Very expensive restaurant considering what I had. I only come maybe once a year if I have to. A lot of people are saying that it's a very expensive place. We go to Spain every year and compared to the prices in this restaurant are so cheap there and we are only in Earlsdon not in Barcelona!

The food - both the fish and the meat - was exquisite. My monk fish came cooked to perfection with an unusual, flavoursome sauce, although the look of my son-in-law's Filetto Gorgonzola and the appreciative noises he was making did make me wonder if I had made the right choice ... The dessert menu was wickedly long. In the end, we had a Zabaglione (obligatory for two, which we shared between four of us). It was concocted in front of our eyes from a trolley, and tasted heavenly. Since only two of us imbibed, we appreciated the availability of what turned out to be a very nice bottle of Chianti on the wine list. The service was attentive and fast. This was my first meal out in Coventry, I suspect that it won't be the last in this wonderful establishment in Earlsdon.

A beautiful, traditional Italian restaurant. The food was exceptional but their garlic bread deserves a mention, really a dish on its own! We also had crepes suzette, something I hadn’t had for years and it didn’t disappoint.

Delicious lunch, my third visit. Giorgio is welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and very passionate about his menu and Italy. We enjoyed a leisurely three course meal on a sleepy Bank Holiday Monday. The special starter was fresh baked figs, wrapped in ham, with goats cheese and drizzled in honey - delicious. We enjoyed fish specials, haddock with a black garlic, cream and masala sauce, I enjoyed monkfish with prawns, brandy and tomato. Incredibly generous portions, a side of zucchini fitti. We just about managed dessert, with a glass of masala and coffee to finish. A very pleasant couple of hours, excellent quality, fresh and tasty and attentive company from Giorgio. Highly recommended!

Excellent lunch visit by the family. We ate from the lunch menu. I had the interesting vegetable soup and the special venison with figs. The others went for the fish dishes. More relaxed than our evening visits, great service and good value. Tonight we enjoyed an anniversary celebration at Da Vinci's with our son. I had the monkfish and Richard & I shared the Zabaglione. We had a bottle of the Lugana wine again, this time in a one litre bottle. This went down well with the food.

Excellent Italian flavour!!! I love Risotto so much! It’s the best Italian meal I ate before. Fresh seafood. The service, the food and the serving time are all satisfied. ( I pay for 2 hours parking time in advance but actually only 1 hour because of amazing fast serving time)

This was pretty good. It’s very expensive. I got the risotto which was nice but loads of onions in it, I wish the menu said it had onion. Really nice bruschetta starter. Nice bread starter. Good wine and Negronis! Service was really good.

Edit- after Business asked me whether I knew it was Italian Restaurant., so reducing one more star for such behaviour. Now, I will give further details on experience here, Not at all liked anything tried, chicken breast was all fibrous and as bland as you boil it and taste it, it will still taste better. One other dish was too salty, felt like I completed my sodium chloride quota for a month. Rissoto Con Funghi - Rice was not at all tasty, Dal khichdi at home taste 100 times better. Other dishes I forgot, but I remember only one thing I could tolerate for which I have given 1 star now was garlic bread. So I knew it was Italian and didn’t expect I’d hate Italian food after coming out of this restaurant. This review is for Indians or South asians born and grown up in South asia. Food - didnt like any of the dish after spending amount almost equivalent to 2 weeks of grocery for average family. Ambience- good Service- nice I would recommend people from above background particularly to stay away from this place, if Italian food doesnt suit you. it’s not meant for South Asian people with palate for spicy food.

We came to Da Vincis restaurant to celebrate my son and daughter in law's UK wedding. We were a small party of 11 plus a baby. We had a "U" shaped table towards the rear of the restaurant which was absolutely perfect. The service and food were perfect. The staff made the whole experience a delight. We weren't rushed and they didn't mind us bringing in our own wedding cake (or a 2 week old baby).

This is local italian restaurante in Earlsdon. I had passed by it many times and so one night I decided to book a table. The service was excellent, attentive but not over the top. Starters and main felt fresh and were flavourful. Overall a lovely place to enjoy a nice italian meal.

Nice food. The Asian female waiter is unbelievably racist to other Asians, while providing nice and thoughtful service to other people. Interesting how an Asian who is also a waiter ignoring Asian customs all the time. With no help and no talk at all. Feel sad for the other waiter. As all other tables are taking care by the two waiters, he needs to take care of Asian tables due to the unprofessional behavior of his Asian female coworker.

Food was good, but so many small things that disappointed means we wouldn't want to come back. The tables are too low compared to the seat height, so eating was uncomfortable. There was no "affordable" wine on the menu, carafe of house wine was £30 and was bland, want decent choices sub £25. We knew the vegatables were an extra cost to the main, but they were bland. I had sauted potatoes and they may as well have been frozen chips, expected crispy coated in olive oil with herbs and maybe even some pancetta, Personally hate the constant topping up of wine glasses, makes me/us drink more quickly than I/we want. Tiramisu was excellent.

Food was good, but my experience with the waiter was horrible. I have arrived slightly late and my mates were already inside with a table. When I told the waiter I have friends inside, he asked me if I'm sure where I was at and didn't let me in as if I don't belong there. Horrible customer service.

We fancied Italian food whilst visiting Coventry and chose this place based on Google reviews. The service was great and the food did not disappoint. Feeding two teenagers who spent all Saturday in the pool I am pleased to say they felt 'full' at the end of our meal! Once they polished the bread basket, the mozzarella, chicken, chips, salad and the dessert...

Beautifully decorated Italian restaurant with very friendly service. Food is a bit pricey but comes in generous portions, after a sharing starter and mains I have to give up on my dessert. Quality is great and certainly better and feels more authentic than those in popular Italian restaurant chains. Personally feels a bit too cheesy towards the end but that's more a subjective preference rather than a reflection of their quality. Overall I will definitely recommend this place.

Proper Italian food, not only pizzas at all. Great selection and definitely tasty ingredients. Starters were filling and I struggled to finish my main meal. Wine was top knock as well as the cocktails. Located in a part of Coventry I did not know, surprised me in a positive way 😀

Food is lovely here, very tasty, big portions and the seafood was really fresh. Theres lots of options on the menu to choose from. Drinks wise, they only have the house wine sold by glass otherwise you have to buy a bottle which isnt great but they also serve a selection of cocktails at a reasonable price. The service was good although i did feel like we were getting rushed on a bit, with the amount of times they came over to us. It was a bit pricey too but given the quality its reasonable.

Had the pleasure of dining there last night for our anniversary. The food was amazing and considering we have an Italian in the family, the Tiramisu was the best we’ve ever tasted. Excellent service! Very tasty latte! Pricey menu… Unfortunately, the food was not as good as we expected. Risotto was ok, but not the best I have eaten. I also had tiramisu; the cream was good, but a bit too sweet for me and the lady fingers were mostly dry and not fluffy and moist as it should be.

I came with my partner and must say, we were blown away by the quality of the food and the service. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. It's not the cheapest of restaurants, but you absolutely get what you pay for. The portion sizes are just right, and the flavours are well balanced - nothing tasted overpowering in the dishes. I had the veal with parma ham, mozzarella and aubergine, and sautéed potatoes - absolutely loved it. My partner had Norwegian cod with cherry tomatoes and red onions and found everything perfectly cooked. Dessert was chocolate panna cotta, a daily special - again, delicious. We will be back for more.

A superb experience, with glorious specials... my halibut was stunning... and first class service. Authentic and genuinely honest cooking, and a great, cheerful team. This is an undoubted gem I wish I'd discovered 20 years ago. Go... you won't be disappointed. My advice...if you can't get... break in!

The best italian food from England!(I tried a loot of restaurants before )

Went for dinner. I like my meal but there were mixed reviews on our table. Staff are friendly

Interesting place. Unpretentious location, lovely ambiance inside. Staff responded well to the a bit of customer humour. The Sicilian waiter Andreas really understood the wines and was spot on with his somelier's patter. This was not a cheap night out. But it was a very good one and imho good value. Their Parma ham served with candied walnut and poached pear. Way nicer than the traditional offering with melon! The pasta and seafood was awesome. And the coffee and panacotta dessert an ideal finish. Perhaps the only teensy bit negative was trying to get the attention to pay - but we only needed to ask once and were happy to be patient. The music was Italian crooning for example Eros Ramazzotti.

Staff were not helpful at myself and my family were made to feel like we didnt belong there.Prices were extortionate will definitely not go back there

Fabulous food and service. A few more veggie options would have given 5 stars. They did say they could alter some dishes for me if necessary, but the pasta I chose from the menu was delicious.

We were a party of 3. We didn't want a full dinner just a light bite. The place had one other party of 5 in. We ordered drinks and were given menus. We were informed of the specials. We all decided and were ready to order. The staff had been lovely and polite. Enter who I think is the manager. Started to take our order and once we had listed the 3 starters he moved on to main courses. We said just the starters for now please and he then told us if we weren't having main courses we weren't able to eat anything. He carried on saying that they are a restaurant and can't/won't serve anyone just starters. We had already ordered drinks so we asked for the bill and left. No good on customer service and definitely need retraining on manners and courtesy. We will not be going back there and will not recommend to anyone. In fact we will actively discourage people from visiting as there are many more restaurants on Earlsdon high street that are much better and more welcoming than Da Vinci's. I would have given zero stars if I could.

Racist waiters and restaurants are so unpalatable that nauseous and unfresh dishes are expensive as if they are scrambling money.😤😩😠🥵 After reading the menu, I called the waiter many times to order, but there was no response. After that, I walked to the cashier and asked the waiter to order for me. I stood by the cashier and waited for two minutes, and a white couple came in. The waiter quickly turned all his attention to the white guests and ignored me, which made me very embarrassed and sad. Obviously, there were enough waiters to say hello to the new guests and find an empty waiter to entertain them, but the waiter directly put me who was ordering. Look at and entertain new white customers. This makes me deeply feel that the waiters in this store are very different in entertaining different races. I'm completely speechless. This is the first time I've been treated like this by a waiter in a foreign restaurant since I came to England for three years. Isn't this serious racial discrimination? After that, the dishes were served, which could be said to be epic and unpalatable! The poisonous steak is 🥩, the lobster without lobster, and the smelly scallop that are not fresh at all. I saw 86 pounds when I checked out. It was really a rush.

Don't ever go to this restaurant. The manager is the most unprofessional manager I have ever seen. My wife and I went for dinner. For starters the place was almost empty, save for two small parties, but we were given a table next to the toilet. We ordered fish from the limited menu as most of the items were not available on the night The smell from the toilet and the sub standard meal made my wife sick, being as they sat us by the toilet she made it to the loo on time. Fortunately noone noticed her getting sick. We asked for the bill so we could leave before she was sick again, the manager told us he will give us when he is ready.. Busy he was not as he was busy laughing and chatting with his staff.. I ask him three times and he kept ignoring me.. After 30 to 40 minutes (no exaggeration), I got up and demanded from the waitress that she make out a bill which she did in a minute . After paying the £100 bill I could hear her telling her boss off and he said he didn't care.. I do not know why he didnt like us at all.. He was by the door when we left but there was no apology or even a thank you. By the way we could not fault the waitress. She was very friendly. But the bold owner or manager should never be given the pleasure of clientele..The most horrible restaurant on Earlsdon high street in our generous opinion

My friends and I travelled to have lunch here yesterday. This was a central meeting place, so a first for us all. The service and the food was exceptional. It was definitely worth the drive. Very good menu offering plenty of choice. Good sized portions too that was reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again.

Food was pretty bland and manager extremely rude. £110 for food we didn't even enjoy. One of the plates was even pretty raw. Given the rudeness of the short bad mannered waiter I didn't even bothered about sending the plate back, also my friends were already eating, both very unhappy as well. Only good thing was the wine but you know, they don't produce them. Covert bread extremely hard, probably there for days. Wouldn't go back even it was £1

Friendly staff, fantastic service and amazing food.

Honestly, this place is amazing. The hospitality is incredible, staff always have a smile on their face and are more than happy to look after you. I came for my Grandma’s 90th birthday and she was looked after by the staff brilliantly, I loved every second. Special thanks to Andrea, a true professional in his craft and made the night truly better for us, thank you fratello!!!! I will be back and can’t wait until then. Thank you!! Grazie!!
