint. Feeding two teenagers who spent all Saturday in the pool I am pleased to say they felt 'full' at the end of our meal! Once they polished the bread basket, the mozzarella, chicken, chips, salad and the dessert...

One of the best restaurants we’ve visited. Service is authentically warm and friendly but utterly professional. Classic Italian dishes: fine ingredients cooked with expertise and elegance. The experience is perfect value for money, being well priced but always utterly memorable.

Proper Italian food, not only pizzas at all. Great selection and definitely tasty ingredients. Starters were filling and I struggled to finish my main meal. Wine was top knock as well as the cocktails. Located in a part of Coventry I did not know, surprised me in a positive way 😀

As a regular here for the past 20 years, it’s always a pleasure to see Antonio and have a lovely meal there. Always very happy to see you especially if you come off and also if you don’t. Food is always stunning and very tasty. Nothing is too much trouble.

Food is lovely here, very tasty, big portions and the seafood was really fresh. Theres lots of options on the menu to choose from. Drinks wise, they only have the house wine sold by glass otherwise you have to buy a bottle which isnt great but they also serve a selection of cocktails at a reasonable price. The service was good although i did feel like we were getting rushed on a bit, with the amount of times they came over to us. It was a bit pricey too but given the quality its reasonable.
