Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great coffee! Claire served us - couldn’t do enough for us and our dog! Great to be greeted with a smile! Home baked cakes available and food looked good. Situated just outside the park, some seating outside. Great story behind the cafe and what it is achieving - give it some support.

First time at the Rising Cafe Hexham. Filter coffee really nice and Free top up. Menu with plenty of options and reasonably priced. Met with lovely young lady Claire who was very polite friendly happy and helpful. Will definitely return. Highly reccomend.

Lovely place! We have one of these in our home town and love the ethos, when we spotted they did afternoon tea and toasties it was a must visit! We were greeted and served by the lovely bubbly Claire. Great gluten free options and generous portions. We will return if we are in the area again. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful lunch and our waitress, Clare, was friendly and helpful. The salads are generous in proportion and made with interesting and tasty ingredients.

This is a fantastic little place and well worth a visit by anyone visiting Hexham. Special thanks to our waitress, Charlotte, for explaining so well how the Rising Cafe came about. Food and service were excellent. I can see why it has such great reviews.

I went here for afternoon tea today. The food was absolutely lovely, lots of tasty sandwiches (3 types), huge pieces of cake (3 types), the best cheese scone I've ever had (you can choose scone type) all presented really impressively with salad, crisps and coffee. Amazing value for money. Staff really nice and friendly and the coffee shop has a nice homely feel to it. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for a great afternoon tea.

Stopped by here as we are currently trying to find the best cheese scone in Northumberland and Hexham was next on the list. We stopped by here at 2pm and they had one cheese scone left. It was very nice, tasty, got put in a box with a bit of butter and knife. Would defo go back for another one some time.

This cafe truly is not be missed if you in Hexham. The food is of excellent quality and exceptional value for money, The girls who work there are just so welcoming and friendly and thank you to Donna who made our time in the cafe just such a fabulous experience.

We had lunch today shared the Ploughman’s followed by the Coffee Cake beautifully presented and wonderfully friendly staff. Will definitely return.

Arrived at 11.30 to avoid the rush as it got really busy by 12.00. Donna was lovely and explained about the Charity. The Tea and Coffee are both cheap and good quality. The Cajun Chicken burger was lovely with skin on fries and a salad. The staff were lovely and really grateful that we had visited based on the TripAdvisor reviews. By the time we left the place was buzzing.

Lovely atmosphere. The people are warm and welcoming. You can see Christ within them. The coffee is also delicious. Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing place. Staff were so welcoming , despite being run off their feet they made so much effort to make sure we were looked after. We arrived late on a busy Saturday afternoon when the Christmas market was on - food was selling out fast but the ladies there made sure we got a great meal. Food was delicious. 1st visit and we will definitely be back soon. Keep up the great work, you really are a credit to your hard work and determination.

We called in here for a spot of lunch. I had a Humphrey Bogart salad (a very generous portion of chicken & bacon salad with extras) My other half had a jacket potato with chilli, which for the price, he wasn’t expecting it to be such a generous portion. Our Grandson had a Full English, which he enjoyed. Lovely food, well presented and pleasant staff. Highly recommend this place.

Staying in Beaumont Hotel 3 doors down and as breakfast was not included opted for here instead. Great decision, staff were lovely, service first class, not your run off the mill menu with some great choices. Both had a great breakfast..... My omelette was massive.

I had a delicious breakfast here this morning. The best eggs benedict I've ever had, with perfectly cooked poached eggs. My children had the kids breakfast and the omelette and they also really enjoyed their meals. I have visited before for lunch and for coffee and have never had a bad experience, so thought I'd better get round to writing a 5* review.

We visited on spec for morning coffee. The cheese scones were outstanding. My wife, who is a very good home baker, thought they were better than her own! We were so impressed that we went back for lunch. We had a different salad each. They were both very generous, very tasty and different from the run of the mill salad. If I'm in Hexham in future I'll certainly go back.
